Just bingewatched Broadchurch s1. Alec Hardy is such a mess of a human being . I love him. He is so perfect cause he's so terrible.

feel like polish trying to act like british bc of the accent im trying to pull off 💀 bc my english is that well that i can learn shutting down my really hard to beat one, and if you know me you know that i LOVE english accent (welsh is cute af too) (scotish and irish are not worse really) and if i get to choose i personaly prefer to sound like it, even tho it's more difficult than american. so in school for example when im reading an exercise i feel so stupid sounding like a fake british (ESPECIALLY THAT WE HAVE SO MANY KIDS WHO ONCE LIVED IN THE UK HERE IN POLAND, IN MY CLASS IN THE PAST 3 YEARS WERE 4). at least my english teacher likes me so she don't have any opinions (or doesn't share them w me) abt it. and i can say that with uk films, podcasts and all of it the shit goes pretty well

also it varies like theres standard english, queens / kings english, pr english (like skz hans accent) northern vs southern and many counties having more than one exact accent. id go for standard accent u can practice it but it still wont be ur natural born accent if that makes sense? check some videos on it on youtube if ur ever bored. i think accents are harder to put on as an adult unless its ur own, just dont for the love of god go for a scottish or scouse accents. theyre the worst.
