What to do when you can’t sleep

Well, there’s so many reasons why we can’t sleep at night but it’s really a pain-in-the-butt when work is waiting for the next day. So here we go.
1. Proper breathing
The proper inhale-exhale exercise can make a difference and I tried to apply it for my insomnia attacks. It worked for me. Yay! 
2. Change of Position
If proper breathing didn’t worked, then I’ll go for the change in sleep position.  Just a simple change on where my head is facing really helps a lot of times.
3. Taking of Pills
Occasionally, I can figure out why I can’t sleep. Sometimes, it’s an allergy from the food I ate during the day. If this happens, I just take my anti-allergy pill and it makes me sleep. 
4. Drink plenty of Water
Dehydration could sometimes be the cause. And besides, nothing is wrong with taking a lot of fluids.
5. Mind conditioning
The power of the mind as they say. When I tried all the other tips and nothing happened, then I’ll go for this last tip that is proven effective for me. I say these thoughts out loud in my mind: “I will live and not die”, “It’s not just me who experiences this”, “better days are ahead of me”. I need to counter attack all the negative thoughts and replacing them with a good one. 
All of us experienced having hard time sleeping. Some might just experienced it for a few times but some has worst and lasted for months just like me. But I discovered the secrets how to overcome them. I hope these will help you too.
