I started reading Kochab a bit ago and while I'm no where near done I wanted to tell you how gorgeous it is
I keep stopping at every page to zoom in and study all the details, your artwork is absolutely stunning <3 I love the backgrounds, and how you play with the framing and composition, it looks so good !!
And the little animations! Agkkfsdlkf! They are so pretty! You make everything come to life! I want to live in this world!
Also love how you use colors, really makes me feel how warm/cold it is, esp when the warm vibrant oranges begin flooding in after a lot of darker purples n blues, feels so cozy
I'm still in the early phases and dont know Kye or Sonya very well yet, but I just know I'll fall in love (while they do the same w each other>:3)
I think there was more I wanted to talk about but I'm half asleep n can't remember so I'll leave it there. Thank you so much for sharing your work, you clearly put so much into it :]
Thank you so much! this comment is so lovely to receive. thank you for taking the time to appreciate all these little details, this all makes me so happy to hear <3
Tumblr media
thank you! It was watercolor base + digital touching up (for the fine details and also broad color shifts) I really like that medium combo, it feels like I can get the best out of both :)
Tumblr media
thank you so much!! I keep saying it but I've been really blown away by all the support for the comic ending and kickstarter - it's really much more than I'd hoped for. :') <3
Tumblr media
<3 thank you so much for reading!
Tumblr media
thank you!! :') ah that's a broad question! Color is part of how I think about contrast, values, composition, lighting, and mood. I look at a lot of photos and art for reference/inspiration, and try to make myself try new things! I do fall pretty easily into wanting every painting to just be blue/purple and yellow, and I try to avoid doing that too often, haha. I also have to try hard to not let things get muddy, and/or bogged down by realism when stylized or expressive color would work better. A lot of my art is based on lighting or color schemes I've seen in real life and want to try to capture. I've taken Kat Tsai's color class and Sam Nielsen's lighting class, and both really influenced me too! My asks tag might have some more thoughts/resources too.

OOC | Lord & Lady Malconaire
so this post might be pointless, and not to have yet another malconaire family thread running, but i was responding to aoife's comment <3 and i realized there's a lot i don't know about the girls' parents and i'd love to hash that out w you guys, if lizzy doesn't already know? @thelongforgottenrealm
ok so first id love to establish first names for our love birds? [ this site ] might help w that ;D next, id like to discuss a lil their timeline as well as the broader timeline re: valentina and her kids coming onto the scene etc, bc, for example, the thing tht actually spurred this comment was me realizing i have no idea if rosie remembers her mom at all!
speaking of, rosie's bio says she doesn't remember much abt when they were wealthy, so we know that she was still pr small when valentina arrived on the scene, and from that im guessing their mama died pr early into in her life but im not sure how long lord m was a widower -- was it decades? years? months? esp since the remarriage we now know was politically motivated it really could've been any timeframe at all since it wasnt him moving on, etc
but anway! yeah basically just a few basics would be great <3
so yeah to get us started imma start w what we know (using the first event as year 1 since im not sure what the years supposed to be plus lbr roderick's probs did smth stupidly dramatic like re-starting the calendar w year 1, day 1 being his coronation day etc smdh so who even knows whats going on)
year 1 -- birth of valentina (as a result of this being the first known malconaire event, this whole calendar is a timetable of valentina's ages when everything went down which is pr interesting for me as her rper heehee)
year 18 -- birth of cassimir
year 22 -- births of sonya, cillian
year 23 -- birth of eithne/presumably lord and lady m were married by this time, if not before?
year 25 -- birth of brigit
year 26 -- birth of saoirse
year 27 -- birth of aoife
year 29 -- birth of roisin/last known year in which lady m was def alive
year 48 -- surrender of astaira to roderick/battle of m may or may not have already taken place but obv would've been before the formal capitulation -- im guessing it was the same year tho since the v next battle led to the surrender, but anyway likely this is the year in which lord m died, and certainly he was dead by this time
year 50 -- the present
so some notes!! i believe @forgottencassimir said...somewhere haha that cassimir was probs abt ~teenage when valentina married lord m, so that puts the marriage likely between years 31-37, and we know that rosie hardly remembers their wealth at its full height, as well as the fact that valentina was the direct cause of its loss, so she was probs 6-8 when that happened, so that puts their marriage between years 35-37ish, most likely (also never fully appreciated the age gap between rosie and cassimir till i started really thinkin abt this alksdjfaklsdfj), so we're safe to say, i think, that lady m was def dead by year 37 also, i don't want to assume anything, but i do think we're pr safe to say that the battle of m took place in the year 48 and, therefore, that lord m died in year 48
this means that the smallest amount of time lord m spent without the woman he loved was 11 years SOB, and it ALSO means that at the smallest range valentina and he were married that long, and that its been at LEAST 13 years since the marriage of lord m and valentina and thus their kids have been siblings all that time/she's been their stepmom that long etc, but possibly for even longer!
are there any major events whose timetable we know that im forgetting? i feel like there are hahah but im drawing a blank
anyway, this is all quite rambly, and quite possibly lizzy already has all this info for us and i just never thought to ask before now hahaha but yeah!! i was wondering <3

6,11,12,26 and 35? :D
6. Who's your favorite lord/protagonist? Hnngh, technically Alear bc I think they were handled really well as a protagonist character and I adore their characterization and personality, and also as an "avatar-esque" character they fix a lot of issues I personally have with "avatar" and "avatar-esque" characters and also offer the solution to a very specific bone I have to pick w/ an entirely unrelated series that I won't get into bc it's not FE. But mostly I just, adore Alear, what a kind and sweet character, despite all the horrors.
Also I don't talk about it ever, but I really like Ike as a protagonist bc he's. Just some guy. Not royalty, not nobility, not secretly anyone special or of some sort of crazy bloodline (and we all know Tellius has some weird stuff going on with bloodlines), he's just a guy who gets caught up in things, and does his damned best to keep his friends alive through it all.
11. A character that deserved better? Answered here!
But for some more characters, I've got so many thoughts about Subaki (there are a lot of interesting implications about his past, but lack of any proper characterization beyond his joke trait of being a snooty perfectionist means I am literally grasping at straws; fandom likewise ignores him which is wild bc he's our first canonical male pegasus knight, but I mean, large cast so I get it), and Izana having a paired ending with Corrin for Revelations (in both the Japanese and localized versions) despite dying will haunt me forever (also rip that localization, I swear my love for this character isn't as random as it seems, I just happened to follow all the Japanese-release stuff before the localization dropped a year later, and have a really confusing impression of all the Fates characters as a result).
For Echoes, despite my ignoring him every run bc Sonya pretty, I think Deen should have had more...just more everything, I guess. In the actual game, since all his backstory is hidden in the artbook/records book project. He's actually a really cool character overall, but Sonya feels like she has so much more narrative relevance bc of Jedah and Marla and Hestia.
For 3H bc I have a whole lot of thoughts about all sorts of characters, I actually really wanted Sothis to get more...I dunno, narrative relevance as well. I wanna know what her regained memories were, her thoughts about Fodlan as it is. About Rhea and Seteth and Flayn. Three Hopes doesn't count bc the writers kinda butchered Sothis's characterization to the point of hardly being recognizable, and she deserved better than that.
12. A game that deserved better? Hmmmmmmmm, Engage and Fates for sure, at least as far as fan reception goes. Engage's was at least a bit better, but I still see people recycling the old arguments over Fates even all these years later and it's like, listen it was Fine, it was a good game, leave it be. (Also wildly unpopular opinion, but I think 3H--both Houses and Hopes--deserved better writing. What we got was okay, but it could have been so much better. For all the complaints it gets, at least Fates has consistent and completed worldbuilding with little to no questions about lore things at the end of all the routes and DLC. Like I love 3H, I really do, which is why I wish I got More and also Higher Quality writing and worldbuilding and lore and everything).
26. Come up with a pitch for a new FE title, no matter how silly it is! Let's blend fantasy with horror bc it's spooky season. Two nations are fighting each other over [insert some stupid excuse for a war to get people to enlist, but it's actually a scheme to get the people in power more power], and each nation has access to various weapons and things that seem normal at first, but slowly become more sinister and horrific the more the protagonist learns about them (i.e. maybe one of the armies has access to seemingly humane homunculi soldiers as an alternate to sending citizens to war, but it's later revealed that they can only be manufactured with parts of the dead, and the nation using them harvested their own population to make the homunculi army).
I dunno who this protagonist is, but I want them to be just some random person who gets caught up in things bc I love random people who get caught up in things. Anyhow, eventually the protagonist and friends figure out that both nations are harvesting their "technologies" from some sort of eldritch horror buried deep beneath the earth (which is NOT an evil entity, I feel this is important to note, but like I think it should be how the nations are using the being that's malicious, and the being is just a thing that exists), and I dunno, instead of fighting god or the being (which can be a dragon of sorts for the purposes of this being FE, and also be we don't have enough weird dragons in fiction), the protagonist and friends have to find a way to root out the corruption in both nations' rulers or something, although how balancing taking out two different final bosses would work who are also very much trying to kill each other, without doing split routes (which I'd like to avoid if possible) would be a task. (Maybe have the protagonist start off as part of an uprising/rebellion in one nation and then after throwing out the corrupt rulers, have to turn around and somehow fend off invasion from the other nation? I dunno, I'd have to think on this plot point a bit).
Oh but, hm...I've written all this, and now I kinda like the idea. Might let it stew in the back of my head for an original project later on.........
35. What's something you wish IntSys would just stop doing? I will sound like a broken record, but I think gender-locked classes are stupid, I want them vanished. Fates had it right (although I think I should have been allowed to stick men in maid dresses and women in butler suits. As a treat). If I can have nothing else, I want the gender-locked classes removed forever.
I'm also not a fan of split-routes (although again, Fates handled them better than 3H, in my opinion, but they're still a lot of work to get through). I was so relieved Engage was just one route. It's not like they're bad per se, it's just that FE has been kinda messy with the narrative trying to span that many routes. I'd rather have solid, consistent characterization and worldbuilding in a single route, than a flimsy attempt to explore various "what ifs".
EXCEPT for whatever the fresh hell FE Heroes is doing--the multiverse can continue to exist in that with all its weird "characters from this alternate universe you didn't even know existed now exist and can be summoned to fight alongside you in this incomprehensible Norse-themed story". Whatever FEH is doing is hilarious, I will never play it ever in my life, but I love seeing all the character art and pretty animated cutscenes. (And sometimes we get tidbits of interesting characterization for wildly underdeveloped characters. Sometimes).

In terms of just visual design…Angeline is my favourite knd character no joke. I’m obsessed w her colour palate and her aesthetic and just think she understands fashion on a fundamental level. That being said I don’t have many headcanons about her or sector X in general (yet)! I would love to see more art of her and sector X…I think she probably has really good taste in everything and is maybe into like electronic music or some kind of hi-tech hobby. Here I feel I am required to plug @truebuggy’s Sector X zine which is really gorgeous and u should get
Tumblr media
This one makes it look like I don’t care ab him at all but I DO I honestly love Lee, I just forget about him often! My headcanons of him are basically just that he is definitely autistic and that ”Lee” is his last name. He and Sonya are besties. I liked him as an obscure background character but I also like to think about the cool KND operative he will grow into—I think he’s going to use his yoyo to do a bunch of cool tricks that save sector W all the time
THANK U FOR ASKING!!

A Man Called Ove by Frederik Backman - Book Review
*sighs in a melodramatic manner* I am in love with reading and stories again because of this book.
Summary:
Ove is your regular neighbouring grump who doesn’t actually get on everyone’s nerves as much as everyone gets on his nerves for disrespecting the code of conduct one must have while simply living. He is a man who believes there is a right way to do things and there is a right time to do them. He is also a man who longs to die as soon as possible.
When a mixed-up, new-age family moves in next door, Ove finds that it is not as easy to get an hour or two to kill yourself as he would've thought. Throughout the book, Ove is forced to do an incredible amount of things he wouldn’t usually agree to, however, as we move along with him on this journey he finds that certain situations that would’ve seemed impossible just a little while ago, are not so unpleasant as they have seemed.
This is my favourite book of the year. I don’t care about anything I’ve said so far, this is the book. It is my favourite of the year and is among my favourites ever.
I never thought that one of the best love stories I have read would come from Frederik Backman. He is not the writer I would expect to put out such a book, especially not this well expressed, funny and loving at times. Though that is probably because I started with his more recent work when I started reading him. I was delighted, I laughed and I cried. I also love when I laugh while I am crying, which is what this book made me do.
I started reading about Ove somewhat expecting where this book was going to take me and while my predictions about the book were right, the intensity of my feelings through it just completely blew me off. Now, I am all about that grump falls in love with sunshine trope and I do love it when I read it in books, however, the way that is done here and the way this book is more of an ode to that love rather than the beginning of the love story itself is just what makes it so magical.
I did say in the summary that Ove is just another regular neighbouring grump, however, I would not call him all that regular, since Ove is the kind of man that believes in right and wrong, the kind of man that allows his deeds to speak before his mouth do and the kind of man that would never refuse to help where help is needed. I particularly enjoyed how harsh his kindness is since those were the parts I most laughed about, and how while he believes himself to be a black-and-white type of man, he is bursting with colours when seen in the eyes of a child, or anybody else empathetic enough to look deeper inside.
The way Ove acts, the way Ove talks, and the way Ove loves all make him such a lovable character and while I did realize that that was the point of the story itself, I didn’t realize it will be so well performed that I will fall in love completely. It is just the right amount of everything that was put into it. In Serbian, we have a word ‘taman’ that describes this particular character development line (I think the word comes from Turkish or Arabic, though I am not sure), and it means “just right”, just the right amount of everything. And while the book did have an immigrant and a gay person and made the old grump from the neighbourhood interact with them so you could see that he is not all that bad and traditional, it wasn’t overly exaggerated and it didn’t seem like the grump was ‘more woke’ than he would be in a realistic situation, it seemed just right, in other words, the way Ove was and Ove did felt taman.
While I loved the other characters in the book and the way they behaved, I don’t feel like anybody who meets such a person at first would accept him as easily as they did, and the fact that Ove had Sonya who, even though she isn’t present in the story, made some of those connections possible is what made me even more joyful. Because sometimes is not about the love that we give to other people, sometimes it is about the love that we show to that one person who is ready and willing to love the rest of the world on our behalf.
“People said Ove saw the world in black and white. But she was colour. All the colour he had.”
His love for Sonya is something that is very well described in the book already and I don’t feel like I should dwell on it too much here. I loved her through him and I feel like I wouldn’t be in love with her as a character as much if I hadn’t seen her through his eyes and felt her love for the world through him.
“You don't fool me, darling," she said with a playful little smile and crept into his big arms. "You're dancing on the inside, Ove, when no one's watching. And I'll always love you for that. Whether you like it or not.”
I do hope that one day I will learn to write proper reviews and be able to describe what I read in better ways than describing how I felt about it. For now, I will just let you know that, if you haven’t already, you should read this book because I can’t be the only person bawling my eyes out in a mall’s coffee shop because of it, thank you.

@personnages / ship roulette gone wild
Tumblr media
The maid announces him - and though her expression does not change, the needle in her hand strays from its path and goes into her finger. Sonya gasps involuntarily as the kerchief, half embroidered, blossoms a pinprick of red, and she tucks her finger into her mouth as she sets her work down on the little table at the side, and tries, absently, to smooth down the wrinkles in her day dress as she straightens. The Count and Countess have been informed, surely, she reasons to herself - and Natasha will be down the stairs like a shot, and so they shan’t be alone for very long.
Sonya had not paid Prince Andrei Bolkonsky much mind when he had visited them at Otradnoe. After all, he stayed but a day, and seemed to Sonya a stern and honorable man - not unlike the rest of the stern and honorable men in the societies of Russia, except for the air about him. In him, she seemed to sense some melancholy - not the kind that is all the rage with young ladies who consider themselves Romantics, but a deeper, colder kind, the depths of which she could not gauge. In her own mind she had thought Prince Andrei strange, handsome despite looking so forbidding, and quite possibly - very sad.
The ball, though. When he stepped toward them, Sonya had thought - well. It didn’t matter much, what she thought. When he asked her to dance, she said yes, dazedly, and to her own surprise - indeed, to the surprise of the whole family. They had all expected, like she had been expecting - for Prince Andrei to ask Natasha. That he had asked her - and not only that, but sought her out for a second set - it confused and flattered and frightened her all at once, and when she returned home that night she had dug up Nikolai’s letters and reread them dutifully by the light of the candle, pointedly did not think about her unexplained reasons for sudden nostalgia.
“Prince Bolkonsky,” She rises hurriedly to her feet, when he comes in through the door, gaze dropped to the floor as she curtsies. In truth - she isn’t quite sure what to think of him, despite her initial assessment, despite the undeniable increase in the frequency of his visits. Indeed - Natasha’s begun to tease her, and the Countess always seems to want to say something, and never does. Hesitantly, she raises her eyes to meet that of the man, a strange, stark figure against the quaint, unassuming drawing room. Teeth worry at her bottom lip quite subconsciously as she attempts to play hostess. “ - Maman will be down shortly, I’m sure. Please - do sit down.”

Mortal Kombat 2021 Movie Review (w spoilers)
Just wanted to get this off my chest now that the movie’s been released in America. I watched this on 8th April when it was first released in Singapore, and two more times the following week.
So, overall I give the movie about a 6.5-7/10 or C+. Acting: Decent Story: Average at best Action: Above average to Good Gore: Graphic but not as often or much Best highlights: Joe Taslim as Sub-Zero, Hiroyuki Sanada as Scorpion, Costuming
I’ll be referencing some comments by others about the movie, but this’ll all be my opinions. I reviewed the movie based on my understanding that it’s a low budget film before even watching the movie. I am also a fan of the game (though I do not play, I watched most of the lore)
-------
When I first watched the movie, I was excited. The intro showing Hanzo Hasashi’s backstory would be something familiar to fans of the game. As expected, his wife and child were killed, but as we know it, they have an extra baby girl who later survives and carries on the bloodline. At this point, I was already ‘eh’ because it was so predictable what happens next. I was already disappointed that they named the son ‘Jyubei’ in the subtitles, when the wife didn’t even utter his name in Japanese. In the game, Hanzo’s son is called Satoshi. But one can say that’s something petty.
Anyways, as it goes on, we meet Joe Taslim as Bi-Han. He’s menacing, he’s cocky and has the presence that fills the screen. Already, I was smitten. While some people were saying the movie is rushed, I’d say this part of the intro felt a little draggy. But, the fight scene after is great, and we see Hanzo and Bi-Han throw hands.
I’d have to say at this point: ALL fight scenes including  Bi-Han/Sub-Zero were great. They’re the best. Every other fight scene with the other characters were decent but not great.
Then we get introduced to Cole Young. From the get go, I do not like new characters not in the lore. I’m that type of person who does not like original characters in fanfiction. And his story further made me feel that a lot of time was wasted on him. Mortal Kombat has story elements around family, yes, but it’s not central, and it made the movie too wholesome and not in a way that I feel implemented well. In my opinion, it made the movie a little cringey at times. I like Lewis Tan who plays Cole but unfortunately he’s been given a role that was completely unnecessary.
A Youtube reviewer said it best: Why make up an entirely new character when there’s a plethora of characters to choose from? Heck, if you want him related to Hanzo, you could have used Takeda or something (though yes i know he’s not related to Hanzo, but he could be like a distant cousin relative whatever, with Takehashi on one of this other parents side).
There’s Jax and Sonya - why not just use Sonya? She’s the one gathering all the information. They could have used her.
Anyway, moving on. We also meet Kano. He was good and I see a lot of people loved him. Personally I thought he was okay, but he was too comedic in my opinion and felt underwhelming. While funny quips and mockery are appreciated, he felt like what Liu Kang called him: A small, angry little bunny. Not at all what I’d expect of the leader of Black Dragon.
There was... it that supposed to be Reptile? I honestly do not know, but I don’t believe that’s the Reptile we know from the game, and more of a mindless monster that has Reptile’s abilities.
I loved Sonya in this movie. Jessica McNamee was amazing as her. One - she’s attractive as hell, and Two - she felt far more relatable than Cole Young. From her being a soldier living in her ‘shithole’, to her curiosity in trying to find out more about the Mortal Kombat tournament.
They look for Raiden’s Temple in the desert. This was a little slow and again, I say Kano just felt like a chump here. A try-hard doing his best to appear intimidating but failing.
Liu Kang appears. Kano won’t shut up. Liu Kang’s introduction was interesting and I liked it, but later on his monologues and exaggerated actions were so odd and ‘extra’ to me that I was cringing. I don’t know why they don’t just make him a normal guy who’s a Shaolin monk lol.
Raiden is as cranky as we know him in the game. He’s kinda dull here, but to be honest, so is he in the game, so I don’t mind it. I saw someone compare him to the 1995 version which while I enjoyed and appreciated, did not think he suited the game and movie. So Tadanobu Asano’s Raiden is fine to me! Also, shut up to the people who get on others’ case on the way they pronounce Raiden. In Japanese it’s Rai-den, not Ray-den, like they say in the game. Both are correct, so shut up.
Sub-Zero makes an entrance again, menacingly running down the hall and making me sploosh, and Kung Lao also makes an entrance. Here you can see how poor the CG is. This is where you can tell the budget is low and realise that all the sets we’ve seen so far is pretty small and closed.
The ‘arcana’ thing that they made up to explain their powers was honestly pretty smart and I quite liked it. It then becomes a training arc, which while understandably can be seen as slow, it’s quite needed for the story.
The villains in this story were sadly underutilised. Admittedly I am unfamiliar with Nitara and Reiko, so them being throwaway characters did not affect me. Kabal, while very charismatic, died but I felt it was a decent end. I personally wish they could have included him more. However, for Mileena and Goro, I could see the moment I watched it that people were gonna be mad. I’m not fans of either of them but I understood that they are major characters in the game. So for them to be offed that easily was... tbh very disappointing and quite insulting. I sincerely hope they will bring back Mileena for the next movie, experimented on and brought to life using Kitana’s blood or something.
But best villain? Obviously goes to Bi-Han/Sub-Zero. Honestly I went into the movie expecting to root for Scorpion but I ended up being so in love with Joe Taslim’s menacing and chilling portrayal of Sub-Zero. He’s soooo good. People said he was like a slasher film villain and I think they made a great choice doing so!
As for Cole - I’m still not a fan of him or his powers. I like they used tonfas, but as some called it - he has literally plot armour which, tru. Hahahhaa.
So finally after all that, we finally get to the last fight.
Sub-Zero is about to kill Cole then Scorpion is summoned. They both fight and actually one can see Scorpion is winning? He got more hits in than Sub-Zero (two stabs, a side slash and a throw from Scorp, meanwhile Sub got one slash and a throw) so I don’t understand why people thought he actually needed help from Cole.
Also, this is another major complaint about the ‘wholesomeness’. Why was Hanzo’s family killed but Cole’s family spared by Sub-Zero? Why couldn’t they just killed them off for extra weight to the story instead of making it so safe? I felt that would have redeemed Cole’s character as more of  Mortal Kombat character if they did so.
But I really enjoyed the fight here. As I mentioned all fights that involved Sub-Zero are amazing and people not giving the credit to this fight scene are blind. I also saw a comment that said they were expecting ‘John-Wick level’ of fight. Both fair and unfair comment because: It’s a low budget movie and they are two different styles of movies. John Wick is more realistic while this one is more fantastical. Though for them to call this a Marvel level choreography... I’m not sure bc Marvel put a lot of money, so that means for their budget the MK movie did well? So IDK but I believe the fight choreography was good in this most especially in the Sub-Zero/Scorpion fights.
Fatalities were great, costuming were great and for the sets while small and enclosed they did good.
Story could have been better and I cannot stress how much I find Cole’s role completely pointless. Pacing wise I actually do not find a problem with it. I only wished for more fighting and less about ‘family’.
From the movie overall I understood it as to be a set up, and even before watching it, from the trailers, I somehow knew it was not going to have a tournament so I don’t know why all these people in comments are lamenting about the lack of a tournament. It feels clear to me that this is a set up movie and more are to come.
So while I have a lot of issues with this movie, I do think it’s a fun watch which is why I give it a pretty generous score imo.
Hopefully we’ll have more to come, improving everything in all aspects with hopefully a bigger budget!

for the essay questions: 2, 5 and 14!!!
2. What is an essay you’re planning to write right now?
I'm still finishing up my essay for this term but I'm thinking about my next one and I think I want to do something about depictions of the arctic in russian literature in comparison to english literature and sort of. harsh nationalism vs mystical estrangement. OR looking at the provinces in russian literature and them as Places That Trap You And You Can Not Leave except they are also Mother Russia's Beautiful Lands and this weird dichotomy that exists even in works where the authors otherwise are pretty decisive in their views. I'm also thinking for my other module doing like. the insane soviet nationalism/stalin mania that went into the war and peace opera and making a rare foray into the 20th century but. we shall see.
5. What is an essay topic that’s been floating around in your head for a long time?
I have. Been wanting to write something on character archetypes in war and peace for a While because there are. SO many characters in the background who dont seem to fit in tolstoy's realism... for example sonya is cinderella she's straight out of folklore but shes in a realist narrative where just being kind and perfect and passive will not move you forward and helene should be in a french adultery novel but she isnt and the narrative continuously punishes her for not conforming... prince bolkonsky the elder has outlived his war story and he punishes everyone around him because he has no place in the narrative!! and i think this phenomena could be seen as indicative of a point tolstoy is trying to make of we can't see the strings that hold our world together because it's all too complicated we're not able to comprehend the whole universe and everything in it and while he insists w&p isnt a novel it is. still a narrative. and the characters (who are both Real and Unreal) are pushing up against the bounds of the world because they're not supposed to be confined in a book! and looking at like. lukacs ideas about tolstoy and narration and how the audience can experience things through the characters but helene and sonya et al are outside of that...
14. What essay are you most proud of yourself?
this one paper i wrote on krestovsky's the boarding school girl about how even though it is not a ghost narrative, the main character's childhood home is haunting her by virtue of the fact that she carries the trauma suffered there with her to st petersburg and it is still controlling all the choices she makes through it's spectral presence even while she desperately tries to convince herself she's free. it was really nice to write about a female author and i really loved the boarding school girl and it's play off of traditional coming of age narratives and narratives about the education of women, i felt like i wrote it well, plus my prof asked to use it as an example of a successful literature essay so. good vibes all around

Hi, what are some of your favourite and least favourite things about W&P?
Sorry this answer is late, I’m an overachiever with brainrot so I wanted to answer this for every adaptation I’ve seen. Also disclaimer these are completely subjective and off the top of my head
The Book
Favorite:
Pierre and Andrei’s relationship 🥺
The Bolkonsky family as a whole (excluding Old Prince B of course)
The cop/bear/river story
The scene where Nikolai sees the Tsar the second time (I have it bookmarked sjjajs)
The duel and it’s surrounding circumstances
The scene where Andrei forgives Anatole
Pretty much just all the characters and how interesting and realistic they are!
Honorable mention to Dolokhov
Least Favorite:
The rampant misogyny
The insane age gaps in almost every relationship
The frequency of incest
The. Epilogue.
The amount of war history and redundant philosophy
BBC W&P (2016)
Favorite:
Pierre talking to the Rostov’s pigs
Jack Lowden as Nikolai
The Dolokhov/Nikolai implications
Tuppence Middleton 🥰 Not Hélène’s character but. Her.
The silly hats
Least Favorite:
Dolokhov, Anatole, and Hélène’s characters
The rampant sexualization of everyone and everything
None of the kids are played by kids except Petya and Nikolushka
Romanticization of the epilogue
The Ball scene with Anatole and Natasha!!!!!!!!
Great Comet
Favorite:
Every song is a banger
I believe in Comet canon Pierre and Sonya supremacy
Dust! And! Ashes!
I genuinely think a musical is the best medium for W&P adaptations since it allows for internal monologues to show character much more than any other medium
Nick Belton’s voice
It was my introduction to the source material and I will never not love it
The Dolokhov/Anatole kiss and Hélène/Katya kiss
Least Favorite:
Hélène and Dolokhov characterization is really off (don’t get me wrong, I love Comet Dolokhov and Amber Gray is insanely talented, it just doesn’t mesh well with canon)
“but now I like it very much indeed” this line delivery makes my skin crawl every. Time.
The ball scene again makes me so uncomfortable I tend to skip it even though it slaps
Ingrid Michaelson’s characterization of Sonya 😬
It’s closed :(
1956 War and Peace*
*I never saw the last 50 minutes or so cause they took it off Amazon Prime :/
Favorite:
The scene where Dolokhov drinks the vodka in the window
Idk how accurate it is but Andrei smiling to himself while he listens to Natasha talk about him in the window with Sonya was kind of adorable
The opera scene where Natasha and Anatole meet. It’s so innacurate but it is HILARIOUS
I think Audrey Hepburn is a great actress and she does some sides of Natasha very well (I just wish we had gotten more depth to her character)
Every Balaga should look like that
Least Favorite:
It’s nowhere near accurate to the book and actually made me appreciate BBC W&P a little for that
Too much Napoleon RPF not enough Nikolai or Marya content
The battle scenes and the duel were so boring
Acting like Hélène and Pierre were in love while also highlighting that they were cousins
Their Andrei is terrible. You could replace him with a cardboard cutout and it wouldn’t change anything

(for nic611; continuing from this)
Not quite twenty-four hours later, and Greyy was looking at himself in his bathroom mirror, double- and triple-checking himself for any unwanted lint or other messiness. This was the first time he’d been on a date, and he wanted to look his absolute best for his shimmering star...Not that he’d call her that out loud, of course.
After deciding he’d done the best he could, the Perro clipped on the bow-tie he’d bought for the occasion and left for the Ursus dorms, tickets in his pocket and a light in his eyes. ‘Where should we eat tonight?’ He wondered as he expertly navigated the maze of corridors to his destination. ‘Siracusan food’s too messy, but it’s by far the most appropriate...Then again, maybe she wants something that reminds her of home? Or maybe...Oh! I almost passed it. Okay, Greyy, deep breath, deep breath...You get one chance to see her like this for the first time. Make it count!’
“Coming!” The chef’s voice rang out from behind the closed door after Greyy worked up the courage to knock. “No, Anna, tell her I’m on my way-”
“Hey.” Zima opened the door, a smile on her face.
Greyy froze for a moment before bowing. It just felt like the right thing to do. “G-good evening, General.”
“Evening.” She walked out of the apartment, closing the door behind her. “Before she gets out here, I just wanna make something absolutely clear.”
“Y-yes?” He shook a little more than usual, but held firm. This was his night with Gummy, after all.
The General simply smiled at him. “First, make sure you ask her for her actual name; Gummy’s just a codename. Second, I know you didn’t pick a scary movie, but hold her hand when it starts getting gory, even if it hurts a little when she grips your wrist like a vice. Third...Treat her to something nice, alright?” She handed him a thick stack of LMD.
“Th-thank you, General!” The Perro nodded, pocketing the money before saluting. “I p-promise to give her the b-best date of her life.”
“I believe it.”
At that moment, Gummy burst through the door, the picture of Ursan beauty despite being clearly bothered. “Sonyaaaa! Leave him alone!”
“Just making sure he knows his place.” Just before being pulled away by the chef, she whispered, “Don’t forget to kiss her when you bring her back.”
“Go away! You already have a date for tonight!” She literally flung Zima back towards the door, huffing a little as she did.
Sonya just laughed as Anna poked her head out the door. “Is everything alright?”
“It’s fine, it’s fine.” The General gave one last chuckle. “You two have a good night.”
“Finally! I thought she’d never leave. So, um, you said we’re going to dinner first, right?” Gummy fluffed one of her hair-meatballs, making sure she hadn’t knocked it out of place with that toss.
Greyy snapped back to reality. “Y-yeah, I think we sh-should. Um...You look amazing.”
“Oh! Thank you!” She giggled. “And you’re especially adorable tonight. I like the bow-tie.”
“Th-thanks. Um, I didn’t know where you’d want to eat, so...” He had a nervous grin glued to his face. It was hard not to at least try to smile when she was standing right there.
The chef shrugged. “Anywhere’s fine, really. I’m not high-maintenance or anything...Actually, a burger would be pretty good right about now.”
“Burgers? Okay, I know a place, then.” The Perro took her hand just like he had before. “Shall we?”
“That sounds great.” Her response was enthusiastic, but somewhat muted by the fact he’d taken her breath away. To think her timid date had no trouble holding her hand like that...It was amazing.
The joint he had in mind was close to the theatre, so they took their time there waiting for their showing to start seating. Greyy got something small - he wanted to enjoy the popcorn, after all - while Gummy got a burger the size of her head and dug in with gusto, somehow managing to keep her clothes clean despite the river of burger grease that collected. It was a bit difficult to hold a conversation with that happening, but that just gave the Perro the time he needed to work up the courage to complete the first task the General had given him.
The Ursus sighed contentedly after finishing her not-quite pound of beef, now washing it down with a cola and fries. “It’s been so long since I had a burger I didn’t cook! Thanks for taking me here, Greyy!”
“Of c-course.” He rubbed the back of his neck. “Um, c-can I ask you something?”
“Sure, anything.” She turned her attention from the fry pile to him, albeit still chewing on an extra long one.
Watching her redoubled Greyy’s smile. “Um, I know we usually g-go by c-codenames, but Greyy really is my name, so I was w-wondering...What’s your real name?”
“I haven’t told you yet! Silly me.” The chef lightly slapped her forehead. “It’s Rada.”
“Rada...” The Perro tried it out in his head a few times after saying it the once.
She giggled. “You okay?”
“Oh, y-yeah, I’m fine! B-better than fine, really.” His face was going to be sore from all the smiling by the end of the night. “I’m j-just really happy to b-be here with you.”
“Me too! I mean, to be here with you, not to be here with me. It’s kind of hard for me not to be with me, after all. He-heh.”
Greyy nodded. “Y-yeah, I know the feeling...Um, should we go see about popcorn now?”
“Oh, yeah, the popcorn!” Another burst of energy as she stepped off her chair and wheeled around to him before stopping. “Hang on, I need to check my wallet real quick.”
“D-don’t worry, I’m p-paying tonight.” The Perro left a chunk of the money Zima’d given him on the table.
Rada’s brow furrowed. “For everything? That doesn’t seem fair.”
“N-no, it’s fine,” he assured her. “The Engineering Department p-pays me really well for my e-experience level.”
“Hmm...Alright, but next time, I’m paying, okay?” She slipped his hand into his as they headed for the exit.
He nodded. “I-if you really want to.”
“I do.” The Ursus blushed. ‘He already agreed to a next time~’
“G-good evening, ma’am. Two t-tickets for the 1840 showing of Mercy on a Razor’s Edge?”
Waai Fu, who’d volunteered to run the ticket stand on her night off, nodded as she took them from him. “You helped with the production, right? Miss Nian told me to tell you something.”
“Ooh,” Gummy gasped. “A behind-the-scenes extra?”
“Something like that. ‘A silent sky brings a show of thunder, so ready yourself before your greatest wonder.’ She says you’ll know what she means when the time comes. Enjoy the film, Mister Greyy, Miss Gummy.” And with that, she looked past them to the next pair in line.
Rada’s free hand went to her chin as they walked over to the snack stand. “What on earth did that mean?”
“I-I don’t know.” Actually, he did, but he realized the Nian was setting him up for a perfect moment, so he didn’t say anything. “D-do you want your own p-popcorn”
“Huh? Oh, no, we can share. Oooh, extra butter, though.”
The Perro nodded. “I was th-thinking the s-same thing. Excuse me, Mister Matterhorn?”
“Good evening, Mister Greyy.” The Forte winked at Gummy. “So this is the date you mentioned at lunch today. Good choice.”
“Matt!” She pouted at him.
He laughed. “You know I had to tease you a little, Gumdrop. It’s nice to see you out and about, I mean it. One extra-large with double spray?”
“Y-yes, please.” How many people were rooting for him on this date? Greyy wasn’t sure if he should be happy or scared. “Here you go.”
“And here’s your popcorn. Enjoy the movie.” Matterhorn gave the pair another wink.
Rada sighed as she steered them towards the theatre. “Sorry about that.”
“S-sorry? No, I don’t mind at all.” Greyy squeezed her hand. “It’s nice that everyone’s almost happy f-for us as I am to b-be here with you.”
“Oh, Greyy, you are such a sweetheart~ Hey, look, two seats in the central row!”
They watched the previews - several of them being films Greyy had helped on, actually, being Rhodes Island’s premier lighting specialist - and throughout most of the film, Gummy was clearly engrossed in the plot. Thanks to Click, the fight scenes looked real enough to worry the Ursus at times, but having the Perro with her kept her from flipping out. It was a compelling story of espionage, romance, and a war of ideals between two factions, neither of which were completely wrong, just missing information, while the protagonist (played by FEater, naturally) tried to rectify that knowledge gap. It was really good for an independent film, and Gummy was focused in on it from start to finish.
Unlike her date, who was anxiously waiting for the moment Nian had mentioned in her cryptic poem. See, it’d been his job to help film the fireworks festival scene, and in Click’s words, he’d “totally fucking killed it” - meaning that was his greatest wonder. There was a long enough stretch of silence ahead of it that he would have enough time to get Rada’s attention, say something cool and dramatic, and kiss her just as the fireworks went off, but only if he got it exactly-
The theatre fell quiet, and Greyy knew his moment had come. “Rada?”
“Hmm?” She turned to look at him, the light of a silent single firework reflected in her eye. “Yes, Greyy?”
“I love you.” Surprising himself by getting it right the first time, the Perro did as movies had taught him - closed his eyes, tilted his head slightly to the side, hoping she’d meet him in the middle-
-As if there was any doubt. The light from the screen and the roar of the fireworks’ exploding wowed the crowd, but a much more powerful display was going on in the theatre itself. As the movie resumed, beginning the final arc it had in store for its audience, Gummy held her forehead to Greyy’s with a warm smile on her face. “I love you, too.”
Leaving the theatre in silence looked a lot more awkward to an outsider than it was for the pair; honestly, after that, what more was there left to say? Once they were at Rada’s doorstep, however, Greyy did find some words to use.
“I, um...” Okay, it wasn’t immediate, but close enough. “I had a really g-good time tonight.”
“I did, too. You want to do this again sometime?” The chef was holding both his hands in hers, looking at him expectantly.
He grinned nervously with a sudden extra helping of blush. “Y-yeah…I would do this every d-day if I could.”
“Me, too.” She giggled. “Sorry, I just- I don’t know. I guess I’m kind of surprised, is all. I thought something would go wrong, but tonight’s been more than perfect. Does it feel that way to you?”
“I-i guess so? It’s k-kind of hard for me to tell.”
Rada cocked her head. “Really?”
“Yeah.” His eyes shone in the light above the apartment door. “Any evening with you is perfect to me.”
“Oh, Greyy~” And with that perfect opportunity, they had their second kiss of the evening-
-Captured on Istina’s phone from inside. “Oh crap, I left the flash on.”
“...Um, I need to go have a talk with them now,” Gummy explained, blushing wildly, “but are you free sometime this week for dinner here? I wanna make something special for you.”
“J-just say the word, and I’ll c-come running.” As evidenced by his tail swishing steadily back and forth behind him.
She nodded before pulling him into a great big hug. “Good. I’ll see you soon~”
“Mmhmm.” ...How long had it been since he’d gotten a hug that felt like this? “Good night, Rada.”
“Good night, Greyy. Keep on shining for me, ‘kay?” She let him go and turned to go inside.
The Perro stood there for a moment before replying, “Until I see your light again.” With that, feeling somewhat embarrassed but also proud he’d managed to say it, he dashed off to go home and cheer without disturbing the rest of Rhodes Island.
“Wow.” The General and the advisor, both in somewhat ruffled pajamas, were still by the window when the chef came in. “So, how was it?”
“Awesome, but why the hell did you take a picture of us just now?” She was a little angry, but that last line had left her beaming like a spotlight, so at this point she was more pretending to be mad than anything.
Istina shrugged. “It’s rare to catch these memories on film, and Sonya wanted to have your first kiss saved somewhere.”
“Well, joke’s on you, because that was our second kiss.” Gummy mimed flipping her hair (instead jiggling a meatball) before turning to go to her room. “I’ll tell you all about it in the morning.”
“You’re going to leave us hanging, just like that?” Zima didn’t get a response.
Anna shook her head as she squeezed the General’s hand. “It was rude of us to spy like that. The movie was good, though, don’t you agree?”
“When did she have her first kiss, though? We were with them from the burger shop on...” Sonya shook her head. “Whatever. Let’s go to bed; all this espionage has made me tired.”
“Agreed...They do make a cute couple.”
She nodded. “Yeah...almost as cute as us.”

Chapter 6: Happen Chance
Summary: Is there such a thing as fate?
A whole week had passed and Stark hadn’t found anything. Correction: there had been nothing but errors as the only face that came up close to a match was Steve’s. It really confused everyone.
“How does someone not exist?” Nat took a sip of her coffee as she looked over all the screens. “Even my face would have come up pre-SHIELD.”
“Not if you lived like Pietro and I had,” Wanda spoke up. “Anyone from a technologically disadvantaged country wouldn’t have been able to get a visual of every person’s face. Especially if they were hiding because they were a mutant.”
“You think she’s a mutant?”
Wanda shook her head. “I’m just saying there is more than one reason why she may not have her face on file. We don’t know how long she’s been in America for one.”
“But that’s the main clue right there,” Tony cut in, “if she came here from another country, her passport would be on file.”
“I didn’t,” Wanda countered. “This isn’t so black and white, Stark.”
“No, but it’s not exactly clearing her name either.”
Bucky was in the back of the room, quietly watching everyone break everything down. And it started to worry him. There were few - legal - reasons for her to be off the gride like this. And why was Steve’s face coming up on the facial recognition?
Sighing, he stood up and began to leave the room.
“Buck,” Steve called after him, “you ok?”
“Yeah, punk. I just need some air.” Bucky grabbed his jacket on the way out, knowing his motorcycle keys were already in the pocket.
As he flew down the highway, he continued to try to wrap his head around the fact that the mystery girl from the party was probably Project Mirror. But if so, why not attack? Why attack Hydra? What did she want? And why didn’t he know more about her during his time there?
He ended up in Brooklyn and began to wander around his and Steve’s old haunts. It still amazed him how much had changed in the decades since he was a kid. Shops he once knew replaced by banks or restaurants. It made him feel homesick for the past.
“If you keep staring long enough, that door may eventually open. But I find it’s helpful to reach for the handle.”
Bucky hadn’t realized he had stopped in front of a cafe. Turning towards the voice, his jaw dropped slightly. “Well, I didn’t think we’d actually run into each other again.”
Sonya smirked as she strolled up. “It is kinda unbelievable given the city size alone. I hope I wasn’t interrupting an important train of thought.”
“Nah,” Bucky blushed. “Just thinking about the past.”
“Hmmm,” Sonya narrowed her eyes. “You know what you need?”
“What?”
“An overly complicated coffee drink.”
“No thanks! I like my coffee pretty simple.”
Sonya opened the door to the cafe and held out her hand towards him. “Don’t worry. We can take them to go and no one will be the wiser. But you look in the need of lots of sugar and chocolate. C’mon. My treat.”
All thoughts and concerns about her possibly being Mirror left Bucky’s mind at the sight of her smile. It had been so long since any woman looked at him without fear or as a way to get close to Steve. He couldn’t help but smile back and take her hand.
And true to her word, Sonya bought two overly sugared, overly whipped coffees as well as two pastries before dragging him back outside. She waited until they had found a bench at a park before she gave him the food.
“There. Now your tough guy persona has been preserved.”
Bucky couldn’t help the laugh as he took a sip of the coffee. “Ok, ok. You were right. This was what I needed. But if anyone finds out…”
“Your secret is safe with me, Bucky.” She took a bite of her cookie.
He knew it shouldn’t have had such an effect on him, but he loved the way his name sounded in her voice. They sat in silence for a few moments before she spoke.
“Is it hard? Being in a completely different time? From what I have gathered, you didn’t have a chance to adjust like Steve did.”
Bucky sighed and set his drink aside. “It’s weird at times, I won’t lie. Some things were simpler back then. But some things are better. And some things are just as bad.”
Sonya smirked. “That would be humans never learning from their past. Those who do not learn history are doomed to repeat it.”
“Pretty spot on.” Bucky took a sip of his coffee. “Ok, so how did you find me?”
“Pure luck, actually. I was already staying near Brooklyn and decided to do a little sightseeing. This is my first time in New York so I wanted to get a feel of as many Boroughs as possible.”
“Hmmm. I don’t know if I believe in luck.”
“I normally don’t either, but I assure you I have no intention of stalking Avengers. I’m trying to lay pretty low as it is so this is pure coincidence.”
“What do you mean ‘trying to lay pretty low’?” Bucky was now fully paying attention. Was she going to admit to being Mirror? Seemed like a long shot, frankly.
Sonya fidgeted in her seat, getting ready to sell the story she had prepared since the first time she had laid eyes on Bucky. She was no fool: of course, they would have tried to look her up and saw she wasn’t in the system. Now came for the Oscar-winning performance with the ‘why’.
Taking a deep breath, she turned her face away from Bucky. “I don’t want to get into it, but I came to America basically at the last minute. There is someone… let’s just say I would benefit from them never finding me again.”
Bucky let the words sink in as he watched her subtly rub her arm. If he was reading her right, she had escaped an abusive situation. No wonder she didn’t pop up on any of the searches. She was trying to hide.
“I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to pry. You don’t have to tell me the story. Just- I’m sorry you had to go through that.”
She turned slightly and offered him a small smile. “Thank you. And I’m sorry I brought down the vibe. Here I was trying to cheer you up and I just made things worse.”
Bucky smiled back. “Well, if it makes you feel any better, the coffee did help.”
“Even though it’s overly processed?”
“Especially because it’s overly processed.”
She laughed at Bucky’s heart swelled at the sight. “Thank you, Bucky. And I promise not to tell anyone of your secret.”
“I’m holding you to that.”
The afternoon passed with the two quietly talking of nothing important. Bucky gave her a few places to try while here and her expressing the knowledge that she may not stay in New York.
“You should. It’s a big enough state that you could hide if you need to. Plus, it would give me the excuse to try to see you by chance again.”
Sonya smiled, secretly pleased her plan to lure Bucky in was slowly working. “And what if I didn’t want to leave it to chance?”
“Hmm,” he scooted a fraction closer to her on the bench. “Well, then what we could do is exchange numbers and we could plan to meet up again. Or, and this is me just spit balling, I could ask you out to dinner right now.”
Sonya pressed her lips together in thought.
“Only if you’re comfortable with it. I know you don’t want to get into your story, so all I will say is we can do this at your pace.”
The sincerity of his words took Sonya off guard. No one had ever asked her what she wanted. Or even if she wanted something. She blinked as she tried to compose herself.
Do not falter. Remember the plan. If you kill Steve Rogers, you will be your own person. Never tied to someone ever again. No longer just a clone, Sonya thought to herself.
She fixed her most winning smile on her face. “That sounds amazing, Bucky. I would love to go on a date with you.”
Lure him in. Then kill the friend. Soon you’ll be free.

Well I beat up a bunch of Queens the other day. Now I guess I’m going to ask them to join me.  Maybe We’ll make heart bracelets and everything.
Tumblr media
First thing’s first a little snack.
Tumblr media
Damn look at that chest!!!  I can’t believe it!
Tumblr media
That one. The unopened one.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Well that explains some things. La Croix insists that she’s amazing. So let’s go test her out I guess.
Tumblr media
Evidentally I need to explore the sea a bit more then huh.
Tumblr media
Well.. I guess we have to find where she came from?? okay??
Tumblr media
So I got a new ability from My Advanced Speech Job and... This is level 9?? That’s.. pretty damn worthless for a Level 9, Advanced Job. It’s not even Priority!
Tumblr media
Okay what kind of ridiculous thing do you want me to do?
Tumblr media
I guess she wants to run a Buisness. Good thing I already completed Vanilla’s Quest!
Tumblr media
Thank you Cecil.
Tumblr media
SHEEP!!! FOREST!! Didn’t screenshot it but I love those sheep. Now for some Alchohol.
Tumblr media
That’s convenient.
Tumblr media
Sir that’s Racist.
Tumblr media
That is the saddest thing I’ve ever heard.
Tumblr media
Huh??
Tumblr media Tumblr media
WHAT??!?!? OH GOODNESS!!
Tumblr media
SONYA! DOn’T FUCKING DEAD NAME HER YOU BITCH!!
Tumblr media
Clearly this is a bit lost in translation. Though its cute that they change the Icon. It’s only in the pub though it goes back to normal once you leave.
Tumblr media
I never considered these two together but THIS is an incredibly powerful Combo all things considered. Sadly, it isn’t of much use for these one. These Queens just don’t have what i’m looking for.
Tumblr media
Oh that’s fucked up.
Tumblr media
Comical music is playing but this child just tried to kill herself!!
Tumblr media
WHY ARE WE JUST STANDING HERE WATCHING??
Tumblr media
You know It really dawns on me that I don’t know how much time passes. We really did wait like several days huh?
Tumblr media
It is cute though.
Tumblr media
Well shoot this is cute. El wiggled her way into a sot didn’t she?
Tumblr media
I will protect this child.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
You know what? This is cool. I don’t think I really am appreciating the fact that I’m really starting to take the bad guys from the first game that sort of gave up a chance at redemption and are now doing their bests...  Honestly. Welcome to the team!
Tumblr media
W-what????????
Tumblr media
So i’m doing the arena
Tumblr media
THESE BITCHES DID THAT LAMIA DANCE! THE ONE THAT MAKES THEM RESIST MAGIC! MY OWN OP ABILITY USED AGAISNT ME! Well whatever. Completed 10 rounds of this nonsense. And got the Queen who sure does hate that pesky Coliseum.
Tumblr media
Yes yes. Of course. Maybe I should let you fight in the elf cup then?
Tumblr media
Honestly not a bad option for dodge tanks like Fairies should I ever decide to get knuckle deep into the Labrinth of Chaos.
Tumblr media
Her best move should hit about a 3600 base x 4 ... So against a single enemy about a little less then 15000... Not *Bad* for a physical attack.. But wait. She does have boosts... +30% and another +30%? So another +60% (If they stack) So.Each of those 3600 hits are now what? 5400 or so? 5500 let’s put it down as. That could be good against one foe where all four hits will do about 21k damage. But once again. Blalice does that casually... You know let’s just see her in action real quick.
Tumblr media
This might honestly be the better move she has.
Tumblr media
This is just an asshole move.
Well my math was off. Non-crit she did about 40k so... Okay. I’m gonna stop trying to calcuate literally any of this.
Tumblr media
Hey! Wow! There’s just FLOODING me with requests right now.
Tumblr media
I do love it when she’s happy.
Tumblr media
BUNNI! ITS YOU! WOW! It’s been a WHILE
Tumblr media
You bitch.
Tumblr media
YOU BITCH!!
Tumblr media
YOU LOVING BITCH I LOVE YOU!!
Tumblr media
IM GONNA HAVE TO KILL SO MANY TREASURE CHESTS! YOU HAVE RESULTED IN THE DEATHS OF MANY INNOCENT MIMICS!!
Tumblr media
So none of the battle fuckers then?
Tumblr media
Oh no nevermind. Give some to all of them.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This...is facinating.
Tumblr media
I see.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Such threatening music.
Tumblr media
You know. This is just a good comedy beat. It’s been a while.
Tumblr media
Yeah. Clearly it’s the marker face.
Tumblr media
Jesus Christ.  Well. That’s a few side quests tackled. Still a few more. I’ll do those next time.
