I don't remember the name of this fic but I will add it in later. It was a Jonsa time travel fix it AU.

The conversation takes place after S, A and J explain everything to Ned.Ned speaks to Jon privately and says this (paraphrasing abit):

"My wife hating you solidified the lie I told that you were my bastard. Her reactions to you and her despising you proved to be the best protection of all. Sealing the lie as truth that you were my bastard son."

Ayyyy when I read that paragraph I was so hurt but also bruhhhhh it was so smart.

This is an angle that I've never considered before and I love that we get to explore all sides of a universe and its characters in fandom.

O céu meridional estava num turbilhão de cores incandescentes e em constante transformação, reflexo dos grandes incêndios que ardiam embaixo. Sinistras marés verdes moviam-se contra as nuvens mais baixas, e lagoas de luz laranja espalhavam-se pelo céu. Os vermelhos e amarelos das chamas comuns guerreavam contra os esmeraldas e jades do fogovivo, com cada cor relampejando e logo perdendo força, gerando exércitos de sombras de breve existência, que morriam um instante mais tarde. Alvoradas verdes davam lugar a crepúsculos laranjas em meio segundo. O próprio ar cheirava a queimado, como uma caldeira de sopa às vezes cheirava quando era deixada tempo demais ao fogo e toda a sopa evaporava. Fagulhas pairavam no ar noturno como enxames de vaga-lumes.

Sansa afastou-se da janela, retirando-se para a segurança de sua cama. Vou dormir, disse a si mesma, e quando acordar será um novo dia, e o céu estará de novo azul. A batalha estará acabada e alguém me dirá se vou viver ou morrer.
