Something just got me thinking...

Suibian is a truly loyal sword, it refused to let anyone else use it and did what was only ever heard of in legends and sealed itself away when its master died!

The sword is monogamous. It only connected with one person and no one else would do. No one else could compare.

Spiritual weapons have a deep connection with their wielders, they are constantly permeated with their owner's spiritual energy. They are, in a way, an extension of their master.

So, it makes perfect sense that Suibian is monogamous. Because it's quite obvious that WWX is as well. WWX only ever had eyes for one person, he only ever connected to one other person in such a deep, life changing way. No one else would do, no one else could ever compare to that boy that stole his undivided attention on the Cloud Recesses rooftop the first night they met.

It was always LWJ for him, just as it was always WWX for Suibian.

I'm so down bad for Maddox and Ashlyn that my three favourite scenes are:

3. The Redlyn breakup - the chillest break up, Red supporting Ashlyn going after Maddox and the most insane storyline of Red realising he's bi because he kisses Seb

2. Just the entirety of Maddox during opening night - having an existential breakdown over your love life that you break the sound controls and then just give up on your stage manager duties and disappear (probably to help quinn)

1. The confession - a scene I want on repeat: the explanations of how afraid they are of how much they like the other then the "should we just stay friends?" Before having such a love induced make out their just completely ignore Carlos being there. (Also Maddison giving up and telling Maddox to stop coming back to her when she clearly likes Ashlyn... my baby just needed that push)

I love all my queer children but these two are the wlw so I love them just slightly more.

i love counterspell very much and this change would make it unnecessarily complicated but it is wild to me that characters who get their power from the divine (clerics/paladins) can have their spells counterspelled by arcane casters, and they have no equivalent offense or defence. functionally i know spells are all cast in the same way (somatic, material, verbal) so it's likely something to do with that, interrupting the spellcasting process on a fundamental/action level but these bitches don't know anythinggggg about divine power or spells and honestly if an arcane caster did this to my paladin, she would use all her highest level smites (un-counterspellable) to obliterate them

#like for example. a spell from the cleric list with just a V component. #how the fuck is your average sorcerer gonna recognise thats a spell amd not just the cleric yelling something in battle #d&d #im into separate types of magic sources though #so it could be that. and in fact we should do MORE #i WOULD allow a sorcerer counterspelling a cleric if a) they were a divine soul or #b) had multiclassed #i think thats so fun #i mean. to be very clear. i would allow anyone to counterspell anything. have yet to introduce this system anywhere

-phineas probably does business or finance or something that makes him need to travel a lot (he still lives w ezra and gus because living alone in your mid 50s/60s is lonely, and honestly good for him)

-gus is their roommate who has been to prison multiple times and cant hold down a job. they keep him around because they love him and he "mysteriously conjures" free tickets to local plays a lot

I know that adventure time never really went into any "names are powerful" types of magic but I personally think names are a powerful kind of magic like how when you call the ice king "simon" it makes him seem more like a human who lost his way rather than just an annoying ice dude.

What im getting at is because they sometimes called Finn "Finn the human" that implied that there was a Finn that wasn't a human and I think that was Fern. I think Fern shouldve just been called "Finn the plant boy" and call them both Finn and deal with any confusion.

Because Fern went through some shit and really lost himself and part of me feels like it may have started with the loss of his identity. Yeah he was cursed by whatever the fuxk that spider was from the grass sword, but losing his identity as "Finn the hero" was never going to help.
