Today I decided to study for my cell biology exam instead of working on my lab reports. I don’t think I’ll have enough time to study as much as I want. Since I have to hand in my lab reports on Wednesday and my test in on Thursday. Which is a lot but I’ll hopefully be fine!

1. Are you named after anyone? Not my name name, but my mom and grandma and I are all the oldest child and either the oldest or the only daugheter, and we all have the same middle name.

2. When was the last time you cried? I think a few weeks ago? Probably crying over my econ homework again.

3. Do you have kids? Way too young, way too single.

4. Do you use sarcasm a lot? Yeah, but then I always worry I offended people.

5. What’s your eye color? Still blue, but they’ve been getting greyer as I’ve been getting older.

6. Scary movie or happy ending? Happy ending

7. Any special talents? I learn song lyrics really stupid fast.

8. Where were you born? Utah, USA, babey! gotta love that air pollution.

9. What are your hobbies? I’m on my school’s international folk dance team, I read a lot, I play piano and like video games, and I write but I can’t even say I like,,, write write bc I don’t do like full formatted stories or books or anything, I just play a lot of Dungeons and Dragons and I’m writing my own campaign setting.

10. Do you have any pets? I wish.

11. What sports do you play/have you played? I don’t play sports, per se, but I’ve been dancing for sixteen years now. I did mostly ballet, but I did a few years of jazz in there and did five years of tap along with it too. Now I’m in college, I’m mostly just doing percussion and international styles.

12. How tall are you? 5′10″ / 178 centimeters. Finding clothes is. Rough. And I’m not even that tall.

13. Favorite subject in school? My dance classes, lol. But I really like the nutrition class I’m in, and I’ve always loved history. My world religions class is also really cool.

14. Dream job? Like,,, working part-time at a bakery or smthn? I don’t have a dream career or anything.

15. Why aren’t there 15 real questions? Time is a construct and we’re all tired.

Had an ice coffee with bow tie shaped ice cubes today while I was working on the research plan again. Tomorrow I’ll have a meeting with my lab partner and we’ll finish the first draft. But I didn’t do much today since it’s easter and my grandma had dinner with us.

Sadly the quote can be taken quite literally today, since I live in the Netherlands. There was a shooting/terrorist attack in the city Utrecht today, killing 3. And everything just feels weird and I can’t really think of anything to write.

My heart goes out to all victims and family which are affected by the attack.

Started today in the lab again to prepare some plates for tomorrow. On the way to the lab I updated my bullet journal and worked on some lecture notes. After the lab I had a lecture about new techniques in breast cancer research, which was really interesting.

My lab partners and I worked on our short communication today that we had to write about our results from this semester. The maximum amount of words was only 3000 which is so little and writing something like that with 4 people is hard! But we did it!

For the last few days I worked on my lab reports nonstop and I barely handed them in on time. Immediately after handing them in I started studying for my exam for tomorrow. And even though I’m probably going to fail my exam, I’m still proud of myself. I worked so hard the past few days and did more work than I expected.

It’s Kingsday in the Netherlands today but I had to work. On holidays we get payed 200% and I got a holiday bonus which means I got paid 250% and worked 10 hours! Can’t wait till I get my paycheck

I had my cell biology exam today and it went great! We made a list of questions during one of the lectures and the teacher told us that she would use those. So I just made those at home and learned them since I didn’t have enough time to actually study. And the exam literally had 9 of the questions that we made and I could replicate all the answers. So I was done in like 30 minutes and I’m confident that I’ll get a good grade!

Another day of working on the research plan that we have to hand in on Tuesday. I had a caramel muffin during my break, which I have been eating way to much of. I think I had three in the last week, since those have have been my food fixation.
