Imagine, okay... Just imagine:

Your f/o has had a long day. They just want you. They've been thinking about you all day. Hell, the only thing that's gotten them through today is them thinking "just get through today...s/i is home waiting for me ..."

When they finally get home, they immediately search for you, finding you waiting for them in the kitchen having already made dinner for them.

They eat and afterwards they take a shower and finally, it's the best part, they get to cuddle you to bed.
