I was going to write up a post about my ship with Android 18 but then realised I had to explain the whole 'But what about Krillin?!' question. So here's a meme I quickly put together to demonstrate how the ship works.

new headcanon dropped: ✨loge is aroace and/or nonbinary!✨

behold, i explain my case:

- loge is tasked by wotan to find out what people would forsake love for. he does, but notably only talks about what other people would forsake. wouldn’t the first person you ask this question you’re tasked with be...yourself? unless, of course, you see yourself as excluded from it because romantic and sexual attraction is not something you experience. then you don’t ask yourself at all.

- he’s delightfully observing everyone else’s amorous misadventures on the sidelines. he doesn’t feel left out, he’s fine, he’s...not concerned with something that’s not his thing.

- a slightly similar thing goes for the nonbinary headcanon (and tbh i see both being true at the same time).

- literally wtf does he need GENDER for? loge is a demigod who can turn into fire, that’s infinitely more fun than identifying with any gender binary, probably

- loge has been specifically tasked with asking men what they’d forsake “womens’ delight” for (women being asked what they’d forsake womens’ delights for might’ve yielded other, fascinating results the ring regrettably does not explore. sad), but as explained above, loge excludes himself from this question. either, romantic/sexual attraction isn’t his thing, or identifying with a binary gender isn’t. or both.

- sure, everyone refers to him as ‘he’, but german is a notoriously shitty language for nonbinary people because a singular ‘they’-equivalent doesn’t exist. maybe those are his preferred pronouns, if he has to be addressed some way.

- idk if this is me overinterpreting things but. he keeps getting asked for advice by the gods *cough* wotan *cough* but is also notably excluded. wotan keeps emphasising he’s loge’s only friend. freia won’t let him eat her apples. the rest are sceptical of him. he’s viewed as a trickster and unruly even though he’s right literally 100% of the time. somethingsomething about people’s hysteria about other people who exist outside their own norms causing them to see said other people as a threat or as “unpredictable”, even though said people are rather understandable if you listen to them.

- as i was saying: currently on a quest to claim the cool witchy characters as ace >:)

pet peeve: tbh sick of seeing all those posts that are short little snippets of fiction/poetry (esp poetry) like 1-2 lines or stanzas or whatever.  its like.  making the art bit-sized and applicable to anything, generalizing what should be a more contextual piece.

it just bothers me, feels commodified and like its just making the pieces accessible over keeping true to the vision of the text, which...requires more of the text.
