Today I’m #thankfuldaily for the people in the world who don’t smash bins over spilling glass and rubbish everywhere and those who take the time to pick up the rubbish and sharp pieces like I had to outside my front door last night. The neighbours had left their recycling out and of course last nights drunken shenanigans left wine bottles smashed across the road and pavement. I picked the bin up and cleared up the glass. Thinking that kids and animals should not have to deal with that. This was @leikolugs after walking along past the river. Happy to swim and walk and run and chase golf balls and birds etc…. About an hour later as we’re walking home I hear a Yelp and see her limping and blood on the floor. Luckily I’m fairly strong and managed to pop her over my shoulder and carry her home. Paw and wound cleaned. Treats given, but one grumpy dog. Please think about keeping your area clean and safe for animals. I’m #thankful and #grateful it wasn’t worse and that I could carry her home.
