~i imagine her whipping out like a dozen family albums and like one of them just full of just being pictures of baby Arthur

~and then eventually he would come home to find his mother and girlfriend on the couch looking at his baby pictures

Lucifer

When you first meet Lucifer, he would definitely be curious about your braids. He wouldn't make a big deal out of it and honestly may just see it as another human custom that's not as prevailent in the Devildom.

As your relationship with him develops, he may show favoritism towards the classic long box braids. The way the braids sway with your every step has him mesmerized.

I think he would complement every style you wear your braids in, but he is a man who loves his classics after all.

Mammon

Mams would be more vocal about his curiousity. He bombards you with questions like: "How long do they take?" "Do you braid them yourself?" (If the answer is no, that you pay someone to braid your hair for you, 9 times out of 10 he's going to ask how much it costs.)

I think he'd be all over a mixed color box braid, especially if you have yellows and golds mixed in! He's totally not biased towards those colors, what are you talking about? Another style I think he would like is yarn braids, once again in yellows and golds.

Leviathan

He would also be very quiet at first. Not because he doesn't like them, but because he's socially awkward and doesn't want to come off as insensitive. He does some research and then comes to you with questions. Please be patient with him, he's anxious.

I think he'd like it if you style your hair in jumbo box braids and lay your edges too. The laid edges remind him of waves (which complement his roll as Grand Admiral of Hell's Navy, but he won't tell you that).

Take him to an appointment to get your hair done or let him join you if you do it yourself. He will be eager to help in any way (if you want him to), but he gets distracted by the techniques used to braid your hair.

Satan

He would be interested in the history of the different braids, even if they aren't styles you usually wear. Like Lucifer, he would enjoy seeing how your hair moves with you as you walk. He won't admit to staring though.

As for his favorite style of box braids, I think he'd show favoritism towards box braids with curly or wavy ends.

He would be one of the most observent if you try something different. Different edge laying product? He will mention it. Go see a new braider? Somehow he is able to differentiate between them.

Asmodeus

Asmo is obsessed with your braids. He wants to know everything including techniques, history, different styles, and other braid styles too. He insists he sits in and watches your hair get braided.

He would love the knotless braids with beads. He would practically beg to pick out beads for your hair (expect there to be multiple beads with different heart styles). If you aren't into beaded styles, I think he would also like if you style your hair in a half up bun or half up space buns!

At some point in your relationship he will drop hints that he wants to learn how to braid. He will be ecstatic if you teach him.

Beelzebub

He just doesn't really notice at first? I wouldn't say he doesn't care, he cares because your hair style is what makes you unique in his eyes. He just sees it as another human characteristic.

Out of the different styles, I think he would prefer the large box braid style. He thinks it frames your face very well.

I can't see him being very involved with your hair if that makes sense. He's chill, "you do you and I'll love you regardless" kind of vibes

Belphegor

Much like his twin, he doesn't really focus on it. However, I think the further your relationship grows with him the more he'll take notice of your different hair styles.

He finds the bohemian box braid style the most visually appealing. He loves the variety that is exentuated in the style. I think he'd also love if you accessorize with hair scarves or bandanas (bonus points if its his color).

I think he'd compliment on each different style you try, but that one will be at the top of the list if you ask him what style you should do next.

Remus loves to run his fingers through it.

It's curly, some days extremely curly and others just wavy. The way Sirius styles it.

She has always tried to grow her hair long and has avoided hairdressers since she moved in with the Potters at 16.

Remus loves to braid Sirius' hair and create the most beautiful hairstyles.

Teddy also loves to style his curls. They have the same stubborn curls as Remus. Teddy likes to experiment with colours, but they never wanted it longer than their chin.

So Sirius was all the more pleased that Stella, their daughter, loves growing her black hair just as much as her mum.

Stella has the same black hair as Sirius.

For some years now, Sirius has favoured expressing her femininity through her hair. They are incredibly important to her and she only allows the most expensive and best hairdressers to work on it and only ever to cut the ends.

Mary set up her own hairdressing business two years ago and even in her apprenticeship, everyone had to put up with it, everyone except Sirius.

Lily only let Mary cut it, but everyone else had to suffer.

Teddy and Mary love to play with their curls together and try out new things.

Peter, James and Remus have had to put up with everything from the weirdest hairstyles to the most hideous colours.

For a (very short) time, Remus had the sides cut short and his locks dyed pink. Mary wanted to give it a try. What his students found particularly funny.

James had to grow his hair long so that Mary could practise better with his hair texture.

Peter, with his blonde hair, was the colour experiment.

Lily had to have her long red hair cut into a bob, she also had fringes and extreme layers.

Dorcas had the best time, Mary was good with her afro and practised, but the worst thing was three months of purple hair.

Emmeline wouldn’t allow her hair for a long time. She wouldn't give up her long black hair for anything in the world. But in the end, she couldn't resist her fiancée either.

Emmy ended up with slight bangs and layers, as well as purple streaks, later green and currently blue.

Marlene was her favourite to practise. From the time Mary started her apprenticeship to the present day, Marlene really has had it all. Any colour, any hairstyle.

Long, short, bangs, layers, buzz cuts, blonde, brown, black, white, purple, colourful, blue, green and everything in between.

But Sirius never let her touch her hair. In all those years, she wasn't even allowed to cut their tips.

Remus knows that Sirius isn't quite so worried about Stella's hair and that's why Mary is coming to cut it today.

But all he knew was that Mary wanted to cut Stella's hair a little shorter. That was all he knew.

Remus was all the more surprised when he came home this Thursday.

He opens the front door and immediately hears ABBA and smells cinnamon and chocolate.

"Daddy!" little mini-Sirius shouts and comes running towards him with his arms outstretched. He immediately wraps his arms around his daughter.

Her previously long black hair now curls around her head, around her ears and stops before her shoulders.

A pink hair clip holds back her curls so that they don't fall into her eyes.

"Look!", the little toddler jumps up and down excitedly and points to her hair. "Mary did this! Now I look like Teddy!"

Giggling, she runs back into the living room, from where Mary and Sirius' voices can be heard.

"Dad!" Teddy appears in front of him out of nowhere. Teddy's previously turquoise hair is now a little shorter and a different colour.

"I've got the Bi Flag on my head!" they announce just as proudly as their little sister. Laughing, they run their fingers through their curls. "Looks cool." As he passes, Remus gives his child a kiss on the head.

Nobody could have prepared him for what awaits him in the living room.

Mary is clearing away her scissors and his wife turns to Remus.

Sirius.

Sirius has had her hair cut.

Remus stands still, frozen. He just blinks for a few seconds.

Sirius has a bob. A bob and bangs. She's had light bangs before, but now she has a full on mom-bob.

"Hi, babe," she greets him, coming up to Remus. "Your hair“, that's all he can get out. It's been over twenty years since he's seen Sirius with hair this short.

"You look like a mom."

Giggling, Sirius presses her lips to Remus' and without thinking about it, he returns the kiss. "That could be because I am one."

Mary proudly crosses her arms and stands next to Sirius. She shakes her head slightly and runs her fingers through her now short hair.

"Do you like it?"

Let's be honest, Sirius could be bold and be the most beautiful person in the world, so Remus really doesn't care about hair.

but

"Yes," Remus breathes out, swallowing hard. His children are here, God damn it! Get a grip, he tells himself.

The length emphasises Sirius' face shape and makes her look really grown up, but also cheeky. And Remus loves his children, more than anything else in this world. But right now, he'd rather they were anywhere but home.

Sirius has never looked so hot. She always looks hot, but just now Remus has fallen in love with her all over again.

Grinning, she turns to Mary and winks at her.

"Good!" Mary announces loudly, "then finally the father of the family."

Quicker than Remus can say "hair", he's sitting in the chair and Mary has her scissors in her hands again. "And do you like the way I've done your family's hair?"

His family.

Remus' heart beats faster every time he thinks about the fact that these three wonderful people are his family. "Yes."

rhaenys. tanned/olive skintone. takes more after jocelyn than aemon, but got aemons pale lilac eye color. not buff, but toned, swimmers build almost. when i read f&b for a sec i misinterpreted rhaenys “hair streaked with white” line as not referencing her age, but as poliosis.

and i think thats a really cool look for her so im keeping it :) if i can get a little anime with it, its reversed in laena and laenor. silver hair with black streaks.

daemon . more silver than gold. pale skin. pale purple eyes. looks just alyssa, big ears, crooked gap-tooth smile. but didnt get her curly hair or freckles. strong but also not built, lithe. for Some Reason having facial hair makes daemon want to die 🤔 so hes obsessive about staying clean shaven no matter where he is. notible then, that while he was hanging around harrenhal waiting for aemond to show up he hadnt shaved in weeks.

rhaenyra . takes more after viserys than aemma, but cooler coloring than him. silver>gold. rich purple eyes. wavy/curly hair. she also got alyssas silly ears and smile through viserys, as well as his sense of fashion. dresses in dramatized valyrian style, not at all historically accurate but looks sick as fuck. canon traits: fat, big nose, long braid, lots of jewelry.

aegon ii and helaena both take more after viserys, aemond and daeron after alicent.

aegon ii . flushed, bloated, alcoholic face. yall know that bit in the beginning of disco elysium when harry stumbles into the bathroom and starts groping his face talking about how much it sucks and how badly it hurts? aegon2s daily morning routine. sallow skin. gold>silver. tries to grow a mustache to look like viserys but he managed to dodge both viserys and ottos facial hair genes, ends up with a little pencil stache. canon trait?: fat

helaena . shorter. rounder face and softer features. pale purple eyes. freckles. crooked gap-toothed smile. wavy/curly hair. canon trait?: fat

aemond . tallest out of anyone here. skinny and lanky. not an ounce of muscle or fat on him. silver>gold. cooler skin tone. freckles?

daeron . i know the book says daeron had the valyrian look but i like thinking that he DIDNT. and thats why he got sent away to military school oldtown. hes kinda fucking with the greens whole “rhaenyra is a SLUT just LOOK at her children its obvious :/“ ive been picturing him with brown hair (from alicent) and purple eyes, but i saw this one fanart where he had the silver hair but green eyes and that looked really cool too. tan skin, freckles. shorter, but strong. curly hair.

baela and rhaena are fraternal twins, not identical. (baela wishes they were identical) they take more after laena than daemon. im kinda thinking about having one of them inherit laenas reverse poliosis, but im not such which. i do think it should be only one of them though.

baela . black/mixed. stockier build. i like the idea of her having short box braids, with the beaded ends. or short twists, especially in this half up style. feels very baela. likes to wear pants+dress like a man. light green/mint jewelry for moondancer, but otherwise doesnt really like to dress up. crooked smile.

rhaena . black/mixed. long goddess/butterfly locs. hair usually done up. always a bunch of jewelry and accessories in her hair. soft flowing fabrics, pastel colors. pink for mo(u)rning, maybe she also wears green for moondancer. lots of jewelry.

jacaerys . out of all of rhaenyras children, including aegon3 and vis2, jace is the one that looks the most like her. little brown haired boy version of nyra. has the valyrian nose if not the colors. wavy hair, not as curly as luke+joffs. darker skin. tall but bad posture so he looks shorter than he is. purpleish brown eye color. able to gain the most muscle.

aegon iii . very skinny. pale, sallow skin, deep set eyes, dark eye bags. straight, lank, hair. cutting scars on his chest. silver>gold but barely even silver, more white. also got alyssas gap toothed smile, but he never smiles so you wouldnt know it. essentially looks like a living ghost. canon traits?: purple eyes so dark they look black.

viserys ii . gold>silver. tan skin. freckles? curly hair. chubby and shorter.

if anyones not mentioned here its either because they died as a child and i dont have any strong opinions about their appearance or i forgor

Have random character references even though I don’t draw and I highly doubt most people care about the information 👍🏻😂

Abel - Dirty blonde hair, light blue eyes, chiseled and weathered face. Muscular but slim, a little shorter than the average Hylian man, very mild tan due to just being out in the sun so much. He mostly burns in the sunlight but he’s cooked himself enough that his skin is attempting to compensate. (Hopefully LoZ has magic skin cream to stave off skin cancer 👍🏻) Has a few scars, including one small one on his chin from being hit in battle. The rest are hidden. Used to keep his face clean shaven and his hair short in his early adulthood. Lost all concern for appearances after the Calamity, his hair is grown a little past his shoulders and he’s constantly got five o’clock shadow because he barely keeps up with shaving. Grew out a beard out of sheer neglect at the beginning but it eventually was itchy and annoying enough that he shaved it.

Was a Knight of Hyrule since he was a teenager. Met his wife on an assignment to Hateno Village. Was part of the entourage selected to go to Zora’s Domain for negotiations. Brought his son, Link, along. Eventually, his skill in battle, leadership, and handling political assignments earned him a position in the Royal guard. He became captain of the royal guard a year before the Calamity.

Tilieth - Light blonde curly hair, brown eyes, freckles, soft and rounded face. Petite build. Has three ear piercings on one ear and two on the other because when she was a teen she heard three piercings was good luck as it symbolizes the golden goddesses, but the third piercing hurt so much she opted out of the other ear and completely forgot to finish the set. Always kept her hair in knotted half up styles with braids until the Calamity. Her hair got caught in debris of demolished buildings and she cut it with a knife and she’s never worn it down since. It’s always in a bun, however messy it might be.

Tilieth was the only daughter of a blacksmith. She loved making things, most especially clothes. She wanted to make clothes for others as well and considered working in the local shop. After getting married she settled for homemaking and was happy with it, though she loved the idea of traveling and seeing everything the world had to offer. She still made clothes too, for family and friends. When Link was little, a bad illness swept through Hateno, and Til caught it. Her parents took care of her while Abel looked after Link and continued with his duties. Once Til recovered and Abel’s mission to the Donain was over, the family got to spend some time together again. Was in Hateno with Lyra and her father when the Calamity struck.

Link, the Hero of Power - Hyrule Warriors Link’s direct predecessor. Half-Sheikah (his dad) half-Hylian (his mom). Platinum blonde hair, red eyes, light brown skin. One of the tallest Links, but slender and stealthy. Always clean shaven. Wore his hair up in a bun.

Not much is known about this Hero by the War of Eras, except that he helped split Ganondorf’s soul to prevent the cycle from continuing. Lana knows a lot more about him than anyone else, though she doesn’t speak of it. Some things that were lost to history included his role in fighting a war against the Gerudo, and his eternal love for the future Gerudo Chief, Hemisi - Ganondorf’s daughter.

Princess Zelda - Also known as the Sacred Diplomat, she is the princess who helped split Ganondorf’s soul in the backstory to Hyrule Warriors. Wavy, shoulder length chocolate brown hair that she often wears in elaborate buns with braids. Somewhat pale complexion, cool skin tone with traditional emerald skin paint that she always wore on her face and neck and arms. Typically wore light blue gowns.

As Queen she unified Hyrule after a bloody war. She is known in history as one of the best of the royal line. She even managed to maintain a shaky neutrality with the Gerudo after the war’s end. She strengthened bonds with the Sheikah through her marriage to one of their own. She is the standard to which many queens are held to. But there is much to her diplomacy that was lost to history.

Chief Hemisi - Leader of the Gerudo after her father’s defeat. Chestnut skin, fiery red mid back length hair that she usually kept in a high bubble ponytail, amber eyes. Six feet tall, very muscular, though not quite to the degree of botw Gerudo women. She had more of a Hylian build, like the Gerudo of OoT. Her ears were pointed, and she had a special earring she always wore that had been given to her by her father. On her other ear she wore an earring decorated with a symbol of the triforce, as she inherited the Triforce of Power after helping defeat her father.

Lost her family to the war that broke out because of Ganondorf. Was in love with Link. Helped defeat her father and seal him away. Was not the same person afterward. Had a twin brother who had been groomed to inherit the throne of the Gerudo, and so she had focused on being a warrior. When her brother was killed in the war alongside her mother, her situation changed quickly. Became chief and helped maintain an uneasy peace between Hyrule and the Gerudo, but did not like or trust the Queen.

Fuckit fancy hairstyles hcs

Mito: actually sick to death of fancy hairstyles. After her marriage to hashirama, she's kept her hair in utilitarian buns and braids, and uses decorations if she wants to pretty them up. No more hours trying to get her hair right, no more pads and hair pieces, she is DONE with hours and hours and multiple people trying to get her hair right. She likes when Hashirama puts living flowers in her hair.

Hashirama: his hair is so silky smooth it denies styling. Nevertheless, he tries, but he's also a bit of a rough and tumbe lad, and often times his carefully prepared styles fall out in the course of being himself. His hair is SO soft.

Tobirama: does not care that it's kind of dubious to cut your hair short, if he feels his own hair on his shoulders he is going to stab something, and no, he cannot "just grow it out". His hair is on the cusp of curly and kind of hard to style, but he puts the effort in to make it look good. Tobirama likes looking good.

Madara: he has. So much hair. And it's thick. Wavy/curly, incredibly stubborn, the best way to deal w it is have it long and braid it away. He very much likes it out, though, it makes him feel big and powerful. It also Looks big and powerful, which is cool. He can do cool fancy styles w it very easily but tends not to bc...why would he bother?

Izuna: low key jealous of how much fluffy hair Madara has. Izuna's is much thinner and silkier, shinier. Beautiful crow feather black. If he could leave it alone like a good boy and do the styles his elders suggest for him, he would be the perfect picture of Uchiha beauty. Unfortunately, izuna is a bit of a rebel when it comes to personal appearance and he likes to do surprising things w himself. He scandalised the elders when he cut the back of his hair short, but at least he didn't take ALL of it off. Later, when he did end up cutting most of his hair off (at 3am in the kitchen, as is proper ♥) his clan members were unsurprised.

he’ll play with it and run his hands through it constantly

he’d be sooo happy if you let him braid it

he definitely remembers how his mom taught him to put up hair

he definitely enjoys being the little spoon but he also tosses and turns so much while sleeping so you have to hold him tight or he’ll end up on the floor

remember in his route where he talks about always wanting a familiar? he still doesn’t realize Mercedes and Melchior are his familiars

if you tell him he will genuinely gape at you

he loves summer and the beach but he BURNS in sun

like bright red skin, sobbing, can’t move type of sun burn

you will absolutely have to use magic to heal him

if he makes a small mistake like accidentally bumping you or forgetting to get you something he will dramatically swoop you up into his arms and kiss you

5'4½ with semi-long, wavy, brunette hair and amber eyes. I have lots of freckles and glasses that have a black, square frame. I usually am seen wearing jeans with a hoodie or sweater shirt, even in Summer. If I'm not wearing that, I'm probably wearing a dress. I have anxiety, but am a lot more outgoing, loud, and honest around people I trust. I'm a cat person and my love language is physical touch/affection. love how you draw hair do you have any headcanons when it comes to hair?

Jackie - I love so much about Jackie and her hair in canon. She cares a lot about it and doesn't let anyone mess with it. When she takes out her scrunchie, it's big and beautiful and by Inez's own words "cool." Not really to do with her hair but I love imagining/drawing her scrunchie as more bow/butterfly like than it is. I already like drawing her hairbun bigger than it is, but I really have to do to compensate for the bow, hahaha. Jackie definitely has the best hair of the main three and probably of anyone in the show. She takes great care and pride in it. It's like one of her many hobbies, her many passions. Her hair is a part of her identity. I hc she would never straighten her hair and the most, ig "extreme" thing she does with it is dye a stripe in it. I like to think as she gets older she gets more bold with hairstyles she tried. I'm still learning about hair with afro texture along with my own hair type so I love thinking about Jackie and her 'do.

Matt - Takes surprisingly good care of his hair. You don't get nice curls like his unless you at least try to upkeep. He really only takes care of his hair bc he feels bad when his mom has to help him, and he feels he looks weird if breaks the curls. He doesn't really care if his hair gets messed up, though. If it's windy or raining or he falls into some mud, well, then them's the breaks. He also really doesn't want anyone to know how much work he puts into his hair. At 11, he's still actively trying to avoid anything that makes him seem too "girly."

Inez - Her hair is naturally wavy, not curly, but wavy. She brushes it out and her mom will straighten her hair. They use protective sprays so it won't damage her hair. When it gets too humid it'll frizz, just like in the show. She straightens her hair just bc it makes it easier to maintain for her. Plus she likes the little outward flip her mom gives the ends of her hair.

Slider - Thick hair with volume but no real curls. He doesn't take care of it so it tends to get greasy, which actually gives it an appealing shine and shape. He's a lucky son of a gun because he'll get up and do nothing to it yet people swoon over it. The most he does is a frequent trim just so it doesn't go past his shoulder, which is why he has a bit of an awkward straight cut at the ends.

Creech - Yes, that's her natural color. I imagine her hair doesn't have real strands but is one mass on her head bc of the markings on it. It's like a doll with rubber hair but maybe much softer. She doesn't have to take care of it at all except for the occasional polish! It takes a lot of work to change her hairstyle which is why it's such a simple bob when she's little.

Shari - I'll be honest, I can't make heads or tails of her hair. They're probably supposed to be dreads or braids but it's so stylized it's almost impossible to see. Her bangs look flat, so it makes all the other strands feel flat to me. If she were borg [or, at least if I saw her as borg] I'd say they're computer ribbons. They're more than likely dreads or braids, though, which I think I've read are styles that can be worn a long time with low maintenance. Sounds perfect for the busy magic student!

Wicked - Big beautiful red hair and you better believe she takes good care of that shi. It has big waves, not curls, partly because they're being weighed down by the sheer amount of it. Her hair is surprisingly low maintenance, but there are days where even magic can't save it. I actually don't have a lot to say about her hair but... I'm love it... I'm love she. 🥺Oh, also the way I draw her bangs is inspired by Ariel, hahaha!

(Everyone) What's you guys' favourite drinks?

- The Islanders rely on their favourite beverages to take them through the demanding task of entertaining parkgoers. Some other fun facts:

- Stealth will only drink Coca-Cola out of glass bottles. "The plastic ones just aren't as cool!"

- Colossus also likes bubble tea. Her favourite flavour is vanilla, but it's pretty uncommon in the stores, so she tends to settle for taro. She tried making it herself once, but it ended in disaster. The Lost City folks and her have wonderful tea parties every week!

- Saw is lactose intolerant, but also allergic to soy, so his go-to alternative is oat. In fact, if he can't have oat milk in his coffee for whatever reason, he'd rather just get tea.

- Xavier's drink is a whisky on the rocks with a bit of still lemonade. They're very particular about most things, and also likes to talk to the night bartender. Who knows why Derren's having a coffee at this time of night, though.....

Today while cleaning out an old drawer of things, I found this pair of hair ties. they are black and stretched out, close to breaking.

these hair ties belonged to a young girl. she had long, brown hair that her grandmother would always tell her was "so gosh darn pretty" and that she would "cast a spell to steal it all away, and we will swap hair". the girl always giggled and brushed the hair away from her face, tucking it behind her ears. always out of the way.

the girl loved her hair. wanted to grow it out, always long long long. she would braid the ends (only the ends) and twist pencils in it during class so that her hair would be curly when she took the pens and pencils out. she would wash it and sleep with it in two twin braids, so that when she woke up the next morning her hair would be beautifully wavy. she always struggled to get the braids right when doing it herself.

one summer, she forgot to brush her hair over and over. it took a whole day for her dad to get all the tangles out. she never forgot to brush her hair again, constantly thinking about how much it hurt to untangle hee thick hair.

this little girl loved her hair. she always wore it down, only putting it up in a bun or in a ponytail when she was at home. she loved to put it in braids and she loved when her mom used her flat iron to curl it into loose springs.

this little girl was always told how she was so smart, so talented, so nice, so *gifted*. this little girl who never missed a mark on a test and always wanted people to be happy. this little girl who disliked wearing dresses as she got older, because she felt out of place.

this girl who started wearing jeans and hoodies instead of leggings and tank tops. this girl who started wearing more androgenous clothing instead of dresses and skirts. this girl who started to hate her hair, in it's twin braids. this girl who stopped carrying around hair ties and cut off her hair, all on her own.

this girl who wanted to be a boy.

they're both absolutely horrible at asking for affection but with how much time they've spent together they've both kinda learned each other's "tells". they're both awful at initiating anything (gill especially) but they both found its a little bit easier with each other.

also while actually doing anything vaguely romantic is a lil overwhelming for both of them, they look at each other CONSTANTLY. absent-mindedly at breakfast, sitting across the table from one another. in the middle of a battle, making sure the other is okay. maybe longingly from across the deck, just noticing the way the sunlight makes the other look prettier somehow. bonus points if neither of them realize they do it.

ik the "jay builds while gillion trains" is a bit but also that's straight up just parallel play. they totally use it as an excuse to just Be Around Each Other even if gill sometimes accidentally breaks jay's shit

they do each other's hair a lot (with bonus hc: hair is super super important in undersea culture and having someone else do your hair is considered a very intimate thing). idk whether or not gillion would've told jay that at any point, but the first time she asked he was just like 0/////0

What would they look like?

A/n: I could not find any name for Lúsion’s mother, so I got creative and decided to stick with my headcanon of Lëa-vinya being his mother.

All the Valar take on physical form when they wish to walk amongst the elves. Many, save for those like Makar and Meássë, even let their ears take on a leaf-like appearance, similar to those of the elves.

Ilinsor: In corporeal form, Ilinsor stands seven feet tall. As a Súru, his skin is alabaster white, with delicate swirls of lace-like silver tattooing all over his body. The ones on his face are like an elaborate mask, with more patterns depicting the winds framing his forehead and eyes. He also has a large pair of wings that are white and blue-grey in color.

Ilinsor has brilliant silver eyes that glitter like stars, especially in the dark. He has lustrous, wavy hair the color of molten silver that falls up to his waist. As a spirit of the air, he prefers soft robes in white and various shades of gray. Sometimes, he will add something blue, like a brooch, arm cuffs, or sash, to his attire.

Nornorë: In corporeal form, he stands at seven feet nine inches. Much like those who serve the Elder King, he too has wings. Nornorë’s wings are white, silver, and a dark gray-blue color, similar to those of a peregrine falcon. He is lithe and lean, and his skin is a glorious russet brown.

Nornorë has no markings on his person. He does love adornments, though, and will often wear yellow-gold jewels on his ears and throat and wrists, mainly to bring out the gold in his eyes. As both the Elder King’s herald and warrior, he wears short-sleeved, knee-length tunics, with a specially made golden cuirass to go over them.

Telimektar: As the son of Tulkas and Nessa, Telimektar is a mixture of both his mother and father when he takes corporeal form. His strawberry blonde hair is thick and straight, often braided and coiled and kept out of the way. Telimektar is broad-shouldered and strong like his father, and is one of the tallest amongst the Gods, standing at eight and a half feet tall. He has the same ruddy skin as his father, and the golden eyes of his mother. Like his parents, he has markings all over his body, all in gold.

Telimektar wears leather breeches and either sleeveless or short-sleeved tunics of soft wool. He sees little need for jewels, preferring to wear a thick, wooden ring during feasts.

Lúsion: He is the same height as his father, and as powerfully built. This is where the physical similarities end. Lúsion has a warm, tawny complexion and jet eyes. He has his mother Lëa’s dark, curly hair, which he keeps tied in a thick bun that has been secured at the back with a hair stick wrought in gold.

His choice of garments and armor is the same as that of his father. Leather breeches and woolen tunics are his choice for raiment, and he has multiple piercings all along his ears for tiny gold-hoop earrings.

Makar: Makar is the second most muscular and tallest amongst the Gods, standing just two inches short of Tulkas, at eight feet and ten inches. He has alabaster skin and hair that is true crimson in color. He keeps it loose and lets it grow only an inch or two below his shoulders. His eyes are like molten gold, sharp and impatient, and his ears are shaped like those of a wolf: triangle-shaped and rounded across the top.

Makar prefers hunting leathers, pelts and furs. Most of it is from animals he had hunted in the forests of the Great Lands. While he wears no jewels, he does have several markings all over his body: gold and crimson lattice-like swirls, along with bows and arrows and various beasts.

Meássë: She is lean and shorter than her twin, standing at seven feet when in physical form. Meássë too possesses alabaster skin, but her hair is more auburn than a true red. She has clear, emerald-green eyes and a sprinkling of golden freckles along her cheeks and an upturned nose. Her ears are shaped like those of a lion, more round and upright than pointed and long.

Just like her twin, she prefers leathers, pelts and furs, but for feasts, she will garb herself in robes of fine wool. Meássë’s most favorite adornment is a gold circlet she wears on her brow. She has a single gold and crimson tattoo covering the expanse of her back, that of a great lion she killed during her first hunt in the forests of the Great Lands.

Nielíquie: She is the smallest amongst the Gods, standing only at five feet six. Her fawn skin always stands out against luscious umber curls that fall around her head and shoulders like a cloud, and her beaten gold eyes are considered to be her most striking feature.

Nielíquie prefers sheer silken wisps in warm, earthy colors that end mid thigh, as she loves to dance. She will never say no to adornment either, often wearing intricate jewelry made out of bones and ivory. She has markings on her arms, thighs, and forehead, all in shades of green, and all of the trees, flowers, birds and animals found in her lord father’s forests.

Tevildo: His physical appearance and choice of garments are mentioned in detail in this post.

Salmar: He is taller than his sibling, standing at seven feet, and broad. Salmar has spun gold hair, and his mellow, sandy skin has sprinkles of tiny gold freckles. His eyes are a soft, buttery-yellow that turn to gold when he is seated beneath the leaves of Laurelin.

His robes are almost always ivory and gold, and the sleeves are slashed up the arms to allow him freedom to move when he plays the lyre. He wears a gold circlet with a cluster of blooms found on Laurelin picked out in yellow gems set in the center. He has no markings on his person.

Ómar (Amillo): When in corporeal form, Ómar stands at six foot six. Unlike his brother, his skin is the color of a pearl, and his hair is a deep silver. Ómar has soft, dove-grey eyes. He has markings of the same shade. These are lace-like scroll work covering most of his arms and torso and legs and forehead, along with Valarin symbols and musical themes, to signify his mastery over language and song.

He prefers flowing velvet robes in black and various shades of grey, and he wears several pieces of silver jewelry, most notably a ring and wrist cuffs with more Valarin symbols engraved onto them.

Aluin: The Valar of Time rarely journeys to Arda. If he does, he takes on the form of a lithe, mature, sophisticated being that is middle-aged. His hair and beard is mostly white or gray, and he has clear white and grey eyes. He stands tall at seven feet eight, but unlike his children, his bone-white skin is covered in swirls and strange valarin symbols that signify his lordship over time.

His robes are always black and steely grey, and he wears no adornments.

Fanuin, Ranuin, and Danuin: As they represent various aspects of their father, the Lord of Time, the siblings look neither ancient nor young. They are all physically robust, but their eyes, despite being of different colors, all hold boundless depths of wisdom.

Danuin is the oldest of three, but he is also the shortest, standing at five feet ten when in physical form. His skin is pale, but his hair (which is always kept short), and eye color change depending on the time and the era. Before the destruction of the trees, they would turn into various shades of silver or gold. After the destruction of the two trees and the new lights were set in Ilmen, they would change the hour of the day and night.

Ranuin stands at six feet in corporeal form, and his skin is pale as well. Before the destruction of the trees, his shoulder-length hair and eye color remained a constant shade of green. After the new lights brought about the changing of seasons, his hair and eye color changes according to the seasons as well: various shades of green for spring, golden and yellow during the summer months, vivid shades of red and orange during autumn, and grey and white for winter.

Fanuin is the tallest, and stands at seven feet. His skin, too, is pale, and because he represents years, his eyes are a shimmery gray, and his waist-length hair is white.

The brethren all garb themselves in flowing, floor-length robes that drag behind them when they walk. Danuin’s robes are gold and yellow during the day and black and blue at night. Ranuin chooses robes to match the colors of each season. Fanuin always selects robes that are various shades of white and gray in color. None of the brothers have markings on their person, and their adornments are circlets with gems that match the color of their robes.

Silmo: Slender and graceful, Silmo stands at seven feet nine, and his skin is like finely polished obsidian. His walnut hair is cropped short, and his eyes, which are usually grey, turn silver when he is beneath the leaves of Silpion. Because he served Irmo, he bore great silver-grey moth-like wings.

Silmo adorns himself in silver cuffs, torques, and earrings, and his robes are, more often than not, silver and black velvet as well.
