It was recently..... Forced upon me.... That I might have a form of synesthesia?

Words and sounds have a taste (and sometimes smell) and I've regularly said that I can "taste" the difference when speaking samewords like their, there, and they're, or to, too and two.

Y'all need to stop teaching me things about myself, y'all mean to say you can't taste words? Really?? What?! How???!!

okay so i listened to the entirety of the stolen century yesterday and.....ouch. ouch guys. i'm in real pain still, like. all of it just got, really sad? i mean..it was obvious just how exhausted and emotionally fucked up they all were by that last cycle, and then the back-to-back scenes of them all forgetting was just fuckin horrifying

davenport's forgetting was like. i figured that one would be bad, all things considered, but man that was just. so bad. so bad. i almost hate that it was first, because that meant i was already crying by the time the other scenes happened, but nothing would've made that scene okay tbh. davenport's fucking fantastic, okay? best captain, best leader, he's so good. fuckin love that angry gnome.

and then of course taako's "who?", though i've gotta say that while that fucked me up, the part where he like, falls to his knees on the deck after blasting barry off the side and he realizes that he doesn't know who it was that he just killed and he doesn't know where he is, sitting on the deck of the ship that's been home for a hundred years? i think that was almost worse.

and, like. magnus finding lucretia, and lucretia's desperate apologies and like, her efforts to get him to sit down so he didn't get hurt if he fell, and her telling him that she loves all of them so much, like. just fuck me up, why doncha griffin?????

them talking about being a family, because they have nothing else left, nothing left from home and nothing else consistent and lasting but each other

and of course--sometimes there's not right decisions, there's just decisions

(also lup basically acting as taako's moral compass? like, he's her heart, but lup is the person that kinda teaches and allows?? taako to care about other people? and that's why he is the way he is through most of the podcast, why he's so mean and tries his damnest to not show that he cares?? and that hurts???? and also her constantly starting off with "listen,--", the fact that they use a lot of the samewords and phrases? i love it so much?)

also them talking about their own newfound mortality, sort of? them realizing that..this is it. they can't die on this world, because this time they won't come back. all seven of them being kinda terrified of the necessity of keeping themselves alive now?

and barry's constant cycle of dying and living as a lich until he can regrown his body, leaving instructions for himself in an effort to find lup. also him freaking the fuck out when he sees taako with the umbra staff and promptly flips, to which the three of course start in on a tangent about how dead the body they took it from was, and barry just, like "you found her?!" and nearly loses control of his lich form

them all being so stressed as their escapes from the hunger and each dying world get closer and closer, and the times where they nearly didn't make it? where one, maybe two of them survive to escape and carry the fate of their mission with them? the one where they all died except for lucretia, turned to stone before that court and leaving lucretia to fix their shot-down ship and run from the authorities for a year in a ship she never learned to fly? the beginning of madam director????

alSO THE BEST DAY EVER. WHAT THE FUCK. THAT WAS SO GOOD AND SO PURE AND TAAKO GAVE LUP THE BEST DAY

them makin bombass food and getting into a watergun fight with cap'nport and lup wielding two wands and blowing up the dmv with altogether more fireballs than strictly necessary. i love that firebaby. she is so wonderful

also him being like, fucking terrified the whole time was just. wowzers. ouch. and justin making it a fucking point to say "yeah so taako's making jokes n shit over this bottle of alcohol here but if you look under the table, his legs are shaking" like. justin? that's not okay??? shut the fuck up???????? he's so scared and it hurts but he supports lup anyway???

also griffin just casually dropping the bomb about the umbra staff by having her spar with taako using that vs the krebstar. justin's lil "oh, Fuck You" in the background when he realizes that taako's been wielding his dead sister's weapon for most of the fuckin podcast, and that means the body he pulled it from had to have been hers, didn't recognize her didn't even realize

and magnus and fisher. so good. so cute. travis bein like "yeah okay lemme address the elephant in the room here--i'm not leaving that fuckin fish behind" like? so good? fisher loves magnus' lil wooden ducks?? magnus is such a good boy? i love how much personality fisher has. also, magnus accidentally calling it fishie really early on, during its duet with johann (also what the fuck i love johann why did that thing happen i'm still upset)

(also i love the thing that magnus' voice does when he gets really angry/adamant about things? like, really rough and aggressive, because, idk. magnus is a really interesting character to me? he's so sweet and caring, but he's a fighter. he's aggressive to a point, fights with his hands and with blades and shields and not magic. he's got a great moral compass but like. idk, he's a neat character, and i kinda dig how his voice does that thing--for example, him threatening lucas in the lab, or him yelling at lup not to leave, not to let the others take the ship, because he needs to get fisher on the ship, normally they could leave him to die and it would be fine but not right now, he needs this and his voice shows it. when magnus gets adamant and super serious his voice gets really rough and aggressive and angry, in comparison to how taako's voice gets really...soft? really quiet and soft when he says something emotional and serious)
