I love how people around them heavily emphasize that the Draconias are dragons instead of just nocturnal fae. It's what makes them them; it's the reason why they suffer, yet it's also an identity that they're so proud of and will never shed even if it means being branded as monsters.

I have an idea that involves Velvet and i wanted to ask you what you thought of it! :3

A few days after RWBY and Jaune return from the Ever After, Velvet notices that Jaune is keeping his distance from her, and she has no idea why. She asks all of Team RWBY and even Nora, Ren, and Oscar, but they don’t know why he’s doing it either.

She tells Coco about it and she immediately wants to figure it out and the two basically corner Jaune to get him to talk. He relents pretty quickly and says he’s doing it to make sure he doesn’t make Velvet uncomfortable.

Velvet has no idea why he’d make her feel that way, he’s her friend after all, so Jaune explains that soon after returning from Ever After he caught himself reaching to touch her ears out of Habit because he did it with Juniper whenever he was stressed or needed something to ground himself, but he knows that touching a Faunus Trait is a very serious and intimate thing and felt horrible for nearly intruding on her personal space.

Velvet is touched by his thoughtfulness and says she appreciates it immensely, but he doesn’t have to distance himself from his friends, all he had to do was explain from the start and she would understand, and now she does :3

Coco’s still hung up on the fact that Jaune was friends with an honest-to-gods Jackalope LANSKXSBJS

I totally see this scenario being believable. All that trauma from his time in the Everafter. And Juniper was his only stability for so so so long…you don’t forget someone like that. See their ghost in familiar places, in familiar people.

I think it’ll do him good to start being made to process his issues. I haven’t made it to V9 yet but my take on Jaune is he’s just having a bad day constantly. Underdog healer. Being around new company will do him good. Help him process. I think when the trio are alone together they’ll make a lot of progress with that. Unload a lot of that baggage he’s been carrying.

Anyways, boy’s gonna be fine. He’s in good hands and even better company~

When you go on walks, what’s your favourite part? Mine is when I find one of the rivers or small streams nearby my house. Or when I get to meet some new dogs- or when the temperature is just warm enough to bask in whilst the trees are rustling because of a strong breeze. Maybe my favourite part is the walk itself, I like walking places. Problem is I always need to have a destination in mind.

the weather is getting nicer so its the best time to go outside and poke around for some new visitors ^_^

August 5, 2023 - Saturday ✧ Productivity Challenge 5/50

My brother looked into my room and told me it looks like a bookstore or library was closing its doors because of the amount of books everywhere. Any kind of moving requires so much cleaning and physical labor my whole body is sore but I'm glad to be getting more exercise than just the occasional walks I go on. Also I was gifted a basketball by someone who won a promotion at a store and got one for free lol and now I am on the hunt for someone to play basketball with one of these days.

do you ever go back to the like crazy mv just to take a moment to appreciate how purposeful the casting of jimin's female foil was? i wonder how many photos they looked through before they found a bone structure similar enough you might mistake it at first glance. the small, delicate nose, puffy lips, soft cheeks over a sharp jaw. she is so intentionally another version of him, this reflection of opposite and self, even if we only ever get quick, dreamy glimpses of her actual face.

everything about this music video is such a good example of show, don't tell in storytelling and it's a perfect accompaniment to the song itself. gosh, i love it. (and by it, i mean park jimin) 🩵

Been missing the Gale Squad and their chaotic Act 1 nonsense, and after poking around Nexus Mods, have found a halfway decent solution to the bugged Scalemail of Devotion situation until Larian fixes it.

(Basically had to use the Pantsless Scalemail of Devotion from this mod and I think it was the moonsomething pants from this mod. Thank you modders for my sanity.)

It's close enough to not throw me as much as the glitched top currently is, so I'll take it. 🤞 Patch 7 restores my beloved blue tabard so she can wear her normal armor again.

Also I gave Gale Squad's Ari an extra outfit for when Gale starts outfit hopping again. I also need to step up the rest of the squad's fashion sense to match these two's ever evolving wardrobe.
