So I know that a lot of people are very worried about how TotK is going to Feel - they remember how it felt to play BotW for the first time, and they’re worried that TotK isn’t going to feel the same exploration wise and discovering things.

And I don’t mean to be rude, but in the kindest way possible, you need to come to terms with and get over that.

Because it isn’t going to feel the same. TotK is not going to be BotW.

If they weren’t making TotK, that Alternate Next LoZ also wouldn’t feel the same as BotW. You aren’t the same person you were in 2018, and you’ve since played BotW and have new expectations.

As Toby Fox said about Deltarune,

And being caught up in chasing that original feeling could blind you to the new experience.

And Hyrule has changed since the last game. The Calamity is gone. It more than likely isn’t going to be as ruined as it was before - it will be a recovering Hyrule facing another disaster, and with any luck that aspect of it will be highlighted.

I really do understand that people are sad because they can’t play BotW with fresh eyes ever again, but I really hope that TotK will provide something that will still impact you.

While I absolutely love kh3 and will defend the whole series to the death, it still kind of bothers me that Subject X just suddenly became a major thing in kh3 despite like literally no prior mention of her. Like all of a sudden it's just "oh yeah Lea and Isa had another friend and no one know who she is or where she came from but she's super important and also everyone is interested in finding her :)" Like it just comes out of nowhere and it bugs me a little. Unless I'm forgetting something or there's something in the Secret Reports or something that mentions her before?

I know I say this a lot, but I really miss the days when Ethan was still just a niche theater actor because gossip accounts on twitter posted that pic of him in a baby costume totally out of context, and now everyone is calling him all sorts of things. Ethan seems to not even use his twitter anymore so I doubt he see's people saying this stuff, but I'm begging for the people of twitter to use critical thinking for once in their lives. But then again it is twitter, and no one on there ever has an original thought.

I know that some characters are going to die in the last season and I have my theory on who it could be.

But not Jonathan. Not because I like him. To me his death doesn't make sense thematically. The Duffers said that he, Steve and Nancy still have problems to solve. That they'll focus on them. Ok. And then what? The problems are solved because Jonathan dies?

The kid who was abused by his father and had to become a father figure when he was still a teenager? The kid who's only starting now to really think about his future and his happiness? Who still thinks that he can't leave his mom and brother?

Also, sorry but, how bad would it be to see El regain her powers and her connection to Will revealed... only to immediately kill Jonathan. Like, sorry brother, now Will has a super powered sister who can protect him. And they have a special bond that can save the world. You're not needed anymore, bye!

Oh no no no no, the actual wedding ceremony is in July, this was just pre-wedding parties and not even the traditional hindu wedding events. Just a whole bunch of parties with celebrities making a fool of themselves trying to see who can be the best at sycophancy & the family running a shameless pr campaign filled with honestly cringeworthy performances, trying to show how they love each other so much.

Basically, it was just them flaunting their money everywhere, and trying to push Nita Ambani's credentials as an art connoisseur forward and try to show that anant Ambani is not just a spoilt good for nothing nepotism baby. And they are actually trying to put this forward as a love match as if nobody in india knows this whole thing is a buisness deal, same as the older son's marriage. Also feel bad for the girls getting married in that family because the amount of agency historically they've given the women there? None. Radhika is just gonna be just like the older one's wife and even their own daughter who was also part of this 'they are in love but not really coz buisness' marraige arrangement.

Even I thought they were getting married this week, but I learnt about the July thing from a rant on twitter by one of the political pages I follow.

Though I would say the family did make it a little difficult for themselves, coz without them trying to portray the groom as a wildlife enthusiast, nobody would have found out about that fucking private zoo they had built for him there when he threw a tantrum and how animals have been illegally transferred there - SOME FROM ACTUAL PROTECTED WILDLIFE SANCTUARIES!!! Some of these animals are critically endangered while others are considered vulnerable.

They are running a pr campaign rn through national media to prove how they are not doing anything wrong with that 'zoo' but well people have been talking about it nonstop.

I have a theory that the Jabberwalker isn’t a product of ascension but rather a transformation caused by its mask, a Relic that fell into the ever after long before Alyx and Lewis did and the first one to pick it up was offered an empty promise to put it on and become its new host, it nice the first host was destroyed it chose a new one and eventual after the latest host was slain they tried to destroy the mask only to discover it can repair itself in an instant so they locked it way from the tree to be forgotten and when Alyx and Lewis went to the tree they found the mask, it called out to them with the promise of getting home Lewis obviously knew better not to trust the ominous looking object , but Alyx in her desperation to get home chose to trust its word and put it on against her brothers protests and became the new host and transform into the Jabberwalker, she then attacked Lewis who barely managed to escape her and find a way out of the ever after.

So on the one hand, I'm still latched fairly hard onto the 'Jabberwalker was created by the God of Darkness', simply because they give me such strong 'Proto-Grimm' vibes.

That being said, the idea that the Jabberwalker's mask is some ancient artifact that turns it's wearer into the Jabberwalker is pretty compelling. Particularly in that it has a VERY 'classic-fairytale' vibe.

Though as an aside, I think we need to stop calling literally any and all vaguely magical artifacts a 'Relic'. Like we only know of FOUR actual Relics created by the God of Light that when brought together will bring those two judgemental assholes back to Remnant and NO reason to think there are any others.

Like we KNOW that there are other magical artifacts leftover from 'Old Humanity'/'the Age of Gods' that AREN'T the big four relics. Can we maybe start making a distinction between them instead of creating this weird 'Schrodinger's relic' situation where the relic of choice can somehow be literally anywhere or anything as far as the fandom is concerned?

Well it has been traditional for desi movies to have a strong male bond. SOTY or RRR are not the first movies to be about tenuously formed male friendship that slowly takes over their previous priorities. The 80s and 90s were rife with them. Iconic pairs like Amitabh- Dharmendra, Akshay Kumar- Saif Ali Khan etc made a lot of movies like that. Coincidentally that was the time when first winds of Queer Activism were blowing.

Actors are not oblivious. They probably know. But the story demands that. If I make a friend for whom i give up my dream in third act, i need to look at him like I will give up anything for him in second act. You cannot sell your story otherwise. So they know.

Most of the time they hope general audience doesn't pick up on it and they don't care if queer or queer aware people do, as they are a tiny minority. And majority audience doesn't really pick up on it.

I just read an article the other day about all the movies that had friendship based love expressed through songs, hope you find it interesting.
