So I’m jumping between ideas for the fake dating fic with Sam. One idea I have is loosely based on the marriage between Teddy Altman and Henry Burton on Grey’s Anatomy. The rough outline I have for it is: Tara gets hurt badly and her insurance won’t cover the surgery, but Reader is a surgeon who is assigned to Tara’s case. Sam can’t pay for the surgery so R offers her insurance, but the only way for this to work is through marriage. Sam initially refuses but after Tara’s health declines, she does a court house marriage with R. There’s a lot more drama mixed into it, but I’m gatekeeping that for now!!!

Another idea I’ve been thinking about is just the basic fake dating stuff: Tara wants Sam to get out of her shell so she starts setting Sam up on dates but Sam hates all of them. So to get out of this, Sam just starts telling people she’s seeing R, who is a friend of the group

I’m probably going to go with the first option just because I haven’t seen something like that for Sam and I think it would be interesting to write
