Flex and Stretch While Sitting
One theory as to why prolonged sitting is harmful to one’s health is that while sitting, the large muscles become relaxed. As these muscles relax they do not take up very much glucose from the blood. As a result, the risk for Type II diabetes becomes increased along with heart disease and some cancers.
Immediately after sitting down, muscle electrical activity and metabolism slow down, as a result less calories are burned. Only 1 calorie per minute is burned while sitting. That is 1/3 of what the body burns when walking.
After a prolonged period of this lifestyle, LDL cholesterol (bad) increases and weight gain occurs.
Sitting can also cause hip flexor and hamstring muscles (back of thigh) to tighten. This may lead to joints and knees becoming stiff and back pain.
As we sit at the computer our shoulders are usually forward and we are hunched over for extended periods of time.  Our bodies are not designed to sit all day.
After just two weeks of sitting, muscles begin to atrophy and oxygen consumption decreases, making it more difficult to climb stairs and walk the longer distances.  Incorrect computer posture habits combined with long-term sitting may cause medical problems such as:  cumulative trauma disorder (CTD) or repetitive stress injury (RSI).
It has also been shown that in women bone mass can drop by 1% after a year of sitting for 6 hours a day.  Reduce these effects of long term sitting; take breaks; switch things up:
Stand every 45 minutes to 1 hour (set alarm or timer). Standing up for 1 – 2 minutes every hour will reduce the negative effects of sitting all day.
March in place for twenty seconds.
Reach down and try to touch your toes for twenty seconds.
Maintain intervals of moderate activity during the day.
Exercises / stretches that can be performed at your desk:
Sitting in your chair, lift one leg off the seat.
extend it out straight, hold for 2 seconds;
lower your foot – do not touch floor – hold for several seconds.
Switch
Do each leg 10-15 times.

So I have a not sexy question
Basically I sprained my ankle a few years ago, and I've had pain in it pretty much ever since. There's a constant tension and it's prone to giving out on me on bad days. On said bad days, I'll also get intense sharp pain that shoots halfway up my leg and makes it uncomfortable (but certainly not impossible) to walk.
Given the number of times I've almost fallen on stairs and while just walking on the street or at home, I've been wandering if it might help me to get a cane, just for the bad days.
The thing is, I know fuck all about mobility aids or even if that's the best option for me, and it feels weirdly selfish to think I need one for what is just a badly recovered sprained ankle, so if any of you use or know a lot about mobility aids, I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Challengers AU
Summary: You felt like you were on top of the world. Suddenly, it felt like your world flipped upside down. Torn between love for your sport and choosing the love of your life, you don't know what's up or down. AKA, a Challengers-esque AU but with basketball instead of tennis.
Part 1
Pairings: You x OC; eventual You x Paige x Caitlin
Warnings: None (?), swearing, slightly toxic dynamics (?)
-------------------------------
Second Person POV
Life was great. Your team won last year's NCAA championship, and against all odds, you guys were headed into this year's Sweet Sixteen.
Life was great. You're going into your senior year, your last year of playing with your favorite people. You've gotten close to all the girls on the team, and they've essentially become your sisters. You're favorite, above all, was your girlfriend, Mackenzie.
Life was great, and it was about to get even better. You and Mackenzie were talking to several WBNA, and both of you were slated to be within the top five picks. You guys may end up across the country from each other, but you'd make it work because this was your dream.
Life was great. So why the hell did it feel like a lie every time you said it?
--------------------------------
First Person POV
I hop around lightly, bopping my head to the music blaring from my earbuds. I shake out my arms, pulling them across my chest to stretch. I sat on the locker room bench, dropping my head and closing my eyes to focus on breathing. I could feel a presence sitting next to me, but I ignored them until I finished my exercises.
I open my eyes and pull out my earbuds, looking toward the new presence. When I see it's Mackenzie, I smile slightly, "Hey you."
"You alright?" She asks, nudging our knees together.
I soften, nodding, "Just nervous, I guess." I shrug.
Mackenzie scoffs, "Unlike me, this isn't your first Team US selection." Her tone sounds joking, but it still has that underlying bitterness I've come to associate with our conversations. I ignore it and shrug.
"Selection doesn't mean anything if you can't bring home a win," I tell her, frowning.
"Would you relax? This is only for gold medals and participation trophies." She snaps at me.
I roll my eyes, standing. "Can you just leave? I need to focus."
Mackenzie scoffs and turns to leave, mumbling under her breath. I ignore her, which seems to be a theme these days, and return to stretching. I stay like that until Coach comes to collect us. I don't acknowledge Mackenzie as we begin walking toward the tunnel, my mind only on the game that's about to happen.
I jog out of the tunnel when I hear my name called. I wave to the crowds in the stands, then run down the line, slapping hands with my teammates. I join the line, greeting the rest of my teammates. Once the introductions are finished, I get into position for tip-off.
Tying my hair back and getting low, I watch intently as the ref tosses the ball into the air. I grin as the ball is batted in my direction, catching it and taking off toward the basket.
---------------------------------
 Third Person POV
Caitlin and Paige sat side by side, watching the game. When they heard you were selected for the team, they knew they had to get tickets. You were everything they wanted to be as a basketball player, not to mention you were fucking hot.
"Dude fucking look at her go," Paige nudged Caitlin, pointing toward where you just made a tough layup.
Caitlin nudged her back, "I see her," She mumbled, not taking her eyes off you.
In fact, neither one of them had taken their eyes off you since you came out of the tunnel. You were magnetic, electric, and just plain fun to watch. The entire stadium seemed to roar for you, and you basked in the attention readily, sending winks and kisses into the crowd.
Only one thought was going through their mind as they watched you: I have to have her.
-------------------------------
Alright, so this is the intro to the fic I posted about yesterday. Let me know what you guys are thinking.

Not Alone
Tumblr media
Summary: Training to be an agent couldn't be any more hectic, or any less a pain in the ass. But a new change never hurt anyone, say, what if that change was a person?
Word count: 1.4k
Warning: Not proofread, fluff, may have written less Leon content than I should have but such is the freedom of writing, can't write combat for shit, no Y/N. GN! Reader.
You can imagine RE2 Leon for this cause it's pre RE4R, that is up to you tho!
Enjoy
The locker room was silent, the subtle creaks of the old hinges were all that caught one's ear. Sitting alone by the benches, a deep breath in, and one out. This was it, time for another round of getting your ass beat.
You slowly force yourself to get up, clenching your fists and gnawing on the inner side of your mouth because here comes another day, another wonderful training session right after your measly breakfast and early morning jog, it's a start to your daily routine. A very shitty daily routine.
"Okay, okay, I practiced last night, this shouldn't be hard, remember to block their hits." With a huff, your hands reach for the door knob and slowly turn it open, hoping that you were miraculously early and no one bothered to get into uniform, you quickly raise your head to see three other trainees, all waiting for the day to start. Two were doing warm up exercises, a few stretches and one was jogging in place, the third one had closed his eyes and holding a training knife in his hands.
You scan the room for any more visitors but there weren't any so you made your way to a corner and began doing a few sets, some planks and push-ups. Going rather smoothly, you trusted yourself to be able to handle doing a push up using one hand. Having done it before, a set of 20 was easy enough to accomplish with a single hand keeping you balanced.
The next part of your warm up, or this practice before the real one starts was working on one on one defence, hand to hand combat was what you struggled with. Throwing a mean punch was not all it took to get by around here, defence was important and although you were great at handling weapons, the sniper rifle being your best, hand to hand combat goes a long way.
You closed your eyes, keeping your breath steady and guarded your body, setting the stature in a solid form, one that was known to hardly break. Breathe in, breathe out, this was going well enough, imagining an opponent in place of the dummy had set things in motion for you.
You were ready to kick the dummy in the side, lifting your leg you packed as much force you could pivot your leg and waited for the dummy to bend to the other open side. However, your leg was stopped half way, not even fully reaching the dummy. You harshly pulled your captured limb free and found the cause of the disruption standing ahead of you. " We're rounding up, calling your name didn't work." The man honing a sharp side part hair dusted his hand off, wearing the same uniform as you did but he carried himself like that of an already experienced agent.
Leon was his name, being whispered about in hallways, nightly playing card sessions, the most predictable area were the bathrooms. He didn't say much, nor did he seem like he wanted to, but the first person you see in the mornings, at even the ungodliest hours were this man. He would be pacing, training by himself or simply reading a book. A natural wall was built around his corner, and only a stubborn few would cross it. Nothing about him was innately alarming. Personal space and time alone is what everyone here needs, but you question your findings at times, does this man ever sleep?
Wiping away your sweat with your hand towel, you gather with the rest of them, standing at ease as the senior agent did his daily checks.
After which, you begrudgingly head on to your station, reluctantly grabbing your training knife. A close up knife fight was another detail you, although struggling, and trying impossibly hard to retain the positions, keeping the knife close at your side while avoiding openings was your most called out flaw. Training alone has its perks but with no one to correct you, or willing to do so, unawareness of improvement came at a price.
Together with the other trainees, you go over the stances, holding a tight grip over your training knife. Your non-dominant hand raised to protect your fatal spots and the dominant one pointed forward, carrying the weapon.
It was time to turn to training with a partner and with your, in a word, hapless moment, you were left scanning for an opponent. That was till you felt a palm tap on your shoulder, and still guarded, you elbow the rather unfortunate fool behind you, hearing a low grunt escape from them. Facing the cause of the sound, it was Leon, though not crippled on the floor from the knock on the side of his abdomen, he still held his side, huffing.
"Crap, you alright?"
"Don't worry about it, I can walk this one off."
"I am so sorry!"
"It's fine, should have called out to you instead."
He gathered himself better after that and got readied up for training. "I suppose you don't mind if we exchange introductions?" This was momentary but who wouldn't love a good, what is your favourite colour session? Audibly and rather in amusement, he let out a chuckle, subtle yet breathy, "An introduction? since when did this place have a need for that?" This was all too entertaining for him, a person in this heartless hole wants to pretend to exchange friendly banter, a first but that was all he has assumed in his own experiences.
"Then, Kennedy-" you eyed the name woven on his uniform, "Let's get started, I'd prefer it if you didn't outright kill me." A smile formed on your face, one that held behind an expression of interest to the man before you.
"Let's."
You circled in, eyeing his movements, holding your breath. You hated all of this, anxiety spewed falsehoods into your brain in plagues of what ifs or maybes. The sweat streaming down your back sent a shiver to your spine, not obvious but enough for you to step forward, causing a flow of reactions from Leon, it wasn't your intention to make the first move but that set things in motion. You aimed for his neck but he was quick to deflect, a clatter of metal startled you but just as your hand slipped, he quickly went in for a place around your ribs.
That motion scared you but be it a fight or flight instinct, you used your legs to tip him over. A faint attempt, he caught on quickly and stepped aside at the perfect moment. This continued on for a while, you made attempts, he deflected, you would narrowly escape his attacks and finally, that was when you called it a quits.
Chugging the water to where your items were placed, the scenes of where possible mistakes were made replayed in your mind, that was how you would critique and better yourself at the company of nothing but the room and the soft breaths after harsh training. "Do you train a lot?" A question passed on from the man that almost could have killed you, if this were an actual knife fight of course.
"Yeah, by myself most of the time, why? Did I do something I shouldn't have, was I too slow? Hold on—"
"No, it wasn't bad, mind if I suggest something?" He stepped closer, hair long that you could see it grazed his nose. This was the first time you could get a proper look at him, eyes a deep blue with a hint of grey that traced the edges of the blue. His lashes lay long on his lids, they were enviously beautiful, his nose was thin but the creases around it had shaped them well. You could gaze at him for a well deserved period, only now realising that his features speak stories of their own fortitude. "Ahem, Y-Yeah sure, what is it?" Holding in your curiosity, you continue the conversation.
"Mind if I join you? I think we'd make a great team." He stated, raising excitement with his tone. "That would be awesome! This is...just for training though right?" You questioned. "Yeah, I mean, only if you're interested, we could handle more than just knife combat, what do you say?" His lips stretch out so slightly, parting to a smile that was so quick to lose sight of. "Sure, I'm in!"
You raise your arm, hand extended to shake his own to form a unit, which he gladly accepted. Was this the start of no more horrible routines? The man entailed in whispers was now your acquaintance, the very man you had only seen but never initiated a definite greeting is now your training buddy. This was new, and with how you took notice of his features, he too seemed curious about the person that he could only manage to glance at, wondering, when do they ever sleep?
"So...do I keep calling you Kennedy or is it time for introductions?"

Synopsis: Living post grad can be tough, especially when most of your friends are just entering their senior year. Your best friend invites you to play a practice game, but there couldn't possibly be ulterior motives could there?
Pairing: Choi Jongho x Reader
Genre: non idol!au, soccer player!jongho, soccer player!reader, mainly fluff, suggestive
Wordcount: 2.6k
Note: This was originally a one-shot, but I may write more! Please let me know what you think :)
It’s a wild Friday night. Pajamas are on, you have your favorite comfort show on, and a bucket of ice cream all to yourself. You are casually scrolling through social media. A lot of your friends have moved back in for their final year of college. You graduated the year before them, which at the time you were thrilled to be done. Now seeing them all go back without you hurts. You were the captain of your soccer team, and seeing your teammates prepare for the indoor season without you is a little bit of a bummer.
You were able to land a corporate job, which you are of course grateful for. Most days are spent alone considering you work from home. You can’t deny the depression that is starting to creep back in. Your phone dings and you smile at the photo that your best friend, Lauren, sends you. The photo shows a smiling Lauren with the rest of your team, and you can see part of the men’s team trying to get into their photo. You chuckle and heart the photo in imessage. You can’t deny the pain you feel knowing you won’t be there this season.
Turning up your show to try to drown out the sadness seems like the best idea. Until your phone goes off again.
“You better not be moping all alone right now. We miss you.”
Lauren always has a sense for whenever you’re feeling sad. Something you love and hate about her. Mostly love.
Nah. I’m at a huge corporate rager. Drunk off my ass, might go home with someone.
Lauren replies almost immediately.
“Okay now I’m actually worried. Why don’t you play in our practice scrimmage tomorrow? The boys have an unfair advantage, so we need all the help we can get.”
You roll your eyes.
Don’t you think that would be a little pathetic? And what unfair advantage could they possibly have? You stomp them at every scrimmage.
As you wait for a response you think about joining your old team. I mean it is just a practice game, and it’s not like you have anything better to do. The exercise would be nice.
“Are you kidding? The team would be thrilled. We miss you all the time :(. The unfair advantage would be Marcus’ friend that is in town. They went to elementary school together when Marcus lived in Korea, and well he’s fucking incredible at soccer.”
You sigh and try not to think too much about your answer. Maybe just going with the flow will work out for me this one time.
Damn all you had to say was Marcus and I’m in. I can’t wait to see his face when we win. Just text me the details and I’ll be there.
Lauren sent you a voice memo of her and the rest of the girls screaming in excitement. You laugh and then start to get ready for bed. The scrimmage is at 9am so you need to make sure you get plenty of sleep.
Tomorrow comes and before you know it, you’re at the fieldhouse. You’re not sure why you were so nervous because the girls give you an enormous warm welcome. Lauren forces you to start stretching and warming up early since it’s been a few months since you’ve played. As you and Lauren are warming up together, you notice she has the biggest smirk on her face.
“Why are you smiling like that?”, You ask.
Lauren giggles, “Don’t hate me. We obviously needed you to beat the boy’s team, but I also had a bit of a side quest.”
You narrow your eyes, “What are you up to?”
Lauren says, “Well Marcus’ friend is super hot and good at soccer. I thought maybe you guys could get to know each other.”
“This was a set up?!” You gasp.
Lauren hushes you, “No one else knows. Even if you don’t want him to be your boyfriend, it could be a fun hookup. Just trust me on this.”
You roll your eyes, “Whatever. He better not be ugly.”
Lauren laughs as the two of you continue to warm up. You can’t deny the butterflies you feel at the idea of this mystery man. Lauren has never been wrong before, so you’re just hoping you can muster up enough courage to be yourself.
“Well well well. Look what the cat dragged in”
You immediately know who the voice belongs to. You turn and can’t help but smile.
“I’m not admitting that I missed you”, You say with your hands on your hips.
Marcus laughs and opens his arms. You both embrace until Marcus tries to squeeze the life out of you.
“Okay! Are you trying to squeeze me to death?!” You shout as you wiggle out of his embrace.
Marcus smiles, “I missed you.”
Lauren interrupts, “Okay okay enough with the flirting, Marcus.”
Marcus recognizes someone behind you, “Over here, Jongho!”
You all turn to see the man that Marcus was calling over. Fuck Lauren was right, he’s gorgeous. He gives your group the cutest smile you’ve ever seen and jogs over to your group.
Lauren whispers to you, “You’re drooling.”
You lightly smack Lauren’s arm and try not to keep staring at Jongho.
“Alright everyone! This is Jongho. We met when I lived in Korea and he’s here to stomp your asses.” Marcus says as he wraps his arm around Jongho’s shoulder.
Lauren rolls her eyes and puts her arm around you, “Well, Jongho, this is y/n and she’s here to make sure that doesn’t happen.”
You are giggling at Lauren when you finally make eye contact with Jongho. He is smiling brightly at you. You’re unable to hide the slight blush that appears on your cheeks. A burst of confidence comes through you.
“Yeah sorry you came all this way just to have your ass handed to you” You say with a smirk.
The teams are laughing and you can’t bring yourself to look away from Jongho. The sexual tension is undeniable. He steps closer to you and you refuse to back down from eye contact, even when you have to look up to meet his eyeline.
Jongho looks down at you flirtatiously, “You’re a mouthy one aren’t you. I like that.”
He walks towards his side of the field, the rest of the boys follow after him. While you’re momentarily frozen in your spot. You can’t believe someone as beautiful as him said that to you.
Lauren drags you back to your side of the field while you continually thank her for making you come. She continues to nod her head with that ‘I told you so’ look. You can’t even argue with her because she was oh so right.
Your team is huddled and hyping each other up. You are all in agreement that you must win this scrimmage no matter what. Even though it’s only a practice game. You will be in your favorite position, center defender. Lauren let you know that Jongho is a forward, so you will definitely be seeing him. Your team all put your hands together.
Before you can break you tell them, “Not one of his balls will get past me.”
Your team cheers and breaks. As you walk to your position, you’re shaking yourself out. You can’t decide if it’s because it’s been awhile since you played or because you’re nervous as fuck. Either way, Jongho is not getting past you.
For the first 10 minutes you wonder when you will get to play. Both teams are so hyped up that it was really just a battle of the forwards and midfielders for a while. This was good because you were able to watch Jongho in action and see how he plays. Unfortunately for you he is incredible, so this will definitely be a tough match.
Jongho is the first one to slip through the midfielders and he is barreling right towards you with the ball. You take a deep breath and immediately go into action. He attempts to side step you, but you step directly in front of him and kick the ball between his legs. Jongho wasn’t prepared for you to be able to disable him so quickly that he didn’t have time to slow his body down. The force causes Jongho to fall, bringing you down with him. You immediately jump back up, only to sag in relief when you see Lauren is on the other side of the field with the ball.
“Are you okay?!” You see a frantic Jongho searching all over you to make sure he didn’t cause you harm.
You laugh, “I’m fine. Better luck next time.”
You can see that Jongho is taken aback by you. He wasn’t expecting you to be so incredibly good at defense, and also not afraid to put yourself directly in his path. He can’t help but admire you, but he will also not be misjudging you again.
Before leaving, he can’t help but brush the few hairs that are in your face out of the way. He tucks them behind your ear, and then runs off to the other side of the field. Leaving you there speechless, and furiously blushing.
As the game continues, the girls are not backing down. The score is 1-0, with Lauren being able to score because you got the ball from Jongho. You had a few more run-ins with different people on the other team, but none of them were able to get past you. With only a minute left, you can feel a flip of the switch for everyone on the field. The girls, desperate to defend and keep their advantage. The boys, desperate for one goal.
You can feel all the attention is on you. You are the reason they can’t score. You continue your breathing techniques as Jongho makes a beeline for the goal. Needing to get past you, he has three different guys running with him. As they go down the field they’re passing it to one another, in an attempt to confuse you. The three of them are now running side by side and passing it between each other.
They reach you and the fight begins. You get the ball from one of the guys and attempt to kick it, but Jongho blocks you. You are trying to get the ball back when he passes it to another teammate that you didn’t see. He was further away so you start sprinting right at him, but right before you get to him he kicks it far. You hold your breath while watching the ball soar right to Jongho. Who happened to be right by the goal box.
You immediately take off towards him, your other defender doing her best. He’s able to fake her out and make it past her, as she falls to the ground. Jongho is lining up his shot, and you know the only way to stop him is to slide to the ball. He doesn’t see you coming up behind him, and right as he’s about to kick the ball his feet are taken out under him. Since he was so close to the ball, you had to risk a slide tackle. The ball went right to your goalie as you planned and the buzzer went off.
You are laying on your side breathing heavily as you hear the rest of your teammates screaming in victory. You turn over and see Jongho laying right behind you with his hands on his head in defeat.
You sit up, “Are you okay?”
Jongho looks at you and smiles, “You really weren’t kidding. I thoroughly just got my ass handed to me.”
Jongho sits up as you two begin to laugh. Even after the intense game and you’re not sure if you’ll be able to move later, the chemistry is undeniable.
Jongho picks up one of your hands, “Would you let me take you on a date? You are the most beautiful person I’ve ever seen.”
You blush and begin to laugh, “Even after I slide tackled you?”
Jongho smiles, “Yeah. I’ve met my match, and now I don’t think I’ll ever be able to stop thinking about you.”
It’s your turn to fix his hair.
“Let’s get you checked out by the trainer first, and then we can see about that date.”

5 Minutes Morning Exercise for all Day Energy
Starting your day with a short workout can help you feel more energized and alert throughout the day. Even a 5-minute routine can make a big difference in your mood, focus, and overall well-being.
Here are some simple exercises that you can do in just 5 minutes to boost your energy levels:
Jumping jacks: Jumping jacks are a great way to get your heart rate up and your blood flowing. Do 30 jumping jacks in a row, or break them up into sets of 10.
Body-weight squats: Squats are a compound exercise that works your legs, core, and glutes. Do 20 body-weight squats in a row, or break them up into sets of 10.
Plank: The plank is a great way to strengthen your core and improve your balance. Hold a plank for as long as you can, or aim for 30 seconds.
Push-ups: Push-ups are a great way to work your chest, shoulders, and triceps. Do as many push-ups as you can, or modify by doing them on your knees.
Stretching: Stretching helps to improve your flexibility and range of motion. Hold each stretch for 30 seconds.
You can do these exercises in any order, and you can modify them to fit your fitness level. If you're just starting out, you may want to start with fewer repetitions or a shorter duration.
Once you've gotten the hang of these exercises, you can gradually increase the intensity or duration of your workout. You can also add other exercises, such as lunges, crunches, or burpees.
The important thing is to find a routine that you enjoy and that you can stick with. Even a 5-minute workout is better than no workout at all!
Here are some additional benefits of doing a short morning workout:
Improved mood: Exercise releases endorphins, which have mood-boosting effects.
Increased energy levels: Exercise helps to wake you up and give you more energy throughout the day.
Better sleep: Exercise can help you sleep better at night.
Reduced stress levels: Exercise is a great way to relieve stress and tension.
Weight loss: Exercise can help you burn calories and lose weight.
If you're looking for a way to improve your energy levels and overall health, a short morning workout is a great place to start. Just 5 minutes a day can make a big difference!

Flex, Stretch and Compute
As we sit at the computer our shoulders are usually forward and we are hunched over for extended periods of time.  Our bodies are not designed to sit all day. Sitting for long periods of time (10 hours or more per day) has a negative effect on health: circulation decreases, muscles tire, and tasks become more uncomfortable to perform.
It can cause pain and tightness in the back and neck, tingling in the extremities and poor posture.
Also, sitting after eating a meal causes high blood sugar spikes. Instead move around after eating to cut the sugar spikes in half … move around, clean the kitchen, walk the dog.
Incorrect computer posture habits combined with long-term sitting may cause medical problems such as:  cumulative trauma disorder (CTD) or repetitive stress injury (RSI).
Reduce these effects of long term sitting; take breaks; switch things up:
Below are examples of some exercises / stretches that can be performed without leaving your desk area.  Set your timer to take breaks and go for it!  Start small and slowly work your way up to more movement.
Neck Flexors, Sitting or Standing
Tumblr media
Stand (or sit) head comfortable in a centered position.
Draw in chin pulling head straight back.  Keep jaw and eyes level.
Hold this position for 5 to 7 seconds.  Release.
Repeat.
Side/Torso – Standing Bend
Tumblr media
Stand with feet together and palms overhead touching.
Bend body to one side as far as possible.
Hold 5 to 7 seconds.
Resume original position.
Bend body to the other side as far as possible.
Hold 5 to 7 seconds.
Resume original position.
Chest Scapula Adduction with Pectorals
Tumblr media
Stand in a doorframe, palms against frame and arms at 90 degrees.
Lean forward, squeezing shoulder blades together.
Hold 7 to 10 seconds.
Release, then repeat.
Hip Flexors/Quadriceps Stretch
Tumblr media
Stand, may use chair as a support.
Slowly bend left leg feeling the stretch.
Hold for 7 to 10 seconds.
Release.
Repeat with other leg.
Dorsiflexion and Plantar Flexion, sitting
Tumblr media
Sitting with feet on the floor.
Point toes up while keeping heels on the floor.
Hold position 5 to 7 seconds.
Now, press toes to the floor while raising heels.
Hold position 5 to 7 seconds.
Repeat several times.
Upper/Mid Back Stretch, sitting
Tumblr media
Sitting in chair with knees apart, bend forward toward the floor.
Feel the stretch in the lower back.
Hold 7 to 10seconds.
Sit upright.
Repeat.

I got denied for Ozempic by the insurance company because I don't have type 2 diabetes. Nevermind that my doctor prescribed it for my PCOS, insurance daddy knows best. Looks like I'm going to have to do the weight loss the manual way. Since June 1 I've been consistent on my fitness/weight loss goals: 1700 calories, 90oz water, 30 minutes cardio daily and 2x a week at the gym, plus daily stretching. I've been doing great and I feel great. Lost 5lbs in the first 10 days of the month. Not going crazy on the exercise, just doing what feels good. Well guess what my stupid ass back is doing? I pinched a nerve in my lower back in May and it's still been hurting, plus now I can feel pinching in my mid back too! I have the definite sense that if I twist just a little too far I will be struck by lighting and out of commission. I've scheduled a physical therapy session for next Monday but this week I have got to cool it with the exercise. I'm not pleased because I've been on such a roll, but I'm trying to remember: *Amy Slaton voice* There's things you CAN do! Even if I can't follow my plan exactly, I am going to do something every day. I can do arm weights. I can do some light cleaning. There are exercise videos on youtube for senior citizens that are very light. I'm not going to just sit and do nothing and feel like a failure. I can still follow my diet, still drink my water, still stretch, and I am going to find low intensity activity to do instead of the more strenuous stuff. This thing with my back was always going to happen anyway. I fucked up my back with decades of sedentary living. I have mild scoliosis. I've had back problems before and will continue to have them. This is just a bump in the road and I'm determined to keep this good thing going.

Sugarcoated
Andrew was an all star basketball player all through high school and he loved it. He worked out often and he had a slim body with a nice six pack.
andrew was always in shape. He loved playing sports and exercising so it was easy for him. When Andrew was almost finished with his senior year of high school, he had to pick his college classes. When Andrew was looking through the list he found a baking class. Andrew always wanted to step out of his comfort zone and maybe get into a new hobby. Besides, Andrew loved sweets so it would be free food. Andrew was always in for free food.
His whole life, Andrew loved eating. It was the only thing he liked more than working out. He had a crazy fast metabolism though so he would never gain a pound. Once, he ate an entire pizza all by himself. When he was finished he even drove out to get some ice cream. His mom always said his stomach was like a bottomless pit.
andrew’s first few weeks at college were great. His roommate was in a few of his classes including the baking class. With all of the homework and parties Andrew was going to, he almost never had time to work out. This was fine with him though because he couldn’t gain weight if he tried.
one day in his baking class, the teacher made Andrew and his roommate stay and talk to him after class. He told them he accidentally baked three times the amount of cookies he needed to bake. He was wondering if Andrew and his roommate could eat the extras so he wouldn’t have to throw any away.
Andrew thought this would be easy. How many cookies could it even be? 10? 12? “48”. Said the teacher. Andrew didn’t know what to say. 48 cookies was a lot. But he was definitely going to try.
The first few cookies were great. They were like sugar cookies but with a really rich icing on top. After about 10 cookies, Andrew’s roommate said he had to go, so he wished Andrew good luck and left.
Andrew ate the cookies two at a time, one in each hand. Eventually it came down to just two more. Andrew could barely eat another bite. With the encouragement of his teacher, he shoved the last two cookies down his throat and let out a massive burp of relief. And for the fist time in forever, Andrew could see his stomach just barely poking out from beneath his shirt.
over the next few months, Andrew started eating more and more desserts as the class got more intense. Pies, cakes, cookies, biscuits, pastries, bread, scones. And Andrew loved it. He started to notice that all of his shirts were starting to get tighter. There must have been a problem with the washing machine.
it eventually got to the point where Andrew found out he could take a lot of his classes online so he would even have to leave his dorm. Even the baking class would send him ingredients to make the pastries at home. Andrew loved this idea. And apparently so did his stomach.
andrew’s roommate eventually said something to Andrew about his weight gain. He pointed out how none of his shirts fit anymore and he could always see his new round jiggly belly bouncing around when he walked. He also told Andrew he loved it.
Andrew decided that his roommate was just playing a prank on him and he wasn’t gaining weight at all. But it got so bad that Andrew would only wear sweatpants, and he didn’t even bother trying to put on a shirt. Besides, he enjoyed the freedom of letting his belly do what it wanted.
Andrew’s roommate loved to bring home dessert for Andrew and he loved to watch Andrew eat it even more. One time he brought home an entire chocolate cake with rich, creamy icing and bits of Oreos drizzled on top. Andrew was eager to have a slice or two but his roommate wanted him to eat the whole thing.
Andrew started with the first slice. He didn’t even use a fork, just his chubby, greasy hands. He shoved the cake into his face, smearing chocolate all over his lips. He grabbed a second slice and did the same, his stomach began to stretch and expand, getting closer and closer to the counter. After the third slice, Andrew’s stomach was pressed up against the counter. Andrew was eager to finish this cake as he never gave up on a bet.
he moved to the couch and laid on his back with his expanding stomach in the air, wobbling as he laid down. He shoved the fourth piece into his mouth and was starting to feel full. He told his roommate to help him with the last two slices. He was happy to shove some more cake into his mouth. He climbed on top of Andrew’s stomach and began to push cake into his mouth like he was pushing coins into a slot machine.
by the end of the year, Andrew had completely changed. His sharp jawline now completely covered by a thick double chin. His muscular arms were more like flabby sausages now and the most significant change was his stomach. At the beginning of the year he had rock hard abs that looked like they had been carved from stone. But now, he had a large, round, hairy, ball of lard for a stomach. It completely hung over his belt and Andrew hadn’t seen his feet in months. Andrew didn’t plan on stopping either. After nearly 85 lbs of weight piled onto him, he finally realized that he was fat. And he loved it.

The Eddie
Steve’s a teacher and constantly talking about his sweet and caring partner, Eddie. When they finally meet him, they are confronted with the fact that sweet Eddie is a metal band leader, who is very intimidating.
This is very much based off this post by @harringtonisms
On AO3.
Ships: Steve x Eddie
Warnings: none really.
~~~~~~~~~~
Mr. Harrington, or Steve as he begs his students to call him, is an oddity at the local public high school. He is still young, muscled but slender, with most girls fawning over him and his hair. He dresses sporty (expected of a PE teacher) but also soft for his hours as guidance counselor. Most importantly he is openly queer, which is very rare in 90s Indiana.
And Steve probably wouldn’t have gotten far in his career if he didn’t have the biggest ‘I don’t give a fuck’-attitude out there. Whenever parents complain or student comment, he’ll just raise his brow, like their opinion is so far out of the ballpark of his worries that caring about it seems plainly ridiculous.
So, he still works as a teacher and guidance counselor, and despite the setbacks he is massively popular under the students.
His PE classes aren’t like most. He has a rigorous stretching and warming up routine as well as a cooling down period, which everyone is required to follow to a t, though he doesn’t care much about how well they participate with the actual lesson. And he always talks while they go through the routine, either about self care or something he saw or anything random.
Those talks are the reason everyone is aware Steve is not straight, because he always – always – mentions his partner Eddie at least once. It’s like he won’t survive if he doesn’t mention the man every hour.
Jessie absolutely adores Steve. She is currently a Senior and has had Steve for PE throughout her entire school career, a fact she can’t be more glad about. She hates PE and Steve has never cared that she always sat on the bench as long as she participated with stretching, warming up and cooling down. And as a closeted lesbian, Steve is quite a comfort about her own future.
She loves hearing Steve talk about whatever Eddie did that day, because from what she has heard he is the sweetest guy out there. The way Steve talks about him is almost enough for her to go straight at this point.
Today is such a day. They’re stretching, following Steve’s lead as he says: “It is good to stretch. You are all too young to know, but there will come a moment in your life when sleeping wrong will affect you for a whole day. I fell asleep with Eddie on the couch last night. Don’t recommend that at all.”
He changes pose and everyone follows: “Luckily Eddie woke up in the middle of the night and carried me to bed. I guess hauling around his stuff has been good for his muscles. And I have been roping him into regular exercise, because it’s good for you. That’s why I think PE is so important, regular movement is important for everyone. It doesn’t have to be intense, you just have to keep moving every now and then. So, up, up, people, some laps, please.”
There is groaning, but everyone gets ready for laps. They all know there is no set limit or speed, you just need to keep moving for the seven minutes Steve sets. That’s all.
And the next class it is: “A pet is a good way to keep exercising when you’re a professional, since they need love and attention. What I won’t recommend is adopting three kittens.”
“Why did you adopt three then?” Johnny, one of the jocks, asks.
Steve rolls his eyes and says: “Because Eddie didn’t want to separate any of them from their siblings,” in a tone that is too fond for the annoyance he’s trying to convey.
“That’s kinda sweet,” Amanda comments and Jessie can’t help but agree with the cheerleader.
“It is, but he isn’t the one that got woken up at 5:00 AM by multiple kittens on his face,” Steve rolls his eyes, finishing the cooling down. “Anyway, my point is, think of things you enjoy that bring movement into your life. It’s not really homework, more something to consider.”
After that they all file out of the gym to get changed in the musty changing room that has seen the sweat of too many teenagers.
And the talk of Eddie doesn’t stick to his classes. Jessie goes to counseling with him, appreciating how he takes her seriously, how he never presumes to know her better and his suggestions are actually helpful, like he has been through something himself.
But that doesn’t stop him from coming in with a rumpled sweater as he says: “Sorry, I look a mess. Eddie is away right now and he usually irons my clothes in the morning.”
“Eddie irons your clothes every morning?” Jessie asks, unable to help herself, craving to know more about her teacher’s domestic life, even though it’s a bit strange.
However, going off Steve’s soft look, he doesn’t mind one bit to talk about his partner. “Yeah, he’s really sweet. He has looser hours, but he gets up with me anyway. Always says that since he doesn’t have to get dressed that it’s the least he can do.”
“That’s really sweet,” Jessie smiles.
“It is,” Steve agrees, before shuffling through his notes, glasses perched on his face. “Now, you said last time you’ve been sleeping a little better, that still the case?” And with that they move back to Jessie and her problems.
Still, even without guidance counselor sessions the Senior class has a pretty good idea of who Eddie is. He is a sweetheart and a softy, but overall an average caring dude, who has managed to capture the heart of their PE teacher.
But when they actually meet the man, no one recognizes him.
They’re in PE class, doing the cooling down when Jessie notices a man at the doorway, who instantly makes her uncomfortable with the way they are all bend over. He is dressed in black ripped jeans, a dark gray shirt with red letters reading ‘The Devil Was an Angel Too’ and has a leather jacket on. His neck is full of chains and his hands adorned by rings, hints of tattoos peaking out everywhere.
Yet, he does nothing but stand there for a moment, leaning against the door frame. His long dark, curly hair hides his expression, so Jessie doesn’t know what he’s staring at exactly. Though he seems relaxed, one leg crossed over the other, heavy boot resting on its tip.
Obliviously Steve continues on, moving into another stretch as he continues: “This is very good for you back, important for you all since you’re carrying a heavy bag around. I try to get Eddie to do this every night, but he’s so stubborn.”
“You shouldn’t be spreading lies like that, sweetheart,” the man speaks up, immediately getting the attention of everyone.
A hushed whispers go to the group of students as everyone notices the man, who at least sounds much nicer than he looks like, despite the words. However, more notable is how Steve lights up at the sudden appearance as he loudly exclaims: “Eddie! What are you doing here?”
That gets even more attention as multiple people repeat the name in surprise. Everyone giving up the pretense of cooling down in favor of gawking at The Eddie.
The Eddie in question looses a bit of his confidence under the students, before puffing himself up and grinning, revealing a sweet face. “That’s my name, don’t wear it out,” before turning to Steve and asking: “Have you been talking about me, princess?”
Steve has finally made his way through the crowd and is hugging the man closely. His soft colorful work out clothes contrast heavily against the metal look of Eddie. He is beaming as he shrugs: “I can’t help that you’re my favorite topic.”
“You flatter me,” Eddie smiles and his face and voice speaks to how much he adores the man in his arms.
“Not that I don’t love to see you, but you were supposed to come home tonight. Did something happen on tour?” Steve asks, brow furrowing as he tucks a bit of hair behind Eddie’s ear.
“Nah, all good,” Eddie assures him. “We got home early, because I drove for a bit so our driver could rest.”
Steve snorts: “Probably not that restful with you behind the wheel.”
“Uhm, excuse you,” Eddie guffaws, faux offended. “I distinctly remember one very eventful drive in that stolen RV.”
“Special circumstances and we gave that back,” Steve protests as the class raises their eyebrows to each other at the information they’re learning about their nice teacher.
“Sure, sweetheart,” Eddie smirks, before procuring a bag. “I was planning on crashing, but saw you forgot your lunch, so, you know, two birds on stone. You need the food and I was starved off your face, pretty boy.”
Suddenly the caring softie they’ve come to know through the stories. Because no matter how intimidating Eddie looks, that all falls away in how he looks at Steve. Not to mention how he came here, despite the fact that he was tired, just to see Steve and make sure he’s okay.
Jessie is near tears at the thought of someone caring so much, before she starts to think closer. Her little brother had mentioned one of his bands to her, shown her pictures too. And this man before her seemed very familiar for some reason.
“Oh my god,” she’s suddenly loudly yelling, despite hating attention, “you’re Eddie Munson! You’re the lead singer of Corroded Coffin. My brother loves you.”
Everyone is looking at her, but she’s looking at Eddie, who first looks surprised then a big smile breaks out on his face. “Your brother has great taste,” Eddie tells her.
“Wait he’s famous?” Amanda asks.
Now Eddie looks bashful as he explains: “I won’t say famous-famous. We can get a crowd, but we’re not doing world tours exactly. It’s a metal band.”
“I’m glad you don’t,” Steve interjects. “I don’t think I could miss you for that long.”
“If I ever get that famous, you can quit your job and travel with me,” Eddie promises, kissing Steve’s temple. Before he teases: “You can finally embrace your trophy wife tendencies.”
Steve playfully slaps his chests and protests: “I don’t have trophy wife tendencies.”
“Tell that to the mayor after they cleared my name.” Eddie hip bumps him.
“He deserved that,” Steve replies, face darkening.
“Alright, lets not get into that now,” Eddie placates him. “You obviously have a class to teach and I’ve distracted you enough. I should go and let you get back to teaching.”
And Jessie swears she’s seen her little cousins pull similar faces to Steve’s as he pleads: “My break is right after. You can wait for a little, right?” Eddie looks on the fence, so Steve pulls out the big guns. “I haven’t seen you in a month, Eds. Please.”
“Alright, alright, sweetheart,” Eddie gives in. “I’ll wait in your office.”
“Great,” Steve smiles in that smug way that one smiles after winning an argument or getting their way. Then he turns to the class and says: “Come on, walking people. No running. This is to cool down, not to get you pumped up again.”
As they walk, Jessie suddenly has more friends than before as everyone comes to question her what she knows about Eddie. She doesn’t know much, often tuning her little brother out, but she knows more than most.
So, they spend the last minutes of class gossiping about how different Eddie is to what they though he’d be like. At first Jessie can talk along, until they start mention how hot he is. To save herself, she mumbles something about him having a nice voice, before quickly making her way to the changing rooms.
Once she’s done, she hesitates. If she tells her brother about this and she didn’t get Eddie’s autograph, he’ll kill her, but she also doesn’t want to interrupt the recent reunion of the two. In the end, she swings by at the end of her lunch period.
Tentatively she knocks on the door until she gets permission to enter. Then she opens the door, popping in her head. Eddie is sitting on the usual talking chair, though he’s sprawled over it, while Steve sits in his own chair, leaning heavily on the table to be closer to Eddie. When he sees her, he smiles: “Ah, Jessie, anything I can help you with?”
“Oh, uhm,” she stumbles. “This is a bit embarrassing, but my little brother will murder me, if I didn’t ask for your autograph, Mr. Munson.”
Eddie snorts. “Mr. Munson, did ya hear that, princess? They have some respect for me, unlike your rascals.”
“My rascals are also yours and I had nothing to do with their manners,” Steve protests.
“Yeah, yeah,” Eddie waves him away, before focusing back on Jessie and giving her a disarming and sweet smile. “And it’s no problem, I’m glad your brother likes our music so much. You have anything particular to sign?”
“Uhm, not really and thanks so much,” she tells him.
“Here,” Steve hands him a piece of paper alongside a pen.
Eddie raises a brow at him and asks: “Do you have always our merch just lying around in your office like that?” before signing and handing Jessie a card with the full band on it.
Steve shrugs: “Of course.”
“God, your perfect, I love you,” Eddie breathes as if he’s in awe of Steve. It makes Jessie feel a bit like she’s intruding on a special moment, but she can’t bring herself to look away either. Because Steve is blushing and having a soft smile in turn and they just look so goddamn happy.
Unable to stop herself, she says: “Thanks again. I hope you get to catch up properly, you’re an adorable couple.”
Both of them send her a knowing smile, before thanking her and sending her on her merry way. She doesn’t know what she feels exactly, but she feels mostly seen and happy. Maybe hopeful for the future.
With lighter spirit she walks through the hallways, she can’t wait for next PE class.
~~
A/N:
I considered making Steve a History teacher, because it would make the story easier to get him talking and he does seem like someone who could become a History teacher, but actually cool PE teacher!Steve lives in my brain rent free XP
Chapter 12 - Let's Kick Some Ass
Genre: Fluff, Clay x Reader
Word Count: 1.6k
< Previous | Next >
Tumblr media
Your last couple of weeks were pretty hard but finally, you gathered up all the courage to tell people what Bryce had done with you. You told your parents the night Clay came to visit you and gratefully your parents were incredibly supportive. They did not overreact at all and acted rationally with the situation. Though it was hard to control the testosterone energy of the group.
Everyone was filled with rage, but you never wanted to fight with violence, you complained about Bryce to the Principal, and he was given suspension and a probation order from the police. Days passed eventually and every day felt a little better and with Clay, by your side, you had a sense of relief.
You were back to practice and now all you focused on was the finals of the Basketball Tournament which was being hosted by your school this was the first time your school qualified for finals and providing the fact that this was the last game you will play with the team made it more important.
You reached school, today was important because it was the game night and you agreed to help Charlie with his plan of asking out Alex for the prom. Charlie had an overly sweet and romantic plan, he decorated the main hallway and Jessica, and you were supposed to hold a huge banner written “PROM?” on it, Charlie stood beside the banner with Alex’s favorite flowers in his hands.
Alex entered the hallway and gave an opposite reaction to what you guys were expecting, all you got from him was a sigh of disappointment. Alex was never a fan of cheesy romance but Charlie on the other hand was the king of cheesy romance.
“Oh, Alex! Enough with your tantrums, just say ‘yes’ already. If you don’t go, I will go with him” you say to Alex.
Alex chuckles and walks up to Charlie and says “If I will not go with you then with whom will I go, Charlie? You did not have to do all this. It is obvious that if I go, you will be my date.”
Charlie was still not satisfied and said “You did not answer my question. So, Alexander Dean Standall, will you be my date to the senior prom?”
“You’re lucky you’re adorable otherwise I would have dumped you a long time back, and Yes Charles Hayden Brixton St. George it would be an honor to be your date.” Charlie started deep into Alex’s eyes and gave him a sweet passionate kiss.
The school air was filled with promposals, and every room and every corridor was full of red roses and confetti.
“It sucks to see all these people happy when your boyfriend has not even asked you about prom yet,” said Jessica.
“He hasn’t yet? But aren’t you guys dating for like a couple of years now? Isn’t it obvious?” you asked.
“But still you know.”
You could hear the frustration in her voice. Making Jessica mad is one of the many things that you should never do in your life. To calm her down you said, “If Justin doesn’t ask then I’ll go with you because Nerd hasn’t asked me yet too.”
“Yes, screw the boys, they are of no use”.
After your fourth period, you were supposed to go to the gym and get ready for the game tonight. Before going you met Clay to see him for the last time before the evening.
“Sup Nerd?”
“Hey, you look pretty happy. Excited about the game?”
“Yeah, more like nervous but yeah excited too. Anyways I’ll go for the practice so see you at the game?”
“My fifth is free so I can hang around longer.”
“Good, you can help me stretch” you winked at him.
“Nah, you can do it. If a coach sees me then he will make me exercise too.”
“Okay then, I’ll just ask Zach to help.” You say teasing him and starting to walk away.
“No Y/N wait, I’ll be there. I will just keep my stuff in the locker, okay?”
You smile at his innocence and proceed toward the gym. When you enter the gym, you see Justin standing beside one of the machines. You walk up to him and say, “Hey Justy, we have a problem.”
“What? What is it Y/N?”
“You have not asked your girlfriend yet to be your date to the senior prom.”
“Holy shit, just tell the coach I’ll be right back” While saying this Justin ran out of the gym as fast as he could panicking. That was the effect Jessica had on him. As the gym was almost empty you hear your coach and principal having a conversation in the coach’s office. You go there and knock on the door.
“Y/N, good you are here. We want your opinion on something.” Said the Coach.
“Yes sir, what is it?”
“Umm, Principal thinks that we should not let play Bryce today’s game. I know it is not easy for you to play with him, but still, what do you think?”
You turn to the principal and say “Uh sir, Coach is right. Whatever he did to me shall not come in between the game we are going to play. We cannot let it ignore the fact that he is one of the best players we have on the team that can guarantee a win. I think we should let him play, otherwise sir, it is your call.”
Principal Bolan was convinced by your point, and it was true that above everything it was more important to win the trophy for the school.
The decisive moment arrived. All the Liberty Tigers gathered in the locker room and Justin gave a pre-match motivating speech as his duty as the captain. Everyone was filled with a desire to win the goddamn match and show the opposite team who the Liberty Tigers are. The cheerleading squad did their segment before the game began.
After that, both the teams entered the basketball court to start the battle. You found it hard to admit but the other team was playing too well which made the chance of the Liberty Tigers winning less.
As you looked at the crowd who came to watch the game, you caught Clay’s eyes which were gleaming at you. He raised both his thumbs to cheer you up and you turned your focus back to the game after a five-minute break.
While Clay was attentively watching the game Tyler approached him with the camera. He was taking pictures for the yearbook and went up to Clay to say ‘hi.’
“Clay! Hi! Since when you started liking sports?”
“Oh, hey Tyler. Uh I am here for Y/N”.
“Yeah, I get it. She is pretty hot, isn’t she? And when she plays”
“Um, bro she is my girlfriend.”
There was an awkward silence between the two, but Tyler had to make it worse and asked with disbelief “Really?” Clay simply nodded to Tyler’s question and Tyler shrugged and went to a different location to take pictures.
It was halftime and the score was 20-15 and your team was losing. Everybody went inside the locker room to cool themselves down and discuss the strategy for the other half of the game. Justin was going to give another speech, but you cut him off by saying “Justin, can I take this?” Justin nodded in trust, and he let you speak.
“Guys, many of you think I do not belong on this team. But today the game is not about me or you or the school. It is about the fact that this is our last game together before we graduate. Now, will it not be better if we win that goddamn trophy in our last game rather than losing to some private school that think they are better than everyone. So, let us play. Let us play for that sportsmen spirit inside us which will not take losing as an option.” You stretched out your hand and made eye contact with Zach “So...”
Zach cut you off, said, “Whatever it takes?” and put his hand on your hand.
“No, let’s kick some ass”.
Everyone held hands and unity and said in unison, “Let’s kick some ass.”
Everyone went back to the court filled with new energy and you did kick all the asses. Your team won by 35-28. In excitement, the whole team lifted you on their shoulders as you were the lightest and made a round of the whole court. Principal Bolan announced the winner and handed over the trophy to the team. After giving his speech of gratitude you asked him for the mic.
The audience was still cheering as you said “Thank you all for your support, now I wanted to say something. This guy in this crowd is supposed to be my boyfriend and hasn’t asked me to the prom yet. So, I thought why not make this big gesture and ask him myself.” The crowd started cheering with anticipation. Hearing this Clay was both embarrassed and confused. You continued “So Nerd, would you like to be my date to the prom?”
Clay climbed down from the audience stand and started walking towards you. You gave the mic to Justin and ran towards him. You looked at him with hope in your eyes. He held your hands and said, “Yes Y/N I’ll go with you to the prom.” He kissed your forehead, and you hugged him with excitement. While you hugged him you realized that he was not hugging you back. You said, “Clay, you should hug me back otherwise it will be very awkward.”
Clay struggled to speak “Yeah, I will if you leave my hands free.” You let go of him you both laughed at your stupidity. Clay hugged you firmly and the entire crowd started cheering for your courage.
