Uhh treat! You get a poem I just wrote because you’re special for being the first. I’ll just go write it real quick (okay, not quick, it took me a while). Anyway, for you, new friend!

Autumn will fall

It’s dark outside But is it even scary? (Or closer to exciting?) (Maybe even calming?) The leaves on the trees They’re yellow and red (Until they turn to brown) (But they’re orange for now) Rain taps on the windows It’s a nice ambiance (So long as you aren’t stuck in the storm) (Then don’t stay stuck too long) There’s a scent in the air It speaks of winter’s arrival (But let’s not worry about that) (For it isn’t yet final) Oh, it’s dark outside Welcoming and near (I’ve been waiting for this) (And now it’s here) It’s the time for autumn once more A season quite contradictory (Because it’s warm and happy) (But it’s also cold and melancholy) Soon it will fall And water turns to snow (But let’s live in the moment) (Because it’s autumn once more)

I wanna ask you what you make of Shuri becoming the Black Panther but deciding not to be Queen? Do you think she'll reject the Queen role in the future, or that she will assume it eventually?

oh my god, thank YOU for sharing your wonderful thoughts on here!! i love the specific themes you highlight in your posts like your response to "queen ramonda's death was unwarranted" was that her death allowed shuri to personally experience her mother's journey and it was a necessary step for the transformation for shuri's overall character like wooooaahhh. i love your perspective on things

that's a good question! i'll admit i haven't thought about it in depth but my initial thoughts are that after all the loss shuri's experienced in such a short amount of time, her taking on the black panther mantle itself was a huge commitment, yet she did it because it was necessary, but more importantly she did it out of rage. though through her actions in the movie from the start (calling for a peaceful resolution with namor regarding riri) till the end (offering protection for the talokans if namor yields) prove that she is perfectly capable of being wakanda's leader, she is still processing her grief and anger, even by the end of the movie, and it makes a lot of sense that she's not personally ready to be queen because grief doesn't really make sense and it's not a linear process

you can argue that queen ramonda was grieving too when she had to become queen. and though shuri is her daughter she is not a child anymore. but shuri just became an adult and had to go through so much already without the leadership experience that the queen had years and years of before she faced what shuri has to face already. i believe shuri is fit to be a great, powerful, and compassionate leader, and she will take on that responsibility as well in due time. meanwhile m'baku is perfect to be wakanda's king, he is similarly strong and kind, he offered help to the queen when she asked, he mentored shuri like his own little sister but followed the black panther into war when she asked without question. he'll keep the throne warmed up for shuri until she decides she's ready to take her rightful position as queen of wakanda.

Okay so I’ve gotten this ask a few times before by other people lol. But I’m really only going to do a few that I really like and talk to on here.

I honestly don’t really remember why I followed Izzy. I think it might have been her analysis on st and everything. Her moodboards are amazing and her fanfics are incredible. Izzy is really talented and she’s just amazing. Izzy is also the person that I talk to constantly on tumblr and we just have the best time talking to each other. And also we just come up with amazing ideas! And we legit write so many paragraphs to one another that at this point we probs have created a whole novel lol. Izzy has been the person that I really go to talk about anything really. And if we disagree about something (which is rarely but yeah) we always talk it out and everything. And it’s just so nice to have Izzy as my bestie!

I really don’t know what made me start following Jen. But I love Jen’s analysis of the show and especially Steve. Like Jen just gets Steve so much and I love it so much. OKAY SO i feel like eddie would absolutely love bands/artists like mcr, fall out boy, arctic monkeys, the strokes, muse, avenged sevenfold, greta van fleet, rob zombie, guns n roses , system of a down , paramore, blink-182, etc.

he would also love grunge and ‘90s rock a lot. he’d probably listen to nirvana, hole, pearl jam , the smashing pumpkins (particularly the entire siamese dream album, it’s in his top 5 favorite albums), soundgarden, alice in chains , foo fighters, green day, nine inch nails, red hot chili peppers , radiohead, etc.

bonus! his favorite songs from some of those bands: welcome to the black parade by mcr, closer by nine inch nails, hummer by the smashing pumpkins, come as you are by nirvana, celebrity skin by hole, and basket case by green day.
