A/N I’m sorry it took me so long to write your request, I’ve been very busy at the moment. (Also I tried using third person POV instead of second and idk if I like it lmao)

Anyway, I hope you enjoy it!!

Tobi initially planned to spend a quiet evening at home, enjoying some movies, perhaps ordering a pizza, and then going to bed. However, due to the 10-year anniversary celebration of the Sidemen, he felt compelled to join his friends at a pub to have a wild night.

All of his friends were present, commemorating his and his brothers’ accomplishments. Tobi stood on the sidelines, observing his friends dancing in the midst of the crowd, capturing the moments on camera. Tobi was quite happy that he doesn’t drink, knowing for certain that his friends would regret their actions in the morning when these videos are shared on social media.

Suddenly, Tobi heard someone calling his name and turned around to see Faith, Ethan's girlfriend, bringing another girl towards him. He furrowed his brow in confusion, as he had never met this girl before.

Faith stood in front of Tobi, releasing the hand of the beautiful girl. "Tobi, this is my friend Y/N. Y/N, meet Tobi," Faith introduced, with the girl offering a shy greeting.

"I'm about to hit the dance floor, and to prevent Y/N from feeling awkward standing alone, I thought she could stay with you," Faith pointed dramatically in Tobi's direction. "That way, you both won't look too out of place."

"Faith..." Y/N hesitated, not wanting to make Tobi uncomfortable just because her best friend was trying to set her up with one of her boyfriend's friends.

"Shh!" Faith placed a finger on Y/N's lips, clearly already intoxicated. "I want to join the dance floor, and I don't want to leave my best friend alone."

With that, Faith walked away and headed straight for the dance floor, grooving to one of Kanye West's songs that had just started playing.

Y/N pursed her lips, leaning against the same wall that Tobi was leaning on, feeling even more awkward now. She desperately searched her mind for conversation starters, all while Tobi couldn't help but admire the stunning woman standing beside him.

His eyes roamed up and down, attempting to take in her entire appearance.

Tobi cleared his throat, attempting to break the silence. "So, uh, Faith didn't give you much of a choice, did she?"

Y/N chuckled nervously. "Not exactly. I hope this isn't too awkward for you. I didn't really sign up for a blind date tonight."

Tobi giggled, feeling the tension ease a bit. "No worries. I was just planning on a quiet night, but fate had other ideas, it seems."

Y/N nodded, glancing at the dance floor. "Yeah, I wasn't expecting to be here either. I'm not much of a party person, Faith kinda dragged me along."

Tobi chuckled, "Me neither, actually. I prefer the comfort of my movie nights."

As they exchanged small talk, Tobi discovered that Y/N loves photography and her traveling and Y/N learnt more about Tobi's YouTube career and she found out about his love for working out. The awkwardness began to fade, replaced by genuine interest.

Suddenly, Faith returned, still dancing energetically. "How's it going, you two?"

Tobi and Y/N exchanged glances, both unsure of what to say.

Faith laughed, "Relax, I'm just checking in. Enjoying your forced company?"

Tobi grinned, "Actually, not so bad."

Y/N nodded in agreement, "Yeah, it's been surprisingly pleasant."

Faith, satisfied with their responses, danced away again, leaving Tobi and Y/N alone once more.

As the night progressed, they found themselves laughing and sharing stories. However, when the clock struck midnight, Y/N checked her phone.

"I should probably head home. Early day tomorrow," she said, a hint of disappointment in her eyes.

Tobi nodded, "Yeah, I get that. It was nice meeting you, though."

Y/N smiled, "You too, Tobi."

As Y/N left, Tobi couldn't help but smile, realizing that sometimes unexpected nights turned out to be the most memorable.

Tobi's eyes followed Y/N as she walked through the crowd. The lively atmosphere of the celebration buzzed around him, but his thoughts were focused on the intriguing girl who had unexpectedly become his companion for the night. He hesitated for a moment, debating whether he should catch up with her, but then got distracted by Simon, one of his friends, who dragged him into a group photo.

As the flash of the camera illuminated the room, Tobi's mind raced, trying to recall if he had exchanged contact information with Y/N. The realization hit him just as he turned back to look for her, but she was already gone.

"Hey, do you guys see Y/N leave? The girl Faith brought" Tobi asked, scanning the crowd.

His friends exchanged puzzled glances, and Vikk replied, "I saw her leave a few minutes ago.”

Tobi sighed, frustration evident on his face. "Great, I forgot to get her number."

Ethan, overhearing the conversation, chimed in, "Smooth, Tobi. Don't worry though, Faith has her number, ask her for it."

Tobi thanked Ethan before going to find Faith on the dance floor. He tapped her on the shoulder, and amidst the music, he shouted, "Hey, Faith! Do you have Y/N's number?"

Faith paused in her dance moves, trying to hear Tobi over the music. "Y/N's number? Why do you need that?”

"We got along well, and I forgot to get her number before she left," Tobi explained.

Faith grinned mischievously, "Well, well, looks like someone's got a crush. Don't worry, I've got you covered. Let me find it on my phone."

Faith fumbled with her phone, scrolling through her contacts as the bass thumped in the background. Tobi tapped his foot impatiently, regretting not securing Y/N's number earlier.

After what felt like an eternity, Faith triumphantly declared, "Got it!" She showed Tobi Y/N's contact info on her phone.

"Thanks, Faith. You're a lifesaver," Tobi said, relieved, adding Y/N to his contacts.

Faith winked, "Just make sure to treat her right. I'm her best friend, after all."

To Cast No Shadow by @tockamybeloved

The characterisation of Ronghao from Love Between Fairy and Devil, especially his internal thoughts in Chapter 7, are both confronting and fascinating. There are so many headcanons she's written that I love, but one that really stuck with me is how Ronghao made the evil qi refining cauldron, and that it cost him a portion of his pure cultivation (as Chidi can later instantly tell in canon, when she says his music is no longer 'pure').

13. Recommend a fic that features something you wish was written about more.

I just read the first chapter of The Road Without You, by @prolestari , and ahhhhh the angst! I love it because of the premise: what would happen if an epic love failed? Love Between Fairy and Devil is centred around an incredible and real love the two main characters develop for one another, and this fic does a post canon 'what if?' that's really excellent.

If RWRB and LS had a crossover, what would be the natural disaster of the week? And what event would it be interrupting?

Okay, so I saw this when it came in....forever ago (I'm so sorry) but I have been completely bogged down by life in general and I feel like I'm just coming out of the fog. BUT! It made me so happy to get a nice ask for nice ask week and for someone to remember I exist when I disappear 😅

As for the question, LORD I don't even know. I've always pictured if I were to do a crossover with these two, it would be the 126 saving firstprince from some tragic accident that happens at their Texas home. But like, I would want it to be also funny bc I feel like lighthearted banter suits these two casts very well. As far as a natural disaster, I feel like the ones I'm familiar with from growing up in Texas have already been done, sadly (ice storm, dust storm, tornado....have they done a hurricane? Hurricanes don't get that far inland smh). I'm not sure! I'm at a loss, but maybe I'll think of one and come back to this. Who knows, maybe I'll be inspired!

EDIT: omfg how did I not think of firstprince's WEDDING being interrupted??? I'm so mean to them hahaha but it would make for FABULOUS antics and then I just picture a torrential downpour and firstprince being all "Paul! would you just marry us now? did felix have a strong opinion about his sibling dating onnie? or maybe just a little and not so strong opinion? or did he not really mind like . at all?

Ok sooo..... Loren and Onnie actually met when they were kids! Before Onnie was found by Deuz, he lived in the same town of Loren (I like to think that the Funtimes' past school was in a different town than FHS, a smaller one that doesn't have high schools), Onnie wasn't a very "problematic" kid back then, he was actually well-behaved, but he already had a very short temper, and while he wasn't prone to violence, his classmates always seemed to want to know what happened if they pushed him to the limit.

So a group of kids decided to pick a fight with him, and get Loren involved because... Idk. This school's students love to make people's life hard.

So yeah, they had to go through detention together, and while waiting for their turn they actually started to chat! It wasn't anything deep but the two did become friends. They would talk almost daily, Onnie was the only person Loren opened up to about his problems, onnie knew that and really appreciated that someone thought he was good company...

Well, until he got kicked out of his house. Onnie knew where Loren lived, so he tried to reach her house, but before he could even get to her street, those same kids that got him almost suspended decided to show onnie just how angry they could get, right during his most sensible time.

Fortunately Deuz was walking by before Onnie could get real hurt, and since the kid had nowhere else to go (Deuz wanted him to get away from there asap. He didn't even give onnie the time to think about where he was initially going) he decided to bring onnie with him, to another town (the FHS town), where he was renting an apartment.

Both Loren and Onnie didn't have a phone back then, so they couldn't message each other. Onnie tried to send her a letter to let him at least know he was fine, but Loren soon moved to a new home. And, as onnie would always send the papers to Lori's old address, he never got an answer.

Loren was worried too, Onnie never opened up much about his family issues, but Loren knew his situation wasn't pretty. She was scared something serious happened to him, and he couldn't do anything about it.

Finally, Loren started high school, and even with the relief of having his brother in school and everything, sometimes he still thinks about Onnie and what could have happened to him.

One day Loren missed the bus to school so he had to walk there. It wasn't very far but he had to pass through some scary alleyways. (Usually nothing was there but one orange stray cat, but it was still unsettling to Loren)

She soon noticed a weird figure staring at him, and tried to ignore it, walking faster and visibly scared.

Loren didn't recognise Onnie at all at first, but onnie did. The scars were the same, and his style almost didn't mutate at all.

Onnie had to call out his name to get Loren to recognise him by his voice. Loren there and there struggled to believe his eyes and could have easily just broken down and cried. And even if she didn't cause a scene, she did run towards him and hugged him tightly.

Onnie introduced him to Maggie and Deuz, that at the moment were looking for any neat thing hidden in the trash cans with onnie. (Oxy was in the apartment making himself breakfast and playing with Misfits (he wakes up late)

They never really noticed that they were falling in love. Ever since they reunited they would spend a lot of time together, and onnie would tell him about everything he's done ever since he left his home town. Loren was more than happy just to know her favourite person in the world was okay and alive. She, unlike Onnie, didn't go on many adventures, but Onnie always got him to talk, whether it'd be his favourite music or any project she was or wanted to work on.

The first time they've noticed that their bond was more than "best friendship" is when they've started to notice just how intimate they could get sometimes, and how nice kissing each other would feel, and how much the nightmares and Funtimes would actually tease them about their "relationship"

Really, at first they never noticed or took it seriously, they loved each other, yes, they just thought that was what "best friendship" looked like. The first one to figure it out was Onnie, when Oxy made him realise how he'd spend days in Loren's house.

It took surprisingly long for Onnie to build up the courage to actually ask Loren to a date (like, a romantic one) but he finally asked her out, the night of Halloween, while Loren was celebrating her 15th birthday. In front of the Nightmares and Loren's whole family.

They both - especially Onnie - don't really like to "act like a couple" in public, and rather do all the cheesy things in private, someone that doesn't know them can't really tell if they're more than just friends.

Felix.... he KNEW what was up with both of them and just decided to keep quiet until they'd finally confess their lovely feelings. And he really doesn't mind that his little sibling hangs out with the Nightmares, he's Maggie's childhood friend, and he trusts her enough to believe that she - or any Nightmares - wouldn't let Loren get too hurt or hurt her on purpose.

Still, He likes to be near when Loren plans to stay with the nightmares for more than a day, y'know, protective older brother stuff, and the fact that he knows the nightmares well enough to understand that the things they like to do could be a bit too dangerous, but hey! Loren is a deranged little guy and he has fun with them! Who is Felix for denying her fun??

Dusk skies illuminated the sky as a dark-haired girl wandered around the streets of Kaminashi City, for once not hanging out with her friends. Sometimes she needed to have some time to herself, although being alone with her thoughts was as scary as her abandonment issues.

Caria could feel eyes on her, possibly admiring her looks, much to her dismay. A roll of her eyes and the turn of her head happened to catch the attention of a guy moving forward to talk to her.

Trapped against the wall of a building with the same guy leaning dangerously close, Caria drew her pocket knife which usually slumbered underneath her clothing. The guy nearly fell back as the knife pressed right against his throat, a singular movement being able to take his life.

Her lips parted to finally speak for the first time that evening.

❝ Get lost. ❞

The guy soon disappeared from sight, Caria sighing as she put the knife back where it was supposed to hide.

Feeling another pair of eyes on her, she glanced around the area before noticing a person. She couldn't tell if they were watching her or if it was just a coincidence.

❝ Have you been watching me? ❞

She called out to them, an eyebrow raised in confusion.

As this was occurring, a young teen was making their way home from a meeting. Not from any kind of royal official, or something regarding those Sakamakis. But merely a request, from a student in one of their classes. It was quite a strange one, to have them coming out to school grounds long before their classes were supposed to begin. Thus they were dressed casually. A black, skin tight turtleneck— Over it being a short sleeved dressed shirt. Black jeans that were cuffed at the ankle, and black boots. A black coat, with fabric that reached their mid-calf, dawned their shoulders as their gloved hands rested in its pockets.

Dull black irises scanned their surroundings. A force of habit, to count and monitor the gazes around them— And thankfully there weren’t too many. Except for the one clearly lingering upon a young woman, whom if they recalled correctly was their student council president. They generally avoided the student council— After all what would they want with one of, if not the worst, students? As for the other way around? They kept tabs.

The teen’s eyes didn’t follow the pair so obviously, though that wasn’t an issue for them. Gwen’s range of vision was beyond that of human capability— With a simple removal of their glasses their horizons broadened significantly. All they really needed was their peripheral view, to gaze upon the woman’s assaulted like so. Walking pace gradually slowly, mimicking that of someone looking fondly upon the sunset.

It was quite interesting, to see the woman so casually armed, though not quite surprising. She seemed to be skilled with a blade, given her movements. Skilled enough to have the man walking swiftly away, evident fear in his eyes.

( ❛ That man seemed to have been quite the coward.. ❜ )

Expression not replicating something other than casual indifference, Gwen’s attention turned to the girl as she called out for them? Watching her..? Well, yes. Although they would never admit to such a thing. Their form did a complete turn, the only thing changing on their face was a raise of the brow, to allow her to know they had heard her.

❝ I haven’t, no. ❞

A simple answer, that left no room to allude to any kind of lie or deceit. They noticed that her once handled knife was gone now— Likely hidden somewhere on her body.

❝ Though if I may: What’s the student council president doing out in the city like this? I would have thought you lot had work to do, especially during weekdays. ❞

They decided to inquire about her business, though not expecting any kind of honest answer. After all anyone cautious enough to have weapons hidden on their person would never share their business so casually.
