Fandom is the place where stories, art, music, etc. can, and often should be more problematic than the stuff that our regular, everyday, hyper-sanitized, mainstream media allows for. The push to basically bubble wrap fandom has me seriously concerned for the future.

So i made some tweets about Beyblade birthdays and when i tried to find more informations about Beyblade Burst characters birthdays, i was so surprised because they put... BLOOD. TYPE. Hear me again, BLOOD. TYPE. Considering that Metal Fight lacking personal data on its characters, this makes me jealous so much. Beyblade Burst has their exact birth dates, blood types, even confirmed that they are underages... I kinda wish Takara Tomy would allow Adachi-sensei to at least reveal the characters birth date, officially. I want to know when Kyoya was born!??!?!?

The reason that even now I use the same argument about why I like more m/m than m/f or f/f:

Because I like it. Just that.

And cmon, is not like there aren't gay men doing m/m fanworks. There is a lot, you just need to seek more.

Some of them does f/f too!

"Pleasure is never enough of a reason for a woman to do something."

That sums it up. There's always an "excuse" for women to like m/m: "most of us are actually queer themselves!", "f/f community is too hostile!", "het gender roles are oppressive!" or "there aren't enough female characters in the media!" (yet male-centric niche series are disproportionately popular on Tumblr, and so are some small male characters).

I'm not saying these arguments don't have some validity, but why can't women simply like to watch/read about two men falling in love? This gatekeeping is insane, especially if we consider it's mostly women doing this, since gay men barely care about the matter.
