BNHA Rewrite 1A: The Minor Characters

And finally, the background characters.

Mashiro Ojiro - Lion Dance

First off, his Quirk is called Lion Tail, a combo of his mother’s Leomorph Quirk and his father’s Monkey Tail.

Beyond the tail, he has claws, sharp teeth, and longer toes that afford him better grip.

Prefers Wado-Ryu Karate & Monkey Style Kung Fu.

Slightly more aggressive, always up for a challenge.

Grew up in a dojo, son of two martial artists. Skilled poet, Tokoyami is jealous.

While his tail tuft is blonde, his hair is actually black and dyed to match.

Sparring partners and friends with Uraraka, alongside Kirishima, Sato, & Hagakure.

Best martial artist in 1A, neck in neck with Nirengeki for best in First Year.

Tooru Hagakure - Transluminescent

Her costume is made from her hair (like Mirio’s).

Pink & blue crystalline bodysuit and pocket skirt.

Koji Koda - Anivoice

His Quirk is named Nature’s Call.

Borders between talking and and command.

Selectively mute, but has trouble with JSL due to his face hampering traditional facial expressions. Still, JSL buddies with Jirou, Bakugo & Shinso.

Still growing the ‘Antennae’ that would allow him to use his Quirk telepathically.

Okay, here me out:

Relatively standard roleswap, Slayer Nezuko & Demon Tanjiro, maybe with Nezuko wielding some derivative of Water and/or Flame Breathing (I’m partial to Vine or Magma for the name) but the big changes are her first two companions:

Genya Shinazugawa: An aggressive, cagey, but ultimately noble & kind Slayer who lacks a Breathing form, though he makes up for it any other way he can, like guns, repetitive actions, poisons and a surprisingly keen tactical mind. And his demon eating ability, though he tends to keep it under wraps for somewhat obvious reasons.

Muichirou Tokito, a…loopy if nice amnesiac Mist Breather with a tendency to zone out and is generally regarded as having the survival instincts of a lemming, save for moments where he either hyper focuses or loses touch with reality altogether (there’s genuine debate on the matter) and busts out moves worthy of a Hashira.

Their age mates among the core are Aoi & Senjuro (mostly unchanged, but I might swap them out for each other) The ruthless tsuguko Inosuke, Zenitsu ( who I’m unsure of. The Genya to Kaigaku’s Sanemi? Another Tsuguko? Someone like Aoi or Senjuro?) and the seemingly emotionless youngest Hashira, Kanao Tsuyuri…

BNHA HC of the day: Dabi & Nine were both Shigaraki’s ‘backups’ that were seen in Chapter 350, kids whose Quirks strained their bodies, and thus would provide ample experiments for Garaki’s body strengthening procedure.

Six, meanwhile, was essentially an attempt to create a body from scratch.

Nine was the only survivor, at least partially because Touya (Four) burnt down the orphanage.

Villain Deku Idea: Singularity

Admittedly, this is more a Quirk Idea than an actual character, but I still want to put it out there.

A DFO AU where Izuku’s power is a true hybrid of AFO & Pull, able to steal Quirks at a distance...but with a twist.

The Quirk, “Singularity” acts similar to a power exhibited by the character Eidolon from the web serial Worm, which allowed the character in question to essentially drain the overarching “superpower provider” so to say, of other superhumans. 

When Singularity is triggered, it begins to "Pull in” nearby Quirks, lessening the potency of Emitter & Transformation types while complex Mutants begin to recede, leaving the normal human underneath. Izuku in turn can begin to use these powers in ever increasing potency, until Singularity is turned off, the victim leaves the Quirk’s area of effect, or they are left essentially Quirkless. 

Quirk usage increases the rate of draining, and more powerful Quirks take longer to drain. The big catch is, the draining is only temporary, and once Singularity is released, or they get far enough away, the drained Quirks will return their owners...

...Unless they’re killed before Singularity ends. 

The other big catch is that when the original wielder is killed, Izuku only gets the  power he drained, and not the full Quirk, and he can’t stack Quirks like AFO, though he can use enhancers to buff up his other powers, and he can only use three of his powers at once.

It cannot be stolen by AFO, and does not directly affect AFO (though both can drain each other’s stolen Quirks) or OFA

I adore YOU man🥺🥺🥺 also I absolutely can!!! Ive been on a unannounced hiatus and i’m super sorry about that, i hope you enjoy this (even if it’s a little short!)

His class is by no means negitive, but certainly surprised. A few of them had even accidentally pulled the “wow, you don’t look gay!” before having someone else explain that you don’t say that.

Aizawa was expecting some surprise when he mentioned you, referring to you as “his husband” (because,,,, that’s what you are). He had beat around the bush a few times, referring to you as his spouse instead, but he figured it was only a matter of time before one of them got nosey.

Oddly enough, despite telling of your existence, they were still surprised to see you in the flesh. Aizawa had forgotten to bring himself lunch one day, and you knew if he didn’t bring himself anything he was going to let himself go hungry. You were NOT having that.

It was right before lunch was, he had just finished wrapping up his lecture, and the class were talking quietly among themselves. You peaked your head in the door, whispering a small “Shouta!”

Your efforts of being slick weren’t great, as a few students noticed you immediately. Damn.

You walked in and up to your husband, handing him a little bento box. You playfully scolded him for leaving without it, and he rolled his eyes. He offered you a quiet thank you, and flashed you a small smile. You contemplated on kissing him on the cheek to fluster him in front of his class, but you decided against it.

When you left the room, Ashido immediately stood up and whisper-yelled “Aizawa-sensei, was that your boyfriend!?”

He rolled his eyes once again and let out a sigh. The only thing he responded with was “Husband.”

It wasn’t an issue with them, as previously stated, but it was certainly something that made the class suddenly VERY intrigued in his personal life.

They asked only the innocent things, like how long you’ve been together, how you guys met, when you two got married, etc. Aizawa didn’t actually mind the little QnA, he enjoyed talking about you.

After class and during his lunch break, he noticed you had visited the lounge to catch up with Mic and Midnight. Upon him entering, you immediately turned your attention to him and smiled.

“Hey hun.” He called towards you, bringing you into a hug and pressing a kiss to your cheek.

“You’re gonna be the talk of the town around here for a bit,” He remarked with a small chuckle. “My students got excited to see you.”

“You told them about me before?” You asked, to which he nodded. “Didn’t see why I shouldn’t.”

After that, you popped in a few more times to bring him the damn lunch he keeps forgetting. At this point, you were starting to assume he was doing it on purpose to see you. You played along, and it was always fun to see his students. They always seemed so happy to see you. There was a few times you were even stopped for a mini QnA. You liked humoring their questions and just generally speaking to them. They were all such a lovely cast of personalities.

When you think you have a thing for a specific type of character and realize “nah, you just got a thing for their VA”

[bnha SK Pokemon AU] Izumo, a new region 7 Where is Deku? This damn Deku! When we got back to the Gym of Mr.Asakura this guy was lost! Yoh told us about their fight and that he looked kinda weird?! I havn’t a fuc%ing clue whats going on in his mind! Afterall we decidet to go to Ysopia, Flashhair talked something about maybe we can find him there. But when we arrived this old-fashion-hair-do guy talked some weird stuff about Deku fighting him before….. Well when this stupid head wants to be alone! Than he can! ~Bakugou Sometimes I wonder if Bakugou has feelings, but I guess he does. At least with his Pokemon. He fought Ryu on his second gym battle! …ok, ok after some training of course…. Afterall  I’m worried about that black haired boy… also Instaflame looks a way more stressed than usual… I wonder where this boy went… __________________ informations The picture shows different moments of Izuku and Katsuki’s fight against Ryu. First When Katsuki learned about the ‘run away’ of Izuku in Tetsukatown, Izuku traveled after his fight against yoh to Ryu in Ysopia, fighting his Poisen Pokemon an Akans and a Haunter.  After this he left Hours later Katsuki challenged Ryu also.  Meanwhile  Instaflame feels more and more scared, hoping about his buddy Hanari beeing alright. Hanari btw feels guilty, he feels the hatred of Izuku against his weaknesses.  (I know Izuku acts kinda strange than usual !!! but it it just a short arc ;) they all grow from this experiences.)   Now!!!! Fumikage Tokoyami with a shy exchange student crush

You were immediately a bit alienated due to your accent and your slightly broken Japanese. It wasn’t that you were bullied or anything. As a matter of fact you found your classmates in 1-A to be much more kind than most kids in your home country. Though, this didnt make you easier to communicate with.

You tended to keep to yourself sadly. You wanted to communicate and chat happily with your classmates, but they spoke so quickly and fluently that you’d have to ask them to slow down to understand. You were sure no one wanted to deal with that, so you decided you’d be doing them a favor by becoming the silent type.

Tokoyami didn’t fancy seeing your sad expression everyday, though.

While he wasn’t the one usually to go out of his way to speak to people (he usually only speaks when spoken to), he couldn’t stand watching you become further and further left behind. It reminded him of how he was at one point when he was younger. So, he choked back his own social anxiety for your sake.

“Can I sit with you?”

You had nearly jumped out of your skin hearing his deep voice speak to you. You had been studying at the lunch table you sat at by yourself when he had approached. You scanned his face for any look of malice. Why would he want to sit with you?

He cocked his head slightly at your stare. You snapped out of your thoughts and turned your head away. Your face grew red as you muttered. “Yes, you may.”

The first interaction between you two had been a bit one sided. You were clearly embarrassed by your accent and your robotic sounding Japanese, but it was something Tokoyami had found fascinating... and even a bit cute. He asked basic ice breakers in the most basic Japanese he could, asking where you were from and your native language and such.

You figured it would be a one time thing, but he kept coming back to you. Didn’t you bother him? How could he want to speak to you when you spoke on the level of a first grader?

After awhile you began to pick up a little on the things he’d say. Perhaps the reason you weren’t so fluent before was because you had no one to speak to in Japanese. Things were getting a bit easier now, and he seemed to be happy to help you understand certain words and how to use them.

Conversations went from cultural differences, to plans for the future, to interests and hobbies. You found yourself getting excited to speak to Tokoyami everyday, always rambling about the things you were passionate about and more. He noticed that your energy had become basically unrecognizable to how you once were. Looking at the sparkles in your pretty eyes as you spoke about your favorite heroes was one of many features Tokoyami was glad to see from you. You were still that shy person who flusters easy, sure, but you were much more energetic now.

He had truly found himself infatuated with you.

“And then I was like ‘gah! You can’t do that! Thats mean!’ And i fricken punched him!!! I have no idea why I thought punching him was a good idea, it was just like the first thing I thought to do!!! And it worked!!!” You spoke excitedly as you walked, Tokoyami at your side. He gave you a small smile in amusement at your wild tone and hand gestures.

The story you told was about your training you had that day. You apparently sparred with Bakugo that day and had managed to do a good bit of damage to him. Tokoyami chuckled a little as he thought about your little form taking on such a guy like Bakugo. He usually didn’t really like to think violent thoughts, but the thought of you giving Bakugo a good sucker punch brought Tokoyami a bit of satisfaction.

“How hard did you hit him?” He asked, trying not to show his morbid curiosity.

“Hard enough to knock him off his feet!! I mean I did get blasted like 40 feet for it after but hey!!!” You said cheerfully, earning another small chuckle from Tokoyami.

The two of you continued walking and chatting. This was a normal thing for you two. Tokoyami always walked you to your door room after classes were over. You don’t remember when this started, but you never really complained, as it was a time for you two to walk and talk, just the two of you.

When you reached your dorm room, Tokoyami bid a small farewell as he continued walking in the direction his was in.

“Wait.”

You called, grabbing him by the sleeve gently. He looked back at you, cocking his head slightly like he always did when confused. You took a deep breath.

“I um... I just wanted to thank you for everything you do for me. If it weren’t for you I wouldn’t have been as happy as I am in this school now.” You said, a soft smile on your face. Tokoyami let out a small sigh as he offered a smile back to you.

“Of course, I couldn’t stand seeing you alone. I didn’t want to see you sad anymore.” He spoke honestly, making you smile even more. You tugged him a little closer, earning a small “huh?” from him.

You pressed a small kiss to the tip of his beak, befor letting go of his sleeve. His face was priceless, a blush managing to burn brightly through his feathers. His feathers seemed to have fluffed themselves up out of shock. He stammered, trying his best to speak, but every word got caught in his throat. You chuckled lightly at the sight of him so flustered. You might have broken the poor thing.

“I’ll talk to you later Toko-kun.” You said softly, offering him a small wave as you entered your dorm room.

“Y-yeah... of course.” He muttered, despite him now being alone in the corridor.

As he walked back to his room, he placed his hand on his beak.

“I want a kiss from [Y/N] next time!” Dark Shadow exclaimed, making Tokoyami nearly jump out of his skin.

“What??? No!!”

“Greedy!!!”

“N-no I’m not!! Go away!!!”

-I have cruised the pegoryu ao3 tag for over a year. And this one still sticks out to me. As a fic made in the beginning of the tag, it’s so great. Ryu getting his hair bleached is always something I’m for. And it captures the interactions between the characters so nicely. A light and airy vibe. And possibly one of the best kissing scenes I’ve read.

I really like how easy to forget it is that bakugo is very competent and while he does run away with his gut and his emotions, he’s not a blind fool and I hope they keep that aspect of him growing rather than just diminishing him into just the angry friend-rival.

I have a thing for guys with dark hair. When I first saw the opening picture for Mystic Messenger I was immediately drawn to Jumin. I played his route second because I was that curious about him. 

James Bucchanan “Bucky” Barnes (Winter Soldier)

Pre-Hydra brainwashing James Bucchanan Barnes was the (and actually still is) the man. He’s the kind of guy you would see in old pictures and just swoon! He is that gorgeous. Getting into the Marvel fandom I got to know the dork that he was.

Midoriya “Deku” Izuku

Deku is just so hnggggggg. He’s the hero that you want to root for! He’s the little kid that you just want to succeed and protect at all cost. He’s my cinnamon roll.

Zen just for me was one of those guys. Hot and clearly way above my league. Just the kind of guy who would yank on your tail just to get in your pants. I was clearly proven wrong. He really is sincere and passionate in his work.

I think this is because of my loyalty to the original Spiderman franchise. Honestly, didn’t expect to love the new Spiderman movie and Tom Holland for that matter. Anyway, this new reboot is refreshing and I believe the most accurate to how Peter Parker is i the animated series and of course the comicbooks.

Bakugou “Kacchan” Katsuki

THIS KID. I just recently watched BNHA and damn I am in love with the series. Kacchan just seemed like your run-of-the-mill a-hole but no he’s just as precious as the other kids.

Okay. Besides the fact that I am absolutely S M I T T E N with Jumin Han here’s the deal-- I actually want a guy who’s ready to settle down and be serious. Out of all the characters in the game Jumin seems the most put together. This however doesn’t disregard the fact that he has issues of his own that he needs to deal with. We’ve all got that. I just think that with my anxiety issues and personality I feel drawn to the strong and stable Jumin Han. To find out about his flaws and vulnerability was truly a journey for me and made me love him even more.

(heyo, it's the admin here. i was thinking about the mysme fandom on tumblr right now and i just really got into my thoughts. I was looking at a couple of EXCELLENT mysme rp blogs as well as hunter x hunter. And I saw how everyone goes on and on about how much they love zen, but I look up at ask Hyun ryu and I get two results! I would've thought more people would have tried. One was a fabulous meme dump and although there were fabulous memes, it wasn't really an ask sort of thing. On the other one you had ONE text post basically stating that if you wanted to ask questions you could, which is all fine and dandy but they didn't really get OUT THERE, which is important here. Reblogging, following, liking, messaging, etc. This is about enthusiasm, and at this point, the mysme fandom is gonna lose to the Naruto, vld, and bnha fandoms, which are super hype. V's route has us all double hype, but we need to keep the hype going. Stuff like incorrect quotes, fanart, aesthetics, etc. so I will end with one final statement.

MYSME FANDOM, LET'S BRING SOME MORE HYPE AND RULE TUMBLR! I mean not like a dictatorship or any supremacism stuff, just getting REAL HYPE.
