I headcanon that Tuvok and T'Pel had a fifth child when Tuvok got home from the delta quadrant. I have zero reasoning for this, I just like it.

When your parents have another child twenty something years after their last one. I drew so much for this bc I actually also toy with this headcanon sometimes and have been wanting to draw this particular comic~! Enough of Janeway getting pregnant, Tuvok is right ther-

7 of 9 is so. She was borg. She still is borg. she went from being many to being horrifically alone and she can never go back. so she tries to find connection through her own humanity. But now all she has to substitute the constant togetherness of the collective is around 150 individuals - all imperfect and disharmonious and alien to her. So alien in fact that connection with them is extremely difficult even though she is now one of them, even though she used to be one of them before being borg and had these connections as an individual but she has now lost the ability to connect in that way and the ability to be part of the collective. so even when surrounded by people she is still achingly lonely. She is borg and she is one. touching and never touched, arent you tired of being nice. dont you just want to go fucking apeshit.

star trek as a series really is just. so good. yeah i've enjoyed some of the new stuff, too (strange new worlds really has the same feel as the early stuff!) but man. the original series was already groundbreaking. the next generation just layered on top of it. i'm working my way through ds9 now and it opens on such a heavy-hitting episode (wow!! trauma!!!!) (also picard is such a beloved character to many and sisko HATES him so politely it's incredible) (like he is certainly justified! but wow!!) and of course voyager was the one i actually watched first + all the way through first (i've since watched all of tng) but yeah. i really do think tng is probably the best one to start with if you haven't watched star trek before. and of course each one is a product of its time and so some of it is campy or not how we see the world today but. it's sooo good. so good.

IS THE MILKY WAY MOVING??
Blog#351
Wednesday, November 22nd, 2023
Welcome back,
As we delve deeper into the cosmic dance of celestial bodies, the mind-boggling journey continues. Picture this: as Earth spins on its axis at approximately a thousand miles per hour, and hurtles through space in orbit around the Sun at a mind-bending 67,000 miles per hour, we find ourselves part of a much grander performance within the Milky Way.
Tumblr media
The Milky Way, our spiral-shaped home in the universe, is not simply a static backdrop. No, it's a galactic city in motion. Together with the Sun and the entire solar system, we form a celestial cavalcade, orbiting the center of the Milky Way at a staggering 140 miles per second. It's a cosmic waltz, and despite the breakneck speed, a full orbit takes around 200 million years, emphasizing the sheer vastness of our stellar neighborhood.
Tumblr media
But wait, there's more. The Milky Way, in all its splendor, is not stationary either. It's on the move through the cosmic seas of intergalactic space. Our galaxy is part of the Local Group, a gathering of galaxies on a journey toward the center of our cluster at a comparatively leisurely 25 miles per second.
If the sheer scale of our local cosmic voyage hasn't left you dizzy, brace yourself for the final leg of our astronomical adventure.
Tumblr media
Not only are we spinning, orbiting, and cruising through the Milky Way, but we, along with our cosmic companions in the Local Group, are hurtling at a jaw-dropping 375 miles per second toward the Virgo Cluster. This colossal collection of galaxies, situated a mind-blowing 45 million light-years away, adds an astonishing layer to our celestial expedition.
Tumblr media
In the grand tapestry of the cosmos, our earthly existence is a mesmerizing part of an intricate, ever-changing cosmic ballet. The speeds and scales involved defy our everyday perceptions, inviting us to contemplate the awe-inspiring wonders of the universe in which we reside.

CALLING ALL QCARDERS
Good evening, fellow members of the USS Qcard
Today, I come to you all with a proposal
Few days ago, I saw a post saying that Qcard needs a 400k fic wrote in their name, but no one was able to do it by themselves
So, my proposal is simple
Why don’t we all work on a Qcard fic together? I know the initial idea sounds really bad, could go horribly wrong in so many different ways and is quite intimidating. I know and appreciate this
But think about it
If doing it together, the possibilities could be endless. We could bring strange new worlds, new voyages, next generations, make countless discoveries and even bring in our own OC’s
The way I think this would work is that we’d have to map it all out first, and we could all write our own chapters, characters, encounters etc etc
Ofc, no one is obligated to doing this, shan’t be offended if anyone turns around and claims that this is the worst idea ever known to mankind
I just think that if we put the collective Qcard minds together, something good could come from it
Anyone willing to do this?
@stellarred @adumpofdumbstuff @dustydahorse @susulbr @slashere @porgthespacepenguin @thelog33 @itsybitsyb0nes @yourbuerokrat2
I’m quite tired so I’ve probably forgotten to tag loads of people but you’re all the ones that jump immediately to mind. PLEASE tag more Qcarders if you think they’ll want to partake
And uh yeah

a quick look back at march and april 2024
i didn't initially intend to combine these into a single post, but "me remembering write my march post" coincided with "me being busy with work and watching mania weekend shows," so i figured it'd be best to wait until all that was done with so there would be plenty to sift through. with that established, let's get started!
general overview and numbers
ended up catching 131 matches during these past two months (51 in march, 80 in april), which is quite a lot for me! despite this, i still feel woefully behind on everything; i've been trying to keep up with a lot, but i don't enjoy half-watching things and i only have so much brainspace for wrestling. as a result, it's been a breadth-not-depth kind of spring.
tjpw came in second for "promotions i caught the most of," which i'm hoping to continue! most of my prior teej viewing has been of isolated individual matches, so it's been nice getting a more holistic view of the promotion. first place was noah—those monday magic shows scratch some kind of itch for me, even if a lot of the cards aren't that different from your normal sunny voyage fare
most appearances throughout the month(s)
if you're exclusively counting matches that occurred in the last two months, yuma anzai comes in at #1 with 6 appearances—i've been trying to keep up with his champion carnival run, with the keyword being "try" since i'm terrible at watching tournaments. expanding that to matches that were viewed during the past few months, katsuhiko nakajima's at #1 at 12 appearances, making him the Spreadsheet Champ of the Month(s). check out his match vs daiki inaba and the preview tag before it from his wrestle-1 run, they're fun.
anyway, there doesn't seem to be an up-to-date fullbody render for him and i'm not grabbing a screenshot just for my dumb photoshop bit, so simply imagine it in your mind's eye.
speaking of anzai and nakajima,
the part where i mumble about matches in no particular order
yuma anzai vs katsuhiko nakajima (ajpw, march 30th)
i have a habit of pausing matches to go and take a break less than a minute before the ending. just poor timing on my part. paused this match about 15 seconds before the finish, got up to walk around and stretch, and mentally drafted a whole thing about how, even though anzai definitely wasn't going to win, this was a great showing from him and did a good job making the case for him as a future triple crown champ. then i unpaused and watched those fifteen seconds. immediate egg on my face. i'm pretty excited for anzai, though! it's nice seeing promotions really get behind their young talent.
hype!2 (tjpw, april 19th)
i'm putting the whole show down, seeing as there's only one "traditional" wrestling match and it would feel strange to excise it from the whole performance. i loved the first hype and was looking forward to this; while i think you can feel that a lot of the show had to be changed last-minute in the final product, i still had a pretty good time with it. i'm very fond of wrestling shows that skew closer to being plays, they're something i want to dig further into when time allows.
athena vs hikaru shida (roh, april 5th)
while i enjoyed keeping up with mania weekend, having that much wrestling shoved into my brain in such a short time period meant that most of the matches have melted together in my memory. this one is one of the few that stand out. incredible work from two stellar performers. i don't like rewatching things often, but i'm due for a rewatch.
yamato vs mike santana (etu/dragongate, april 6th)
one of the other mania standouts for me. i don't have much to say about it—i don't think it's anything crazy—but it ended up really working for me
shunma katsumata vs hideki okatani (ddt, march 16th)
violent, emotional affair. thoroughly enjoyed the last-minute-high-school-production-of-tarzan levels of set dressing. i think shunma and okatani are kind of a golden combo—i so desperately wish that they could have a singles match without one of them getting injured. at least i'll always have the image of the plush snake wrapped in barbed wire
Tumblr media
hub vs ryuya matsufusa (osaka pro, april 14th) and ryu fuda vs masaaki mochizuki (dragongate, march 6th)
i decided to fold these two together, seeing as they're both young guy vs veteran matches where i went in knowing little-to-nothing about said young guys (i only knew matsufusa by name beforehand and i believe fuda's been injured for most of my dragongate viewing) and came out caring a lot about them. while i can be a little take-it-or-leave-it about english commentary depending on the promotion, jae does an excellent job breaking down who fuda is, what his struggles have been, and how said struggles play into this particular matchup. good stuff. i went into the hub vs matsufusa match with almost no context and still enjoyed it, but digging around afterwards and learning a bit about matsufusa's history with hub and osaka pro as a whole really added to the whole experience. [guy who needs to cut down on how many promotions he watches voice] maybe i should watch more osaka pro
i'm pretty sure these posts are just me yelling into the void, but if you read this, let me know if there are any matches you particularly enjoyed from this spring! see you next month.

ᯓ★Weaknesses: Clueless about most things, easy to bait through trash cans, stellar jades, any form of monetary gains etc, a bit stupid at times.
*~APPEARANCE.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
— The female Trailblazer, Stelle, takes the resemblance of a human with gray-silvery hair. Stelle, wears a white inner shirt, a long black-sleeved jacket (rolled up), a black tight skirt, and a light blue garter on the left thigh.
Extra info about appearance:
ᯓ★Height: 5’7’’ - 5’8’’
ᯓ★Build: Slender , curvy
ᯓ★Hair: Medium-length gray hair that stops just past her shoulders.
ᯓ★ Eye colour: Golden yellow
*~PERSONALITY.
Tumblr media
ᯓ★Stelle consistently upholds a composed and impartial demeanor, yet occasionally interjects with irrelevant or humorous remarks, even in the face of serious situations. It is implied through March 7th's memories that she doesn’t talk much.
ᯓ★Furthermore, Stelle demonstrates a keen inclination for exploration, actively seeking interaction with a diverse range of objects. This often results in perplexed reactions from their fellow teammates or nearby outsiders. These idiosyncratic behaviors include aimless wandering, an inclination to inspect trash cans, or even pranks like hiding in a closet in Goethe Hotel to scare the room service worker.
ᯓ★When embroiled in combat, however, Stelle’s personality undergoes a notable transformation, revealing an intense and ferocious disposition. It has been noted through her ultimate animations that Stelle seems to be colder and stoic.
*~LORE OF RECEPTACLE X.
Tumblr media
—> A girl who boarded the Astral Express. She chose to travel with the Astral Express to eliminate the dangers posed by the Stellaron.
ᯓ★The Voyage Continues: Character Story 1.
“Stelle doesn’t remember much. She’s not from around here, nor did she come from elsewhere. She’s not really going anywhere— Just then, that indistinct voice whispers into her ear. That sorrowful and tender persuasion, that deceptive goading... The seeds take root. She opens her eyes, and the speaker is no longer there. But there are more and more voices, and they are getting clearer and clearer. Some give easygoing care, some calmly provide advice, some speak firm support, and some gift gentle direction… She sees the silken thread being woven to form tomorrow. A huge beast descends from infinity, Golden pupils stare down from the darkness, and she is no longer abandoned by the past. She will also set upon a long journey, and the thorns she has stepped on have become her path. The train whistles, wishing her a successful journey to the coming future...by her own will.”
ᯓ★Silent Galaxy: Character Story 2.
“She has arrived at the "City of Preservation." Behind the snow curtain, the wind lashes like steel blades, but the kindling burns on. Distant lands won't hear them, and the earth trembles in kind, with only the wailing crowds braving the wind. After facing foreign enemies, the Eternal Freeze, and reality's fissures, a rot begins to fester within the fort. She tries lending a helping hand, but is forsaken. Some once looked down on her and misunderstood her, but still she stood by their side and helped them find their way. More care about her and worry about her. They face their suffering, and find the cure for the distressed. Eventually, they come to her side. In the ice and snow, she is like a fire, protecting the soul of this world...Even though she must scorch herself day and night.”
*~PERSONAL HEADCANONS.
Tumblr media
ᯓ★Stelle is naturally very warm, due to the Stellaron and the fraction of the power received by her from the Aeon of Preservation, Qlipoth during her battle with Cocolia (The previous Supreme Guardian of Belobog). As such, her friends, March 7th (because I also headcanon that March’s body temperature runs colder than the average human because of her being trapped in six-phased ice for a long (?) time.) and Dan Heng, (He is a Vidyadhara. Vidhyadhara=dragon-like species. Dragons are basically reptiles, and reptiles are cold-blooded animals. Also a headcanon btw hehe.) hugged close to her when setting foot upon the cold planet of Jarilo-VI.
ᯓ★Due to the symbiosis between her and the Stellaron, the Stellaron now functions as her heart in a way. Say, if it were forcibly removed, somehow, she would die.
ᯓ★Stelle uses the username “the-coolest-galactic-baseballer” on social media. (This may be updated.)
ᯓ★She is a synthetic human. (Basically something like Xueyi or the 2 million Herta androids present on the space station.)

Happy Anniversary, IDOLiSH7!
Tumblr media
Alright! A bunch of stuff got announced to celebrate the series' 8th anniversary today, so lets break down the most important things regarding our favorite group, TRIGGER!
You've probably heard this stuff already but hey. I do what I want and I'm making this post anyway.
First up, let's get all the smaller 8th Anniversary stuff out of the way! Plenty of stuff has been changed and announced to help bring the series into its latest era, and all of it is very exciting!
Special Anniversary visuals by the series' main character designers have been shared and released!
... Also I feel like it's worth noting that Arina-sensei has made it clear that we've reached TRIGGER's numbers in terms of anniversaries, and that reflects in her art. Meaning, maybe it'll reflect in other things too...?!
The game is hosting weekly free 11-pulls which bring back Heavenly Visitor, Wish Voyage, Kiseki, Music in Your Thoughts, and Light Future cards! On top of that, there's a log-in bonus for nanakores and 80 Stellar Stones in total!
The game has been refreshed with a few new features like notifications on screen when you get a message from an idol/manager, more idol storage, and even special voice lines that play before a live, after an auto live finishes, and if you manage to full-combo the song. The "hey, there's an event going on" home screen line has been replaced, too, thank fuck.
A new Namjatown collab has been announced that covers the idol in glowy clothing!
The official website has been completely overhauled including brand-new bios for the idols!
Now, onto the really fun stuff...
Shuffle Units are back!!
Tumblr media
As part of the yearly anniversary story, we're finally getting Shuffle Units including Re:vale and ZOOL! As of Producer Letter 26, it's been confirmed that these units will be themed and have special songs for each, but the themes haven't been shared yet! We may have to read the two-part story to find out!
Part 1 will release September 5th, and Part 2 will release September 15th! It won't be voiced, though. Voice acting will come at a later date.
Kuji Memorial Video & Cards!
Tumblr media
What's likely the most surprising thing of all for the anniversary is that it's big surprise looks back on all of the dramas IDOLiSH7's cast have starred in over the last seven years - down to releasing an animated memorial video that covers everything from La Danse Macabre to the Last Dimension musical! There's a lot of shots of TRIGGER to spot, so if you haven't seen it yet, go watch it! It's pure emotional eye candy!
On top of that, the yearly revival gacha deals with it, too, featuring special UR cards that focus on specific scenes from Mechanical Lullaby, i7 Police, Hoshimeguri (now known in English as The Stargazer?), Karatoga, La Danse Macabre, Mission (Yamato's movie from Part 3), and BLAST! (Part 5 drama)
The best part is all the old cards, including the same kujis shown here, are in these pulls, too! Best of luck if you try to bring them home!
Producer Letter #26 Takeaways
Tumblr media
As is tradition with i7 anniversaries, there's a new Producer Letter that goes over what the current and future plans for the series are that has a few interesting tidbits fans should be aware of! I'll break it down, but if you can, I suggest reading it in your own time.
The team is still figuring out what exactly comes "beyond the period" in terms of the story, so no updates on that just yet.
They're wanting to do another 16 person live, but they're trying to book a "difficult venue" so many fans can see it. Some fans believe this to be a hint that they're trying to book the Tokyo Dome. 😱 But 16 person live isn't an impossibility!
They've implies that they're working out international distribution and screening for the recent movie Beyond the Period! So sit tight if you haven't gotten a hold of it for yourself yet!
That's about it! Pretty damn big anniversary, isn't it?! Let's enjoy it to the fullest and keep supporting TRIGGER and their friends!!
Happy anniversary!! 🤍💖💙

Magi of the Stellar Republic were integral to interplanetary colonisation, and several of various Patterns were onboard any ship traveling beyond the bounds of the Palatial System in leadership roles. The purpose of Necromancers on these voyages was well obfuscated, but less disguised was the comparatively low number who ever went to space. Generally Necromancers were considered a boon to morale, known for their jovial, artistic temperments - but the majority who went with colony ships were noteworthy for their dourness, their coldness, their defiance of the stereotype of one so near to death that they love life with incredible passion. Even the few good-humoured boneworkers who went out into the black seemed to lose their vigour a couple of lightyears out.
The truth was kept even from most of the other Magi for the sake of everyone's sanity. Training a Necromancer to keep their wits in the void was a difficult and unpredictable process. Who can really understand something of such terrible gravity until they witness it? And who, in knowing, could possibly remain composed?
The first Necromancers who ventured beyond the Palatial System had heard it, eventually. It took time for it to really sink in, like white noise when you've stopped noticing it. At first they thought there was a great silence lying over the whole galaxy, that even the tides of the Sunless Abyss might be subject to the immensity of interstellar distances. But in time, in the right places, the static resolved. A faint but endless chorus. Lamentations cast out across the depths of space like ripples on a black sea. The teeming ghosts of entire civilisations railing against a fate long since fulfilled. "Where," asked the rest of starfaring humanity, bright eyed and eager to make friends, "is everyone else?" "Everyone else," the Necromancers refused to answer, "is already dead."

CALLING ALL STAR WARS FANS:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
🌟 Ahoy, fellow intergalactic wanderers! 🌟
Listen up, because we're about to blast off into a Star Wars extravaganza like no other! That's right, folks: May is right around the corner, and you know what that means: STAR WARS MONTH, BABY! Time to dust off those lightsabers and channel your inner Wookiee roar! 🚀✨
Now, hold onto your R2 units, droids and x-wings, because I've got some stellar news for you all. I'm gearing up to host a cosmic cavalcade of Star Wars themed Dungeons & Dragons adventures on my Discord server throughout the entire month! We're talking small D&D dungeons, epic games, mind-bending challenges, one-shot adventures, and even a full-blown campaign. And hey, if you've got your own original characters (OCs), you're in for a hyperspace treat!
But before we embark on this epic voyage through the stars, let's lay down some ground rules. Buckle up, because we're going full throttle into the Rulebook of the Jedi!
No Binks Allowed: Harassment, racism, homophobia, or any other form of discrimination is about as welcome here as Jar Jar Binks at a Sith convention. Let's keep it classy, folks, or you'll be banished to the swamps of Naboo faster than you can say "Meesa in big doo-doo".
Use the Force and common sense, Not the Dark Side of the Dice: When it comes to decision-making, let's rely on a healthy mix of common sense and Jedi wisdom. No using the Force to steal your fellow players' snacks, and please, for the love of Alderaan, don't try to mind trick your way out of every situation. Play fair, or face the wrath of a thousand Force ghosts (joking, just a very annoyed DM)!
Punch It, Chewie!: This is a celebration of all things Star Wars, so feel free to unleash your inner smuggler and spice things up with some banter, references, and good-natured roasting. Just remember: Han shot first, and if you can't take the heat from a little friendly ribbing, you might want to rethink your allegiance to the Rebellion.
Don't Be a Sarlacc: In other words, don't hog the spotlight! Everyone deserves their moment to shine, so let's share the spotlight like a band of merry Ewoks sharing a roast Porg. And hey, if you find yourself feeling a bit too much like a Sarlacc, maybe it's time to pass the torch to your co-pilots and let them take the helm for a while, or even dm your GM (yours truly).
So, if you're ready to join the Rebel Alliance (or maybe even the dark side – we don't judge), send me a DM or drop a comment below to reserve your spot on the Millennium Falcon of fun! Let's make Star Wars Month one for the holocrons folks, and remember, May the Force be with you, always! ✨🌌
