we need more fresh-out-of-the-pit aurora. i see so much newly summoned phantom and about how he's left out and confused and just wants to please his packmates and like YES absolutely but what about rory?!?!??! (under the cut because i went on a tangent)

first of all - her summon !!

phantom and aurora being bonded summon buddies means everything to me so yes they got summoned together in the same circle no i won't take criticism yes they're in love in every way possible

rory refuses to look at anyone but phantom for the first few days, no one can even get a good look at her face. the girls take her on the tour of their part of the den and all that but she looks at the ground the whole time and escapes to her room until phantom is done getting the tour and they hide together. she only wears his clothes (aka swiss' old clothes but she doesn't know that yet) for ages and they'll venture out together to get food and maybe explore their new environment a bit but apart from that you don't see them.

but then how about a bit after her summon when she gets more used to things? what about her being so tiny? in the pit it had its positives but topside? she's still getting used to everything being so big. she has no concept of fashion or hair or makeup so when she sees cumulus and her beautiful white curls she decides i want to do that! and lus ends up having to brush out all the knots she made for an hour. or how about this - she's absolutely TERRIFIED of the older ghouls. aether and omega? she is kind of used to. zeyphr? not yet. alpha? absolutely not. after only knowing of her own small multi ghoul size and her pale pink complexion her whole life in the pit, how do u expect her to react to the massive, grey skinned fire ghoul? that's a trick question, she won't deal with him. she disappears into thin air (she's half air ghoul!!!!) everytime she sees him.

but that's just the silly stuff, what about the angst???

seeing how close cirrus and cumulus are and desperately wanting to impress them, but overdoing it and embarassing herself so she doesn't talk to anyone but phantom for a week and the girls are so upset that she's back to square one?

or during that week - not being able to talk to phantom as much as she's like because aether has him practicing so much and she's still slightly intimidated by the older ghoul so she doesnt wanna annoy him by stealing away his student so she seeks out mist - the solitary ghoulette who only really hangs out by the shore occasionally - but mist wasn't even aware there was a new ghoulette so she freaks out at the sight of rory and rorys left all alone with no clue how to make friends

or her returning back to the abbey hours later when everyone was stressing about where the fuck the tiny ghoulette disappeared to and turns out she got lost in the forest trying to find flowers for the girls as an apology because she saw mountain give them bouquets and she's covered in scratches and mud and bug bites and her hair is full of leaves and sticks and she's sobbing her eyes out and phantom runs over to her and won't let anyone near her for the whole evening and snaps at anyone who comes too close

but eventually aether gets them both to calm down and the girls bring aurora into their part of the den and clean her off (with phantom there watching over her the whole time because he's not that calm yet) and tell her she doesn't have to impress them and put cream on all her bites and braid her hair and tell her how pretty she is and how they're so happy she's here and eventually swiss pulls phantom away to talk to him about not trying to murder his packmates over aurora because none of them are going to hurt her (phantom saw aurora being upset because she got lost looking for stuff for the girls and immediately thought they did it on purpose) and when he leaves the girls make a big pile of pillows and blankets and lay her down and let her get all her feelings out

and she's on her side and cirrus is at her back and cumulus at her front and sunny at her feet and they're all whispering sweet nothings to her as she cries silently at how comforting it all feels and falls asleep to lus humming a tune and wakes up and the whole pack sit down in the morning to talk it all through 💕💕💕💕

oh yes and she definitely saw cirrus eating salad one day and then mountain took her to the flower field just beyond the greenhouse and turned away for 2 seconds and she started trying to eat all the flowers because she thought that's what cirrus' salad was made out of

SO. setting i imagine is similar to typical vat7k BUT a little darker and more dystopian. think steampunk industrial stuff... which i know hugo's kingdom is already like lol but just imagine it like. in a lot more places. this is basically a "steampunk" au too

robots are VERY common. invented by a group of scientists with the main ones being donella and ulla

robots are used as service etc etc. theyre not sentient at all so this isnt like. some unethical practice

but ulla and donella are OBSESSED with making them more and more advanced, theyre besties and all that. but ulla is Particularly obsessed with making the Perfect Robot

we know that ulla is kind of messed up in the head. in this au she kind of messes way too much with robot sentience WHILE ALSO getting obsessed with the eternal library. same stuff happens eventually. donella and ulla fight about the eternal library etc etc

BUT ALSO... ulla is working on her Magnum Opus. a son for her and her husband, who she is making to be the perfect robot. quirin is unaware of the shit shes doing and fully trusts her and supports this passion project

and well! she does make the first Sentient Robot. with the use of science and Magical Knowledge she was able to basically give life force through magical means into the robot. The robot of course she named varian. and not only is he sentient, but he looks completely human

she did some messed up stuff tho! again! she's programmed him with fake memories so he thinks he has lived a life fully as a human. he's also programmed to not notice things like the small seams on his body and all that. like his code just immediately disregards all that

anywaysss. after ulla disappears, quirin is dedicated to taking care of varian. he figures it's best to follow with ulla's choice of making sure varian doesnt know hes a robot

MEANWHILE ! because of the schism between ulla and donella, there was some wack shit that happened. namely robots going completely crazy. now all robots are Murder Robots. so the world is pretty Dystopian at the moment

Varian decides he wants to go out and find the source of what made the robots go crazy. bc this sucks lol. like everyone is Just Miserable

so he meets his friends. nuru, yong, hugo!

LETS TALK ABOUT HUGO

hugo works for donella. hugo also absolutely HATES robots. the robots have been messing shit up since he was a kiddo

he's kind of like a robot hunter. harvesting them for parts as well as getting rid of them bc theyre dangerous. usually donella directs him to different missions. and now shes telling him to join this guy (varian) bc she wants the secrets that ulla had hidden and varian is sure as hell after them

sooooo at one point. varian gets hurt maybe, or interacts with something that breaks the code in him or whatever. the code that stops him from noticing his robotic qualities. i think he probably would get super injured and like. he and all his friends stare in shock and horror as some sort of gash or sparks or whatever show a metallic inside

they all find out he's a robot together weeeee. no one is having a good time

so he's living with existential crisis. he's away from his dad so he cant travel all the way back to be like hey What The Fuck. AND he's still dedicated to his goal. but now he's just. confused, scared, and unsure if he's worthy of his humanity that he thought he had

they all try to work with this new discovery (which i think would happen earlier on rather than way later). hugo especially is like. having a crisis. bc he's always hated robots and for good reason. but varian... varian is SO human. he thinks, he feels, he cares, etc. he's more Human than a lot of the Flesh and Blood people he's been around

so you know, hugo starts to fall in love with him anyway. lots of excellent scenes of him helping varian with his mechanics, etc

and of course varian starts falling in love with him too, but is dealing with a lot of confusion as well. like is he even real, doesnt hugo deserve to be loved by a Human and not a Robot, etc etc

okay i was thinking about this meme earlier and it really ground my gears bc its like... not true?

like first of all ik this is a little hyperbole and Not Exact but i still wanna talk about it a lil.

so like first of all the concept art i think this is based off is very early when elsa was the villain and looked a lot different to anna and anna looked the same but her silhouette was different

and it does look cool and i do love it but this doesn't fit the direction the film went it so they changed it.

and you wanna know what much later concept art looked like?

kinda exactly like the film. bc the concept art changes. and its the same for other disney films.

here's some tarzan early concept art vs the later ones

the beast looks like a completely different species here than the completely different species he is in the later ones.

and like ik the frozen one is more dramatic of a change but the point is they all change for reasons and so does the plot and the actors and the script and everything changes.

but also like idk if Frozen is the film you wanna go for when you're talking about boring character design. so lets go through elsa and anna's journeys (just frozen 1 bc its 3am and im tired i just can't sleep until i finish this rant).

so the first time we see elsa and anna are at 7 and 5 years old respectively. as you can see, they both wear clothes simmilar to clothes theyre gonna wear later in the film. elsas clothes, hair, and colour scheme are very similar to what she transforms into at the end of let it go: hair braided and a very simple light blue dress. anna's look reflects her at elsa's coronation: a green dress with her hair tied back.

if we look at elsa at her coronation, it's very different from what she wears from the rest of the film. it's still got shades of blue, but they're all much darker and it contains 2 colours she will never wear again in the enterity of the franchise, let alone the film: black and purple. it's also the only time that she wears something that covers her from neck to toe. in addition, her hair is pinned up. to me this represents her repression of her power at the fear that she can't use them or she'll hurt someone or worse: anna.

lets move on to what anna wears at the coronation. its like a final evolution of the same dress she's been wearing the whole time. this shows that she hasn't really had to repress and can continue being her true self at the coronation. im gonna move on quickly because theres something more exciting that happens to anna's look very quickly

SHE'S WEARING A MORE CORMFORTABLE AND SLIGHTLY BLUER VERSION OF ELSA'S CORONATION DRESS! AHHH I LOVE THIS DESIGN SO MUCH EVEN HER HAIR IS DOWN HOW CAN ANYONE HATE THIS FILM'S CHARACTER DESIGN.

its like a tactic when you're finding someone to ask yourself "what what they do?" you put yourself in their shoes and try and see things from their point of view. anyways anna is doing that with her clothes and its might be my favourite costume from the films? she wants to find elsa and help her and isn't scared of elsa even so much that she wants to be her. it's just so good. anyways moving on

THIS iconic masterpiece. what the discourse is all about. like obviously it's less extravagant than the concept art but first of all the details? the snowflakes coming up from the dress? my girl just learned how to make dresses and already made a masterpiece with ICE! but then also this is representing her being someone who she couldn't have been since she was 7! imagine that! having to repress who you are, not being able to explore yourself and your abilities because you're scared it could hurt someone. and if elsa wasn't taught to be scared of her powers she wouldnt have tried to push anna way and freezing her heart and i just went far off topic.

but anyways this is like kinda why i hate this discourse bc yeah the original wouldve looked cooler but cooler doesnt mean better for the film and i also might have a small special interest in frozen who knows

when memories snow (more mitski mm also i got tickets for her tour and i will not shut up ab it!!! she’s so cool!!!!!!!) is incredibly tim coded. the very sinister chords at the chorus, really makes you *feel* him spiralling - and the LYRICS ugh very ‘i’m trying to ignore/suppress my memories but they keep coming back against my will’ slash ‘bottling up all my feelings and forging on with my work. pretending they don’t exist’

hate yourself by tv girl is very nina x kate (in the sense of kate watching nina destroy herself for a man who does not even like her) ough. ‘i think you’d fall in love with anyone who fell in love with you / and they frequently do’ BC KATE DID!! kate fell in love with her!! also ‘i’ll just wait til those arms belong to me’ is so subtly manipulative which is very. yeah. kate’s definitely not perfect and i wouldn’t put her above being like that if she really wanted to. + the deceptively happy instrumental with vaguely dark lyrics = nina being overly outgoing and social to make up for the fact that her mental state is in absolute shambles (poor bby)

the wolf by siamés is both tim and brian but i think leans more brian (what is it with this man that makes me think of ‘walking music’. ykwim? the chain, the wolf, house of the rising sun all remind me of him. all very slow-threatening-determined-walk songs) once again, driving beat, heavy bassline. (i play bass guitar so i love a song w an interesting bass part) i think shows resilience as well as grounding - imo he’s always been one of the more mature / level-headed creeps, to the point he’s very self aware. this man knows exactly what he’s doing at all times. ‘somewhere far away i can hear your call’ even in the future when he thinks he’s escaped from slender he knows deep down he’ll never be truly free…. yes ok

keep myself alive by get scared for jane. she’s so angry - AS SHE SHOULD BE and i feel it’s just a audible version of her rage. ‘i just wanna leave this place behind / everytime i see your face in mine’ because her and jeff have the same burned face thing going on…….. ough. she can never escape from the man who ruined her life. the guitar shifting from this melancholy, reverb-y tone in the verses to the loud distortion in the chorus reflecting her mood shifting from self-pity to raw anger

when memories snow for tim is soooo real. i associate him with a longing for life before slendy, while also repressing it cuz it hurts knowing itll never ever come back. going to bars, hanging out in his friends apartments, going to class, late night driving... "I shovel all those memories, clear the path to drive to the store" i think even the imagery of him shoveling snow out of a driveway gives off that sort of strong, cold idea of him. and 'drive to the store' obv being...proxy work... SO SAD

ALSO FUCK NINAKATE MENTION IM IN TEARS ok listen. theyre both really bad. and i super agree that kate might be a bit deceptive and manipulative (intentionally or not) cuz she wants nina to completely remove jeff and take his place (NOT HIS ROLE, just his place in ninas arms). also "how long will it take before you start to hate yourself and go straight to the arms of someone else" i think its undeniable that ninas obsession with romance is related to her own self image, and kate doesnt really like herself that much either. also im absolutely in love with how you take the sound itself into account, not just lyrics. the way you explain the wolf connecting to brians determination, reslience, and grounding presense is SOOO PERFECT and i can see it in the first few lyrics as well. the also "sneaking in the pain, every truth becomes lie / i wont trust myself once i hear your call" THATS TIM AND BRIAN COME ON GUYS DO YOU HEAR THIS

also i love keep myself alive. i heavily agree she has every right to be angry, and thats a core part of her character - rage, grief, strength. "to sleep i of course think i'm stronger now / to sleep i gotta catch myself" im crying. the sleep menton + she feels alone. she has a support system, a literal wife, but she still holds all of her grief on her own shoulders. who the fuck else can relate to being violently stalked for months, walking in on your parents being tortured together, being attacked, nearly burnt alive, then LOSING your parents? also "how could this dark cloud make me stronger now" i think a lot of people would have told her that her experience made her a survivor and made her strong and whatnot. but i dont think she feels that way. i think she feels like a victim, she feels tortured, she feels like that same little girl who'd sleep in her parents bed after a nightmare - but this isnt a nightmare she can wake up from. her parents bed burnt to ashes. there is relief in just letting yourself grieve and hurt - but she's so beyond focused on being strong. and it doesnt make sense to her. doesnt make sense how she can be strong after all of that . but she is, cuz she has to be

okk so just quick disclaimer beforehand, i dont know shit about figure skating except the very very basics (like what type of jumps and stuff) so if smth is incorrect or doesnt make sense its bcs of that haha also as always im hopelessly overpowered :D

In my dr im a figure skater from Germany, i was born in early 2007 and did ballet from when i was like 3 (thats canon btw i did that in my cr too haha) but then quickly got impatient and kinda bored with it (also canon, i regret stopping tho) and my parents put me into figure skating and gymnastics instead. since in my hometown there isnt really a big figure skating team (there is one but its not good ngl) i scripted that my now coach saw me by coincidence and decided i had talent and she wanted to coach me. I can do more on my coach if you guys want to btw its kinda a whole (unfinished) story (shes an oc).

So then she started coaching me in 2014, after a lot of convincing from me towards my parents cos they didnt actually want me to become a professional skater cos its obviously not the healthiest thing to do but after I saw Yulia at the 2014 Olympics I begged my parents to let me get private lessons until they gave in (yulia is kinda my role model and i wanna be like her)

I have an unfinished list of my senior competitions here (for the sake of plot i kinda made it so the covid restrictions on the 2020/21 season didnt happen for the junior competitions, only seniors, also kamila and i dont compete together before the olympic season) and yes ofc i win everything bcs as i said op af (also i know some of the competitions overlap so idk how im gonna do that yet, if anyone has an idea pls feel free to tell me haha)

for jumps i have all quads (yes including 4A cos im just that good lmao) and im playing with the idea (actually i put it already but its prolly impossible so im unsure if i should put it) of scripting i have a quintuple jump as well at some point.

Im really not knowledgeable on different spins i just scripted theyre centered and i dont have a lot of movement on the ice during them idk if thats how you say it but like i spin in one place and dont move to the left or right a ton

Then like some stuff that goes without saying, i have good technique, i dont get hurt badly, i dont have any long term problems from professional skating, stuff like that

My s/o is ilia malinin but since hes born in 2004 we dont get together for a while. We meet either at a competition or during my exchange year in the us in 2024 (my host family lives in the same state he does and we train at the same rink while im there) and then like slowburn friends to lovers pining everyone-knows-except-them kinda stuff (i really do love torturing myself in that aspect apparently)

Notes: Here you go! Sorry this took a while, I’m in a bit of a slump atm. But god, this was really easy for me to write because honestly, relatable. Which is depressing, but I’m glad I could put it to use to write this.

Part two

Billy had some feeling inside of a him, an anxious pit in his stomach. He’s know something was wrong with his girlfriend for a while now, but… she wasn’t saying anything.

When he said “anything”, he meant it. (Y/N) had started spending more time with friends and now he barely saw her. Normally, Billy would cut his losses, go talk to some other girl. But… he couldn’t stop thinking. Did he do something? Was there someone else? (That thought in particular made his stomach churn)

He couldn’t stand it, so within an hour he was outside her house.

“Billy?” He heard her, turning around so he could look at her. He loved looking at her. “Billy, what are you doing here?”

“I’m not allowed to want to see my girlfriend?” He joked, but almost froze when he saw her bristle at the word ‘girlfriend’.

“I.. I was just at Nancy’s.” She said. Billy tried to interpret her tone. Was it an explanation? An excuse? Just the first awkward thing that she could think to say?

He missed the time, only a week or so again, when they could speak about everything. When they knew exactly what their lives were like.

“I need to talk to you.” He finally said after a moment of unbearable silence where (Y/N) was fidgeting in front of him.

The fidgeting disappeared, and she got still. “Okay.” Her tone shifted. He expected her to be nervous, but she just sounded… expectant. “We can talk inside.”

She sat down on her couch, looking up at him. “So?” She asked him.

“I…” He said, beginning to get a little frustrated with his girlfriend. “What’s going on with you.”

“What do you mean?” She asked, but he wasn’t fooled. Her expression was crestfallen when he had asked her that.

And now he was even more frustrated. “You know what I mean. We never spend any time together, you’re always with your friends. You’ve barely spoke to me this week!” He had tried to avoid raising his voice… But when he was finally letting his feelings out he couldn’t help himself.

He regretted it when he saw (Y/N) flinch, the idea he scared her truly painful for him.

“I’m sorry.” She responded. “I just…”

“Is there someone else?” He was disgusted with how pathetic his voice sounded. If it was anyone else he would be furious, but with her it just felt like he was begging her to tell him there wasn’t.

And she did. “No!” (Y/N) exclaimed. “Of course not. You know I wouldn’t do that!”

She sighed, rubbing her hands. “I though you were going to do this first.”

“What?” He asked, and then scoffed when he realized what she was saying. “You thought… you wanted me to break up with you?”

“I’m sorry. But, I just.” She slumped on her couch under his disbelieving stare. “It’s not your fault, I just don’t feel anything romantic for you anymore.”

“Just like that?” His voice was almost a whisper. “You can do that?” His throat was dry, and he could feel himself starting to tear up. He forced the feeling down as he waited for a response.

“I’m sorry.” She did sound sorry, but she also sound like a weight had been taken off her chest. Billy, alternatively, felt like that weight had been thrown onto him.

She got up, walking to her door. “I thought it would be easier for you if you thought it was your idea to break up.”

“So you just avoided me?” He asked, starting to leave. Not wanting her to see how hurt he was.

“And I… I thought with some distance I could change how I felt, go back to normal.” Her confession made him feel almost empty. “But… I don’t love you anymore. Sorry.”

He laughed bitterly. “Amazing.” He said, sarcastically. Anger was the only thing he allowed himself to feel. “This has been great. Goodbye.”

“Goodbye.” She said softly as he stormed off.

He slammed his hand on the dashboard as soon as he got in the car. “Fuck!” He yelled, feeling the tears starting to stream down his face.

Part of him wanted to back inside, to pathetically beg her to take him back. If she just gave him another chance, he was sure he could make her love him like he loved her.

Another part of him wanted to make her regret this. To find some other girl and make her jealous. Prove that he was too good for her. But he knew he wasn’t. And he knew that he wouldn’t be able to be with another girl without thinking about (Y/N).

Honestly, he didn’t know what he was going to do.

Eddie will has a bat quirk (of course) maybe something like hawks or tokoyami, or maybe something like he has to consume blood to use his quirk? (because he is a "villain")

Steve is complicate, because his thing is that he´s strong, but i like to think that something like kirishima´s quirk? you know, to protect people, maybe he can deflect blows to him? but that sounds weird

Robin maybe will has a support quirk, because she´s clumsy and can´t run. She can see patterns or something like that? or see a bit of the future, like nighteye and because that she is so nervous??

And Nancy maybe something she didnt used for combat until she needed it? I was thinking on perfect aim and she used it for take photos but taking photos is a jonathan thing so im not sure

First off, never apologize for your English!! I can understand you just fine + it's not my first language either so I could never judge you ;) I wanna give you a well-thought answer because I love this input!

Eddie Munson Quirk: bloodsucker. The name is pretty self-explanatory, his quirk is activated by drinking the tiniest amount of blood but the more he drinks it, the stronger he gets. He hasn't discovered yet all the powers he could get but some of those include: super hearing, getting a pair of bat wings, sharper teeth and fangs, and becoming a full bat. Weaknesses: the more bat-alike powers he gets, he also gets deficits like bad eyesight, being weaker under the sunlight, the inability to speak (he can only make high-pitched noises) and a desire to hunt hard to control. Hero costume: obviously, he has a black cape, not only for the aesthetic but also to protect him from the sun. His belt is equipped with blood vials ready to be drank and a pair of glasses to help him out when his eyesight gets worse. Other notes: if the need for blood (like Toga) wasn't enough to make him villain-like, losing control and going full predator scares people off. He has never hurt anyone but one time he got pretty close. He isn't bloodthirsty when in human form, but the more blood he drinks the more blood he wants.

Steve Harrington Quirk: magnetic force. Steve can make his whole body turn into steel but also attract any type of metal around him. He uses his quirk to attract the enemies or their attacks toward him and then absorbs them in his steel form. The steel form also makes him stronger. Weaknesses: he can hold his steel form only for a certain amount of time. The magnetic power still works when he's in human form, only weaker. He takes a bad habit to attract and take hits for his allies even if he can't use the steel form to absorb them. Hero costume: he's equipped with metal bracelets he can throw to his enemies in case they have no metal on them: they latch to arms/legs and then Steve can use his quirk on them. Other notes: being used to taking hits for others, he has a high tolerance for pain. He's stubborn and doesn't listen when people tell him to take it easy, Robin especially because she can predict when Steve will go too far. His blood contains high levels of iron, so it's very nutritious for Eddie.

Robin Buckley Quirk: Oracle. Her quirk is still a mystery to her and her doctors. She gets prophetic messages in her head but they're hard to decipher so she spends most of her time in the library trying to solve the riddle in her head. She can sense the immediate intentions of people when they're about to make a decision and whatever the consequences will be. Weaknesses: her quirk is unpredictable, time and mind consuming. Her prophecies could be about a new Villain as much as about what she should get for dinner, but she never knows until she deciphers the clues. Her quirk isn't much help on battlegrounds so she usually stays back and gives advice based on the intentions she feels coming from the enemy. Hero costume: she carries a crystal ball which is completely useless but adds to the aesthetic. She has a blindfold she wears to help her focus on her predictions. She also carries a notebook with the main facts she might need to solve a prophecy. Other notes: she comes across as a super indecisive person, she actually sees the consequences of her own choices before making them so she takes a little time to try out all of her options.

Nancy Wheeler (I couldn't think of anything different from what I already wrote in my other post, I hope it's okay T.T) Quirk: Sniping. Everything she throws always lands where she wants it to, she has to stare at the target she wants to hit until she hits it. Weaknesses: her quirk is effective only if she can keep eye contact with the target, even blinking once makes her throws/hits ineffective. She has to see clearly her target, and the more she uses her quirk the less precise she gets. Hero costume: she wears glasses that protect her eyes and help her see long-distance targets. She carries different types of weapons, her favorite being guns. Other notes: sometimes she would practice her quirk with Steve, she would aim bullets at her target and he would try to attract them away from it. Her quirk was effective 99% of the time (that 1% was Steve getting hit by the bullet, making them decide to never try it again).

aUGH you talked about bax's and babygirl's i mean. roy's bad eyesight. does anyone else have an likewise handicap or disability? also what's their weakspot for each one of them ... both physically and mentally if you want to write even moar words hehe

as previously mentioned bax has shit eyesight. hes also a bit mentally ill (lack of survival instincts), and while that can be beneficial when in dangerous situations where he needs to act effectively and expediently it can also be VERY DISADVANTAGEOUS. for obvious reasosn. what would the crew do without him? when hes constantly getting injured and incapacitated?

roy has her weird eyesight, and she has kind of the opposite of bax's problem. shes pretty anxious and has trouble acting and making quick decisions. she doesnt really like getting into *serious* trouble (she likes silly stuff and pranks and goofs though), anyways this makes it harder for her to step in when someone needs help.

clam *is* a runaway government android and so basically anything that isnt healing or surveillance is antithetical to what he was programmed for which is bad for everyone. he wants so badly to deviate and cultivate more of an identity but its gotta be just one step at a time, while roy and the others help him reprogram his body and brain bit by bit. which sucks. he wants physical agency Now.

tallys lack of horns and low-ppointing fin rays would land him very low in his home planets sort of caste system. not like. homestuck per se, its less ingrained and more socially enforced. on a dangerous planet where community contribution holds a lot of social weight, being physically weaker, lacking parental skills or instincts, and being kind of selfish on top of all of that made him very. not liked. this is part of the reason kip feels so responsible for him and overly protective.

anyways hes kinda internalized it. every single crumb of attention and validation sends his ego to the moon (metaphorically). he is torn between accepting a low place in life and society "everyone hates me, why should i change that" and desperately trying to prove his worth to anyone who will listen. yaaay mentla illness mwah (i kiss him on the forehead)

kip is the opposite of tally. he has horns. his fin rays point straight up. hes big and strong. he can hunt and protect. hes kind of tender and paternal. hes generally well respected. and he left all that. with his "nephew."

hes used to the expectation of taking care of everyone, protecting them, making sure nothing goes wrong. so he overcorrects. he comes off a bit controlling, though he normally channels this through his cooking. its like a healthy outlet, where he has control over everything as long as everyone stays OUT of his FUCKING kitchen.

hes also very slow to learn and a bit stubborn (though he tries very very hard to work on this)

hes honestly very stable and good at keeping himself together unless He were to be the one hurt and or in trouble ahahaha. he would not handle that. he would go crazy. the thought of being the one to need others makes him ill.

he is so fucking awkward around clam and its for two reasons. 1. dont wanna break him, unfamiliar object, not sure how the best way to proceed 2. stop trying to help me stop leave me alone you sick vermin

deep down he loves clam though cause he feels like theyre the same. "this weird animate object is just like me fr" he admires clams instinct to help others a lot eheheheh.

i hope colt likes me. i have so much love to give him. i hope he doesnt mind i have so much... wrong with me. i hope he doesnt get too annoyed when i turn into a star or when i get scared or when i go nonverbal after a flashback. i hope he'd still hold my star form very close to his chest and tell me it's all gonna be okay and that he'd protect me and i'm safe.

i hope he likes it in the mojo dojo casa keri ken dreamhouse. ken stocked the place with drinks and games and snacks and a big welcome banner. i hope he gets along with driver and K... im always hoping those two can make more friends. i hope he tolerates me even when im Like This. i hope he doesnt mind when i ask for a hug multiple times a day bc i dont have anyone to hug at home. i hope he understands why i ask for reassurance that he wouldnt hurt me. maybe ken welcomes him into the group and has to give him a little rundown on how things work. like... what they all do when their girlfriend turns into a star, how they can make her feel better, how long a flashback lasts, where shes okay with being touched and where she isnt, that her jolting awake from a nightmare is normal and spending a full day crying is normal and stress vomiting is normal and she might need a lot of emotional support with all of that. i hope colt doesnt mind. he seems kindhearted and understanding. i want to hope he'd be okay with me being Like This.

i hope he likes me. im so damaged and scarred and have been poisoned to fear my loved ones, but i know im so full of love and i want him to have all of it. even if he doesnt love me back i just hope he can accept a piece of my heart is reserved just for him. i wanna hold his hands and tell him i'm sorry i'm like this. i used to be so fun and bubbly and trusting and i used to love myself. i don't know where that girl went. i don't know if i can get her back but i'm really trying. in the meantime i'm sorry he's stuck with this mess. and selfishly i hope he still likes me even when i'm unlovable, or at least that is what i have been taught to believe for so long now, and i don't know how to believe anything else about myself. i love him so much. i love colt so much. i dont feel anything except self-loathing when i look at him, for months since october when the first few photos leaked, it's always felt that way, like my heart's been ripped out of my chest. like i rly love him so much but i dont think he'd tolerate me. i didn't use to feel that way about my F/Os but now i cannot look at myself as anything except a total wreck that they have to deal with. like loving me is some... some herculean task and that they would just absolutely hate it. like loving others is so easy for them but not when it comes to me. kindness comes so easy to them but not for me, like im. just. built to be loved only through violence. like there is no other way for me to be loved unless if im getting hurt. but... hopefully when the movie comes out i could slowly get into the rhythm of associating him with myself and with him being really loving and gentle and protective with me.

SPOILERS FOR MEGAMIND AND MEGAMIND "2" youve been warned

Hi chat im here to bitch and whine give my 2 cents on the new movie even tho im like. A little late. Obligatory read more

I havent seen anyone talk about this yet so im starting with it but... why did they rename Minion? I am not Too bothered by it, i mean a little but thats probably just me im just mostly confused? Is it because of the Minions stuff? So hes more uniqe? Augh my poor boy they did him so dirty

Point 2. Roxanne. What. Just what. Why did they make her like that? I loved how she had different clothes for (probably) every scene, that she wasnt just a generic cartoon character wearing the same outfit for the whole 90 something minutes and yet they just... put her in an (in my opinion) ugly dress and made her hate her job?

She seemed happy in the first movie for the most part. She wrote her own speech in the first scene of it!! I get that things are different now that Megamind is a hero but ITS BEEN 2 DAYS!! Unless her aspirations changed in the first movie and im just too tired to remember then its a huge change. Besides that she was.... okay i guess? Shrug i liked the original more

Oh right! Their relationship or lack there of with Megamind! I was never a huge shipper of them but i didnt mind. I find it sweet at most since they can be silly together but only if given more time and fleshed out more. Im more interested in seeing their progression, learning about each other, adressing past stuff (like how Megamind was hiding as Bernard for god knows how long i am so tired i cant remember this move killed my brain) and i dont care if theyre a couple or just friends or something in between for all of that

But...... seeing as (and i can only assume) the first movies last scene of him accepting the new museum that was rebuilt for his image happened months after the Titan thing and they literally Kissed and whatever id ASSUME there is something between them to kiss like that IN A PUBLIC EVENT IN FRONT OF THE CITY?

And yes i love my platonic kisses but lets be real. This was made by a Company and this is a het couple theres no way they would let them kiss as just friends. Like id be the happiest mf on earth if they did but from previous movie track records i dont think thats the case

If the movie was like set between the Titan thing and the reopen of the museum id understand. Then yeah, things are complicated between them. But we SEE the museum like at least once so??? Ugh i dont know why im so caught up on everything this movie was full of contradictions

Before i go to the main issue (the whole movie is the issue but i digress) i wanna talk about the world itself.

Where did the smart phone come from?????? Hello??? Movie 1 had flip phones at best + whatever Megamind made but hes like a genius so like that doesnt quite fall into public tech stuff. Why did they nerf the dehydration gun? That was instant or near instant before why did it take seconds now?? Megamind has a whole new lair AFTER 2 DAYS-

Why is everyone so stupid and disrespectful? The whole key ceremony was 100% unneeded if hes already an esteemed hero? Whatever.

Now the main bone i have to pick. MEGAMIND.

He could not be more OOC. I cant belive this was an actual movie not like some fan project. God

They already had a whole thing in the first movie how he needs Minion more and he needs to listen to him and how he appreciates him. Why did we go back to ground 0?

If they REALLY needed a conflict where Minion wanted to be a sidekick and Megamind didnt want that to happen (which... i dont even know why they needed that? Perhaps with Minion away from the lair when the DS showed up the issue dragged on much longer? Shrug) THEN THEY COULD HAVE DONE AAAANYTHING ELSE!!!

Might i remind the creators that in the highpoint of the first movie, when Minion used the disguise watch and helped Roxanne escape so Megamind can defeat Titan as a fake Metro Man he got (kinda) hurt? Like his tank shattered and he was drying out. Sure he was fine but THAT already couldve been a better motivator!!

Megamind being scared to let Minion be his sidekick because he has been with him for all of his life, his first and best friend in the whole galaxy, his caretaker since he was a baby, his last connection to his home planet even, got hurt and could have easily died. I mean they pretty much killed like 3 people if not more in this movie so its not far fetched but like-

The conflict being Megamind grapping with his concience (spelling??) of wanting to make Minion happy and letting him express himself more, and his terror of the possibility of losing him. Like if thats too heavy they can make it more lighthearted and jokey there are Definitely ways to do that but that already is a better conflict oh my GOD.

Also DS couldve been soloed with the dehydratuion gun if it wasnt nerfed. He just walks behind them and bam. Problem solved. What the hell

point 3? I lost count. WHY DID THEY DUMB HIM DOWNNNNNNN OMG

HES SUPPOSED TO BE A GENIUS!! Sure Minion takes care of him since he can get too in his head with his ideas as we see. Multiple times. But hes not an idiot. He would know how a toaster WORKS HES NOT XBDNSN MAIMS!!

Anyway

I finished the movie like an hour ago but i already forgot that little girls name oops. She was... weird. I wasnt too annoyed about her more so confused? Since shes the only person with a smart phone? And she had half a million followers for her Megamind blog? IN 2 DAYS? Right. Felt very forced to put her into any and all of the scenes

Back to our massacared blue hero. He would NEVER be like that. More specifically with the DS. One of the main parts of him is that he was lonely!! He never had friends!! He is sooo socially stunted he doesnt know many many basic concepts as an adult!! Like how phones work or views or i cant remember anything else what a disgrace but like!!

He would never go to evil school. Why would there be an evil school also?? But he never had anyone but Minion!! He was sooo lonely without Metroman he had to DIY a new dude!! He became a villian because people kept bullying him for being different and weird and so he decided to become what they make him out to be! If he had friends like how the DS makes it out to be, hell, like how the movie makes it out to be then he would never abandon them like that. He would NEVER

Also him the leader?? Are you kidding me?? Where was Minion during all that? And even then why didnt they just use the original DS material? I was hoping to see the fire lady where did she go :( (i cant remember any names tonight huh)

Everyone is so dumb in this movie it hurts. 0 spacial awareness, the conversations dont feel like they fit together, some scenes they literally repeat stuff that was either said already or just dont relate at all. I dont know why that is but it bothered me a lot

The DS looked and acted dumb, they were the most generic ass villains like... WHY DIDNT YOU USE THE ORIGINAL- whatever im. Sigh. But really it was so weird???? If Megamind was supposed to be their LEADER why were they so disrespectful to him? He feared them plenty and yeah sure its because he lied to them but leaders usually are respected. They treated him like shit and didnt listen to him once. Rushed him the whole time and kept making him do things like....... girl... thats your LEADER. Ex leader at worst. Maybe dont throw a party in his HOUSE without even asking or warning him and tell him to not be a party pooper when he demands you to stop it. I have a headache now

The ending was....... interesting. Roxanne becoming mayor feels unrealistic and rushed but alas it fits to the theme of the movie because of that (aka being rushed and unrealistic). The M signal is. Laughable. Silly at the very best. It got a laugh out of me but its just.... unneeded. I dont know i dont get why they had to add it you know. Also obligatory Minion out of the tank moment oh wow woo yippe Why

Overall? There were like 3 jokes at best that i liked + the dance off scene was nice. Funny and kinda in character even. The rest? I will be mad about it forever. 1.5/10

ur the only person ive ever seen talk about kpwuvvy in any capacity + ive been thinking about wuvvy talking abt seducing lords of the wings to make them lose their wager so. au where wuvvy seduces hob to distract and keep him away from rue but of course ends up pitying him and seeing herself in him

hello good afternoon i spent my entire commute thinking about this and my morning shift writing a circle around it. first of all holy shit? i love this, i do think wuvvy has an interesting relationship to her body in acofaf and the seduction game is clearly one she'll participate in. it's a very interesting intersection of the regency and fey genres, right, bc the consequences are very different in both.

ive really been chewing on that moment in ep3, with the challenge to a duel, and i do think this is the moment it could happen if it were to happen -- wuvvy's protective instincts are engaged, she's thinking about hob as a political enemy, she's hurt and wants to avenge those hurt feelings, and she believes him indifferent to rue so would not think that she's getting in the way of rue's happiness by engaging with him. the difference between the duel and the glamour is, well, whether she uses her mother tongue (the champion's discourse, the duel) or whether she translates her intentions into the language she has learned from the court of wonder ("she's getting better at her glamours").

haven't cracked how she would approach hob, but i think that he would mistrust the advance no matter what. a fey he's never met taking an interest in him? a fey whose magic reeks of enchantment? he would have to assume it's related to the mission, and i think brennan would engage with it from the plothound angle rather than "the hookable part", the part of him that's empty. at least at first. the thing about rue that caught him in the woods was their vulnerability, their apparent desire for him that they suppressed, a moment of recognition to see someone else trapped in the role they play.

ofc, bc wuvvy and hob think so similarly, all that is what she would see in him. she would pity him. im resisting the urge to plot this out, but i think it would begin to shift after rue's reveal in ep4, a moment where wuvvy is now looking for hob, looking to see how he will react to their true form and whether she will have to hate him after all. instead she would see his respect and his understanding. and for the first time i think she would see what he has really been looking for in rue, why he resisted her courting him, what he wants.

from there, i think she would start trying to genuinely get close to him, and we know that hob can and will fall for those who are good to him. he's capable of believing that anything is possible, if someone shows him affection; judging by his canon relationships, he can't help it. hand on his stupid heart & all that. so he's falling for a glamoured wuvvy, who, like rue, would try to change his perspective on the goblin court. her model for that would be pretty different -- less "you were used [...] take care of yourself, pray, protect yourself," because that's something wuvvy has never told herself, but rather "devotion does not have to mean being wielded for another person's interests. you have a choice in your allegiance, and you can swear yourself to what makes you happy."

my reading of kpvvy is one of mutual admiration and respect, and a bittersweet feeling that you've met someone just like you who somehow has everything you want. from a text i sent my bestie abt the cyrano au!kpvvy: "wuvvy sees a person who has no one to be themselves with and goes 'anyone gonna stand right next to them' and not wait for an answer." "with hob it's [...] like fully girl i don't know if i want you or if i wanna be you. cuz shes presenting him with this model of honor and service that like, works? in a way his doesnt? shes not miserable all the time holy shit?" -- they are SO similar that it's less of the "run away with me" love you get with kprue and the "i would do anything for you" that you get with ruevvy, it's "here are all my strengths and weaknesses in another person, and finally i can see that they all stem from the same part of me, which is also a part of them." not trying to be saved by each other, not trying to save each other, just trying to get as close to the other as they can get.

consequences for the seduction game arise, regency-style, when the goblin court is unable to secure a match for hob bc he has been seen so often in intimate settings with a fey from the court of wonder, and as for the fey angle. the major point of conflict there is the glamour, since hob hates lying and being lied to, and it's more about the betrayal and the fallout of acting on the intensity of emotions.

given canon, i have no reason to believe this wouldn't resolve in a happy ending, bc hob was able to break his engagement and forgive rue for concealing their role as saboteur from him -- except that there's no way, in this au, that rue isn't falling for wuvvy as well. and the thing that hob allows himself to leave the goblin court for is rue's open confession of love and care. would wuvvy offer him that if she finally has rue's attention? i don't know! i would LOVE to know what you were thinking in proposing the au, though, bc i have a feeling this mini-essay wasn't quite it. sorry this is so stupid long btw : ) if u are still here just know that i do love kpvvy i just cant imagine any pairing in this world for long without eventually arriving at the triad.

i sorta wanna make an au where the entire gang just is. not. silly happy all the time. the gang isnt ganging. like where Osvald just never talks to the others, still is part of the gang but no one would consider him to be a close friend, Throne and Hikari both struggle with connecting with the others bc Throne is Throne and Hikari doesnt wanna hurt anyone, Castti is a bit quiet cause she cannot remember anything and has a hard time participating in conversations and Temenos is just. odd. hes got a case of the tism and grief so he just straight up acts weird despite being normal on paper. despite that, Partitio, Agnea and Ochette's kind asses hold the group together like duct tape on a project that isnt going too well bc they love everyone else and wants the group to stay. mostly just small gestures but it means a lot. Agnea will offer to teach Castti to dance so that she has some hobby to her name. Ochette will teach the others too cook and always pretend she can't start a fire just so that Osvald gets fed up, starts a fire for her then rambles about fire magic bc. Partitio always asks the others questions and makes sure hes always 110% listening when anyone talks. I want the group to be a little more realistic instead of just isntant buddies who immediately trust each other on day 1. also this has good potential for hurt/comfort :3

you should!!!! this sounds really really good!!!! partitio, ochette and osvald being the glue that holds these weirdos together sounds amazing I am in full support of this au
