Previous Chapter

Steve is upstairs working on a exfil plan for two shadows im Germany when he is called down the T.O.R.s (tactical observation rooms)

because a team clearing out a drug trafficking ring location, who have started to dabble in other Steves, found something he needs to needs to see - a phrase Steve rolled his eyes at. Steve throws down his pencil in a noise and huffy as he goes into the roof. Workers hand him an earned as he walks in.

But all he see is walls.

"This is what I'm called down for? Dirty walls?" He thinks, annoyed because there are two agents in trouble that need exfil yesterday and hes looking at walls for what? To decide what to repaint them?

In fact that's what thought. Exactly what he thought.

"He's here show us."

It takes Steve a second to figure out what they're showing him. Ok an iv connected to a body he doesn't-the face he recognizes the dirty grayed face. He swallow hard. Its been a year but It was her face, slightly skinner a malnourished faced barely clothed . Steve stopped paying attention to what they were saying but he heard "drug overdose"

"What?"

"Looks like a drug overdose sir. Probably a day or two ago. If it wasn't-"

"For the side mission I sent you on she'd be alive. If I didn't stop looking."

Steve shot up in bed covered in sweat. Panting he's had that nightmare ever since Hayden came to say you were missing. They only got worse after the restraining order when he knew he wouldn't be able to help her the way she helped him at night and he longed for nothing more than to just hold her.

Then there were others where they're too early by a day and you get put somewhere else until they're gone and he sees you as you see the quinn jett flying away above you. Cursing Steve, hating him because you think they aren't looking for you because you think Steve replaced you the one thought that Steve just has through is whole in is that he is afraid you thinknhe sees yiu like garbage, he's made you believeyou were gun bendable disposable always another peice on the side and that HE madeyou give up because his treatment. He knew it and it killed him Because he knew what you knew if he was looking for you then they would have found you. Other times Steve is walking down the street and passes a crime scene and he sees your face just before they zip up thr body bag, those the worst for him youbwere in the city the whole time. Right under his nose. A few block away and he still lost you forever. Hayden. Well Hayden could be temporary any lover or boyfriend or even husband could be divorxe was easy nowadays but death no one could come back from,, Steve only cheated it because of a technicality with ice. Bucky was cryo-perserved. But you wouldn't be. You'd-he stopped himself to look at the time the precious minutes wasting away. Barely 10 minutes have passed since the last time he looked. He couldn't have even gotten 10 minutes in but the nightmares keep coming you always you turing up somewhere or another his fault. But that's because it is. He knew it he couldn't lie about it to anyone no one could lie about it to him though no one was foolish enough to bring it up not after Steve had all but killed a High up Avenger Agent who said its been too long nd there were agents who needed his help now -she was a lost cause.

He was a lost cause too once but he had 70 years to wait you didnt have even a sliver of that.

Chapter 6

So Steve went back to the room that been a second home. No, not a second home, a room because nothing was home without you.

After a little while some.one had called for him to go down to a T.O.R. room he gulped heavily. This was how his nightmare started and he knew you wouldn't be waking him up.

Our guest, fr. Daniel-Maria Klimek, T.O.R., is a Franciscan friar and an Assistant Professor of Theology at Franciscan University of Steubenville. Fr. Klimek received his doctorate in spirituality with distinction from the Catholic University of America, and a Master of Arts in Religion from Yale Divinity School. His book, Medjugorje and the Supernatural, was published by Oxford University Press in 2018 and was the winner of the Faculty Award for Excellence in Scholarship. In addition to teaching and writing, Fr. Daniel-Maria is a spiritual director to many and has helped lead pilgrimages to Assisi, Rome, Medjugorje, and the sacred sites of Poland. He hosts the show "Living the Message" on MaryTV. Father Klimek shared the story of his life, intellectual and spiritual journey, including decision to pursue priestly vocation. He elaborates on his Marian devotion and why Our Lady is important in the life of the Church. He shares results of his research on the apparitions in Medjugorje, presents his explanation of the controversies around apparitions in Medjugorje. Fr Klimek also addresses the question of Catholics engagement in political life in US and presents his views of US Supreme Court battles with regard to discrimination of Catholics in public square in US like in case of Amy Barrets, finally approved as a judge of US Supreme Court, and others. He answers the question whether a candidate who promotes social justice and reject Catholic moral teaching on abortion, contraception and transgender issues could be a good candidate for voters who seriously take their faith and Church teaching (in the context of Vatical doctrinal note of 2002 prepared by Congregation for Doctrine of Faith on some questions regarding The Participation of Catholics in Political Life

i suppose at times zhongli does go quite overboard. no matter what power they have over you or the whole entire world, the one truly in power is you. you could have the world of teyvat destroyed in a matter of minutes if it was your wish.

zhongli is strong and can endure much of your insults or punishments. he will take them all with no question. but there is a point, when you give him no eye whatsoever, he beg and begs, this is where you’ll see him on his knees on a daily occurrence.

this is where you can get what you want no matter what you want. zhongli is basically a puppy infront of you…. waiting for a drop of attention. oh but don’t break him to much, stone that has been cracked is quite difficult to repair….

venti absolutely knows when he has pushed to far, which is when he starts profusely apologizing out of fear and regret.

the fear that you’ll throw him out, never pay any need of attention to him. all of those things will shatter his core. he can’t, its killing him inside, he’s like a trapped bird in a cage with no right way out. he will do absolute everything to appease you.

sometimes it’s kind’ve cute though. when his annoying demeanor turns into a hurt puppy against his god.

venti hates the pain. physical punishments make him shrivel up in distress. so a piece of advice. unless you want a clingy bard following you around begging for forgiveness stay away from the physical punishments. its also much better to just ask him to be clingy if your into the that stuff.

“i’ll do anything! anything!!”

baal’s fantasy of spending an eternity of you is shaken by the fact she did something wrong to be punished.

she’s in fear that she has made a mistake and one of the biggest mistake she made was the vision hunt decree. the punishments were harsh but justified. it made her learn to keep her place in your domain.

baal is probably the most fragile out of the three, immediately offering up her own nation to make you haply with her. afterall who needs a nation anyways?

punishments would range from lack of physical touch to complete isolation, but it’s different. she has to think about you might hating her for the rest of her life. an eternity.

during those times though, she thinks if eternity is really what she wants, but of course, she will be running back to you right when she has the chance.

an angst and fluff prompt in one day!! yayy!!! im glad i was able to complete this! -12:16am!

STEUBENVILLE — Urban Mission Ministries used Tuesday to celebrate an open house, ribbon-cutting and reception of Martha Manor’s new chapter as an emergency and transitional shelter for women and children.

But it also was cause on International Women’s Day to single out local women for their impact on the mission and community and to touch on how partner agencies help area women break out of the cycle of poverty, homelessness, addiction and domestic violence situations.

The morning event generated a handsome turnout to the facility at 408 N. Fifth St. where visitors enjoyed tours, camaraderie, refreshments and a formal welcome from Cynthia Lytle, the mission’s director of strategic partnerships and community engagement.

“Words cannot fully describe how special this day is for the Urban Mission, for our housing and homeless leadership team and staff, for our community and, most importantly, for the women and children who will be served through Martha Manor,” Lytle said.

“We want to take this opportunity to not only officially open Martha Manor as an emergency shelter for women in the community but also to emphasize the importance of investing in women,” she added.

Lytle explained that International Women’s Day on March 8 celebrates the cultural, political and socioeconomic achievements of women and girls across the globe.

“When the question was raised what day should mark the grand opening of our new women’s shelter, we knew the answer right away, that it must take place on International Women’s Day,” she said.

Key speakers took a moment to acknowledge “incredibly special women who have impacted us and our community.”

The Rev. Ashley Steele, the mission’s executive director, acknowledged her mother, Kathy Barker, for her investment of love and care and read an inscription on her necklace — “Here’s to strong women, may we know them and may we raise them.”

She expressed appreciation to clergy representatives and T.O.R. Franciscan sisters in attendance as well as city leaders, members of the mission’s board of directors and heads of agencies such as the Ohio Valley Health Center with an official room now at the shelter.

“They have been with us from the very beginning and already are providing services at our men’s shelter and will have a significant place here,” Steele said.

Recognition also was given to representatives and board members of the Martha Manor as it was in its history of caring for elderly women in the community.

“You all are here because you play such a genuine role in the lives of women, and I thank you so much,” Steele said.

Jodie Feezle, the mission’s emergency services director who oversees its shelters, thanked all involved in the mission’s work.

“You guys are part of the Urban Mission community, and as we all know, it takes a community to do anything,” Feezle told the audience. “Thank you for your vision and dedication moving forward to help transform this site and this building into a transformational space for all who enter. Your support has been overwhelming and has demonstrated the strength of our community.”

Martha Manor’s history dates back to a different name and location beginning as the Jefferson County Home for Aged Women incorporated in November 1911. Contributions made the purchase of a home on Wellesley Avenue possible where seven residents lived, starting in 1924.

The migration to downtown Steubenville came three years later when the sons of Martha Cochran McConville purchased the McConville homestead at public auction in 1927 and donated it to the board of trustees of the Jefferson County Home for Aged Women as a memorial to their mother. The home was to be known as the Martha Cochran McConville Memorial Home for Aged Women of Jefferson County and ultimately became Martha Manor, an assisted living facility.

In August, Martha Manor’s board voted to close the nonprofit effective Oct. 31, a move attributed to a combination of reasons, including low client numbers, an inability to recruit new residents in light of the pandemic and the fact that residency there was a private-pay arrangement.

The decision to close, however, created a new one to be made — giving the building, contents and all, to a new owner, not selling it. Urban Mission got the board’s vote for ownership.

Remember now, that more than 75 per cent of children born in Antigua and Barbuda, were born outside of marriage. When Nellie Robinson opened her school, and opened it to children whose parents were not married, she not only challenged the colonial cultural history of Antigua and Barbuda, she set about to transform it. She compelled, by force of example, the two leading schools in Antigua, the AGS and the AGHS, to admit children of unmarried parents, and so opened secondary education to all. Auchinleck (Pronounced O-Fleck) would build classrooms at the Antigua Grammar School, in the 40's which would expand the Grammar School from 60 students after 60 years of existence, to four and five times 60! To eliminate Nellie Robinson's profound influence on the Auchinleck development is to be short-sighted in the extreme, if not downright misogynist. Nothing has altered the cultural landscape of Antigua and Barbuda, as did the existence of the T.O.R. Memorial High School. I need only remind that Nellie Robinson served on the Water Preservation Committee since 1912, and the records show that she was relentless, in urging the expansion of pipe-borne water since 1924. She had a belief in personal hygiene as the motor of self and social development which was exceptional. Incidentally too, she led the first Arts and Cultural Committee established here, resigning from the leadership because her role as an actor, she felt, conflicted with that leadership. Her sense of ethics, personal and public was as profound as it was deep. It is still possible to distinguish a "Miss Robinson School" boy or girl, by the high quality of their behaviour. I am not done with Nellie Robinson, at least, not yet. In 1926 the Ernestine Stephens High School was founded. In 1930 Agatha E. Goodwin founded the Faith and Hope High School. In 1939 Hilda Davis founded that pillar of social and cultural life in Antigua, the Foundation Mixed School. In 1946, Mildred Richards founded the St. Mildred School, and in 1951, Ms Hill, founded the Miss Hill School Secondary. And I cannot now remember when Ms Walters School started, or Ms Ross, or Teacher Merle's School. The point though ought to be clear. All of these women committed to education and therefore culture, followed where Ms Nellie Robinson had trail blazer.

Hay una promesa que dice que la familia franciscana nunca desaparecerá y que si no quedaran hermanos San Francisco los hará nacer. Nuestra misión es encontrarlos a todos. Ayer encontramos a otro que venía de Valencia se puso muy contento cuando le dijimos que tenemos el retiro de 6/7/8 diciembre en un Monasterio muy chulo de Valencia.
