This was a dream I had. Maybe you can tell me what it means

I recently had surgery, and at the time I came home, I had both my cat and one of my grandma's cats staying with me.

- Within hours of surgery, I wake up from a nap to my cat gently sniffing at my incisions with great alarm.

- I was not allowed to shower the first day after surgery, and the cats, seeing that The Large Cat is not observing its cleaning ritual, decided I must be gravely disabled and compensated by licking all the exposed skin on my arms, face, and legs.

- I currently have to sleep with a pillow over my abdomen because my cat insists on climbing on top of me and covering my incisions with her body while I sleep (which is very sweet but not exactly comfortable without the pillow). She also lays across me facing my bedroom door, presumably on guard for attackers who may try to harm me while I'm sleeping and injured.

That's love. 🐈‍⬛🐈❤️

If some kid is so desperate to be on hormone therapy and their living situation or parents won't help them, their doctor won't help them, their state clinics won't help them, and every legal resource has utterly failed to help them, and they stumble across a handy linked guide of all sorts of resources that could still help them anyways?

FUCKING GOOD.

Trans kids deserve better than what's allowed to be given to them in SO MANY CASES. Fix your hearts.

Another dream comic. Had a dream where I was tied to a chair in a dark room and some hooded figures killed me after I begged for my life—but then I got caught in a time loop and so I kept trying to figure out what I could say to get them to not shoot me but they killed me no matter what I said. Started just shouting random stuff eventually.

Connecting this to the episodes 'Gravity' and 'Body & Soul' in my brain wherein Tom again seems not to respect/understand the concept of doing something (or refraining from doing something) because it's against their principles to do so. I think a lot could have been done with Tom's character because of this, if Voyager's writers were willing to make him more morally gray instead of insisting on him as a Good Guy at the end of the day. In this episode 'Nothing Human'. Tom is arguing that they should use research gained through immoral means to save B'Elanna against B'Elanna's wishes. The Doctor says using the research will save her so Tom says "Then we have to use it." When Chakotay brings up that it's against B'Elanna's wishes he says she's 'obviously' not thinking straight. Tuvok then says it's a logic concern and Tom balks at the thought that this could be true. Later, when Chakotay brings up that using the research is wrong/immoral, Tom accuses him of only saying that bc he 'hates cardassians.' It's notable that Tom doesn't use love or play to compassion to rebut any of these arguments - nor does he really have much an argument of his own. Chakotay & Tuvok have three solid arguments: It's against B'Elanna's wishes - It's morally wrong - It would set a bad precedent, effectively saying "the ends justify the means". Tom doesn't so much as argue against these points as he dismisses them entirely as being stupid, unimportant, or merely a front to disguise a hidden agenda (IE: You just hate Cardassians, B'Elanna's being crazy)
