I kind of got distracted and made a ff about sons of the forest instead of continuing the request.. My false. I'm so sorry i should have continued writing about the request fml. Here's the ao3 link, but if you want to read here. Here you go!
Day 30
"You're not going..?!" Your voice was nearly drowned out by the swirling blades of the helicopter, but it was loud enough to be heard by everyone. Virginia turned to the Mercenary, brows slowly furrowing as Kelvin notices how you froze mid step to go inside the chopper. The Mercenary shook his head, turning back and heading towards the orange pack he's been carrying around since the crash. Meanwhile, the Son and Father went ahead to board the chopper.
Timmy LeBlanc beckoned you inside as the chopper slowly raised, but deciding to stay, you pulled your feet down and turned towards the surprised Kelvin. Your fists clenched as the chopper slowly flew away, and you walked towards the Mercenary. He was already facing you, awaiting the punch. What he didn't expect was you silently taking your own pack and carrying it on your bag. "You're not gonna-."
"Don't tempt me. I am pissed enough." You cut him off. Footsteps resounded behind you as Kelvin, with his cheerful aura, brightened up the situation a bit with an eager smile. For a moment, you nearly forgot that he had lost all hearing. Speaking of which, the sides of his face.. it looked like the blood had long dried. "Didn't you say you'd take care of his ear?" You asked, turning to the Mercenary. He nodded in reply. "I did. I just didn't clean up the blood."
You flicked your mini flashlight open and went to Kelvin's side. Your hands made him stay put as you inspected the inside of his ear. Mercenary said the truth, he just didn't clean the blood. Virginia suddenly started backing away and pointed at something near the bushes. The Mercenary took his axe out as you swiftly cleaned up the sides of Kelvin's face. Missing the adoration in Kelvin's eyes in the process. Planning to join Mercenary in fighting, though, when you turned back, it was just one of the curious cannibals. You sighed in relief. A breeze flowing past the group as it approached.
"They're friendly." You spoke up. Turning your head towards Kelvin and finding him mildly curious himself. "Yeah.. we should get back to a camp right now. It'll turn night soon." The Mercenary had unarmed himself and started walking towards a certain direction while looking at the GPS. You groaned. He had a bad habit of leading the way and then hopelessly making the others in the group lost.
Virginia and Kelvin both shuddered at the realization. So you got their attention and tied a cloth between the three of your wrists. A system you're used to doing whenever you suspect that the Mercenary will go on his own again. Sometimes, you felt like you're babysitting a bunch of curious puppies. But you won't tell Virginia and Kelvin that. You aren't sure how they'll react since it's like an insult but not at the same time.
Day 35
Collecting wood and giving them to Mercenary was an exhausting task all things considered. You should have finished collecting wood by noon because of Kelvin, but somehow, three brutes swarmed you and made you drop all your logs in the process of trying to escape. The brutes were killed by Virginia, but after she did. You were scolded harshly by the Mercenary. Though you argued that he could have helped while you and Kelvin were collecting what he requested. Getting to scream at him was a relief.
You have lots of thoughts that are buried under your caring aura, and that screaming was just one of the many, many reasons you want to just beat him up. You had been advised by your therapist to write your troubling thoughts away, but your flimsy pencil can only write so much before it turns into a stub! Besides, you need it to speak to Kelvin, otherwise. He'll be.. lonely— The thought made you blink. Why did you think of that just now? Nevertheless, you wanted this frustration gone somehow. The only source of relief was murdering the cannibals.. it was night. It was dangerous.
But it was better than being tempted to murder your comrade. With that mindset, you excused yourself from the camp and wandered the forest, desperate to find something to pour your frustration out onto before finding a blind mutant tied to a pole. You stabbed it through its head and chopped it down. Dragging it away from the cannibals as you began slicing away at the mutant. A disgustingly weird grin on your face with tears filling up your eyes.
Blood began staining your clothes as you continued your merciless tantrum. Only when it was in pieces did you come to your senses. Nearby leaves of bushes has been stained with blood, the grass even has bits of organs on it. Seeing it really made your stomach coil, and you bounced back from your position over the diced up mutant. You became hyper aware of the blood on your skin, and you started brushing it off. When you felt like you couldn't, you rushed back to a river you knew nearby and dived in. Crying out in relief and a sign of another part of your mental health cracking.
Virginia, having been worried about your long stroll, followed your tracker and found you crying in a river. The water barely pushed you, making you seem robotic— like a rock as you stayed there sitting down. She called your name, earning your attention as you swiftly stood up. Realizing that your clothes are now soaked. Sure this happened before, but this was your last pair of clean clothes. The rest were up on a rack drying in the camp. You'll have to beg the Mercenary to give you some.
You grimaced at the thought. One time, the man gave you burnt meat. And the other time he gave you barely enough bones to make bone armour. Oh! And another thing! He had pranked you by giving you the raw head of one of the cannibal brutes. So yeah, you had a bad experience with him alright. "Do you have any spare clothes?" You asked, turning to Virginia. She lightly shook her head but pointed back to your camp. What surprised you is that, she wasn't pointing at the Mercenary. She was pointing at Kelvin.
You couldn't recall Kelvin having the ability to carry things around. Much less, actually have things because the Mercenary often steals from you. "Uh.. are you sure he has extra?" You asked. Virginia nodded and beckoned you back to camp. Meanwhile, looking around for any potential attackers. Blind mutants were slowly becoming common around the area, so you'd set up extra protection around your camp. Getting in was a bit tricky now that you might accidentally activate a trap and will have to rebuild it again.
"Do you need a towel?" The Mercenary asked you. You nodded and slyly watched him take out a towel and hand it over to you. "I'm not gonna fuck with you." He said. You deadpanned at the man as you used the towel to dry off your clothes. Opting to just get it dry and change as soon as your other clothes dry as well. "Still, you've fucked with me plenty of times." You argue. Drying your hair and standing near the campfire and spotting Kelvin running back with sticks. You frown. "It's late at night! Don't you know you can give Kelvin a break more often than 'once in a while'?" You scolded, the Mercenary, completely ignoring what you said, grinned upon having a mischievous thought. Instead replying to your previous argument with; "And I assume you haven't fucked Kelvin yet?"
Your throat dries as Virginia coughs to distract herself from what he just said. "I'm right, then." The Mercenary looked between you and Kelvin before walking over to you, alarmed, you were about to take out the blade you used to cut up the mutant before the Mercenary wrapped his arm around your waist. Suddenly confused, you looked at him with your mouth slightly agape. This sent off the wrong message, as Kelvin's smile twitched a bit and a few sticks fell from the pile he was holding.
The sound caught your attention, and you quickly lit up once you saw him. You pulled away from the Mercenary and wrote on a notepad; 'Do you have spare clothes?' You showed it to him, and although he didn't react for a few moments, he eventually nodded and gave the Mercenary the sticks he was holding. Virginia gave you a look, but you missed the reason why— The Mercenary was just being an asshole.
Kelvin went inside his tent when you followed, you waited as he shuffled around inside. You had the respect to not try to peek inside at least. Unlike the Mercenary.. that's why Kelvin preferred you giving orders to him than Mercenary. Though he may argue that Virginia is the most respectful since you do shout foul languages when you get pissed off. Kelvin smiled at the recollection. Then it fell once he found the clothes he was looking for.
Will you go back to the Mercenary wearing his clothes? He doesn't know. And he wasn't fully sure that you liked him either. But the close physical contact he saw? That was enough proof for him that he doesn't have a chance. You sighed in relief once Kelvin crawled out of his tent and mouthed a thanks to him after he handed you his clothes. You invited him to stay near the campfire and went to your tent to change. Kelvin's clothes felt warm in a way, and you savored it before going back out and sitting next to Virginia. She gave you a look yet again, but you only furrowed your brows before she gently shook her head and turned back to the fire.
You leaned on her shoulder and subtly lift up the collar close to your face. It was soft. Really soft.
Day 43
"Fuck, fuck!" You shout, dodging an attack from the Fingers mutant and jumping back from the attack it tried to land on you. You were out of shot gun bullets and Virginia had run away to ask for help. So you're alone, trying to fight this shit of a mutant while being awaited by cannibals who were watching. For entertainment or to get the creepy armour, you weren't sure. "Just fucking die already!" You took out a bow from your backpack and shot at the creature, it spew whatever goo it had towards you. Thankfully, you avoided it. But a spear to the shoulder surely caught your attention.
The spear went clean through and you could see the other side if you just look to your left. That gave the mutant enough time to charge at you and grab you with its fingery excuse of a maw. You struggled against the mutant, dropping your bow and crying out for help as it took you to a nearby cave entrance. Your heart was pounding and your face was scratched as it squeezed its way through the opening that barely fits it. It spewed the weird substance onto you in the process, making you disgusted and nearly throw up if it didn't run past a group of blind mutants.
You held your breath and cried out at the impact when it dropped you. Your stomach felt like it was pierced before you felt the thing grabbing at you. It forced the spear out of your shoulder. The pain was agonizing before you felt it bite on your shoulder. But suddenly, it went limp. Nearly crushing you with its weight and forcing the wound on your shoulder to hurt even more. You didn't even know the thing had a mouth sizable to your shoulder!
The weight was pulled off you before you were able to turn around and see your saviors. You were surprised to see Kelvin kneeling down to hug you. The Mercenary not far behind as he killed the remaining blind mutant in front of him. "Did you lose too much blood?" The Mercenary asked, running over to inspect your shoulder. Kelvin meanwhile, pulled away and looked surprised to see the wound on your shoulder. "Not really, no." You answered, reaching up to cover the wound.
"Lets get back to camp so we can see if the bite had any effect on you or not." He paused and looked over at Kelvin. Who was still focused on the wound on your shoulder. You tapped Kelvin's hand to get his attention and motioned to the exit. He quickly got the hint and helped you up as the Mercenary lead the way for you. Virginia was waiting outside, and she looked relieved when she saw you. She also helped you walk all the way back to your camp. "Did you know? Kelvin was the one that shot that arrow." The Mercenary suddenly said, catching you off guard and nearly making you trip. That had an impact as your shoulder hurt from you suddenly lunging forward.
"Very funny. I'm probably infected here and you're still mocking me about Kelvin." Though, what he said next surprised you. "I'm not joking. He chased after Virginia when she motioned that you were fighting a mutant alone." It warmed your heart a bit knowing that Kelvin cared for you enough to follow Virginia. But saving you..? That was totally out of the blue. He was never seen in combat nor was he brave enough to fight a mere cannibal. He would only point them out and run if they start to attack..
The wound in your shoulder started to act up, so you shut up for the meantime once you reached your camp. You couldn't help but steal glances from Kelvin though. He looked shaken up and was also stealing glances at you too. Because of the back and forth glances, you were distracted enough to not be in pain while Virginia patched you up. Your shoulder ached after she finished, it was obvious by the way your hand was constantly shaking. "Where'd the Mercenary go?" You asked, trying to stretch your arm, only to pull back with a soft wince. Virginia shrugged, looking around before deciding to stand up and take a stroll. You were left alone with Kelvin. Normally, you'll just write on your notepad. But not today.
Not like you could write anything anyway. You'd rather just be with Kelvin rather than speak to him. His company is more than enough to bring comfort to you. You stood up and moved to sit next to him. Missing the look on his face as you leaned on him and closed your eyes. The soft breeze every now and then filled the gentle silence, and a few leaves tickled your skin as it flew with the wind. You barely notice the way Kelvin's body is shaking from nervousness. He used to love talking about his feelings, but now that he can't speak, he's been finding it hard to try and act on it.
Tears began welling up in your eyes, but you held it in. Heart heavy from the situation that had just happened. It took a huge toll on you than you'll soon realize is bigger than you can ever imagine..
Day 50
One funny thing is that you'll never admit to being scared of the cannibals. But now, standing over a brute that has been brutally gutted out by a mutant made you want to puke. More and more mutants had began coming out from the caves, and seeing sights like this left everything to your imagination. What murdered this person? Their guts are shining out in the sun like it's no one's business! And mutants don't leave their victims like this! They eat them! Unless they're killed during the process..
Gosh, your thoughts are running so fast to the point where you can't even understand what you're thinking yourself. You look away from the gruesome sight and head towards the mountains. Suppressing your running thoughts and emotions as you hunted a few deers for their skins. You left the ones that had their young though. You were nice enough to do that. Were you even nice in the first place? You faintly remember trying to abandon Kelvin because he became a liability. But the Mercenary forced you to come to your senses! In short, he was the nicest one out of all of you. You had no right to have been calling the Mercenary an asshole after all this time.
You're slowly losing your mind pondering about these things, you slowly stopped walking and subconsciously stopped by an abandoned cannibal camp. You sat down on one of the logs and thought until you feel like your brain can explode at any moment. You felt impending dread, you felt guilty and worse of all. You're falling into insanity. You were always warned not to fall into it at any cost, but it feels like you're not given a choice. You're being pushed into the edge and you were on the brink of tripping.
A ruffling from the nearby bushes caught your attention. Usually curious cannibals hide in bushes, so you decided to ignore it. Opting to continue your mental breakdown until you felt a hand on your shoulder. You screamed and quickly backed away, blinking and suddenly feeling embarrassed upon seeing Kelvin behind the log— A natural response considering you were losing your mind. "It's just you." You spoke, not really to kelvin but to yourself because.. well. He couldn't hear you. You went to reach for a notepad before remembering that you only brought hunting equipment so your back could rest.
You looked at Kelvin with an apologetic look. He just brushed it off and sat down on the log, tilting his head at you curiously— Silently asking what's wrong. He's always reminded you of an obedient dog, and here it's in full display. You slumped your shoulders and sat next to him. Getting a feeling of deja vu as you leaned on his shoulder. You've done this before, the only difference is that you're not that injured anymore. You slowly start to doze off, finding comfort in Kelvin's presence.
Meanwhile, Kelvin is looking down at you, arm twitching to wrap around you as he subconsciously does. A pair of arms wrap around you as you two sat in silence. You, slowly finding relief in your state of mind. Even if it's just a brief moment.
In the distance, Virginia is walking towards the abandoned camp, spotting you two on the log. Hugging. A smile made its way onto her face when Kelvin leaned down. She didn't see what he did, as he had leaned down so close to your face that the bushes she was hiding it blocked the view. But she did know that when Kelvin pulled away, your face looked flushed. Eyes closed and you not daring to open them. It was a shame you didn't open your eyes, you would have seen Kelvin's biggest smile at your reaction.
"What're you doing-?" Mercenary was quickly shut up by Virginia as she pulled him down into the bushes, you looked over upon hearing the ruffling but saw nothing. Kelvin looked over to where you were looking as well before taking your cheek in his hand and nuzzling the side of your face. Successfully earning back your attention and making you hug him once more.

A new fanfic in the making? Oh, yes. I noticed a lack of those, so here is my first attempt at fixing that.
Title: Carnal Devotion
Status: Draft
Pairing: sotf cannibal x oc, kelvin x virginia
Warnings: canon gore, canon violence, cannibalism, kidnapping, tbc
Author note: More info follows when I got a proper chapter done for ao3.
Except from Draft:
The next he got was some rope. He wasn’t going to expect the cannibal to be friendly upon waking, he wasn’t that naive. So he made sure to tie the man up properly. Legs and hands bound behind his back, so he would do them no harm.
Looking at him now, the paint smudged and the feral snarl absent on his face, he almost looked civilised. He almost looked approachable even. Perhaps it truly was the right thing to do. Taking him with him.
However, the moment he got back on his feet and met Kelvin’s worried gaze, his certainty quickly wavered.
Kelvin pointed at the sleeping cannibal now in the middle of their camp with wide eyes, as if to say, what the heck are you thinking!
Aiden took out his notepad and quickly scribbled an answer on it.
‘He is alone. Couldn’t leave him there injured.’
Kelvin’s eyebrows just shot upwards, as he again pointed at the cannibal, but this time more agitated. Just as Aiden was about to scribble an answer Kelvin snapped the notebook from Aiden’s hand to scribble something down on it with quick and angry movements.
He shoved it into Aiden’s face and he deciphered the capital letters with ease:
‘CANNIBAL’
“I know.” Aiden rubbed the back of his head, certain Kelvin understood his words even without hearing them. “I am aware of that, alright. It’s just-”
Kelvin shoved the piece of paper closer into his face, as if to highlight his point once more.
‘CANNIBAL’

goddess
pairing: sotf cannibal tribe x fem!reader
warnings: standard sotf stuff— cannibals, death, violence, etc; nsfw under the cut
word count: 1.2k
author’s note: this is a self-indulgent fic and i’m kinda shocked that there isn’t any fics for these cannibal men 😫
Tumblr media
you originally wanted to enjoy a beautiful vacation on a neighboring island, and one of the exclusive leisures provided there was a helicopter tour of the nearby islands
oh, how the dreamy vacation would turn into a nightmare.
a bullet shot through the pilot’s window, instantly killing him
the helicopter crashed in the sea, and you would’ve drowned if kelvin didn’t drag you back to shore
although he had sustained more injuries, kelvin and his military training kicked in as he began prepping shelter and starting a fire
the crackling wood of the fire cloaked the sounds of the predators in the forest, but by the time the first arrow was shot, it was already too late.
kelvin was killed, and your head whipped around as you frantically tried to hide— but where? this was an open beach and all you had was the ocean behind you.
a handful of flesh-covered men approached kelvin’s body, butchering him like food
one of them— a burly man covered in war paint— locked eyes on your form and you were terrified
under his animalistic stare, all you could was crumble to the ground and cry as you tried to accept your fate
but what he saw wasn’t another meal— no, what he saw was much, much more. and the rest of the group saw it too.
there was an ethereal beauty radiating off you as you sat on the sand; your white summer dress drenched in salt water, that same salt water dripping from your hair. your bulbous eyes wide in shock and fear, tears cascading down your cheeks to meet and intertwine with the water droplets on your face.
if they were human, then you were a goddess.
the first man was the one to stride towards you, scooping you up in his arms and carried you back to the camp
at the said camp, you were gently placed at a throne made of human flesh and bones, but the sight of it just made you cry even more. you were utterly horrified and your throat was sore.
the men— if you could call them that— knew you were thirsty and hungry, so they offered you bowls of blood and human flesh, but you wouldn’t take it.
a smaller man— someone who couldn’t be older than 22— offered you a handful of berries and you hesitantly accepted it.
over the next few weeks, you were vigilant of your captors. you observed their cannibalistic habits and rituals and didn’t take any part of it.
despite your protests to their way of life, you didn’t make a real effort to escape from their fort. without their food and shelter, you wouldn’t survive a day out there. and as much as it makes you sick to think about it, it’s somewhat better to be around other…humans, you guess.
they barely spoke, mainly communicating through grunts, groans, and absurd yelling, but their point was always made.
over this time, their behavior towards you became gentler, fonder even. less and less of the other campers would eye you out of hunger, and would leave offerings at your feet.
that’s when you began to understand their treatment— they were worshipping you as their god.
before your appearance, there was no real community holding them together, it was every man for himself. but after you, there were whole rituals, songs, and dances dedicated in your honor.
of course, most of them involved the use of human remnants, but you would grow tolerant of this fact. after all, it was them who idolized you and they were worshipping you the only way they knew how.
this tribe of people believed that you were the goddess of life, a representation of mother nature that has come to them in human form.
between them, it is believed that your emotions control the weather; that your utter kindness towards flora and fauna has to be protected and cherished.
eventually, word of your stay would spread to other tribes over the island— to the tribes of the outer beaches and the clans of the caves— and while some were docile and obedient in your reign, others saw this as a challenge to their way of life.
although rare, there would be attempts to hunt and kill you. to these select few, you were seen as a threat.
but you understood where they were coming from, and your sympathy for these cruel men just enhanced the island’s adoration for you— because who else than a merciful god would forgive those who want her dead?
among food, flowers, and other items found on the island, some of the islanders had other ideas as offerings.
nsfw under this point
specifically, the warrior-led men offered up their bodies to you in a way to please you— sexually.
at first, you found it grotesque and rude.
but when you looked at it from their point of view, these were men who had no real sexual experience nor have they felt the love of another person.
your first sexual partner was with the man that had found you on the beach and he was surprisingly gentle.
he sat in front of you, legs wide open with his cock on full display—hard and swollen— but he didn’t make any moves. he stared at you patiently, letting you control the narrative.
you brought your hand to his cock, gently stroking it and that elicited a groan from him that you never heard before
in just a few strokes, he was already leaking with precum, and the sight of him was making you wet
foreplay thrown out of the window, you straddled his lap and lined yourself with his tip, before slowly lowering onto him.
to him, it was painstakingly slow, but he knew better than to lose control and scare you off. so all he could do to cope was grip your thighs with his meaty hands and in that moment he lost it.
the feeling of your soft, succulent flesh in his hands sent him spiraling and he instantly came in your womb. but he was far from done.
after your first sexual encounter, he would soon become a regular body worshipper, but soon others would want to experiment.
there were a variety of worshippers that would come to you—some simply masturbated to the sight of you, while others just wanted to taste the fruit— both literally and figuratively.
there would be some men who’s one true wish is to die eating you out, while others just want to lick the sweet sweat off your skin and bite down on your flesh.
the latter group of people would be under the watchful eye of your original captor (or as you’d like to think, your own bodyguard)
but you found pleasure from all your worshippers. through this practice of relieving their sexual tension, there was a noticeable change in temperaments.
also through this practice, you demonstrated to them what unconditional love and affection truly was— something they had never felt.
after each session, you would bring them close, caress them, sing them a sweet lullaby— whatever their hearts needed at the moment to bring them ease.
even outside of sex, you would offer your love and affection to any and everyone.
to them, you were their goddess.
to you, you felt like a well-protected and well-loved individual.

Tim sat Kelvin down and turned his head to the side to get a better look at the other's ears. He frowned and dug into his pack for a cloth and got it wet in the stream they were next to. It had barely been an hour since he woke up and drug himself and Kelvin away from the crash sight, and he was finally able to take stock of them both. Kelvin was in worse shape than he was and it was weighing down heavily on his mind.
His ear drums were shattered, that much was evident. Kelvin could hear no noise. He didn't so much as turn his head when Tim heard the screams of whoever else was on the island with them.
With a sigh, he began wiping the blood off the side of Kelvins face, noting how far away the others gaze was. He was still in a daze from the crash, and who knows how long he will remain this way. Tim swallowed and shifted uncomfortably. Kelvin was one of his best friends in the unit, now nearly a shell of what he was. He could only hope that he was snap out of it soon.
With a painful clench in his chest, Tim realized that Kelvin's favorite thing was music. He recalled all the times Kelvin had dragged him along to a club to "listen to the bass and get drunk." Tim choked back a sob and dropped his hands away from Kelvin's face, his head dipping down. Kelvin was never going to hear music again.
Kelvin seemed to come back a bit at that moment, and he nudged at Tim's shoulder. Tim looked up at the concerned expression of his friend. He wanted to laugh. Kelvin was concerned about him when he should be concerned about himself. Didn't he realize what happened?
Despite himself, Tim gave him a shaky smile and reached down for his notepad, writing something quickly on it before showing it to Kelvin. "Let's get going. We should find some shelter"
Kelvin paused to read it over before looking back at Tim with a small smile and nodding.

Tim immediately tries to find better clothes for Virginia after seeing her soaking wet and shivering from the constant rainfall and also hoodie for Kelvin along the way (he wants him to feel included) Tim got Virginia the camouflage clothes.
Sometimes Tim and Kelvin also swap the hoodie with each other depending who's sleeping and who's having guard duty at night with Virginia if she's not exhausted or elsewhere. Every comfort they can have is worth sharing with each other.

I don’t know how to feel about being one of the first to post a fic for this pair, but by god I’ll do it if it’s the last thing I’ll do.
Also, the wiki says apparently Kelvin’s first name is Robert? lmao what a fucking nerd.

Hey Regina!!
Big fan of your Jonsa stories and the current FIRESTEEL one🔥
Just wanted to ask/know will there be any updates on any of your Jonsa fics?
Cause gosh honestly I'm missing yours (ours) dark and unhinged and possessive LORD OF THE WORLD🤤😅 (empress of the world)😉
But seriously any Jonsa updates will be appreciated 😭🤗
Ciao anon!,
Tumblr media
First of all thank you! It’s amazing to know how much you appreciate my stories (Jonsa, darkJonsa and Firesteel).
Tbh I’ve been working on-and-off on next chapter of Like Wolves in the Darkness lately though I’m having some issue with the new POV, next chapter will be a double POV chapter and the first POV of it will be new and I want to make it plausible, accorded to the story but also canon which is giving me some issue, though I am halfway through that, so expect some good news on it soon!
I am kind of outlining next chapter of Soulbonded as well, and of Don’t go in the Forest, but it’s a slow process because both are very intense to write (especially Soulbonded since I added so much lore and basically wrote myself in a corner which means I have to be twice as mindful of all the lore I added in the coming chapters for future chapters reasons ™️).
The time of wolves new chapter is under review, btw, so yep… at one point I should be able to update that too.
I’ve also had the draft of coming chapter of the Chanson du sun’s son and his queen wolf and I actually have mapped and half written all the coming chapters of Wind of Ice, thought as they’re not Jonsa stories you had no asked after them — sorry to use this reply this way but I guess it kind of has become an update on how I am doing on my fics — hope you don’t mind.
Also you are in luck because guess on which story I’ve been working parallel with Firesteel these last days? Empress of the World! (Also because of these amazing portraits made with an AI, because tbh I’m very bad at art which have inspired me)
Tumblr media
Lady Favorite Sansa of House Stark, officially taking a more active role in the court of Valyria and being officially associated with the throne of the Empress during a court session and the trial of lord Domeric of House Bolton.
Tumblr media
Emperor Jaehaerys III, emperor of all Valyria, Noble Father, the Liberator of Braavos and New Ghis, … though I can’t tell you what he’ll be doing next chapter (🤫)
Tumblr media
Their son in a couple of years, Jacaerys Brandon of Houses Targaryen and Stark, heir to the throne of Valyria and of Winter, prince of Tyria and Winterfell.
Tumblr media
Princess Rhaenys of Houses Targaryen and Martell, current lady of Dragonstone, Prime Achor of Valyria and dragon rider.
Tumblr media
The Lady Mother of the Emperor, lady Lyanna Karstark, concubine of emperor Rhaegar Targaryen.

Pretty
kelvin x cicero oneshot cuz its good for my soul :]] ive never really posted writing directly to tumblr SOO sorry if the format is weird but whatevs 1.7k words - fluff, a little spicy at the end but nothing more than kissing
Cicero leaned back against a tree, attempting to calm the fast pace of his breath. Generally, he prefers Kelvin stays at the base when he goes looking for materials and what not, because its safer for him. Kelvin getting hurt is a risk he's not willing to take in the slightest, even if that means putting himself in danger without him. They had a pretty efficient system. One of them could hardly hear a thing, the other could hardly see a thing, so logically they were better when they were together. Despite knowing this, Cicero would order Kelvin to stay back at camp while he went off into the dark woods to forage, alone.
That's how he got into this situation in the first place. He'd never admit just how poor his eyesight really is, but it would speak for itself when he ended up bumping shoulders with a cannibal. He was unfocused, and the cannibal hadn't moved. Sound was the only effective way he'd notice the person in front of him, so it was a recipe for disaster.
Of course they didn't take too kindly to being pushed by an outsider and before he knew it, there was about 5 others ready to attack him. The fight wasn't very long, fighting mutants all the time gives you a better chance against regular people. Unfortunately, a few of them got pretty heavy blows on Cicero, and once they were all dealt with, he needed to rest and recover his strength.
Their base wasn't too far from where he sat behind the tree, and he knew it would do him better to make his way back home. He took one last deep breath, before struggling to stand, and turning in the direction of camp.
When he got back, Kelvin was gathering more sticks for their holders. The sight brought warmth to Cicero's heart. He didn't really ask much of Kelvin once they were all set, and yet he still did whatever he could to help anyways. It was sweet. Kelvin didn't notice him immediately, but Cicero shuffling into his peripheral made him jump, nearly losing his grip on the twigs he had found. At first, he smiled when he realized it was only his partner, but it quickly faded when he saw the blood that covered him, and the cuts on his face.
Carelessly, Kelvin dropped the sticks and quickly made his way over to check Cicero out. Cicero waved him off, moving past their gate and into their base with Kelvin close behind. He was going to put what he had gathered in their proper places, but a hand on his shoulder stopped him from moving any further. Cicero glanced at him curiously, and Kelvin motioned for him to follow, seating him at one of their benches. Cicero huffed indignantly, but he didn't bother to put up a fight.
Kelvin left him for a moment to go grab some of their spare cloth and dunk it in the river. Cicero already knew what was up, turning to face his friend when he came back and sat down next to him. He closed his eyes and let Kelvin wipe the blood off of his face, lips quirking in a smile when the cloth brushed gently against his wounds. Kelvin was always thoughtful like that, it made him feel so... Appreciated, and cared for. A tender hand came to cup his face and he unconsciously leaned into it, snorting when Kelvin's movements halted for a moment. Cicero opened his eyes to look at him, and the eye contact spurred Kelvin to continue cleaning him up. His face was slightly flushed, and he was avoiding his eyes. It was incredibly cute to Cicero, and he couldn't hide his smile any longer.
His change in facial expression caused Kelvin to finally meet his eyes, and he gave Cicero a confused look. Cicero only continued to stare at him with complete adoration, partly hoping Kelvin could feel it without any words needing to be exchanged. It seems he did, because his face only got redder and he averted his eyes once more. Cicero merely relished in the sight further. The way the sun lit up Kelvin's face, his hair... His skin was slightly glistening under the suns beams, slick with sweat from the work he had been doing while Cicero was away. Kelvin's eyes were focused on his face, taking gentle care of the cuts and scrapes there. Cicero couldn't help staring when he looked so damn good.
From Kelvin's perspective, Cicero smiling at him like that made his heart stop for a few moments. Cicero was always wound tight, never letting much emotion slip if he could help it, so for him to be gazing into Kelvin's soul with that look was almost too much for him to handle. He was worried that maybe he wasn't reading him properly, and once the blood had been sufficiently cleaned, he set the cloth on his leg and reached into the pocket of Cicero's tactical vest, pulling out their notepad.
'Do I have something on my face?' He absentmindedly rubbed his cheek a bit while handing the notepad to his friend, in case he did have something there that was seeming to entertain Cicero so much.
Cicero merely chuckled reading the note, which made Kelvin even more nervous for a moment but he shook his head and scribbled a response. He was a bit hesitant to hand the paper back to Kelvin, but he could see Kelvin wasn't understanding and figured there was no harm in being bold with how he felt at the moment. Kelvin's eyes widened when he read the note.
'you're so pretty' Was all it said, and he nearly blew a fuse. His breath had hitched and he glanced at Cicero a few times to see if he really meant it. Cicero only continued to adore him, his reactions, everything about him was so perfect in that moment. Kelvin squirmed a little under his gaze, but a sheepish smile crept its way onto his face, which felt hot to the touch. He could tell by the look in Cicero's eyes that his comment was genuine, and it thrilled him honestly. No one had ever called him pretty before, it made him feel wanted in a way he didn't know he needed until now.
He timidly reached into his pocket and pulled out some aloe vera plant. He still needed to properly treat Cicero's wounds, but he found it hard to look at him at all now. Still, he cupped his face once more, spreading the familiar goo onto the sparse cuts on his partners face, before releasing him and letting out a shaky sigh. Cicero grinned at the response, and feeling brave he decided to stand from where he was, only to seat himself in Kelvin's lap. Kelvin let out a surprised yelp, looking down at him in shock, puffs of his hot breath mingling with Cicero's at the closeness. Despite his nervous expression, his hand slowly settled on his partner's hip, keeping him in place.
Cicero reached up to caress the side of Kelvin's face with his knuckles, feeling the heat in his cheeks. His eyes drifted towards Kelvin's lips and he couldn't help but admire them as well. They looked soft, and inviting, contrasting his own which were scarred and bloody half the time. He couldn't help but wonder how good they'd feel pressed against his, though. When they locked eyes again, Kelvin whimpered a bit, hoping they were thinking the same thing right now. Cicero's eyes darkened in a way that sent a shudder throughout his companions whole body, and Kelvin lifted a hand up to brush through Cicero's curls. He smiled softly at the affection and sighed at the touch, leaning in a bit and glancing between Kelvin's eyes and his lips with a sultry look on his face. Kelvin had done the same, but he still felt a bit timid, always afraid he was misreading the obvious signs he was receiving.
Cicero rolled his eyes, having grown tired of the tension between them and brought his other hand to cup Kelvin's face, pulling him in for a rough and passionate kiss. His lips felt better than Cicero could've possible imagined, the feeling threatened to intoxicate him fully. It was bliss, finally being able to connect with Kelvin this way. He had harbored the most intense feelings for his squadmate for so long, it felt like amazing to finally be pressed against him in a way he only ever dreamed of. Kelvin whined a little at the harshness of their lips locking, but that only fueled Cicero's desire, his hot breath fanning over Kelvin's mouth as he pulled away for a brief moment, only to come back with the same vigor. Kelvin wrapped his arm around Cicero's waist fully, pulling him closer while Cicero swiped his tongue against the other's lips, a silent request. Kelvin quickly obliged, the sensation of their tongues swirling around one another causing him to moan long into their frantic kiss. The sound stole the remaining air out of Cicero's lungs, and he reluctantly pulled back, gasping for breath. Kelvin's shoulders heaved the same, and he looked bewildered, excited and happy all at the same time.
They stared at one another for a moment, before Cicero chuckled at the stunned look on Kelvin's face. Kelvin couldn't help but smile as well, pulling Cicero close to him and nuzzling his face against his neck, trying to come down from his high. They stayed like that for a while, Cicero's hand softly running through Kelvin's hair and keeping him pressed close. It felt damn good, like he was getting something off of his chest that had been weighing him down for a long time. Kelvin felt the same, relieved that his feelings weren't unrequited. Knowing they held the same love for one another made them feel like everything would be okay, for the moment at least.
The kiss that had been shared would be one of many, as they would offer each other a newer, unexplored comfort while facing the demons that lurked in this hellhole. Moments like this made living on the island more like a dream than a nightmare, something neither of them would take for granted.

The Ikranä Maktoyu (‘banshee rider’)
Tumblr media
Pairing: Neteyam x TayrangiClan!Reader
Summary: There was nothing you thought you couldn’t do. So, when the eldest son of Toruk Makto challenges you to a race on your Ikran? Well, you never were one to run from an honest challenge. Especially when you had the fate of your feelings riding on the line.
Note: This is my first Fanfiction for Avatar and specifically WoW. This doesn't follow any sort of plot, so it's not technically necessary to have watched the new movie. Anyways I hope you enjoy xx
Warnings: Fluff, Enemies to Lovers (kind of?), Blood. Kissing? idk. This is a long one. I like to give my fanfics context, ok?? lol
Word count: 4,203
As far as you were concerned you couldn't be any different from the similar blue skinned Navi in front of you. While you were used to more complicated headdresses, and guarded expressions, these Forest children of the Omaticaya clan, wore little and expressed much. Several Tayrangi Clan members and you had journeyed vast from the Eastern Sea to meet with the Omaticaya people and its fairly new leader, Jake Sully.
Your mother had brought you up on the story of Jake Sully's arrival, on how the Toruk Makto had led all the clans together in harmony in order to rid your home planet of the humans who were intent on destroying it. Everything about Omaticaya had fascinated you, but as you grew so did your responsibilities, and now you reserve your emotions to plain passiveness.
This was mostly due to the fact that the people were so much different from your own. Tayrangi had long been separated and socially outcasted due to their spirited independence, and the Omaticaya people had once despised it. However, times had changed, and as your mother fondly admitted to yourself, new beginnings can bring new outlooks.
So, there you sat, trying to hold in any regard of the Omaticaya children in front of you, who had been introduced upon arrival as the Olo'ekytan's children. The youngest and giddiest, Tuktirey, smiled brightly at you as if she noticed your presence for the first time since you had been there.
"Come play with us, y/n! We were just about to go out into the forest." Tuktirey laughed, as she tugged on her elder sister's hand. Kiri looked up at you with a shy smile, and for some reason it made your heart warm.
They were very sweet children, most of them at least. Upon your clan's arrival to the forest, you were bombarded by the sounds of Ikrans all around you. While you were mostly familiar with the sound, the laughter and rambunctious noise as they swooped across the trees startled your clan. Who was behind the wonderful greeting? None other than the eldest of Jake Sully's children, who you were introduced to through a flurry of apologies as Lo'ak and Neteyam.
Each bore a startling resemblance to their kinfolk, and by closer inspection you saw the youngest of the brothers resembled the same five fingered trait as his father. He was the most feigned of the two, which made you suspect this wasn't his first time having to apologize. Neteyam was sincere in his apologies at the least, the perfect mockup as the prodigal son, burdened since birth you could tell.
However, something about Neteyam made your heart race just a little faster. Perhaps it was the way he laughed, and his broad shoulders lifted up ever so slightly. Or maybe it was the way he looked into your eyes, and you felt the weight of the world fall endlessly at your fingertips. Either way, you made sure you kept your feelings in check. You had goals in life, and you wouldn't let some skxwang (idiot, moron) mess it up.
"I was hoping to head near the top of the mountains. It's actually really beautiful to see near sunset." Kiri voiced out, the sound startling you out of your memories, as she looked back to see Tuktirey jumping for joy.
"Mom never lets us go out there before dinner, but maybe she'll let us since you're here!" Tuktirey laughed as she began to beckon us to follow her.
"We can go, but we've got to wait for Spider. He should be here any minute." Kiri rolled her eyes, before glancing back in apology for her sister's rambunctious nature.
"You called?" You heard a male voice call out from behind you, your body jumping in fear. You were used to the rocky shores of your homeland providing you a sense of hearing, but now that you were hidden between the sounds of the forest, you couldn't quite gather your surroundings.
"Spider! There you are, where were you?" Kiri exclaimed, as you watched to see the human jump from a fallen tree limb, as he laughed underneath his mask.
When you had first taken a glimpse of a human on Pandora, it had not been under good circumstances. It was as the RDA had begun to shuffle their way out, but the memories from your older clan members had done enough to make you hold reservations against them. Even though you had been told of Spider's upbringing, you couldn't help but feel as if his alliance did not stand completely still against one side.
Spider glanced your way, a careful nod towards you, before pulling on Kiri's tail in playfulness. Kiri hissed as she smacked him away, him dodging her advances. Before you knew it, they were in their own little world arguing about something leaving Tuktirey to sigh in impatience.
"Guys can you stop! We have to get going!" Tuk complained. Kiri looked up as she glanced your way in apology. She beckoned Spider to follow us, as we began heading through the thick jungle.
You watched in hesitance as the Sully clan leaped and bounded across tree limbs and small streams. Syaksuk (lemurs) danced across the forest vines, their playful voices echoing around as they swung. Every so often Tuk would stop, playing with some sort of creature or fauna before Kiri or yourself would have to get her away from the distractions.
The trek was long, but it resembled your own passages on top of jagged rocks, trying to avoid falling. You laughed as you tried to keep up with the Omaticaya children, your passive disposition beginning to fade away. You actually felt really happy.
At this point in the day the light in the sky was beginning its descent, and you had just reached a parting in the densely bushed trees. Pushing forward, you followed Kiri and the rest stopped at what you could tell was an overlook. Pushing back a stray vine, your eyes widened before looking up.
There it was. Out of everything you had heard of the Omaticaya clan growing up, Ayram Alusing (The floating mountains) was the most magical. Your arrival to the clan had been up these very floating rocks. You could almost see the activity where the clan resided near the Tree of Souls.
"Mons Veritatis." You heard Spider whisper in awe, your gaze settling to where he looked to see one of the tallest mountains you had ever seen. Its top didn't even reach vision, the dense vog settling eerily to the distant calls of the Ikrans.
It made your heart thump in excitement at riding your Ikran across the sky.
"Iknimaya. It is our rite of passage to ride our Ikrans. You do the same right?" Kiri looked over at you, noticing your excitement with a smile.
"Yes, although I'm not sure which is more dangerous." You laughed as Kiri giggled, latching onto Tuk's hand.
"Well, there is only one way to find out."
You were startled by how quickly they began to race across the overlook and jump onto the vines. Your heart began to thump as you scaled the rocks higher up into the sky. You looked down to the steep fall below, wondering if you had just enough time to call for your Ikran to save you if you fell.
You were surprised that with each step it got easier, and even Spider, who was not built for Pandora's harsh terrain, kept up almost effortlessly. Maybe that was why they called him monkey boy.
"We're almost there!" Tuk squealed, as the sound of the Ikrans could be heard louder. The waterfalls were louder too, and you felt a strange lightness as you along with the rest of the group slowed down as you neared an alcove.
"There they are." Kiri said, pointing over to the left side of us where the Ikrans nested. The backdrop the rest of the way was beautiful as the Sun began to hang low, and the outline of the gas giant was visible.
You felt yourself wanting to ride your Ikran Payngyì , remembering that the hangar in which she resided was not too far away, and perhaps you could reach her.
Before you could debate it further a call could be heard, the voice sounding familiar, as you began to recall back to before and your arrival to Omaticaya.
Neteyam.
His Ikran soared across the sky, the multicolored blues of its wings casting shadows in the sky. Neteyam held strong to his Ikran, a symbol of good ability and you couldn’t help but feel your heart race at the sight. He swooped below, somehow spotting us in the little opening that we stood.
Spider began whooping, before you looked over to see Kiri rolling her eyes.
“It’s so obvious he’s trying to show off.” Kiri snarked, the signature fourteen year old attitude dripping off of her like hot honey. You couldn’t help but chuckle, before looking back towards Neteyam.
He now perched his Ikran where we were, his hushed whispers calming the still active creature. Looking over towards us, he swung his legs off the Ikran, before lifting his Ionar (rider's mask) and grinning.
“So, how long until Mom punishes you guys for being up here now?” Neteyam laughed at his siblings, before looking over at you. He pushed his head forward, and signaled a greeting. “Oel ngati kameie”
You felt your face heat up, as you returned the gesture haphazardly. “Oel ngati kameie.” Usually it came to you like clockwork, but you were quickly starting to realize even everyday tasks came awkward and jumbled when he was around.
Neteyam shifted his head in curiosity, before looking back at his siblings. “You know this won’t be a good impression to the Tayrangi clan if we keep breaking rules.”
“No. That was you and L’oak. Y/n wanted to be here.” Kiri sassed, knocking Neteyam over the head who groaned in playfulness.
“Mom will let us be here if y/n is here. She is a fierce hunter!” Tuk replied looking up to her older siblings.
Neteyam looked back at you, and the same expression graced his face. Can he seriously stop staring at me like that? It’s like he’s looking into my soul. You thought quietly, albeit returning his stare.
“Is that so?” Humor now splashing his face as he laughed. You frowned at his obvious display of mockery. “Pray tell me, where’s your Ikran now?”
Something in you snapped and whatever ounce of female gaze you had for him went away, and a competitive nature overtook you. “Where your clan resides. Why do you sound so shocked?”
Neteyam’s eyes lit as he watched you begin to challenge him with your voice. Something about the way your eyes squinted, or the way your soft lips titled in a scowl made his heart race in excitement.
Ever since your arrival he couldn’t help but find any way of talking to you, being near you, anything. He would be lying if it wasn’t driving him mad, especially when his siblings were beginning to pick up on it.
“I’m not. I just…” Neteyam paused thinking about his words before smiling deviously. Your head tilted as you began to realize what he was about to ask you.
“Do you care for a race? Since you’re a fierce hunter, I’m sure you and your Ikran can make a fine challenge for mine.” Neteyam crossed his arms, his mouth trying to hide the obvious nature of trying to get you to blow your temper.
“Now I would pay to see that.” Spider laughed looking over to Kiri who was shaking her head.
“Alright, what are the odds then?” You replied, your hand already itching to latch onto Payngyì.
“If you win, I’ll cover for you in case we get into trouble after this.” Neteyam shook his head in humor.
“And if I don’t, what… I’ll be thrown off the mountains for all of eternity?” You laughed.
Neteyam smiled widely before shaking his head. He began to walk towards you, and the feelings that you had pushed back in place of competition started coming back all at once. He leaned down, a wonderful scent invading your nose before whispering in your ear. “You owe me a date.”
You tried to hold in the gasp that threatened to push out, your head which had been cast down tilting up toward his own, very near face. “Deal.” You whispered. You watched as the corner of his eyes crinkled in amusement, the ghost of his touch passed your waist, before standing back. “Call to your Ikran.”
You wasted no time in standing closer to the edge, letting out your familiar call in hopes Payngyì would hear. You were right, as a few moments later her beautiful light blue figure flapped its wings and perched with a sounding screech.
You walked over to her, the beautiful golden shade of her pupils dilated as you gazed into her, petting her slowly in greeting. You looked over to Neteyam with a nod. “What are the parameters?”
Neteyam points out past the Tree of Souls to where a carefully arched connection of vines floated two mountains. “Over there, a little stretched away from where the camp is.”
You looked at him curiously, and he seemingly read your mind in the instant it crossed your face.
“Trust me it will be a challenge. The mountains move quickly, and you have to be careful to not hit anything.” Neteyam walked over to his Ikran, leaping up onto it.
You climbed up on your own, latching onto the Tsaheylu (bond/connection), feeling Payngyì screech, and her breath beginning to pump as she anticipated your next move.
“You can do it y/n!” You heard Tuk cheer, looking over you watched Kiri look at you with careful caution.
“Be careful. My brother is stupid, but he knows these mountains well. As much as it pains me to say it, he is one of the best hunters.” Kiri grimaced, Neteyam cheering out in response to her compliment.
“Are you ready, y/n?” Neteyam looked over at you with a wide smile.
You couldn’t help your own smile grace your face, nodding before him.
“I will see you at the finish line, then.” He winked, and suddenly you had forgotten there ever was a race, before watching as he dove his Ikran down, and upwards into the sky.
“Oh sh-” You exclaimed with a huff, following after him, the legs of Payngyì tightening, her wings closing in downwards. You felt the gust of air and you were suddenly very laser focused on winning. Not because the bullshit win might not guarantee you a harsh scolding afterwards, but simply to beat Neteyam. A man that was so intently after your own heart. And winning.
You saw him not too far in the distance, realizing there had to be a shortcut or some way to catch up to him and gain more speed. You tightened your hold on Payngyì, her voice squawking out as you nearly collided with a mountain that was moving closer to your right side. You banked left, realizing the air was a lot similar to that of the Eastern Sea.
Before in races, you would use the wind speed to gain traction by going downwards and upwards. This worked even better, once you realized that Neteyam in the distance was having to lose traction to weave through the mountains.
“Come on Payngyì.” You whispered, feeling her move exactly what you had in your mind, soaring upwards and downwards, before realizing you were nearing the tree of souls and the archway.
Neteyam glanced behind you with a fierce look in his eyes, before banking off and passing behind a particularly large mountain. You frowned realizing the same mountain that was coming left was now barreling toward you. You gasped narrowly escaping the bottom as you dived downward.
You must have startled Payngyì, because now she strained on your hold, and you could feel the fear in the bond. She began to slow down much to your disappointment, as you tried to push her forward.
All of the sudden you heard Neteyam fly past you from the opposite side he had come from. Payngyì, who had already been startled by the unfamiliar mountains, saw the shadow of his Ikran and screeched before diving again this time barreling towards the cliffs. You screamed, urging your Ikran to pull up but to no avail.
Neteyam must’ve seen the whole thing as you heard him call out to you. “Quickly this way!” He cascaded his own Ikran near the rocks, trying to keep Payngyì from hurting herself. In the process of pushing your own away from the cliffs, you watched as his shoulder scratched against jagged rocks, his skin tearing up. “Shit.” He swore.
“Neteyam!” You yelled, sighing in relief as he managed to pull his own Ikran away from the cliffs and fly smoothly next to mine. “Are you alright?”
“Yes…” He groaned, his injured arm locking up as his face squinted into a scowl. “I think-hold on…”
“Neteyam… do we need to stop?” You replied in concern, worried for the fact that his injury had begun to slowly bleed.
“Uh yeah…maybe…” His words now stuttering, looking at you in embarrassment. “Look, let's not go back to camp, I won’t be able to make my promise to you if we do.”
“If I was that worried about that Neteyam, I wouldn’t have agreed to this race.” I huffed. “Where do you want to go? You need care, you’re going to bleed out.”
“No, I know a place.” Neteyam grimaced, beckoning you to follow him. “Follow me.”
You grappled at the possibility of finishing the race or saving Neteyam, as you realized the way he was taking you was straight past the archway. He’s going to win, and I’ll owe him a date. You shook your thoughts from your mind, realizing any race or date was far from the task at hand, and making sure Neteyam is safe was more of a priority.
You sailed through the sky, the sun now setting, and the realization that your own mother and clan will be very disappointed if you embarrassed them by arriving past curfew. “Shouldn’t we just go back? I just don’t understand how any place we’re going will help you or anyone’s case.”
Neteyam, who had gone quiet, shook his head. “There is a place on the ground near the tree of souls not far from camp. Our ancestors used to go there because it possessed great healing powers. That’s where we get most of our medicine.”
You stared at him, his braided hair flying in the wind and his eyes focused intently on the mission ahead. It made you realize just how deeply he knew about his clan, and the role he knew he would have to serve one day. It made you look at him differently, and not just as a headstrong boy. He was a leader, he would be their savior one day.
As you neared the forest floor you saw a few spirit trees up ahead and a small rocky alcove. Resting both of your Ikrans on the floor, you realized the forest was beginning to come alive with its beautiful glow.
Neteyam grumbled, holding onto his arm loosely before looking up at me. “Uh.. if you grab some of those nearby plants-” You held up a hand, taking over realizing this routine was much similar to that of your clan near the Eastern Sea. Many times, you had to seek out ways to produce medicine for your injured clan, and the forest was no different.
“Sit down.” You ordered, pushing him down his mouth beginning to move in protest. “It’s the least I could do. You saved my life.” You looked down at him before turning back and grabbing some plants to make some sort of salve.
“Thank you.” You heard Neteyam quietly speak, feeling his eyes staring intently at your back. Your face heated up, grabbing a nearby rock and beginning to mash a few plants together.
You turned around, meeting his eyes who looked almost fascinated at you. You scrunched your face, and for the first time voiced your opinion. “Why do you always stare at me like that?”
“Like what?” Neteyam whispered, the nearness of your body to his and possibly the loss of blood making his voice go hoarse.
“Like…you’ve known me all your life or something.” You began applying the makeshift salve to his cuts, making him hiss in alarm. “Stop moving.”
“Well sometimes I think I do. You’re unlike anyone I’ve ever met.” Neteyam reached out his free hand, stopping you in your tracks. Your ears flicked in curiosity, before you shrugged his hand off of yours so you could continue. “Why do you ignore me?”
“I don’t.” You frowned, now suddenly very intent on helping bandage his arm, and stop from blurting out every ounce of feeling you have all at once. “You just-” You paused before continuing. “All the other boys in my clan have never once been so intent on getting my attention. Not that I want it but- you seemingly always do. And I-”
“Secretly like it?” You scoffed watching Neteyam’s mouth form into a wide smile.
“You’re a skxawng you know that?” You hissed, wrapping the bandage a little tighter against his arm much to his chagrin. At this point in his bandaging process, you had knelt next to him, and not realizing your nearness to him until you looked up to see his face so close to yours.
You inhaled that wonderful scent again and this time there was nothing to pull either of you away from each other. Neteyam closed in first, wrapping his uninjured hand onto your cheek softly, pulling you in for a kiss.
Wow. You thought to yourself. His lips were just as delicate as you had imagined them to be, yet strong and firm. You felt yourself move your own lips against his until both of you were passionately locked in one another. You felt his arm slide against your waist as you gasped, pulling you into his lap. Your mouth moved fervently against his, feeling the way he groaned beneath you. Something about the moment was complete bliss, and suddenly you were far away from your worries and goals in life, and all you wanted to do was to be wrapped in his arms for all eternity.
It all came to a halt when you felt his bandage arm try and glide against your body to pull you further down before the pain tore through. “Damn it!” Neteyam cursed, as you both pushed away in alarm. Your eyes widened as you  fell away from his arms looking frightened at hurting him, but also at what had just transpired.
Looking around you realized it was now nightfall and most definitely one skip away from being permanently grounded forever. The spirit trees moved as the wind passed them by, a few sacred seeds falling around both of you, most definitely aware of what had just transpired from you.
“I’m sorry.” Neteyam apologized, his breath still uneven, and his mouths a bit swollen from your own lips. If it had been any other situation you would have climbed back into his arms, but you realized you definitely should be heading back. Getting up from your position, your hand reached to grab his uninjured one.
“We should get going.”
Neteyam stuttered before grabbing onto your hand and standing next to you. “I- Don’t you want to talk about what just happened?” His hand swept across his face. “So does this mean…?”
“I-” You were at a loss for words. “I don’t know.”
Neteyam laughed before shaking his head. “You are unlike any female I’ve met.”
You bit your lip as you shook your head, laughing with him. “Look, I’m not sure if I’m-”
“Before you say anything.” Neteyam said, grabbing your arm to keep you from walking away. “Can I take you out on that date anyways? Since I figured it was a tie, and I was going to try and cover for you anyways.”
“I don’t think anything will save either of us from punishment, Neteyam.” You chuckled, shaking your head, before turning around and making your way back to your Ikran to fly back to camp.
“So?” Neteyam called back to you, as you heard his steps race toward your own. You turn around watching as he got closer and everything that had just transpired came rushing in.
“Yes.” You smiled. You realized there was nothing stopping you from him. You spent so much of your life running from love because you thought it would stop you from achieving your goals in life. That was until you met Neteyam, and suddenly you couldn’t imagine your life without him. You were hopelessly in love. “As long as you promise you can kiss me just like before.”
Neteyam grinned, before nodding, grabbing your waist and pulling you in close. “Deal.”
And just like that, you had fallen for the Ikranä Maktoyu, with no chance of catching yourself either.

A little Sons of the Forest prompt with Kelvin and reader
Tumblr media
The sun had set, and the forest was engulfed in darkness. You had no idea what was lurking in the shadows as you walked in between the trees, searching for a few sticks to keep the camp fire going. Usually you would send Kelvin to gather wood but it was too dark and you didn't want him to risk his life in the dark without being able to hear the danger approaching. Suddenly, a figure emerged from behind a bush, and before you could realise what was happening, the cannibal attacked you, a terrifying scream emerging from his throat while he tried to hit you with a sharpened bone. You screamed trying to block his blows. Thoughts of how you'd die here and now filled your mind, mixed with the sad realisation that Kelvin would find your battered remains in a blood soaked puddle not far from your camp. Fortunately Kelvin cared as much about your safety than you about his, so he had been following you from a distance, his whole body tensed, hoping that no cannibal would sneak up behind him. At first, fear gripped him, and he wanted to run away, knowing that without his hearing he'd be useless in a fight, but something inside him pushed him to stand up and run towards you. You had grown unto him over the last weeks, trapped together on this cursed island. You took care of him, always making sure that nothing would harm him, that he had everything he needed and you'd always volunteer to take up on the more dangerous gathering rounds to keep him safe. He might have saved your life from the sinking helicopter, but he owed you just as much for keeping him alive after the crash. He had no weapons, but he knew he had to save your life. With nothing but his bare hands, he charged towards the cannibal. His heart was pounding so hard that he could feel it in his ears. The cannibal was strong, and Kelvin was struggling to overpower him. His precious companion's life was at stake, and Kelvin knew he had to act fast. With the adrenaline rushing through his veins, he punched the cannibal's face with all his might. Blow after blow, he kept hitting until finally, the lifeless body sank to the ground, mouth agape and eyes riped open while a trail of blood ran over the face. Kelvin couldn't believe what he had just done. He had just saved you, again, and he felt a sense of pride and relief. You were standing there in shock and couldn't believe what just happened. You both both hugged each other, and tears rolled down your cheeks. You knew you just went through yet another traumatic experience, and, more than ever, you needed each other's comfort. You headed back to camp and as the door felt shut behind you, the two of you sat down on the makeshift bed, hugging each other so tight as if you'd be afraid that hell would break loose if you'd let go again. You knew that the cannibal you had just killed was not the only lurking out there and that his fellow tribe member would probably find his corpse and try to invade your camp. Both of you took a deep and laid down on the bed. You turned around to face Kelvin and cuddled up to him, burying your face in the soft fabric of his hoodie, letting out a silent sob. His trembling hands caressed your back as he shut his eyes, wondering what would happen if you'd finally managed to escape this island and if you'd stay with him or leave him as you'd no longer need him to be safe. The unknown laid ahead of the two of you but, for now, you both knew that you were ready to face any danger that came your way of you'd just stick together.

It was a stupid thing, really. Kelvin felt stupid. He had seen a crate of supplies sitting along the edge of a cliff, and he got excited. It wasn't too far from their camp, so he thought it was an easy enough task to simply pick it up and haul it over. The only problem was, as soon as he lifted the container, a wave of dizziness hit him, and his foot slipped off the edge of the cliff, sending him falling off the side.
He landed hard on his left shoulder, sending a shooting pain through his arm and chest. He let out a cry and rolled onto his back. Looking up at the top of the cliff, it wasn't a long drop, but he was pretty sure his shoulder was now dislocated.
He sat there for a bit, letting himself catch his breath before rolling onto his right side and pushing himself up. The movement sent spikes of pain as he did. He looked down at his arm, now dangling uselessly by his side. With gritted teeth, he made his way back to the camp, trying desperately to bite back any sounds of pain.
He looked around for any sign of Tim before peeking into the cabin. Tim was still gone. Kelvin pushed open the door and went inside. He didn't want anyone or anything to see him.
Moving to the far wall, he braced his arm against it and used a shelf as leverage before he shoved as hard as he could, feeling the pop as the shoulder was forced back into place. He gasped and fell to his knees, clutching at his arm as pain continued to radiate from it.
Tim was going to be mad if he found out what happened. He lightly touched his shoulder and immediately jerked his hand back with a hiss of pain. How was he going to hide this? He gingerly lifted his arm with gritted teeth and slipped it into the pocket of his hoodie. It felt a little better now that it was resting and not dangling anymore. He laid down on the bed and quickly passed out, the ordeal having exhausted him.
The next day, Tim noticed that Kelvin was favoring his left arm, never taking it out of the pocket of his hoodie. He frowned, but he wasn't sure if he should push it. Kelvin was keeping it to himself on purpose.
It wasn't until Tim saw Kelvin sway and fall into the wall of the cabin, his left shoulder taking the hit as he did so. He let out a strangled gasp and gripped his arm tightly. Tim wasn't going to leave it alone anymore. This was more serious than he had thought.
"What's wrong with your arm?" Tim asked.
Kelvin hesitated before answering. "There was a cliff..."
Kelvin didn't get to finish before Tim's eyes widened. "Is your arm broken?"
Kelvin shook his head quickly before miming writing something, and Tim handed off his notepad to him. He carefully wrote out 'dislocated' before handing it back to him.
Tim frowned and looked at him. "Why did you hide this from me?"
Looking guilty, Kelvin looked down as he responded. "I was afraid you would be mad at me."
Tim blinked. Why would he think that? Kelvin was an adult, not a child to be scolded. Tim moved forward and cupped his chin, lifting his head up. "Why would I be mad? You're hurt, and I care if you get hurt."
"For leaving the camp and not staying safe."
He couldn't help but let out a laugh. "You're an adult. Yes, I want you to stay safe, but I can't tell you what to do."
Kelvin looked at him, uncertain, but Tim was already digging through his pack, pulling out a piece of cloth. He motioned to Kelvin's injured arm and began carefully tying it into a sling so his arm could rest and heal better.
"Please don't hide things like this. I want to help."
Kelvin nodded, and Tim gave him a quick kiss on the cheek.

Headcanon how Virginia warms up to Tim and Kelvin when they first crashed to the island. She wasn't sure at first and feared they might mistaken her for another hostile creatures just like any cannibals or mutants infesting the island. But she decides to watch them from the time being and slowly building courage to approach them.
Virginia caught glimpses of Tim's tender bonding time with Kelvin as he gradually cleans his ears off and puts medicine on him, seeing Tim gentle gaze on Kelvin being fast asleep when he's on night guard duty or when they are eating together. She even alerted Tim of the cannibals approaching before she took off after she saw Tim vigilantly warding off the cannibals making sure Kelvin wasn't in harm's way. In turn, it makes Virginia more curious and starts to trust them little by little visiting and getting closer to their base. The turning point was her sitting by the campfire and watching them in silence as they scarf down grilled fish Kelvin caught and Tim handing one to her and Virginia carefully takes it.
