Not replacing anyone! Just had some long term partners from years ago move on and I'd like to find some new ones

I like to build plots collaboratively from a starting idea with my rp partners, I roleplay in Discord dms but I prefer to chat a bit here on tumblr and make sure we click and work out a couple plot ideas before I give you my discord.

Mostly interested in platonic roleplays as of now and I don't have any plots in mind, but we could come up with something together and fandom wise I've been craving some roleplay in either:

I had enough interactions on main that i decided it would be nicer to my followers if I made a blog for rp. consider this the same as interacting with my main. and you don't need to know anything about subnautica! ryley is just Here and he's not very brave about it.

Alright. Hey everyone. I guess I owe you a real explanation. So I'm Ryley, I'm from... some other dimension. Has anyone named alternate realities? I dunno. Anyway, a friend of mine (in another dimension. confusing I know) made a stable collider and then duplicated it so other versions of us could hang out with each other. It's a pretty sweet deal.

I was trying to go home from visiting one of the known dimensions and I fucked it up. I don't know how. But now my collider/wormhole maker/whatever Viktor is calling them is broken and I'm clueless on how to fix it.

I think I got some kind of Blacklight from Ryan. We're uh... familiar. With each other. Ahem. Anyway, I'm not really sure what it's doing to me aside from turning me into a squid for day. Which leads me to the next thing.

I have a different disease already. Well, had, actually. It's called Kharaa. I'm not sure where it originated but it's highly contagious through water. So guess where I caught it!! On an ocean planet! I crash landed there, just my luck. I was able to cure myself and I keep a sample of Enzyme 42 on me at all times.

To say Kharaa affected me is an understatement. I'm physically stronger and I think I can partially breathe underwater. Not sure how Blacklight is gonna affect that lol. I think the mutations are at war in here. It's uh, it's not pleasant. I'll probably document what's going on with my body as I post. Robin will want to read it when I get home for sure.

So... that's basically it. Hi to everyone I've already befriended! I'll be here for the long term it seems like.

Yeah, it's mine! Probably should've specified in the post LOL. IIRC that particular painting was inspired at least vibe-wise by the arctic spires and crystal cave biomes from subnautica below zero because I was obsessed with it during quarantine- I started sketching in class and then it turned out a lot better than I expected and I had to finish it instead of paying attention to the professor, it's still one of my favorite paintings I've done even 2 years later I'm really proud of it :3c

And like, 8 years is a long time, sure, and I'm not saying I didn't put a lot of dedicated work in to be able to make art like that, but those 8 years will pass anyway.

If you just type words into an AI art generator, those 8 years will pass and you will still not know how to draw.

If you start doodling crappy anime wolves in your spare time now, in 8 years you'll be, at minimum, pretty good at drawing anime wolves, which is better than not being good at drawing anime wolves. And even if you're still not good at drawing anime wolves, at least u had fun. So if you're reading this, this is your sign from God to start drawing furries poorly

And do the same thing but with roleplaying if u wanna get good at writing btw. Everything I know about writing I learned in the trenches of warriors cats roleplay forums

While she's Star Wars Based, don’t sweat it if you don’t know the other stuff. If your fandom/verse has a way in, I can finagle her into all sorts of place (she's literally an cosmic horror at heart).

That ‘selective’ part comes into play. I have every right to not follow someone, decline a roleplay, just as you do. Just be polite and respectful.

Crossover/AU/Multiverse/Self Insert friendly. Not your thing, then feel free to not follow.

There will be casual mentions of recreational drug use, more often than not mentions of alcohol than drugs, but will be tagged upon request. Other possible triggers are her fatalistic humor.

IN CHARACTER:

Compatible Fandoms (ie I am Familiar with): Star Wars, Mass Effect, Borderlands, Alien/Predator, Dune, The Outer Worlds, Subnautica, No Man's Sky, Galaktikon, RaM, H2G2, and more!

Kar for the most part, is literally the Force. In a body. Raised by mortals, so she thought she was. And spent most of her life just vaguely gesturing and just going with "humanoid." Force sensitive characters might be able to sense her, but she can mask it.

As for appearance, unless you’re really looking you might notice the fangs. And for the most part, assume she’s wearing her signature sunglasses covering her eyes since those rarely are taken off in public.

While not usually brought up, but Kar has attempted to end her life and self-harmed. Nowadays it’s usually just masked with fatalistic humor, recreational drug use, and lots of drinking.

SHIPPING:

Shipping is welcomed and willing to discuss the possibility, but I leave the rest to chemistry and just how we as writers write. Kar is into male muses, and will be polite about turning other people down, unless one doesn’t take the hint.

That being said, don’t ask to ship with me and just…drop off. I believe in mutual enthusiasm. If you're no longer interested, just communicate.

This blog is multiship, meaning each relationship is treated as its own separate place in the multiverse unless discussed and agreed upon.

Kar can be polifidelitous. She’s okay with having multiple partners and those partners having partners if your character is cool with it. But she can be selectively monogamous in your little bubble.

NSFW may be on here, or I might do it over discord. I'm playing it by vibes. As I don't really have any established romantic stuff since rebooting, I can't say with any certainty.

Projects I'm working on or am actively planning:

Red red red, why am I not dead? ch.7 (Carrion)

Started

Finished the first chunk of the chapter (everything leading up to perspective change). Having some difficulties deciding if I should scrap some scenes that were supposed to happen before the end of chapter 6 (changed order for better pacing), or try to rework them into it. Also dealing with the fact I've had to go wildly "off-script" since some stuff the original to doesn't fit with the fic retelling/doesn't make sense imo.

Out of your depth (Subnautica)

At least 70% done

Same Subnautica fanfic I was working on before, just changed the title. Old concept that's been a brainworm for years, that I've been slowly chipping away at. Nicknaming it the Transfuser AU. Getting close to the end of fic, just currently trying to write a high action scene while making sure what happens both makes sense and is easy for the reader to follow.

Accidentally forgot this existed (thanks ADHD, very cool) until someone recently left a comment on it. Currently trying to figure out the pacing for the next chapter (how much should happen without ruining the pacing or making it boring), as well as planning how to pace the rest of the fic. (I am not the best at pacing long fics/not very good at slow builds so please pray for me 😭)

Also accidentally forgot this existed (thanks ADHD, very cool). Sequel to Keep your friends close, and your demons closer. Got stuck forever ago and then unintentionally abandoned it. Despite not leaving any notes to self, managed to recall a bunch of my plans while ranting to friends about having not left notes for future me. Replaying/rewatching bits of the game to try and make sure I don't make them ooc before I start writing again.

The Graveyard Shift ch.3 (FNAF)

Still in editing/art piece not started

Massive roleplay I did with my partner being converted into a fanfic. While everything is technically already written, still in the process of editing the next chapter-sized chunk into fanfic material. Currently dealing with rewriting a scene that is inconsistent with things later established in the story, and with it also trying to fix a plothole that comes up multiple times throughout the story.

One of the fics from the poll of Pizza Tower fic ideas (Peppino loses the boss battle chase and gets adopted by the clones). Probably the most likely to be finished out of the remaining 3, but I've put it on the backburner in favor of working on the above.

Another more dark leaning fic (like Peppino's Day Off, but probably darker?). Without spoiling too much, Fake is locked in their boss room, and has been horribly mistreated. Peppino enters to retrieve the key, but is then locked inside until he finds said key. Peppino is forced to deal with the mistreated Fake whether he wants to or not, trapped inside with them. Also on backburner in favor of working on above fics.

Introduction

It has come to my attention that a lot of people make introduction posts on their blogs, so I've decided to create one!

I'm an artist and a writer. I post whenever I make Toontown related art and I also post my Clash headcanons to my blog.

Can I leave a request?

For headcanons: yes! It's free game. I can't guarantee I can give you an answer, but you can ask me to leave pretty much any HCs as long as it's family friendly.

For art: no. I don't take requests for art; however, I do take commissions. Please click this link for more information, but prices start at $20 and may go as high as $95+ depending on what you want. I also only draw family friendly content.

What's this Playground Swap AU?

This is an AU I created where the 16 managers added in 1.3 are assigned to work in different playgrounds. Some of them even change job titles! If you'd like to read more about it, you can do so here. Please note it will have VERY slow updates but I'm not abandoning it!

What's this ask blog about?

This is just a silly blog for me to roleplay as my OCs on Tumblr and answer questions. If you wanna learn more, you can do that here.

Do you post anything not Toontown related?

Yes, but very rarely. I almost exclusively post things that are somehow related to Toontown. Typically it will be Toontown: Corporate Clash specifically, but sometimes it may be Toontown Rewritten.

Do you write anything besides headcanons?

Yes! I just don't post them on Tumblr- I post my stories to AO3 instead. You can find the link to my AO3 here.

Who's your favorite Cog?

This might be surprising to those of you who know my in-game club that I made is literally called Mouthpiece Admirers, but Cathal is my favorite. I still do stand by my club, though.

Can we meet up in-game on Clash or TTR?

Sure! Just DM me what game, when, and where you'd like to meet and I'll tell you if I can do that or not. Please list all times in that server's timezone {PST for TTR and EST for Clash} to avoid as much confusion as possible. As a general reference, I'm almost always free on weekends for gaming and tend to have restricted availability on weekdays.

How long have you been playing Toontown?

I played TTO when I was a kid, but I never had a membership because I grew up in extreme poverty. I started playing TTR in about 2018, and someone made me give Clash a try in 2020 but even after starting Barnacle Boatyard it didn't really catch on so I uninstalled it. I got bored of TTR in late 2022 and gave Clash another try, and I really liked it afterwards.
