Crowley's accent in 7x23 is so hot if you know what I mean. Especially the accent he has when he tells Cas he's vital

I also think Crowley looks his absolute best in this episode

Intelligence? His intelligence was so top tier in this episode I want to give it 3 points rather than 1

He knew to have a vial of his blood ready so Dick wouldn't kill him

He knew Cas would be able to see through the meatsuits

He gathered information about the God weapon. This is a really big deal because information on the leviathan is so rare and so hard to come by, that the only source we know of is one rock that can only be translated by one person. Crowley finding out information about a leviathan weapon is huge and information gathering is one of his greatest strengths

The contract never said he couldn't give Sam and Dean his blood. It just said he had to give them the wrong blood. Which he did off screen. The first bone Dick was stabbed with had normal demon blood but the second bone had Crowley's blood thus Crowley didn't break his deal

Crowley's plan killed Dick Roman and sent Cas and Dean to Purgatory. Leaving Sam on his own and Sam's really not that into hunting tbh

The contract was written in Latin

He looked at Cas, an angel, far more powerful than him before he even knew that Cas was sick and growled at Cas that he wanted to crush Cas between his teeth

He's very flirty with Dick and unlike other demons he attempts to get out of this through business rather than violence

Crowley in this episode is 10 out of 10

Is it true that they made Dean throw away the amulet in Dark Side of The Moon (my old enemy) because Jensen got sick of it smacking him in the face during action scenes and it just so happened to be a good metaphor for the disintegration of their relationship or is that just misinformation?

Cause if that's true that bitch should of stuck it out I don't even care he should have endured it for 15 years. Sure it's annoying but what about Sam. What about me. Wear the amulet or die trying I'm sorry that's just how its got to be. Sam and Dean can have their fights and drama - but watching Dean toss that amulet away was an attack on me personally.

But man why does Sam have to do me like that for? 😭 Sam actually said Crowley was useless even more so than usual meaning Sam saying Crowley has never been useful

Crowley:

*was the reason they found Pestilence

*was the reason they were able to bind Death

*was the reason they were able to get alpha vamp blood

*was the reason they were able to make a God weapon

*was the reason they were able to read Metatron's spell

*was the reason they were able to get Gadreel out of Sam's head

The Supernatural Novel Series

"Witches Canyon" Review, written by Jeff Mariotte

For those of you who don't know, there is an official Supernatural novel series with 17 books in total.

I have my hands on 5.

I just finished reading "Witches Canyon" which is the second book in the series, here is my spoiler-free review.

Rating: 2/5

The story takes place during season two, specifically early December 2006. The boys are investigating a 40-year ghost-murder cycle in Cedar Wells, Arizona, which is brought to their attention via John's journal. They meet some side characters, namely the town Sheriff, a woman named Juliet, and old man Harmon Baird who all are involved with the hunt in some way.

One of my main questions when going into this series was "how do these stories fit into the canon, if at all?" This book fits nicely into the main canon, it is just another hunt the boys go on. There is no outstanding plot hole that goes unanswered.

Overall this book is boring, which makes me sad to say. It took a while for the hunt to really pick up, and we didn't spend much time with Sam and Dean. Additionally, many of the ghosts they were fighting were Native American, and were consistently being referred to as 'Indians'. Both of which are cause the loss of points in my rating.

There were some funny lines and moments from the boys:

Off topic, but someone, and I'm not naming names (The dog) (Shortie) took a gentle nibble out of my copy.

one of the first fics I read after my rediscovery of fanfiction and buying a used kindle to make the experience ✨luxurious✨ was and this, your living kiss by opal_bullets (I believe their tumblr is @asecretvice) . I knew I wanted to give this story a cover right away. the scenery and emotional depth in this story is so rich I really adore it.

fic review and disclaimer note under the cut

fic review: my goodness, this fic is heart achingly beautiful. as a grad student, in the trenches of acedemia, the scenes had me romanticizing the dark acedemic aesthetic again. and as a seattle transplant they had me deeply craving the east coast. what hit the hardest though, was the parental relationship explorations which were almost too close for comfort and pulled at some heart strings that I didn’t realize were there. I always thought of myself as a cas girl, but this fic made me realize just how deeply I identify with dean winchester (almost painfully so). Especially in the chapter John Winchester’s Waltz (couple highlights that hit hard are pictured). I’ve seen myself in dean in other fics in ways I don’t think I would have had I not read this one. I hope the author understands what a beautifully intimate story they crafted and how glad I am that they put it into words and shared it with us 🥲🫠
