Who’s that Pokémon? It’s Oddish!

I’m back with another plushie, which may or may not be food based? (on one hand, an onion/radish/turnip, on the other hand… don’t eat Oddish! D8 ). Anyway, I made this for the son of a friend of my father, who happened to like Pokémon a lot. Since I wanted to try to make a Pokémon plushie for a while, this was the perfect opportunity~

Just like most plushies I made, it is completely made out of fleece. The leaves have some quilt-batting inside to give it some shaped stuffing and a craft pipe cleaner around the stem to give it more stability. The eyes are red buttons and the mouth is an fleece patch that is embroidered on. I used the zigzag stitch on the sewing machine, with the stitch length very close to zero. That’s also called the satinstitch and hoo boi, I love to use that everywhere!

And yes, the plushie I made is darker/not as blue as it is supposed to. But you gotta work with what you can find.
