Thinking about Biker James Potter... him and Sirius would be really into motorcycles and i can totally see them being besties who post abt their bikes like they're actual ppl.

Regulus is so fucked. Not only is the handsome stranger even hotter now that he's facing them, big brown doe eyes looking at Regulus with curiosity and, maybe, interest? shit. would YOU be interested in a Mists-based GW2 roleplay guild that uses a lore compliant multiverse system to allow canon, canon-adjacent, lore-breaking, and otherwise 'contradictory' muses to coexist in the same setting?

simply put: every writer's cast would be set in their own self-contained universe. as such, everyone could bring whatever muses they want with their own personal headcanons, and no one could dictate what is or isn't canon for anyone else. so long as your muses are GW2-based, you're good to go! bring your Commanders, bring your canon-divergent OCs, bring your canon muses-- and yes, even the ones that are 'supposed' to be dead. who can say what might have happened in a strange world far across the Mists, after all?

neutral hubs and in-character safety guardrails would be in place to keep all muses on a relatively even playing field regardless of their power, history, and prestige, too. play hardball if you like, but it might not end quite the way you'd hope. the main rule would be to maintain good OOC etiquette at all times: no godmodding, no metagaming, no theft, don't blend IC and OOC, and so-on.

(Not my best work but I decided to make a proper ‘thank you’ art last minute, sorry it took so long) *Now I’ll give a full explanation (of what I’m generally thinking about saying in class) under the cut. also my pictures aren’t updated BUT they are very similar to the final product (my professor let me do some proofreading cause she’s gonna use my slides for examples)

So the summarized version of my case (for all who forgot) is that on a school day afternoon Haruaki had gotten jumped on the academy’s roof while getting a package for the Principal. The crime scene was covered in feathers, papers that turned out to be photos of the main suspect, an empty box, and a sentient potted plant. After our favorite suspicious tengu was reported to be flying nearby and bragging about getting an “ultimate score”, Ranmaru Karasuma was taken into custody for this.

Term explanations (updated version)

Ranmaru is high in practical intelligence. This type of intelligence means that he is able to adapt and manipulate his environment to his benefits. An example of this is when in Chapter 101 when he tells Haruaki to pretend to be his ancestor that he happens to look exactly like to manipulate ranmaru’s ex coworker, Byakko, into helping them fix a disastrous issue. This works since Byakko has a deep fanatic love for Haruaki’s ancestor. This shows that he isn’t above using people’s weaknesses and to get them to do what he wants. Knowing this, ranmaru can easily manipulate Haruaki into letting his guard down with what he already knows about him, the fact that Haruaki has a hyperfixation about sailor uniforms.

Ranmaru karasuma has an avoidant attachment style. This style of attachment is where the individual is distant, blames others for their mistakes, is unwilling to show their feelings, and has more positive views on themselves than others. He shows this attachment style in chapter 108. During a misunderstanding between him and the principal. his first response, after revealing one of his crimes, was to run away and blame the principal for not understanding him.

An even better example chapter 93, where he shows that not only does he physically but also emotionally distance himself from others. It is seen that after committing a crime that even the heavens could not ignore,he not only kept the information that he would be punished from the principal, but also coldly pushed him away. He even cracked one last joke before he got graphically punished, not even showing the audience his true thoughts and feelings. In this same chapter, we can see that he didn’t try to reach out to the Principal after his punishment, with their first meeting after the incident being unexpected, as if he was avoiding him on purpose. Because ranmaru is distant and unwilling to show his emotions and thoughts, the possibility of him doing something like stealing from the person he is closest to , the principal, instead of asking, means that he is likely the culprit. 

Ranmaru is low in agreeableness. This means that he can be selfish, uncaring and critical of those around him, and rather unkind. Ranmaru usually steals from the people around him, justifying it by putting the blame onto the victims. He also bad mouths those close to him to people who don’t need to know. Towards most people, in most situations, he only show interest and kindness if he can use them for his own gain, such as getting money from or scrounging off of them. This makes him very likely to have committed the crime of stealing from the principal.

Big thanks to all of you who had obviously thought really hard about this! And now I’ll explain how it is supposed to be done in my class.

We (my class) were supposed to use of preexisting fictional character’s psychological traits (as shown below) to use as evidence for their verdicts, and as time had went on all of his traits didn’t really…help his innocent case. Like a lot of examples that I was able to use only proved that he was guilty. And all of my observations (or at least the traits we could choose from to explain) were really making him come off as villainess. So I made it so that he was guilty (originally I wanted to trick my class into thinking he was guilty only for him to be innocent) cause I literally couldn’t defend him.

Me: I’m gonna make you innocent! Ranmaru: Good luck with that.

TLDR - Ranmaru’s traits and personality didn’t give me a good defense for him so I made him guilty…probably should’ve seen this coming since in his literal first introduction he called himself a villain but still

#cats #(medical stuff mention for tags) #poasting confortable image of boye for peace and serenity and such forthe #I have little weird episodes sometimes where I get shaky (but like violently like 'would spill a drink if you were holding it beacuse #your hands are moving so much' type shaky) and weird and sick feeling but usually it passes in an hour or less. but last night I just #literally couldnt sleep I was shaking so much and my heartrate was up a ton and wouldn't go down even after like 6 hours plus super nausea #so I went to the hospital and now shall wear a heart monitor for a week. which hopefully it's just some weird drastic low blood sugar #event or something and there's nothing actually going on. ekg + ct scan for blod clots + virus panel + almost all of the blood work seems #normal so... aa....... #Though me being so privacy focused hrggh... I basically have a constantly bluetooth connected device around me #since the monitor comes with a cell phone that is constantly transmitting data to the place. which they said they'll call you #if they see anything weird which is also scary. random phone calls... but definitely better than letting an issue go unadressed lol #the phone is also not meant to be more than 10 feet away from the monitor at any time so I put on this old tactical fishing #vest thing thats like navy green with 100 pockets and im just using one of the giant pocketson the side as a phone holder #my enormous silly vest just to keep one little phone #ANYWAY... because I got up early the morning before and didn't sleep at all and spent nearly all day in waiting rooms and such #I have been awake for like 32 hours striaght. which I'm sure also does not help with an elevated heartrate lol #feeling shrimp emotions or whatever people talk about unlocking at a certain level of stress and sleep deprivation #and also no food or water. after a while they brought me like 3 saltines and some ice water but I basically also haven't eaten since 3am #last night and it's 2pm now.. #thus............ bapy............. baby boye....... he will help ease all ailments with his baby powers... #And no I dont drink energy drinks or anything with caffiene really I'm afraid of all substances on the planet essentially #My body just likes to become shaky and weird randomly even when I'm not conciously anxious about anything/have had no caffiene/etc #and I guess I'm always more nervous about getting anything heart related checked out because of my arm/shoulder/chest area injury stuff #... i literally have constant chest pain all the time. it moves around but i nearly always have some sort of pain or pressure in my chest #so when people are like 'oh well a little weird heartrate is fine but watch out if you have pain!' it's like... i always do lol.. how am I #supposed to tell the Bad Pain apart from the Always Pain when the descriptions of Bad Pain are very very similar #AAAANYway.... hrghh... i wanted to be very productive and finally post drafts and wrok on things today. but alas.. #I can at least post small image of soft boye.. though he recently got into stuff in the bathroom whilst left #alone and knocked things into the toilet.. The colors of the copper on blackberry dye seem to have shifted from maroon to a very rich milk chocolate brown--which I will hardly complain about, since that's a hard brown to get. I do hope I get something more permanently reddish/purplish with alum--that's what I'll try next. I'm just waiting for the 9 pounds of raw fleece to arrive.

Last night I carded a lot of that blackberry dyed fleece and then put it on the blending board with about half of the white (which was the previous distaff dressing) as a little stripe to one side. Idk, just curious how it'll turn out and seemed more interesting to spin that way. Carding first definitely helps with consistency--both colors were willowed first and put on the blending board, but only the brown was carded as well, and it is much easier to keep smooth and least kind of even.

The one improvement of this phone camera over my old one is that it has a timer setting, so I can actually show where my hands normally are (sometimes anyway). Fairly comfortable although my distaff hand is starting to cramp. Might just be one of those days or might be too heavy for me, but the shape at least is good.

You can probably see that the white is still all over the place, but the brown is pretty even, just with lumps still on occasion. Also, the new height of this spindle means it's perfect for lap spinning rather than impossible to lap spin with, so I'm very happy about that.

Just making a general post real quick in response to an ask.

When I say I'm anti-ai I mean I'm against any sort of AI that steals from others or would otherwise be used to put people out of a job. I don't feel like having an elaborate conversation about the positives and negatives of AI and all that, so I'll state this as plainly as possible.

I don't like AI art. I don't like AI voice impersonations. I don't like any sort of AI that has to steal stuff from people without their consent in order to function. That is literally it.

I'm not against ALL AI. I don't think people that are okay with AI in general should be burned at the stake or something. I'm just an artist and writer that doesn't like AI being used in CREATIVE SPACES. That's it.

I didn't think I would have to clarify this but, here you go, for anyone that was bothered.
