This year was very exciting for me as I became a new mum in April and had to find my bearings. Unfortunately, I didn't have much time to draw, but when I did have time for myself, I took the time to draw between playing Switch (Disney dreamlight valley). Unfortunately, I didn't get everything done that I had planned on my to-do list, but that's okay😀

This has probably been done a million times already, but I suddenly thought of writing a fanfic where the Byakko clan were secretly vampires all along. This would explain their “cat-like” fangs and ears. It turns out they’re actually the same species as Sanguinex. Maybe I’ll reveal other characters as vampires as well.

When he said he would try to find a cure—he meant it.

As time went on…

He was losing hope.

He ran away from everyone he loved and everything he knew.

He looked for one person.

Sanguinex.

The leader of the dark bladers was the one who turned him. If Kai wanted answers, he knew he would have to go through him first.

Kai had managed to make it to Europe on his own. Then severed all ties.

He started his search in France. He was surprised when Sanguinex found him first.

He viewed Kai as his precious offspring. He was very vocal about choosing Kai over anyone else.

Kai was disturbed by the way he treated him. Yet he couldn’t deny…

He needed him.

When Kai arrived in Europe he was a shell. He hadn’t had a single drop of blood. He was frail and paler than ever before.

Sanguinex took pity on him and babied him back to health.

Chapter four: 30 Degrees

“It’s a shame really… we could have been friends” Sanguinex jokes, laughing maniacally on his high chair. Remira spat as a lever was pulled, a chainsaw emerged from the wall, rapidly spinning its sharp blades. “This is your way of killing me?” Remira gritted, she was horrified. No, words couldn’t even describe what she was feeling, it was like a compex jar of different emotions. “Would you rather it be cutting off your parts individually?” Sanguinex suggested “slow deaths are always my favorite.”. Terrence couldn’t stand another word out of this guy. He grasped his machine gun, stickers plastered all over it from Remira which made the whole gun less intimidating. Shots fired, ruining the whole process. Remira screamed in joy, “I told you!” She yelled. “I won't let you hurt this industry’s number one” Terrence uttered, shots still firing. Sanguinex’s face was a still and calculated expression. He was debating on what move to make next. “If you take Remira to another room… or touch me, I will massacre every guard in this room” Terrence promised, now Sanguinex sighed. Despair was in the air, radiating from him. “You two have no limit.” Sanguinex urged back a scream. “I knew you would come back!” Remira said, smiling proud “justice always prevails”. Terrence grinned, lifting up his machine gun, “And so it does. Guilt was eating me away, I had to”.

Terrence admitted. “I have never been more happy to have befriended a goody-two shoes” Remira confessed. Sanguinex gagged “Enough! I’ll kill you both myself” Sanguinex rapidly snatched his signature ax. It may look like a pathetic weapon for a boss, but that ax has slaughtered many. It was a weapon only Sanguinex could master in such a way. Remira screeched “Terrence, get me out of here!” Her pupils dilated. Terrence completely lunged himself running to the straps and firing shots. The straps broke one by one as Remira was roughly let loose, falling to the concrete floor. Remira left the area as fast as she could as Sanguinex followed right behind her, swinging his ax in a complex motion. Remira screeched again, clawing her way out of his sight, “I’ve got to go” She said. Terrence sighed, Remira had a reputation for being selfish. But then he felt a hand grasp his and Remira pulled him forward. Remira also had a reputation for paying people back. As they ran Remira shouted, “They took my stuff, I have to resort to hand to hand combat” Remira let out a deep breath, letting go of Terrence’s hand and raising her fists as the guards crowded their exit. Terrence placed his back against hers, copying her motion. “Can you stop speaking in ‘I’s? We’re a team now” Terrence put out, Remira grimaced “We are?”. The guards started to move in, Remira was always the first to make a move, she didnt care what her defense class told her. Fists flew, guards dropped to the floor. A guard went for Terrence as Remira blocked it by knocking him out. Terrence just watched in awe as he realized the entire room returned to being empty with only them and Sanguinex’s horrified face. “We… are… a team.” Terrence concluded in a hushed voice.

Remira just took his hand again as they rushed to the exit, slamming the doors open as the outside breeze covered their faces.
