Roommates & Renovations Pt. 10 Final
Merman x F!Reader
The farmer's market isn't super packed which is nice. There are a variety of stalls and smells from spicy to fruity to woodsy. Yen holds your hand as he escorts you further into the cacophony of colors and sounds.
The first stall you both visit is filled with enchanted glass nic nacs with a small mermaid catching your eye. She swims about the air in circles, always staying in the perimeter of the mirror plate.
"Do you like it?" Yen asks as he looks over your shoulder.
You nod, "It's really well made and the colors made me think of you."
Yen smiles and kisses your neck, "It honestly looks a lot like my sister, except her hair is longer."
There was a slight tinge of pain in his voice. He misses her. Yen would bring up his father and sister the most out of his family. It wasn't till recent that you found out that she's his younger twin. She was his only friend for years and the only one who was publicly in his corner with the divorce.
"Let's get it then," you grin.
You ask the fae behind the stall if it's possible to lengthen the hair on her and she complies with a smile.
"It's rare that I ever get a request to change them so I don't mind but why?" She asks.
"It reminds my boyfriend of his sister who he hasn't seen in years," you point back to Yen and he shrugs and gives a bit of a nervous grin.
The fae woman's face scrunches and her eyes blink hard a few times.
Suddenly you recall the glamour Rodion placed on him.
"Ma'am?" you raise a brow and she shakes her head.
"Sorry about that, don't know what came over me. Give me a moment and I'll finish the hair and have her boxed up for you," she shakes her head again and smiles.
You tell Yen about her sudden reaction and the glamour kicking in. He gives you a tight then smile and nods.
Once you pay for the figure you fish out the little list Betz gave you of all the stalls.
"Where to next?" you ask Yen, handing him the piece of paper.
"I kind of want to check this one out," he points to the name of a stall that sells wooden puzzles. "I sort of have a guilty pleasure in solving puzzles, riddles, and mysteries."
That's something new.
Maybe that's what you'll do today, share with each other and learn new things.
"Any other guilty pleasures?" you ask and he gives you a wicked grin.
"Aside from you?" he laughs.
You elbow his side and he laughs harder.
"I'm being serious Yen," you try your best to hide your smile as it did land on you.
"As am I. You're an absolute pleasure to be with," his expression softens and he squeezes your hand a bit.
You look down and grumble but squeeze his hand back.
The wooden puzzle stall you arrive at is situated in the corner of the market between a soap stall and hand knitted scarves and shawls. An elderly orc and young ogre looking gent fuss over a puzzle.
"I told ya it goes on this way old man," the young orge twists the piece and it clicks into place, albeit crooked.
"And I'm telling you boy that it needs to be turned to the left and then you snap this piece onto it, that list twist will only cause wear," the orc snatches the puzzle and 'fixes' it.
You feel Yen's legs bouncing and he looks like he might explode. He wants to try his hand at the puzzle those two are fighting over.
"Why don't you help them my light, they might give you a discount for solving it," you giggle.
He looks down at you with a strange excitement, he really does love puzzles you think.
Yen walks up to the two and asks if he can give it a go. Both the orc and ogre look a bit befuddled but they surrender it to him with smug looks.
"We've been at it for the last hour. My granddad made it for me to bring here to sell but he didn't explain how to solve it like he usually does," the young ogre shrugs. "It's been an absolute fu-"
The orc glares at him and the young ogre clears his throat.
"It's been an absolute fudging headache," he sneers, but at the old orc.
Yen hadn't been listening to either, instead his hands work the wooden pieces this way and that until they start clicking together little by little. An oak piece seems to be giving him some trouble but he finally figures out where it needs to go and with a click and a twist the puzzle falls into place.
"WHAT THE ABSOLUTE HELLS!" the elderly orc shouts.
"Oh you can cuss out loud but I can't?" the young ogre grumbles.
"I don't think I've ever seen someone work one of those that fast in person," you remark, just as amazed as the orc.
"Most of the puzzles here are cubes and the pieces of this feel like they would fit that shape. I had maybe ten different puzzle cubes that I'd mess with when I was younger. I will admit the last piece really was frustrating me," he admits.
The elderly orc scrunches his nose and crosses his arms, "That thing is a nightmare. I can usually guess Novak's handy work without instruction but this damn thing is the stuff if splinters. How bout this lad, I'll let you have the thing for half off and a free small cube. How's about it?"
"Half off and two small cubes, one for each of you since neither of you could figure it out," you chime in.
The orc glares at you then gives a pouty smile and shrugs, "Fair enough lady." He then ruffles the young ogre's hair, "Be a good lad and tell your granddad that his headache was solved and sold, that'll keep him busy for a while trying to thwart us again!"
The young ogre rolls his eyes and then proceeds to help Yen pick out the most difficult to solve of the small puzzle cubes.
"Content?" you lean against him and smile.
"I'd say that I'm the happiest mer in the worlds at the moment," he smiles and leans down to kiss your forehead.
"Because of puzzles?" you laugh.
"Because my light, I'm with you... and getting puzzles only makes it a tad bit better," he nuzzles against you.
You and Yen peruse around the farmer's market a bit more, going to stalls Betz recommended and more. You notice several people blink and look strangely at Yen, the glamour kicking in every time someone might recognize him. You'll have to thank Rodion for a peaceful date when you see him again.
"I feel like if we stay any longer we might get something from every stall here," you laugh as you plop down on a bench.
Your feet had started to ache a little bit and you had smelled the wonderful call of something sweet. Cinnamon sugar sfingi and cannolis and other Italian pastries.
"Do you want to call it a day and head back home till later or do you want to go somewhere else?" he asks.
You hum and rock your head a little, "We can at least drop all this off-" lifting a bag up with your foot.
Yen takes a bite out of a sfingi and moans, "Mmm that sounds like a good idea."
You had learned that although he's not a fan of most food that's not fish or fresh vegetables and fruits, he does have a terrible sweet tooth. One bag alone was candies and pastries that he had bought for himself, and you as long as you didn't take the last one. That earned a few giggles.
He also learned a lot about you too. Your favorite flowers and colors. What scents you like and silly little things that you find oddly amusing or really annoying.
"It's cute on you by the way," he pokes at the flower crown he bought for you at one of the stalls. It's laced with three of your favorite flowers and makes you feel like a princess... no, a queen, his queen.
"And you look rather handsome with your suit... I think it suits you well," you grin as you now poke at him.
His eyes widen and his mouth curls into a surprised smile, "Was that a pun? And here I thought you said you weren't a fan of comedy."
"I'm not a fan of certain comedies but I appreciate a good pun and dad jokes, though I rarely get the chance to crack a joke since all my friends are busy," you shrug and lean back against the bench.
"Then I'll be your audience," he dips down and kisses the tip of your nose.
"Or victim. When I was younger I prided myself on earning a certain amount of frustrated groans from the amount of puns I could make in a day. You're committing to an insufferable amount of jokes by agreeing to that," your grin at him and give a chuckle.
"My light, I committed to all that and more the second we agreed to dating. There's nothing about you that can or ever will scare me away. You're stuck with me," he laughs and pulls you into a hug.
You both finish your sweet treats while Yen taps in for a ride home. The farmer's market is packed to the brim once it's time to leave. Navigating becomes difficult and you get separated a few times which causes Yen to panic a little bit though he tries to hide it. In the end he holds your hand while piling all the bags on one arm. The driver is an absolute savior, pulling up close to the entrance and with bottles of water at the ready.
She quickly opens the trunk so Yen can deposit the day's boon and free his now numb arm. The car is wonderfully cool and well stocked with cold water that Yen inhales.
The drive back home Yen leans against you and takes a bit of a power nap since he's still not used to being out of the water for so long coupled with the late summer heat.
As the driver pulls up to your house you notice a small furniture truck leaving your driveway and you nudge Yen awake.
"Did you order anything?" you ask.
He blinks a few times and stretches out his ridiculously long legs.
"Did I order...Oh yeah, no I did. It's part of tonight's surprise, so no going into my room till after we get back," he grins and dips down to kiss your forehead, then cheek, then ear. "You are my fate and queen of my heart, I want to show you what that means. Slowly and all night and into the morning. Till my name is stained on your lips and my love for you marked on your heart," he whispers so low and deep that you clench your legs together. There's a strange edge and strain to his voice that tells you he's holding back, that if given the chance he'd haul you off to his room and you wouldn't see the outside world for days.
Question now being is, why the hells does that sound so hot right now? You shiver and clutch his arms, another question on your lips but you're quickly interrupted by the driver who clears her throat. The car has stopped, and has likely been stopped for a couple minutes. Your cheeks heat up in embarrassment.
"We're just dropping the bags off inside if you don't mind waiting. We'll need another ride here shortly," Yen asks the woman and she agrees.
Yen and you make quick work of dumping the bags into the kitchen and livingroom. He ducks into his room to check on whatever was delivered and leaves it with a grin, his eyes lit with mischief.
"Where to next chief?" the driver asks, waiting for Yen to punch in the destination.
"Uhhh here, Crainn city park please," Yen asks as he punches in the destination. The driver instantly takes the order and starts backing out of the driveway.
"You two got a busy day ahead of yourselves?" she asks with a knowing smile.
"It's our first 'official date'. We've been stupidly busy so we haven't been able to really have one," you give the driver a nervous smile.
"Well just so you know, I'm an absolute sucker for romance so if you guys are going to need anymore rides today you call on me. I can be on standby to where the hells your next destination is," she offers.
You think about protesting but Yen nods, "That would be very helpful, in fact if I could bother you for one more thing I won't mind paying extra for it but uh if you could stock up more water that'd be nice. It helped me a lot when you picked us up at the farmer's market."
"He's a mer," you add.
"That makes a lot of sense as to why all twenty bottles of water are all gone now. And thank you for tossing them, I've had to clean this car out so many times because people are messy and can't throw their own trash away," she grumbles and straightens as she turns on a road that takes her to the feeder.
You three end up talking the entire drive there. The driver, Morgan, Crainn born and raised gives the both of you a run down on the city's best food stops and where in the park is considered the most "private" areas for a quick little get away. She also mentions some drama that happened there not too long ago with the cops and some doctors by one of the park's many ponds. Neither of you mention it's because of Yen.
Morgan drops you both off at a shaded part of the park that isn't too populated with foot traffic. Yen helps you out of the car, his hand somehow cool to the touch.
"Let me know when and where I need to grab you guys next. I'll get a few cases of water here in a little bit," she calls out from the window before she rolls it up and rolls out.
Yen stiffens and gives a tight smile, "Everyone here seems very friendly, almost too friendly."
"I thought you liked it though, that everyone's been nice," you ask, a bit confused by his sudden weariness.
His grip on your hand tightens a little, "I do but it just seems odd? Nearly every person we've encountered is just nice? Doesn't that just seem a bit strange to you? Am I the only one who's not just a tad freaked out by it?"
You know exactly what he's talking about now. You grew up around the fae so naturally everything came with strings attached but you also knew of the other folks that are just naturally kind and over the top neighborly. You thought the same as Yen did when you moved to Colorado and went through your acclimation program. There were a lot of orcs and werefolk there and everyone was suspiciously nice. You later learned that a lot of towns and cities with a lot of different folks tend to lean on the friendly side.
"It's normal, I swear it is. It'll take some getting used to but the kinder folk tend to have a way of infecting their niceness to the humans they live around. It weirded me out too when I moved back to this realm," you give his hand a squeeze and tug him along.
"Speaking of which," you turn to him with a reassuring smile, "what state did you live in during your acclimation program?"
"I was supposed to go to California but my paperwork got messed up somehow and I ended up in Nevada. Luckily Varen got me into a lake town so I didn't suffer too bad from the heat. I did a lot of part time work just basically sitting on my ass all day while people took pictures of me or with me. Honestly it was fun until other lake towns tried to pull me for tourism. Thankfully Don gave me a call back about this job days later so I was able to quit and move down here," he explains, his expression calming and a breathy laugh escapes his lips.
"I moved down here and a day later I met you, albeit you were pretty pissed that I was there," he chuckles.
"I'd have been less pissed off if Don had mentioned a roommate," you correct him with a fake smug grin. Yen pinches your cheek.
You both walk around the shades area of the park hand in hand talking about your acclimation programs and your lives around it. Both you and Yen had a hard time grasping the technology aspect at first but it sort of became a means to learn more about the world. He hated television at first, and said every time he had to watch it there was only news or sports recaps. It wasn't till months later that he learned about streaming services and that there are show times on TV.
"I think the first show I got really into was Friends," he admits.
"Why am I not surprised?" you chuckle. "Let me guess, was Joey your favorite character?"
Yen glares at you and rolls his eyes, "Maybe."
"Now let me guess, your's was Monica?" he raises a brow and you shake your head with a smile.
"Phoebe, actually," you chime. That earned you a wonderful laugh that had a couple people turning their heads. His laughter has always been like a deep and wondrous song that draws you in. You find yourself lucky that you can hear it everyday.
"We should probably start heading towards the stage area, Kirill said his band goes on at four," Yen checks his phone for the time and the location before pocketing it.
The concert was added to the date's agenda last minute when officer Kirill told Yen about his band. Of course he'd want to see it and of course they'd be playing on the same day of your date. You both got to listen to a few of his songs and you were pretty impressed. He did a bunch of rock versions of old big band songs and it worked.
You both get to the stage area and it's packed. Kirill had apparently saved a seating area or the both of you close to the stage in case you didn't arrive early enough. Unbeknownst to either of you his band had a bit of a large following in Crainn and the small towns surrounding it. Him and his band are playing a metal sounding version of Sing Sing Sing and people of all ages are dancing and moving to it.
"He's pretty good," Yen yells over the music. "What the hells possessed him to become a cop instead of a musician?"
Your guess is as good as his, but it probably boils down to an over saturated industry that prefers pop music.
"Ask him after the show," you suggest.
Yen just shakes his head, "We'll have to run out of here after the show. We have a dinner reservation my light."
Dinner reservation? You knew you'd be going to dinner after the concert but a reservation? To where?
Yen had insisted that he wanted to plan the date so you only knew the vague details of it. He never got to date or anything close to it so you wanted him to have a chance at planning whatever his dream date is.
The concert goes on and the crowd goes nuts when Kirill rips his shirt off and tosses it somewhere. You both laugh and joke saying he's not getting that back.
"Alright this next one is for all the couples out there," Kirill howls and looks at the both of you with a wink and terrible shit eating grin. "We don't normally do covers from the eighties but I think you guys can forgive us just this once!"
And with that the unmistakable tune of Careless Whisper is being played on the guitar and the audience barks out in a mix of laughter and cheers. Both you and Yen are in tears laughing at first but the more the band plays on the more you both start swaying to the music. Yen takes your hand and spins you into him, holding you close.
His hands hold you at your hips as you rest your head on his chest. You never got to go to prom or homecoming or any school dance living in the fae realm. Never got asked to the seasonal dances or had that magical slow dance everyone used to talk about.
This though, this made up for that and more. You feel safe with Yen, not just safe, but understood. He listens to you, respects you, and trusts you the way no one has before. You feel like you can finally be yourself again after all these years.
His arms snake up your back, one hand pressing at the back of your neck till you're looking up and into his glazed eyes. The corners are stained black and his pupils are dilated to the point you can hardly see that opal color behind them. He dips down and takes your lips against his stealing any and all air from you. His tongue opens you up and you have to hold onto his shoulders for balance.
"Mine," he moans against your lips as he picks you up.
Your nails dig into him as he deepens the kiss, his hands clutching you and your head becoming dizzy from the music and the heat. As the music dies he finds it difficult to put you down but he does and helps you straighten out your dress. You both are panting and are slightly disheveled by the time the song is over.
Yen's eyes are nearly all black but you notice how he's straining when he closes them and takes a few deep breaths.
"Should we start heading out?" you ask, trying to help by getting his mind to somewhere else.
When he opens his eyes they're nearly back to normal, "Yeah, that's probably a good idea."
Kirill howls that his band will be playing one last song, this one being for the singles out there. You sort of recognize the tune but can't place the name of the song.
You and Yen wade through the crowd, holding hands tightly so you don't get separated. He calls for Morgan to come pick you both up near the fountain right outside the stage area. She pulls up in a matter of minutes with a/c and water.
"Y'all have fun?" she asks when she turns around in her seat. She giggles as she takes the both of you in, clothes wrinkled, Yen's hair is a mess, and your make up is slightly smeared. "If y'all are going anywhere else tonight you might want to uh um-" she clears her throat and makes a gesture with her finger pointing to the mess that you both look.
You grit your teeth and lower your head as you rummage through your purse.
"I've got an emergency kit for just this reason. Red bag under the passenger seat," she laughs.
Sure enough there's a bag with combs, make up wipes, teeth whitening strips, and so on. Yen gets to work on fixing his hair while you fix your make up.
"How many dates have you saved with this kit?" you ask her, balling up the trash to toss later.
"Ha! I've honestly lost count, but it helps to pull in extra tips so I keep it. I've told the other drivers to stash a few kits but I think only a small handful really listened," Morgan tsks as she's stopped by a red light. "So where to now?"
"Pisces Rising, off of Astéria st.," Yen answers quickly.
"Y'all have reservations? No better question, you were able to get a reservation?!" she squeals.
"Is it hard to get one?" you ask.
"Basically impossible unless you make one a year in advance and pray someone cancels theirs. They only have like five tables so I've heard," she continues on and on about the restaurant and its elusive chef that no one has ever met while in there. That makes Yen chuckle a little for some reason.
Pisces Rising looks pretty normal from the outside you think as Morgan drops you both off. A doorman looks at you then Yen and nods his head before opening the door. As soon as you walk in you're hit with the smell of the ocean. The walls are a dark rust orange like you're in an old building and the lights are dim with a small stream of them lighting the area where the floor meets the wall.
A young woman greets both of you and ushers you to follow her to your seating. Yen nods and escorts you to wherever it is she plans to place you. You're led to a small room with a table large enough for four of five people.
"Tao will join us in a few minutes so for now-" the woman pauses and saunters to a cabinet and fishes a bottle of wine out. "I want to hear how you two met. I still can't believe there's another fated mate human mer pair out there aside from me and my grouch," she giggles.
It clicks suddenly, this place... the owner and chef... like you and Yen...
Yen looks down at you and winks. He'd found them and they've been so stupidly close!
As if reading your mind the woman says the same thing and you both laugh.
"So how is it with you two? Tao is a salt water merman so I know what to look for with him, what are the tell tale signs for fresh water? Any nesting behavior?" she gives you a cat-like grin and you suddenly feel Yen tense at your side.
"I told you before that that's a sensitive question," an exasperated voice groans.
You turn and see a man at least two feet taller than Yen and built like a Hollywood action star. His skin is dark tan and with even darker bands on his bare arms. His hair is ghost white with a couple of black strands and sits at shoulder length. His yellow eyes seem to quickly go to you then Yen, sizing him up silently and then nodding.
"So you're a freshwater?" he asks as he slides over to the young woman, taking the wine from her hands and setting it on the table.
Yen gives him a short answer and for some reason he holds you just a little bit tighter to him. Tao does the same thing to the woman. You and her look at each other and groan in solidarity.
"Come on you grouch, we invited them so we could find out more about their experience with this. Stop glaring at him like you want to fight him. This is why we can't have you around guests, you just want to fucking fight everyone," she pinches him and he grumbles something.
You look up at Yen and he looks away and clears his throat, "I was surprised when I heard you two were close to Lochshire. My surface agent thought you'd be a lot harder to find."
"Tao and I thought the same thing when Mr. Varen reached out to us. We had no idea there was anyone else like us out there. It's nice to not be alone in this," she smiles and leans against Tao, making the big guy relax a bit.
"It is nice," you agree.
She quickly ushers the both of you to sit down while her and Tao grab some glasses. You watch as she swats at him but gives him the most loving smile. His eyes are all over her and every time he touches her his fingers linger just a little bit longer.
They set the glasses on the table and Tao whispers something to her and leaves the room. She says he'll be back with tapas as she pours a white wine.
"Sorry about the uh nest question earlier, now I know it's a sensitive subject to all mermen," she passes you both a glass and sips on her own. "Tao did not want me to leave home during the whole ordeal like, alright already we've lived together for how long and it's now a big issue! I mean I've accepted the mating thing but the nesting had me wanting to bang my head against the wall."
You raise your brow and look to Yen,"So what am I in for if I ever agree to mate?"
He grits his teeth and looks down at his glass, "I uh... I really don't know."
"And we never do till it happens," Tao chimes in as he walks back in the room with four large trays balanced on his hands and arms.
"Nesting behavior is always unpredictable. Some can get clingy, some can get overly protective, some get territorial, and some become all three. It really depends on a lot of little things," he explains.
"And you my grouch became all three the second I agreed to mate," she rolls her eyes. "Thank the gods your nesting lasted only a couple weeks. I would have died of sheer boredom if it lasted up to the max."
"What's the max?" you nervously ask.
"Two months," she shrugs.
You nearly choke on the wine....Two whole months???
"Freshwater nesting usually is a max of three weeks," Yen adds, his hand finding yours under the table, smoothing lines against your palm. It helps calm your stressed heart.
"Hmm well there's one difference. So how is it that you two knew or better yet, Yen how did you know?" she asks.
"In The Lakes we glow for our fated mates," he looks away, almost as if it's embarrassing for him to talk about.
"I see, saltwater mermen kind of do that. They have a pattern that you normally can't see but whenever they're around their fated mate it lights up! I remember the first time it happened, he looked like someone slapped him in the face with a salmon," she chuckles. "When I found out what it meant I nearly died laughing."
"It wasn't that funny," Tao grumbles, setting the last plate down. He'd been piling the tapas on the table as everyone's been talking.
"It was because you hated me back then?" she snaps.
You and Yen look at each other like you're ready to buckle in for this drama.
"I didn't hate you, I just hated that you always showed up without warning. That beach was crawling with creeps and sharks. You had a tendency to attract both somehow! It made my job back then very difficult," he groans as he plops down next to her.
She leans against him and she pokes his arm, "Aww you were just worried about me huh?"
"So what is it that you used to do before this?" you ask, hoping to move the subject along.
"I was a life guard in California while finishing up my acclimation program. This one-" he pauses and looks down at the young woman "had a bad habit of always being in the water when sharks were around or being on her own when the sleaze bags were on my beach. I've lost count of how many I've had to beat up for her."
"Shark or sleaze bag?" you jokingly ask.
"Both," Tao shrugs. "At some point I think she kept doing it to get my attention."
She looks at you and mouths 'I so did'
You giggle.
"Then one day I came to the beach early in the morning after having a fight with my grandmother. It was windy as hell and then it started raining like crazy. I was so pissed that I didn't care. I kept stomping down the beach. Then out of nowhere I get hit by something hard and pass out. Next thing I know I'm in the ocean but someone's swimming me back to the shore. I didn't know it was Tao till we hit the beach and he gave me the longest loudest lecture of my life until I started crying," she lets out a sigh and her shoulders sink a bit.
"I had thought she got drunk and passed out on the beach. It happens a lot out there. She was crying a lot but she was also bleeding too. I was lucky I got to her before a shark did with how beat up she was. I took her to my house at the time and it wasn't till I started patching her up that I realized I didn't smell alcohol on her. She was sober," Tao inhales sharply and reaches around the woman and pulls her closer to him.
"Long story short, we were inseparable after that. He let me come visit him as much as I wanted to. I started cooking at his place and well one thing led to another and well here we are," she chuckles.
"You became her safe place?" you look at Tao and he looks down at her with so much love.
"He became all that and more," she answers and he leans down and kisses her forehead.
"What about you two?" Tao asks.
"It's uh complicated," you start. "How much did Varen tell you about Yen?"
"Nothing at all really, why do you ask?" she raises a brow.
You look at Yen and before you can ask he nods his head, "It's fine my light. My face has been plastered all over the news lately if it wasn't for this glamour we wouldn't have a peaceful day."
Tao and the young woman look at him with concern but it quickly turns to confusion.
"Yen was the king of The Lakes," you continue and start on his story.
Tao looks dumb struck the more and more you talk about Yen and his face twists with anger when you tell him about the storm the Queen sent. When you tell them about the RMI they both look like they want to punch something.
"And so that's what the trial's all about. Yen and I will finally have some peace of mind," you look back at him and smile.
"And I can finally court her like she deserves," he leans over and smooches your cheek.
The four of you talk about the difficulties of mer and human relationships, sharing tips and issues. Tao and Yen end up somehow shit talking about Varen while you and the young woman talk about work and the city. Before either of you know it hours have passed and you both miss the movie. Yen isn't too upset but he feels bad keeping Morgan waiting.
The young woman packs up some desserts and tapas for later but you and Yen silently agree to give them to Morgan.
"Here's my number, call anytime you want to meet up so we can bitch about our merguys together. Oh and one more question," she gets right up close to you and asks very quietly "Is he double dicken down there too?"
You nod your head while trying not to laugh but it's hard. You instantly think that you and her will become good friends.
"And if ever you need help with construction or renovations you can contact us. We're currently working in Lochshire on the town's clean up and renovations. We're hoping to be done within the next four months," you fish out a card and hand it to her.
"I know you said you work in renovating and reconstruction but I had no idea you took on big projects like this," she waves the card and bobs her head "Let me know when you're done, I think I might have several projects I'll need from you."
You agree and walk over to Yen who has been talking to Tao about Kirill's band. Apparently both of them are friends with the orc and fans of his music. Tao groans with disappointment when you tell him that he missed Kirill playing a cover of Careless Whisper.
"Well that was fun," you giggle as you both exit the restaurant.
"It was, wasn't it. I was a bit nervous to be honest, I've never met a saltwater mer, I thought he was going to try and start something," Yen sighs and leans against a lamp.
"I thought he was too. Oh there's Morgan," you wave as her car pulls up.
Yen gets the door for you and you slide right in, "Sorry we were so long we sort of ended up meeting the elusive chef."
"Shut up!" Morgan screeches as she turns around to face you. "What was he like?"
Both you and Yen look at each other and say, "He's a grouch."
"Oh and here's a little something for you," you pass the bag with desserts and tapas in it to Morgan.
"Really? For me? You guys are gonna make me cry," she sniffles and uses the tips of her fingers to wipe away any tears that would ruin her shard eyeliner. "With how late it is I'm guessing I need to get you two home?"
"Yes please," Yen responds, punching in the address on the app.
The drive home is quiet and it becomes your turn to nap. You lean against him and slowly drift off to sleep as you smell the fresh cologne and his sweet summer magic. You have a short and wonderful dream of seeing Lochshire clean and bustling with tourism again. There's a wedding taking place on the lake shore and before you can see the bride and groom you wake up.
"My light, we're home," Yen coos as she gently kisses you awake.
You mumble and groan and he laughs as he scootches you onto his lap. You don't know how he manages to but he picks you and your purse up out of the car as he gets out. He says his goodbyes to Morgan as she leaves and then you hear the struggle of a key against the lock before the door opens.
"Let's get you to bed my light," he kisses your cheek.
"No, I still want to see that surprise," you protest. "I just need some coffee is all."
"We can do that another time, you're tired and I'm dehydrated," he opens the door to your room and carefully sets you on the bed. You feel his hands move to undress you and with sheer stubbornness you push them away.
"If I can't see my surprise you can't see yours," you close your legs tight and cross your arms.
At first you think Yen's going to back away but instead he crawls onto the bed and hovers over you. His eyes turn all black as he leans down and nips your ear.
"Will a cup of coffee really keep you up all night my light? Remember I said I plan on having you all night and into the morning. I plan on taking you slowly, from my room to the tank. Tell me the truth my light, will you be able to stay up throughout it all?" his voice is rain and thunder against your ear and you feel your voice catch, the answer lodged in your throat.
Yen sits up, straddling you as he waits for you to say something. So you smile.
"Put a little bit of magic in my coffee and see how long I can stay awake," you grin.
That has him laughing, "Whatever my queen wishes."
Yen picks you back up and hauls you to the kitchen where he sets you down on the counter next to the coffee pot. He enchants it with something that makes the coffee smell even more tantalizing than usual. As the pot does what it needs to, Yen decides to start undressing you again. Your heels are the first thing to go, getting tossed under the kitchen table. His hands slide up and under your dress, your hips rocking side to side to get the fabric out from under you.
You enjoy the low moan he makes when he pulls your dress over your head so he can see the little number you've been wearing all day. His body glows a dark red as he drinks in the sight of you. His hands roam up and down your exposed flesh, squeezing your thighs and scraping your soft skin gently with his claws.
You want to grab him by his shirt collar so bad and kiss him but the thought is interrupted by the beeping of the coffee pot. Yen tears away from you making you groan. He chuckles darkly as he fixes your coffee.
"Drink up my light and savor any peace being in here might bring because once I take you to my room you won't have a moment's rest till morning," he grins as he hands you the mug.
You drink the coffee down as he drinks glass after glass of water, preparing for whatever surprise he has in this room. You notice as you sip on the brew that he's watching you between his waters. You confirm that to be an absolute fact because when you go to set it down the mug barely hits the counter as Yen scoops you up into his arms and hauls you over his shoulder.
You feel nervous and excited, not quite sure what to expect as you hear the door open. The lights are off when he deposits you onto a chair? It's pretty comfortable and the seat is wide but you can't really see it, not until Yen turns on the low lights.
Suddenly the room is lit up by a blue dim light and you realize that you're sitting on a throne. His room is completely different now. The throne you're sitting on is right up against the window which is now blacked out. The room is only lit with low lights and the walls are dark.
"I've waited all day for this my light, my queen," Yen kneels before you, loosening his tie till he could easily slip it over his head. "Give me a safe word."
Your mouth went dry with that last statement, a safe word... Does he even know what that's for???
"I've done some research my light, I assure you I know what I'm talking about. I just want to try what I've learned with you, see what works for us. I want to learn what gives you pleasure, what I should do more of and what to avoid. Let me learn your body till I know it better than my own," he asks, his voice a plea.
"Ok...then...uh Paint thinner?" you shrug.
Yen chuckles and shakes his head, "Whatever works for you my queen, but it seems your mind is still too close to work. Let me fix that," Yen grabs your legs and tosses them over his shoulders as he pulls you up to him. He nibbles and kisses the flesh around your panties, quickly working you into a mess begging for him mouth to be closer.
"Queens don't beg my light, they take what they want," he kisses your thigh. "Command me to fuck you and I will. Command me to eat your sweet fucking pussy and I will. Command me to do anything tonight and I will."
The thought of doing anything like that sounds too much, but he's giving this to you freely. Willing you to take the lead like you prefer to but hardly ever had in the bedroom. Yen has always prioritized your pleasure, your release and now he's handing his own over to you. You're in charge tonight.
"Take... take off my panties-" you pause and think of something else, something to do with that tie... no not yet. "Take off my panties and then lie down... I have somewhere else I'd rather sit."
Just saying it felt off, it wasn't like you, but it felt good too.
Yen immediately gets to work tugging your panties off and lying down on the ground. Your pussy is so wet when you stand up that the cold air in the room only makes it worse. You sit down next to Yen and watch as his breath catches when you straddle him. His hands move up and down your legs, lightly pressing you to move forward. You slowly inch up towards his face, the thought of actually doing this makes you tense.
You barely have a second to think once you're close enough. He tugs you forward and down onto his mouth making you gasp and moan loudly as his cold tongue ravishes you at your folds.
"Slower Yen," you grind against his face and his licking slows down. For a few short moments all you hear is your panting and Yen's tongue sliding between your pussy. It sounds as hot as it feels. But it's not enough.
"A bit faster," you moan, hips bucking as he answers your demand. He groans against you, claws digging into your skin as he licks faster and harder. You gasp when his tongue circles your clit, the cool contrast it against your hot flesh has you screaming.
But it's not enough.
"Yen..." you moan trying to get the words out. "Throne, pants off. I want to ride you."
He gives you a few more licks before moving you off his face, lips and chin glistening with your wetness. He moves to stand, tearing at his belt and pulling down his pants and boxers. Yen kneels down and quickly scoops you up as he takes you back to the throne. He sits you down on top of him, your legs on either side of his, his cocks hard and dripping in precum.
You take the lower cock and start rubbing your entrance with it. The hard ridges at the tip making your shiver as they glide against your clit. Yen hisses sharply when you start to slowly sink down on him, his head falling back. You grind against him slowly as you unbutton his vest and then his shirt, pushing both back till they crumple at his wrists.
"Fuck," he grits as you run your hands up and down his chest as you start to move.
Your legs start to tremble as you begin to ride him in ernest. He strains against the clothes holding his hands in place and writhes as you move.
"My light, please..." he starts to beg "I need to touch you, I need feel you."
"No- not yet... I want to touch you more," you scrape your fingers down his chest and he arches his back, a low dark growl rumbling from his throat. His chest glows a deep dark red, it pulsates in time to you grinding against him. The air suddenly becomes thick and damp as if a a heavy fog is passing through the room.
Yen starts meeting your pace thrust for thrust, his hips snapping up as he struggles to free himself from his clothes. The heat and the maddening movements has you tightening and clenching around his cock desperate for release.
You lean forward and grip his shoulders as you slide off of him. Yen groans and gasps as he frees one arm but he's not fast enough to do whatever it was he wanted. You take both cocks and guide them into , plopping down hard and moaning his name.
His other arm shakes the clothes loose finally and his hands slide down your hips to cup your ass as it slowly rises up and back down on him.
You shudder and rock your hips, the feeling of his ridges hitting you just right nearly has you coming but it's not enough.
"Permission to fuck you elsewhere my queen?" Yen asks, claws circling back up to your hips.
You steady yourself and lean against him, "Permission granted."
Yen shoots up and you wrap your legs around him as he wades through the water that somehow got in the room. He lays you down in the shallow water, warm and smelling of his magic.
His body starts slowly taking on a similar aquatic look, fins lining his arms and legs, scales on his chest and hips, and a smooth texture on his once soft skin. You feel his hands shaking as he holds you to him, his cocks sliding between you.
"I want to make love to you as I would if we were mated. I want to sink myself into you and never leave. To be one with you all night..." his voice is strained and his eyes close as bends down and kisses you.
"All night and into the morning. Give me everything you've been holding back," you grind your hips against his cocks and a flood of magic unleashes in the room.
Water splashes around you as Yen's lips meet yours. Your hands are all over him as he kisses and bites a trail of hot magic down to your breasts. His tongue flicks one of your nipples and you buck your hips, needing to feel the fullness again. You were so close...
"Yen...you're cocks I-" you squeal when he sucks at the tender flesh of your neck.
"I know my queen, I know. Let me worship your body just a little bit more. I promise it'll make everything I do feel so much better," he bites down on your neck then, his cocks pushing against your folds.
You cry out, digging your nails into his shoulders as he fills you with his magic. It's much more intense than it was on the dock and it makes you more desperate to be filled. You start rocking your hips needing to feel those ridges against your clit again.
Yen hisses and holds you still. His lips slowly move up your neck and to yours, slowly opening you with his tongue. He starts moving his cocks against you earning several moans between kisses from both of you. You buck your hips when he bites your lips and one of his cocks slips inside you.
"Fuck," he grinds out "I really want to take this slow with you but I don't think-"
"We have all night to try and go slow. I need you right now, I can't wait anymore," you buck your hips a few more times.
Yen sits up until he's on his knees, one hand holding you by your hip and the other holding his cocks. His dark eyes look into yours as he slowly slides in, straining to stay open as you take him all in. The ridges hit you differently at this angle and you feel your back arching out of the water.
He starts to move slowly, pulling you closer to him by your hips. The water splashes and waves with every thrust and cold droplets rain down on your skin ever so often causing you to tighten more and more. He shifts your hips mid thrust, turning you on your side and pulling one leg up against his chest. He drives deeper and deeper into you, the ridges of his cocks hitting you just right.
You start grinding against him as he keeps thrusting, needing more. As if knowing what you want, Yen moves a hand over your clit and starts to slowly circle the sensitive bundle of nerves. You cry out as you start feeling closer than ever.
His claws start digging into the skin of your leg, his eyes screwing shut and the glowing light pulsates. It takes a moment for you to feel it but there's a tug on your mind, he's reading your emotions, feeling what you feel. No fair.
He must have felt your annoyance because he gives you a devious smile and thrusts hard into. "You feel too fucking good my light, I never want this to end."
You groan and grind against him the best you can.
"But all good things must come to an end huh," he chuckles and sets your leg back down before sliding out of you.
Before you're able to moan your protest he flips you over and pulls you up till you're on your knees and ass up. You cry out when he thrusts back in, his cocks hitting you right where you need them too. It feels so good that you start shaking and whimpering.
"You're so beautiful my light, so fucking beautiful and smart and kind. You deserve so much, you deserve to feel good. Do you feel good? Am I making you feel good," he thrusts hard and stills inside you, his hands shaking.
You take a few deep breaths, turn and nod, "Yes, you make me feel good Yen... my light. Do I make you feel good?"
"All that and more my light, my queen. I love you," his claws dig into your hips and before he starts to move again you open your mouth and he stops.
"I love you too Yen," the words slip out naturally and with every intention of being said.
Suddenly you're being hauled up against his chest, your back to him and his hands holding you by your waist and neck. You feel him breathing heavily, his body shuddering. "You love me?"
You turn to face him and kiss him gently, "All that and more."
He holds you, savoring your lips on his but the tender moment doesn't last long. His hips buck up and you gasp at the sudden movement. You have to shift yourself to keep you, snaking an arm around his neck and holding onto his hair for dear life as he starts bouncing you on his cocks.
His claws scrap at the skin on your neck as he slams you down on him, your voice straining as you cry out his name. The water around you splashes higher and higher and then you feel it crawling up your legs. You squeal when it slides right over your clit, cool and moving in circles.
You feel yourself tighten and you have to grab onto him with all your might as you come. You're shaking and breathing so hard that you can't speak. He keeps thrusting into you, holding you closer, claws breaking skin until he stills. His voice echoes throughout the room as he releases inside you.
He holds you in his arms as you both come down, breathing together, touching slowly and tenderly once more. It was so much, too much and everything all at once.
"I love you so much my light," he whispers against your lips.
"I love you too, my Yen, my king," you kiss him and you feel him smile against your lips.
He chuckles a little bit and you don't know why but you do as well, "So do I have to worry about any water damage?"
"I thought ahead of that my light. Now stop thinking about work stuff," he nips your lip.
"Mmm make me," you smile.
And he does. You stop thinking about anything when he takes you on the throne again. You stop thinking all together when he eats you out at the edge of the hatch. You stop being just you when he takes you in the lake, neither of you wanting to separate despite your need for air.
You both finally tire just shy of dawn. He scoops you up and walks you back to the house, both of you naked and spent. It takes everything you have to shower off before heading to bed and you know Yen feels the same. His eyes are bloodshot from being black all night but he looks so happy.
The shower is short and neither of you have much to say, too tired to form any real words. But you still wanted to touch, to get something across after the night you had. Yen brushes his hand to your cheek as he kneels down in front of you and takes your hand. He kisses your palm and moves it till you touch his chest, right over his heart.
You can't help but to tear up. As tired as you are you still manage to throw yourself into his arms and hold him as tightly as you can.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You remember him just holding you till you started nodding off. You remember him laying you in bed and kissing you silly till you passed out finally. You remember waking up so much later in the day that it was way past lunch and close to dinner. You remember reading the wonderful text from Varen that the trial was over and the Queen and her family will be exiled.
It was a great day that turned into an even better week. Construction teams were rolling in to make the dreams of Lochshire become a reality. Business owners were excited that they kept blowing up your phone left and right.
Yen's work on the lake was made easier thanks to Varen who somehow managed to get the Alliance's legal team to send more help as part of his compensation.
Within a few months the town was fully renovated and reconstructed. Businesses started planning for spring break and summer with the motels and local air bnb hot spots already getting reservations from the people in Crainn.
Don was pleased with your work as Mr. Seth had paid everyone handsomely and wanted you and Yen on new projects immediately. But you both turned him down as well as resigning. After all you both had endless job offers in Lochshire and Crainn for smaller and more personal projects.
You and Yen open an office in town right before spring break hits. Tao and his wife are your first clients, wanting their new home renovated for a large tank for Tao and a huge open kitchen outside.
When summer rolls around the both of you take a couple weeks off to enjoy all the hard work you put into Lochshire. You visit all the shops, all packed and busy. To your surprise Mr. Seth contacts the both of you to join him for lunch one day.
"There's an old house here I want renovated. It'll be a summer home. Don't worry about the interior, I have someone for that. I just need it to be cleaned up, shelled out and prepared. Consider it an open canvas project for my designer," he requests.
"Got it. Just send me the address when you get a chance. Anything else?" you ask him.
He smiles and looks over at Yen then back to you, "A congratulations to you two I suppose. Quitting your job and starting your own business isn't easy but it seems you've made quite the impression on the locals."
"Thank you sir," you smile.
"Seth, please. I truly hate formalities and after all you've done to restore this place I'd like to think that we can become friends. I have a lot of fond memories here and I plan to spend my summers here as often as I can," he slips you a folder across the table and holds up his hand. "Information on the house, you can look at it later. Now that the business part of this lunch is over I'd like to be a bit more personal if you don't mind."
You and Yen agree.
"Not to be too nosy but if you two get married anytime soon I'd like to be invited to that wedding," he grins.
Yen chokes on his drink.
"Too soon?" Seth laughs.
It was indeed a conversation you both have been avoiding, either too scared or too tired to bring it up. You both liked where you were at right now and you weren't sure how Yen felt about marriage since his divorce.
"We really haven't had that talk," you admit.
"Ah, well all the same I'd still like an invite for whenever the wedding does happen," he grins.
For the rest of the lunch he pokes at you both about your relationship and work and just about anything. The ride home is awkward and you both try and talk about anything but marriage but somehow the conversation takes a turn for that when you happen upon the lake.
A wedding is going on in full swing. A bride and groom stand at the shore, both clad in white and brimming with happiness. Everyone applauds when they kiss, some cry and some hug one another. A celebration of love.
Yen is awestruck at the sight and it's not until you drive away that you realize he was crying.
"My light are you alright?" you ask as you pull up in the driveway.
He doesn't answer right away but takes in a few deep breaths, "Is that what a real wedding looks like?"
"Yes, a happy bride... a happy groom. Families and friends celebrating with them. A time of love and joy," you turn and cup his face, wiping away a tear with your thumb. "That's the wedding, the easy part. Marriage, now that's the hard part. Living with the vows you make, promising yourself to your spouse and no one else."
Yen closes his eyes and smiles, "My light, if that's how you see marriage then I feel like I should have asked for your hand months ago."
You don't know what to say to that and you must look dumbstruck with your mouth agape.
"If marriage is a promise and vows unbreakable to you, then I'd gladly bind myself to you. I'd never look to another because you're all I'll ever want. You are my fate and I'd wait forever for you if I have to. And even if you never want to marry I'd still stay by your side. I love you my light, my queen," he leans in and kisses you, his lips tasting of his tears.
Days go by after that lunch and you both keep enjoying your days off. Neither of you bring up the subject of marriage again but it feels like it's just right there on the tip of your tongues.
You both have a couple days to yourselves, Yen goes to hang out with Kirill and Tao while you go with Morgan to the restaurant to hang out with the owner. She seems unusually and extra giddy about something though she won't talk about whatever it is. She checks her phone several times throughout the visit and when you and Morgan leave she looks like she's wearing a large grin.
When Morgan drops you off it's at the end of the driveway because she has to dash and she hates backing out. An understandable excuse. It's not until you get closer to home that you truly see why.
Fairy lights border the back porch, white flowers are potted here and there and Yen is standing clad in a white suit. You can barely breath the closer you get, the more you take everything in. He starts down the porch, meeting you halfway.
"Yen... what's this all ab-"
Before you can finish he's getting down on one knee and taking your hands in his.
"I know we really haven't talked much about our future together, but I feel like we're leaving it already. Day by day, project by project, little disagreements, cultural clashes, and learning experiences. I love it all. I love you. And all I want is for you to know that I'd gladly give myself to you for the rest of our lives. Love only you, vows or no vows. My promises to you are unbreakable regardless of rings. But I still want to ask, I still want to offer you my life. Will you marry me my light, my fate, queen of my heart" he asks, voice steady and certain though his hands are shaking as they hold yours.
You don't know what to say, don't know what to do. You never thought anyone would want you like this so you feel unprepared. You're crying and shaking and smiling and you think you must look silly but you can't bring yourself to care.
You nod your head slowly as you kneel down and wrap your arms around him, "Yes... Yes, I'll marry you Yen, my light, my fate, king of my heart."
Yen pulls you into his arms and scoops you up as he kisses you silly, "EVERYONE SHE SAID YES!"
Suddenly people came crawling out of your house applauding and cheering. You see your godmother, your doctor, Morgan, Tao and his wife, Kirill Jr, Kirill Sr his wife and sister, Betzabeth and even Mr. Seth. Everyone is congratulating both of you but it hardly registers, it feels too unreal.
Weeks pass by and as you plan your wedding with Yen and something unexpected happens. Varen shows up saying he's brought the perfect engagement gift for Yen.
A man slightly taller than Yen with light blue wavy hair and the same opalesque eyes stands by Varen.
"This is Alon, your future father in law," Varen points to him and your jaw drops as well as whatever Yen must have been holding.
Yen runs up to his father and the two hug it out. Apparently right after the court case with the Queen, Varen had helped Alon with his divorce which was made easy since the new queen, his daughter supported it. He just finished his acclimation program and heard that his son is getting married.
You both offer for Alon to stay with you but he's already got a place nearby. The three of you talk and talk about the wedding, Alon's move, and work. You know Yen must be over the moon that his father is here and can be a part of the wedding. You're happy for him too.
~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Out of here shoo! It's bad luck for the groom to see the bride before the wedding!" Morgan snaps at Yen as he tries for a third time to sneak into the tent you're in.
Morgan and Priscilla have been helping you with your dress and make up all morning. Betz has been a godsend popping in here and there with snacks and encouraging words and jokes to lighten the mood. You've been a nervous wreck these last couple of days, not because you're scared, no not that. You're nervous because this is happening!
"I still can't believe my baby girl is finally getting married and to a prince!" Priscilla dabs the corners of her eyes with a handkerchief.
Yen might not be a king anymore but because his sister is now Queen he's royalty once more. You both had a good laugh over it especially when he pointed out you'd become a princess. You two spent a few days jokingly calling each other 'your highness'.
"You look gorgeous and now with this 'new' tiara from your soon to be sister in law, you look like a princess," Morgan smiles as she sets it upon your head.
Although she can't be here, Yen's twin sent her love and several wedding gifts days ago. Tiara for the wedding included.
Betz pops her head in, "It's time."
Your godmother takes one last good look at you and smiles, "Shall we?"
Music starts playing as you walk down the path of white rose petals, a wedding rendition of Careless Whisper the first song you and he danced to on your first date. He looks terribly handsome in his suit. You see his breath catch the closer you get and his eyes redden. Kirill pats him on his shoulder and you can't help but to smile.
"You look like a princess," he smiles when he takes your hand, takes you from Priscilla.
Your godmother starts crying as she goes to sit and you feel like you're about to be on the verge of tears.
"This is happening," you whisper with a smile as the officiant walks up.
"It's happening my light," he smiles back.
You both say your vows, his a bit too long to the point that it becomes a bit of a joke later on during the reception, the guys taking a shot every time they read 'my light' off the script.
Alon offers to dance with you during the father daughter dance portion of the night and you can't help but to cry a little since you never thought you'd be able to. Apparently he took dance lessons just for the occasion, courtesy of Varen to your surprise.
Mr. Seth not only showed up to the wedding per your invite as he requested but he ended up paying for the whole thing, a very unexpected gift.
"A word from the bride and groom," Morgan clinks her glass and heads turn to you and Yen.
"Make it short though, I don't think some of us can sit through another TED talk," Kirill hollers and everyone laughs including you.
Yen stands up and feigns a mean glare, "I've married the love of my life and my best friend. But I've also married an incorrigible joker, workaholic, thief and-"
"I didn't know it was the last one alright!" you interrupt, knowing he's talking about how you accidentally ate the last piece of candy.
Everyone laughs.
"Argument still pending. But on top of all that, I've married the kindest, smartest, and loveliest woman I have the highest honor of knowing. My light-"
"Shot" half the crowd says in unison and takes a drink. Yen shakes his head and laughs.
"My fate and now my princess," he looks down and smiles at you, slowly sitting back down.
"When I agreed to marry Yen," you start as you stand up "I knew what I'd be getting myself into. What I didn't expect was all the fish dick jokes."
People shout and whoop and laugh, Yen is in tears giggling.
"I still think my favorite is double dicken though," you snort. Tao's wife raises her glass. "Putting that aside though, I'm so incredibly happy that I've met Yen and honored to be his best friend, sorry Kirill."
The orc plays as if he's wounded and turns to Yen with a pout.
"Honestly I never thought I'd find love ever again but then I met Yen and he turned my entire world upside down. Little by little he broke down all the walls I had put up years and years ago and I was helpless as I just fell for him. Kind and funny and stubborn as hell. I can't imagine my life without him in it now," you take a deep breath and dip down to kiss him and the crowd goes wild.
The night drags on and in the style of the fair folk the reception really doesn't end. Alon and Priscilla share stories of when you and Yen were children, mostly embarrassing stories of course. To your surprise Mr Seth showed up with your friend who specializes in interior designing, you three had a good laugh that you two know each other.
Tao, Yen, Kirill and the band somehow end up in the lake which causes a domino effect of everyone ending up in it, you included.
"Shall I swim us home while everyone is preoccupied, my wife?" he grins, hands playing with your now heavy and very soaked dress.
"Mmmm that sounds like a wonderful idea, my husband," you smile and he takes you underwater, kissing you till you can breathe.
Despite your heavy dress he swims you home with no problems. He helps you onto the dock before he climbs up the latter he installed recently. You laugh as he transforms into his human form, half naked half suited. Yen rolls his eyes and scoops you up and you giggle and gasp.
He carries you up to the house and to the front door. He opens it slowly and steps in, "We're home, my wife. I love you."
You can't help but to tear up as you grin, "I love you too, my husband."
