All Day
Genre: fluff, au
Word Count: 2.2k
Warning: none
Summary: You keep Namjoon company as he buys and builds furniture for his new apartment.
A/N: Got this idea after his apartment tour on RM ‘All Day’ Part 1, the cozy vibes were immaculate and I can’t believe we got to see something so personal. It's my first time writing about BTS and I enjoyed it a lot tbh.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
“Aww thanks, it brings me a lot of joy to pick up furniture. I feel like in another life I could’ve been an interior designer.” You look up at him giving him a sincere smile, he greets the entrance guard introducing him to you and alerting him that if he saw you he could let you in anytime you needed.

“Aww thanks, it brings me a lot of joy to pick up furniture. I feel like in another life I could’ve been an interior designer.” You look up at him giving him a sincere smile, he greets the entrance guard introducing him to you and alerting him that if he saw you he could let you in anytime you needed.
“I would have hired you in a heartbeat.” He responds with a cheeky smile that makes his eyes look like daggers into your soul. Keep looking back at you to check that you are alright carrying the lightest box he gave to you because you refused to be empty handed.
“You know what this reminds me off?” You keep climbing the stairs to the first floor to the destination because Joon, as you call him, refuses to use the elevator for such a short distance going on about conserving electricity in simple ways.
“Pivooooot!” You say elongating the o sound and giggling at your own joke. Imitating Ross during the iconic couch scene from Friends. As you make a turn to the last few steps and he reaccomodates the boxes tightly in his arms, the weight enough to see the flex of his arm muscles.
“Shut up, shut up, shut up!” He pretends to be Chandler waving his arms around for comedic effect, waiting for your reaction because he thought he could have offended you but on the contrary you were laughing and he relaxes saking his head in disbelief that he just did that.
“Didn’t expect you to be a fan of Friends.” You wait behind him as he opens the door and he extends his arm as a signal to pass him by welcoming you.
“Oh yeah, I must confess that I learned English thanks to that show.” You met him on a exchange program college reunion as you both are international students. The program helps you adapt to the new environment with the comradery and companionship between locals and the group that stays for at least a year.
“That’s amazing, I learned English by reading romance books. My bestfriend harassed me into watching it just so we could discuss the episodes and don’t miss out on the references.” What better way to learn a new language than to just enjoying your favorite hobby.
“She’s a good friend then, I would have done the same thing. Actually tried with my roomates, but they ignored my persistent request.” You could imagine him forcing his friends to watch the sitcom and them pretending to enjoy it in order to shut him up.
“Oh right, your 6 roomates you talked to me about. That must have been very chaotic, do you feel at peace or lonely leaving by yourself now?” He leaves his shoes by the front door and you do the same keeping your socks on for comfort.
“A little bit of both, they became my family really quick because we used to see each other more than my actual family. But yeah I can’t lie that sometimes I wanted to run for the hills when they were making too much noise and I wanted to study or sleep. Sometimes I felt like an older brother or the dad of the group.” You think about the similarities because you are the therapist/mom of your girl-friends, even though they are far away you still try to talk to at least one of them everyday.
“I bet they’re missing you even more, maybe they’re thinking of transferring here at least for a year just to follow you around.” His expression changed from deep in thought to a lighter mood when you tried to lift his spirits.
“As much as I love them, I hope not because all of us are so attached that if we don’t take our own paths we would stay like Peter Pan and refuse to grow up.” He chuckles sitting down on the couch and motioning for you to do the same, you tuck your tote bag to the side and turn to face him.
“But the important thing is that you can count on them at the end of the day.” You attempt to highlight the positive side of the situation, not wanting him to dwell on the feeling of fear of how many things were changing in his life including getting a new place to live.
“Exactly, and now I also have you.” He looks at you with tenderness, a strand of his parted hair brushing his eye and you realize that he squeezed your hand because you couldn’t stop feeling the butterflies in your stomach and all you can do it’s nod and smile.
“Honestly I don’t know why you said you needed my help, even the stacks of books look like pieces of art.” You deflect by looking around the living room where he has a black marble coffee table, a couch and a love seat. As you entered the area you noticed several paintings on his walls and sculptures on shelves by the tv.
“You’re far too kind, also I trust you, your taste and your judgement. I could’ve ended up buying something crazy.” You blush and felt special that after such a short time of knowing each other he could feel comfortable.
“I mean you did almost buy a swing that hangs from the ceiling just because it reminded you of a park you went to once.” You give him a judgy look.
“It reminds me of my childhood, I’m still a little tempted to get it.” He lifts his arms in surrender just like a kid would react, and that melted your heart.
“No please, no. It’s a safety hazard and you can’t afford to not getting your album finished.” You stand your ground and scold him jokingly because you knew how hard he was working on his upcoming project. More often than not you texted him about classes or activities around campus and he always responded at ungodly hours. You got concerned about his health and he reassured you that he was taking time to rest between his crazy schedule.
“That’s true, by the way you should visit the studio sometime so I can show you some samples. I think you’ll enjoy it.” He brought the boxes and sat down on the floor in front of the couch to open them, reaching for a remote control to put on some R&B background music.
“I’ll be honored to judge your work, think of my opinions as valuable as the trash you forgot to take out this morning.” You say sitting down across him and pointing out to the bags sitting by the front of his door that never made it downstairs.
“Hey, I was in a hurry because I had to meet you and I looked like a complete mess when I woke up. I already know which song will be your favorite and I bet it’s the one that musicians tell me its their favorite” If this is how he looks after rushing you couldn’t imagine how he would look dressed up, his fashion sense exceeds the expectation of every boy you have seen. His classic white t-shirt that had you hyperventilating when he rolled the sleeves a little, jeans with dark and light blue patches and forest green jacket that he left on the perch.
“Well maybe next time you should consider me as a taste tester, like they do with food, for your future shenanigans.” You wink just to tease him a little and he smirks.
You’re a bit of a perfectionist, correction, a lot of a perfectionist. You help Joon in arranging the different sets of tools and screws he needed to assemble a bookshelf and a desk. While he reads the instruction manual that looked more complicated than the Biochemistry test you took before finally getting your bachelor’s degree. You can’t help but stare at his focused gaze through the glasses he put on figuring out what the demonstrative drawings meant. He has this duality of looking very intellectual and attractive at the same time, any time you try to explain his appeal to your friends they thought you spent too much time reading romance novels and made him one of your fictional boyfriends.
“Could you hand me the screwdriver, please?” You spend a few minutes like that hands brushing every time and you swear that he’s doing it purposely. In between handing things to him you inspected the titles of his books. Reading the spines, careful not to mess up the order and placement.
“You can take out whichever you want, I can sense your curiosity from here.” He notices that your eyes light up like a kid opening the presents under the Christmas tree.
“Sorry, I love books so much and I’m impressed that you have this many.” You mumble apologizing but feel better seeing his proud expression after you give him praise.
“I keep buying them even though I have less time to read these days.” He sighs, shaking his head and his perfectly styled hair sways to the side which is a habit you find adorable but are too afraid to tell him that.
“Bookworm struggles, I can relate. Carl Jung?” You pick up the book rasing an eyebrow at him because you were surprised to find something related to your current field of study. But then again you don’t doubt that he likes to learn new things constantly like you.
“Oh yeah, I’m revising it for some lyrics I want to include in my music. I just realized that this is another thing you could help me with, come be my teacher for a day or two to learn a few psychology theories.” He is literally speaking your love language.
“Don’t tempt me into making a beautiful powerpoint just for you ‘cause you know I will enjoy it and have it ready by tomorrow.” Is it possible to be academically flirting or am I just lame? You wondered but he seems to like your eagerness.
Taking out the book you start pacing around the living room reading it, dancing to the rhythm of the sensual music as he whispers/sings to himself. As time passes you have to re-read a few lines because you start fantasizing about the friendship with Joon turning into something more. Imagining the two of you moving in together, playing house like right now, decorating the apartment for Christmas, getting a pet, making your famous holiday themed chocolate chip cookies…
“What?” You catch him staring at you through your peripheral vision.
“Nothing.” His dragon eyes turned soft and you’re taken aback by his shyness, he’s usually very straightforward, especially giving you compliments or teasing you because he gets excited about how you’ll react.
“Oh I almost forgot, I bought something for you! I guess it counts as a housewarming gift.” You stop in your tracks and head towards your tote bag where you have cleverly hidden it.
“You didn’t have to.” He says while finally finishing his building project and setting them in the space you cleared out for him after making a pseudo blueprint of the area with doodles and estimated measurements in a piece of paper.
“I know, but it reminded me of you so I had to get it.” Now you’re the one staring as he lifts the desk and bookshelf effortlessly.
“What’s that scent? It makes me feel a bit nostalgic and I love it, let me light it.” You hand him the forest green candle poured in a black ceramic vase and he immediately smells it, going to the kitchen and grabbing a match.
“It’s very common for this season, pine and wood.” You shrug like it’s nothing special but it truly reminds you of his grounded, calm and warm personality. He puts it down at the center of the coffee table.
“Come here.” He opens his arms for a hug that he knows you can’t refuse because you have admitted to him before that he gives the best ones. He wraps his arms around you, placing his hands on your lower back, your head pressed to his chest and your arms on his upper back, hands on his shoulders. He sways you side to side like you are waltz dancing to the slow beat and if you could you would stay there forever.

Yeah so I am understanding why The Stepford Wives (1975) is considered a cult classic. What a brilliant and perfect and deeply upsetting movie. It all unfolds so slowly and gradually and lets you sit with the characters and the town, but all the while it sprinkles in details and commentary. All the costuming and set design choices are perfect. Katharine Ross is perfect. Paula Prentiss is perfect. Even though the film hasn't said anything that I don't already know (re: the violence of forcing women to be housewives) it hits harder because of how it places you in Joanna's shoes and showcases how much of an intelligent, independent person she is before she's Stepfordized. Actual perfect movie.

my number one tip for broke people who r bored is 2 go into department stores and review items like ur an expert. go and look at things. analyze them. pretend like its an art gallery where u cant buy anything. if u do buy anything make sure its like. a lil beverage to give u energy. perusing a regular store like its a thrift store where u need to view everything never gets old. i love looking at ugly ass silverware and horribly designed food packaging and memorize clothing so u can spot it while people watching. you can loiter in stores and they are air conditioned. actually unstoppable. as long as ur not too loud they arent even going to kick you out. love to go look at ugly ass plates and napkins and gift bags and detergent smells.
stores are basically a living art installation, where you get to see what companies think is the most appealing and so to look at it and turn up ur nose always feels very fun.
also like there are hella department stores in suburbia hell. infinite entertainment. going to ross and looking at their toy department. going to home goods and searching their fake plants. going to target and judging their shoes. its always fun.

Im Sol
Biographical information
Full Name: Im Sol
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Status: Deceased
Age: 68 (season 3)
Birth: 1948
Race: Human
Cause of Death: Strangled
Nationality: Korean
Origin: Busan, South Korea
Residence: Busan, South Korea
Profession(s): Bus Driver
Past profession(s): Firefighter
Profile
Height: 5'6" Age: 68 (season 3) Weight: 173lbs Eyes: brown Blood: A+
Hailing from Busan, South Korea, Sol was in his mid-sixties and had fair wrinkled skin, a receding head of white hair, and dark brown eyes behind a set of simple wire-framed glasses. He died wearing his South Korean bus driver's uniform: a blue dress shirt, black pants and comfortable shoes.
Synopsis
Sol was the victim in Explosive Secrets. He was killed following a minor bus crash while chauffeuring Esther Clayton and her class around Busan. He was strangled to death to keep quiet about his killer stealing medication for those who couldn't afford it.
When he was still alive, Sol was far from a model citizen. For starters, he was sending his coworker Mun Nari lewd text messages and pictures. Then, he was caught drinking on the job, and Minerva Ross filed a complaint against him for endangering her student. He was also inappropriate with Eliza Clayton. He tried touching the woman and kept making unwanted advances until Esther attacked him with her backpack.
As for his past, Sol used to be a firefighter and responded to the Geulimja Explosion. He had saved Angela Douglas from the rubble but couldn't free the girl's parents. Angela's mother and father died in the wreckage, and she blamed Sol for their deaths. The tragedy led Sol to give up his career as a firefighter and become a bus driver. He also took up drinking to cope with the night terrors he would get and his depression.
But the reason Sol died was because he found out Song Haneul was stealing medication and giving it to a free clinic that couldn't afford certain drugs. Sol wanted a piece of the profits and didn't believe it when Haneul told him he wasn't taking any payment. He vowed to expose the paramedic's crime if he didn't receive any money.
So to save himself and keep providing the clinic with medication, Haneul killed Sol. He thought that maybe he could make it look like a delayed heart attack brought on because of the crash, but Sol fought back, and Haneul ended up strangling him. He left Sol's body at the crash site and fled before anyone saw him.

Perché cambiare piani all’ultimo minuto?
The Red Shoes
Tumblr media

They ask you to act as their partner | Dysfunctional Quartet HC | Post TFATWS
Pairings: Sam Wilson x Vigilante!reader (platonic/flirtatious), Bucky Barnes x Vigilante!reader (platonic/flirtatious), Helmut Zemo x Vigilante!reader (platonic/flirtatious)
Link to series Masterlist
Tumblr media
The only way Bucky would ask you to act as his romantic partner would be if his life absolutely depended on it. Okay that’s being a little dramatic, but it would more than likely be when Bucky runs into an old flame in public and you happen to be with him. He’d see the woman he went out with for a bit before things ended crossing the street and wouldn’t even give you time to register before he’s pulling you into him and whisper-shouting, “Act like were together!”
Deception is your middle name, so you can play the part well, but Bucky should’ve known you’d give him a hard time. Or play your part a little too seriously. You’re feeling up his chest, batting your eyelashes, giving googly eyes, making snide comments which overall was not only making the girl uncomfortable but Bucky as well.
When it’s all said and over he gives a rough sigh, “Remind me to never ask you to do that again.” You only laugh and lean up into him which makes him shove you away as you reply, “Damn Sarge, I knew our romance would be short lived but you don’t have to break my heart while you’re at it.”
Tumblr media
Sam came to you on the premise that he needed a plus one to an event. He didn’t necessarily ask you act like you’re his partner, but the implication was there. Of course, you are someone who doesn’t go short handed and asked what was in it for you. “Look boss man, I’ll be your boo thang for the night in front of all these rich white men in suits who I’d rather steal from, but you’ll owe me something in return.”
At the event you remained on your best behavior, even chatting up the people in attendance while keeping a low profile so they didn’t identify you. Not to mention, you didn’t pass up the chance to fluster Americas Captain by praising him every chance you got. Sam was rather impressed and grateful so he vowed to follow through on his promise to you of returning the favor.
“Thanks, Y/n, I really appreciate you coming out tonight. I’ll do whatever favor you need in the future—but don’t make me regret it.”
Tumblr media
So Zemo needing you to be his pretend eye candy came more so at the request of the whole team. It was a mission involving a mee up with one of Zemos former associates and between the three of you, Zemo liked you the most. If anyone was going to play their role to an Oscar worthy performance, it was going to be you.
“Ooo Baron sugar daddy believes in little ole me to get the job done,” you said with glee, “I feel so special. Does this mean I get to play dress up?” And dress up you did indeed. Zemo managed to smuggle in designer clothes for with the excuse to agent Ross that, ‘If they is to be my romantic partner in this meeting then they need to dress like what someone would envision my partner to be.’
Hey you didn’t complain once the Versace suit/dress/pantsuit adorned your body along with fine jewelry and shoes. When the mission was over, the two of you shared a drink and toasted to making it out alive.

When you hit the big 5-0, one celebration just doesn’t feel enough. Indeed, that’s the mentality that the team over at
Timberland
seem to have adopted, opting for a whole year’s worth of festivities around the 50th anniversary of its iconic 6-inch boot! Rather than parties, though, the global brand will be toasting its flagship footwear by way of a series of collaborations with a coterie of boundary-pushing creatives, spanning disciplines of art,
fashion
and design.
The news was announced today at Timberland’s campus in the heart of New Hampshire’s expansive – you guessed it – timberlands. Here, the brand unveiled Future73, a year-long initiative that sees six creatives put their distinct spin on the brand’s signature shoe:
Edison Chen
, Canadian-born Hong Kong actor-turned-creator and founder of streetwear and lifestyle brand
CLOT
;
Samuel Ross
, British designer and founder of
A-COLD-WALL*
;
Suzanne Oude Hengel
, Netherlands-based knit researcher and footwear innovator and founder of Knit In Motion;
Nina Chanel Abney
, Chicago-born, New York-based contemporary painter and artist;
Humberto Leon
, Los Angeles-based designer, retailer, creative director, restaurateur and co-founder of
Opening Ceremony
; and
Christopher Raeburn
, British designer and founder of his own responsible fashion label,
RAEBURN
.Working closely alongside Timberland’s design team, each was invited to reimagine the boot, drawing on the pioneering elements that have assured its icon status over the past half-century, and using their directional aesthetic sensibilities to propel it into the future. From Suzanne Oude Hengel’s incorporation of innovative knit techniques to Humberto Leon’s exaggerated chunky rubber soles and Christopher Raeburn’s wholly recyclable iteration, each proposes an irreverent, unexpected perspective on a boot that so many already know and love. ADVERTISEMENT
Samuel Ross' Future73 capsule
“From a cultural and historic standpoint, Timberland has always stood for craft, tension and durability,” mused Samuel Ross in a panel unpacking his Future73 capsule, which fused his yen for one-of-a-kind luxury sportswear with the American brand’s honed production capacities. “A-COLD-WALL tackles similar topics – we’ve always been interested in tensions, and the idea of recontextualising modern masculinity, which Timberland is an integral part of. That was a natural starting point, and from there, it was about trying not to repeat what Timberland had already produced – looking at how we could distort an icon, while also allowing it space to breathe.”It doesn’t all stop at the boot, though. In addition to the footwear offering, each Future73 designer has also created an accompanying clothing capsule – allowing for the holistic articulation of their respective creative visions – andthey’ve each created a second future-minded footwear design based on a Timberland silhouette of their choosing. “What an honour it has been to work alongside these amazing creative minds,” said Drieke Leenknegt, Chief Marketing Officer for Timberland. “Each has taken the Timberland Premium 6-inch boot and transformed it through the lens of their own bold innovation and design ethos, giving us a view of what the icon of the future might look like. It’s our legacy, with their vision, and together we’re forging new frontiers of boot culture.”
Needless to say, it’s all pretty damn exciting stuff, and the question that’s no doubt on your minds is: Where can I get my hands on it? Well, rather than spoil you by releasing all of these treats in one go, Timberland will be drip-feeding the Future73 releases between March and October of this year, with each capsule drop launched with a workshop-style event with the designers. The goodies themselves will then be available for purchase through Timberland, as well as through some of the most influential fashion and streetwear retailers worldwide. On your marks…
50 years ago, Timberland introduced its iconic “yellow boot,” officially known as the 6-Inch Boot these days. Though the company began as the Abington Shoe Company in 1952, the brand as we know it today was birthed in 1973 — the 6-Inch Boot was originally titled the “Timberland,” and it was so popular that the Abington Shoe Company decided to rename itself Timberland after its most popular product. Fast-forward a half-decade, and Timberland is a purveyor of some of the most iconic boots in the world of street culture today: besides the 6-Inch Boot, there’s the “40 Below” Boot, the Euro Hiker, the Field Boot and many more.
So how are they celebrating 50 years? By inviting a half-dozen world-class creatives to push their most iconic products in a fresh direction as part of a new Future 73 initiative. Timberland has tapped CLOT founder Edison Chen, A-COLD-WALL*founder Samuel Ross, fine artist Nina Chanel Abney, Opening Ceremony founder Humberto Leon, textile designer Suzanne Oude Hengel and designer/sustainability advocate/longtime partner Christopher Raeburn to give some of their most iconic styles a fresh spin, all of which were on display at the Future73 kickoff event at Timberland’s headquarters in Stratham, New Hampshire.
Timberland
Chen’s collaboration continues CLOT’s long-running mission of bridging Eastern and Western cultures with ancient Chinese script, tiger-inspired details and more across fully circular footwear and eco-friendly apparel. Samuel Ross’ creations show his knack for refined minimalism, adding by reducing. Nina Chanel Abney’s unique perspective on fine art and easygoing nature are on display across her footwear and apparel offerings. “I’m a footwear designer now!” she exclaimed with a laugh when discussing the parallels between her art practice and her steps into the footwear world.
Leon’s footwear designs play with proportion, exaggerating the most notable elements of the 6-Inch boot, while his apparel offers a unique take on modular function. Hengel’s knit creations offer beautiful tone and texture, exploring how far the scope of Timberland’s products can be expanded by completely changing their materials. And Raeburn continues his experimentation with found materials, noting that his designs drew from unique technical fabrics he found at a military surplus store and that he tried to imagine what the next 50 years would look like for Timberland while creating his products as well.
“Legacy is so important when you have an actual connection with a product,” Samuel Ross told Hypebeast at the Future73 launch event. “You feel like there’s even more responsibility there when you grew up loving something and you get a chance to create your own take on it.” Ross wasn’t the only designer to mention his personal connection to — and excitement around — working on Timberland’s icons. “This was a bucket list project for me,” said Nina Chanel Abney. “Coming in with a fresh perspective and reworking something as iconic as the 6-Inch Classic is a rare thing.”
“How do we take a piece of pop culture iconography and push it into the future?” – Humberto Leon
The Future73 collective’s footwear and apparel designs will roll out over the course of 2023, with exact release dates and further info to be announced in the coming weeks. It’s an undeniably massive project, one that’s equal parts past, present and future, and the partners were all on board with the task at hand. “How do we take a piece of pop culture iconography and push it into the future?” Humberto Leon said, recalling his design ethos when working on his collaboration. “I’ve been working with Timberland for almost 15 years, and there’s still so much to explore.”
And exploring is exactly what this initiative is about.

If you take whump. Jamie getting hurt on set? Love your writing and happy to see these two on my dash!
Thank you!!! That means a lot!
The boiler room set is dark, even with lights on. There are wires everywhere, the air is smokey, and he's already tripped twice on the damn stairs that they've been running up the past five takes. Millie's been a great sport about it all, hasn't laughed at his clumsiness even though her bright eyes allude to her wanting to. Jamie wants to make a joke about it all, but his headspace needs to stay as dark as the room, he doesn't want to break the intense ache of want that's stirred in his chest as he becomes Peter, ready to massacre an entire laboratory full of people.
The tenth take starts smoothly, they pick up with him crouched, looking up at the girl, giving a tight lipped smile.
"Thank you," he keeps his voice soft and high, the thick American accent rolling off his tongue easily.
Millie nods, wipes the fake blood from her nose, and then the ensemble of guards come bursting through the doors, making them both jump with anticipation.
"Stop!
"Run!"
"Freeze!"
Jamie grabs Millie's hand and they take off, going down the trail designed for them, only breaking their hold on each other when they reach the stairs. The mans thoughts consist of 'run forward' and 'have to escape', his steps and actions coming second nature to him. He enjoys this kind of work, where he gets to lose himself in a character rather than remember what he's supposed to do next.
The second to last step; the same one as the previous times, catches the tip of his shoe. Instead of the small fumble the past trips have been; more embarrassing than anything with his hand hands able to catch his fall, this time there's enough momentum from his running that he doesn't have time to catch himself, doesn't have time to do anything but watch the ground get closer.
The actors skull smacks into the top metal stair, a sickening crack ringing out through all the commotion as other people freeze, as Millie stumbles into the blonde's now prone form, unable to stop herself quickly enough. Crew members are instantly jogging over. Both Ross and Matt run from either side of the set they've been watching from.
Pain explodes throughout Jamie's head, a high pitched whine ringing in his ears as the outside world is muffled, as his vision blurs and his elbow hits the corner of the second stair awkwardly. The pain clings on even as his world greys out for a few seconds, brain somehow feeling like white noise. From one temple to the other, all throughout the back of his head and spreading upwards, a throbbing starts, syncing up with sudden nausea rolling in his stomach.
Trying to move, to sit up and get out of the awkward position he's lying in, something between a whine and a moan slips from his mouth, pain intensifying with every movement. The ringing hasn't stopped, but voices sound closer now, which makes Jamie blink his eyes open. Head angled awkwardly, right cheek still against the metal stairs, he forces himself to move again, this time getting as far as sitting up, his right hand coming up to his head, pressing against it.
"Jamie, you okay?'
"We need to get Kaycee over here."
"Everyone be quiet and back up!"
Everyone talking makes Jamie's head swim, and he drags his fingers down to his eyes, tips of them pressing into his eyelids, head aching enough he lets out a shaky breath and waits a moment before looking back to the directors. They're both crouched down, watching him carefully. Matt's eyes are traveling over him, no doubt looking for blood, and Ross is moving closer, nodding to someone behind him.
"Jamie, can you hear me? Are you alright?"
"F-Fuck," is the only thing the thirty two year old can conjure up, brain still rattling around.
"Did you hit your head?" Ross turns to look at people to the left of Jamie. "Did he hit his head?"
"I think so," Millie's voice is wobbly, her breaths coming hard.
"M'alright," Jamie forces out, sitting up slowly.
Both men reach out for him, steadying him as he leans against the staircase railing. Sitting up has him feeling vaguely dizzy, but Jamie manages to breathe through it, the ringing in his ears dissipating. The actor licks his lips and lets out a shaky breath, sliding a hand down his face.
"Hey, Kaycee's on her way to check you over, just relax alright? You hit your head?"
"Yeah...smacked the fuck out of it," his English accent is creeping back in, adrenaline suddenly leaving him. "Shit..." Jamie adds as an afterthought, hands shaking.
Kaycee, the onsite paramedic shows up half a minute later, looking worried and serious as she starts checking him over and asking him questions he only knows some answers to. Everyone but the directors head out of the doors, wanting to let Kaycee work without interruption or distraction.
