Not-A-Very-Good Town wasn’t a very good town. The people were crude and paranoid, the crops were always wilting, and everyone could hear Helga banging someone or other every night. Still, it was home.

Cornelius was born in this town. After a dreary and pitiful life with nothing to his name but a creepy eye for a family heirloom, he was sure he would die here too. It wasn’t all that bad though. He had a wonderful partner in Catt and adorable son in Robin. Even though this town was pretty shit, Cornelius could say he was pretty happy.

Apparently, that’s all the world needed. The only ray of happiness in this godforsaken world being extinguished without rhyme or reason was enough to prompt an ascension.

I just realized today’s the anniversary of The Village That Went Mad so enjoy this doodle of Robin (which also doubles as the first drawing I did of the new year)

You also get some of my headcanons for him as a treat.

-After the ordeal in Not A Very Good Town, he roams around the world. He wears Cornelius’s cloak and Cat’s hat which both he’d taken from their homes on the way out.

-He vividly remembers burning, as well as seeing the murderous duo that survived the night. They didn’t attack or believe him to be alive, but they did feel it when he drove his adoptive father’s knife into their sides. He ran before they could grab him, fleeing into the woods.

-He’s not sure what keeps him alive, but he’s well aware that whatever it is… it wants something from him.

-He was brought to the non canon version of the Village (based on the one year anniversary of it) by chance, and unlike last time, he followed Karl back into the timeless rift he created.

-He’s the reason Sheriff Thompson has the scar on his eye.

Do you have any headcanons for cat corpse (still don't know his name) and robin (and maybe Cornelius if you like them as the family.)?

I do like them as a family, thank you! I don't really have much, but I do have a few things I can scrape up.

Catt has lived in the village his whole life, maybe travelling outside of it on occasion but still living there all the same. He's mostly blind, has been so for as long as he can remember, simple as that. He is simply a cat hybrid man living his best life honestly, good for him.

Catt met Robin first, took him in and essentially adopted him, took the kid under his wing. They consider themselves father and son, and that was that, even if Robin is still viewed as The Orphan by the rest of the townsfolk.

Catt met Cornelius when the man came into town one day, and then he just never left. Cornelius was an outsider, the mysterious traveler who came into their little village bearing nothing but dwindling supplies, the clothes on his back, and his own knowledge and wisdom. Catt offered his home to him for the time being, and things just went from there. They consider themselves married, simple as that.

Robin and Cornelius are Catt's family and he loves them very, very much. He found them and brought them all together, brought them into his home for a time and they ended up staying. They just- they're a family now, and that is that.

So, about that Forever Purge Masquerade Trion AU... share please? I'm very intrigued honestly.

I’m thinking of this as more of an apocalypse au if anything but the movie gave me ideas

John dies relatively early on, Moon ends up having to bury him as some kind of apology for not being able to save him

Then I think Moon stays alone for the most time until he runs into the rich folk, which consists of James, Lyaria, Billiam, Hubert, and Lord Sebastian (Oliver is dead cause I hate him /pos :>)

It’s a “don’t hurt me, and I won’t hurt you” dynamic between the rich people and Moon, cause they find him near John’s makeshift grave. He almost kills James before Lyaria explains that they aren’t violent and are just trying to get by. After some reaffirming from everyone else, Moon lets go and tells them to leave him alone, at least until Billiam convinced him to come with them. Moon hesitates, but agrees, cause being in a group could prove beneficial

They end up finding Drew later on, and keep him around cause he knows the area they’re in pretty well, plus he has maps of other places too. And they find Robin wandering around and Moon gets instantly attached and lets him come with because he has the moral code of not abandoning children

Eventually they find Sherman, and I think Moon would have to explain that John’s dead, cause Sherman was looking for him. It’s sad :(

Sherman tags along cause his brother and his best friend’s little brother are there

I’m considering this an apocalypse au cause I like that term more :>>

[insert random headcanon symbol] for Robin :]?

He makes flower crowns for the people he cares about, and also knows a lot about flowers in general. Robin really likes flowers, and plants in general. This also extends to herbs, and he does have a bit of an interest in potion making, though the possibility of actually getting those materials is unlikely.

Even so, he still has books on flowers, herbs, and potion making, given to him as gifts by Catt and Cornelius. It made him really, really happy, and they also wanted to encourage him.

Basically, Robin just really likes plants and flowers honestly, he just thinks they're neat, and he also wants to help a lot of people when he grows up, too. Robin's a good kid.
