And every year we are an entirely different person. Monday I had a birthday and I let go of all my bosses and preconceived notions about myself, aging, and life. Turns out that was the best gift for my heart. Trying to hold on to those happier times I once had can cause anxiety and depression for me. The Phoenix, my first attempt at whittling an animal in wood. I decided to make a little Phoenix as a modle for a larger piece. You find that magic doing something new and unexpected. There's an old axiom in Magickal teachings that states... "To know, to will, to dare, to keep silent". I tell you friends amazing things happen when we make the attempt to do any of these four things. The mythical Phoenix is a great example of individualism to me. Quite a few folks are really distressed about the problems in the world. When you ask them to be specific about those problems they talk about current media stories, some video, or meme that they saw. This is not to say that those things aren't valid or don't exist this is to say that sometimes these entertainment tools Force our emotions in order to make us aware of these issues or change our feelings about our lives. I really believe that if folks turned the TV off and they weren't watching the news their immediate personal lives would be better. A #Sororism ...I say this because all too often folks think that they are deserving of an answer to their questions. Especially when it is a personal one 😂 "How are you feeling?" "Why do you act that way?" "why are you leaving me?" "What are the secrets to the universe?" "Tell me how you did that?" I think the idea that we deserve an answer to our question is ego-based. It's based on self importance, and the premise that we are entitled, we are in need and you should help, we have value etc. This applies to everything we inquire about. The sooner we realize that other people do not have to cater to our demands, the freer we will be from depending on other people to validate our interest, and questions, our ideas about our self and our ideas about the world around us. here's why, we will trust our own analysis of any given situation, we will trust our own research, and we will trust our own feelings about what is what and why. When asked, My Dad used to say "God gave you everything you need, a mind, arms, legs, go figure it out" Figuring it out, is an important step to becoming illuminated, a true co-creator of the reality that you perceive. In Magic it is imperative that one is clear about what they believe and trust themselves and their abilities implicitly. Ask yourself this... the person that you ask, do you trust them? Do they have more experience? Are their lives better than yours? Do you know them? Are qualified to answer your question? So many are just lazy, and want quick & easy answers. We all have the same grey matter in our heads, we have the same access to information, we have the same resources, and the same opportunity. An answer is so much more rewarding and gratifying when it is discovered on its own, and self validated. Trust yourself, love yourself, Consider carefully what you ask of another and why you ask. And if they decline to answer don't take it personally. Hailey: The Morkie! This is a terrific breed she is 1/2 Maltese, 1/2 Yorkshire Terrier. All of 6lbs, like a little wookie! Hypoallergenic with extremely soft hair, not fur, hair, that doesn't shed. She came to me by unusual circumstances a week after my Carin Terrier Nina Simone passed away after 14 long years of being my shadow. Playful, talkative, powerful jumper, and she's so smart! A Dead man's #Shungite Ok so I got this pyramid from a dead guy's wife about a month or two ago. I had not thought about it till this evening and decided to pull it out. F*ck, if this thing had so much emotional energy still attached to it, lots of pain! And Shungite is known to self clear. Any #Empath out there knows exactly what I'm talking about. Did you know that the same effect can occur when you wear clothes that had come into contact with negativity? Let me explain... That outfit you wore when your ex broke up with you, or you were in an accident, or got fired from your job, or some other heavy emotional event is toxic #spiritually. Clothing, specifically certain materials can retain emotional energy that is radiating through our #Aura s. Empaths & sensitive people especially need to know this. When you put that outfit on again we are polluting our aura and feild of sensation with the residue of those old emotional currents. An interesting phenomena when you think about it. Washing may not be enough! Airing closets, putting away garments for a time, or just getting rid of it is the best remedy. When you get a new outfit you feel so fresh and invigorated right? Something we discussed at my book club tonight. It can be challenging sometimes folks, because life can pull us in many directions, strain us, and stress us, depress us, and alienate us. Shit it can feel like the whole world is out to get us. The key to overcome is to remember that the storm rages first inside of you. Go site survey for a location! A heartwarming comedy? You can do that too. A drama filled with life lessons? Guess what? You can have that too. U already know this right? To be the I AM of your own lifes performance means more than just saying the words, or nodding at the platitudes. So I turn another year older this weekend and I get this as an early present. A mirror that tells me the truth about how I look! Great now I don't have to ask my hubby! LoL! HiMirror is a beautifully designed smart mirror, voice and gesture activated, and remote this is a beauty advisor, aesthetician, dermatologist and personal makeup advisor, computer. It tracks everything changes in skin, recommended what to use based on conditions, fitness, you can watch tutorials, AI tech, Alexa, video calling and selfie taking etc... It is all the rage for any fashionista. It is pretty awesome. Now my practical consumer review... The company's own website, customer service & tech support is crap Big Fail! The mobile app is slow, organized poorly, bad functionality & typos. They have separate apps for the accessories (WTH?) #hiSkin & the body scale which is not called #Hi-Bod, I do not know why LoL! Accessories are too expressive some are 1/2 the price or more of the cost of the mirror! They rely too heavily on YouTubers, and Junior make-up vloggers to educate on their products, I did get some great tips and I can share them too. From a business stand point they have no control of their PR and marketing as many negative as their are positive reviews, and I had no idea this existed it's been on the market for 3yrs! That is really a shame because this thing should be in every girl's bathroom, the price point is perfect. I blow more than $119 on books each week! Obviously they invested more time and effort in the product R&D than the execution of their business model and philosophy, relying on a real time Trial and error scenarios to get it right. But hey I can tell the mirror to turn on music from the shower so you got me! Ha! Fortunately people it is a stand alone amazing digital product that any reasonably intelligent person can figure out and enjoy. It's well made. That is #HiMirror saving Grace. I suggest getting it from Amazon that company rocks when it comes to the end user. Hopefully they will buy the company and make it even better!
