Cashier: "Wow, aren't you independent? Are you three brothers?"

Brothers. Sebek's eyes glitter in excitement. Malleus and Silver are his brothers.

Sebek runs away, crying. Lilia scolds Malleus for his overly blunt, thoughtless behavior when he finds out about it that night.

In the game, this sequence was presented as if Malleus' random thought was just coincidentally helpful to Yuu, but in the manga they revised it to Malleus actually helping Yuu without giving him the real answer. I think I prefer the manga interpretation because it's in line with him acting like a king who only gives guidance while letting his subjects grow with their own power.

And also the way he's describing the gargoyles as an allegory to himself... Damn.

When you think about it, Malleus helping out Yuu makes complete sense. He's likely well-versed with every magic their world has to offer, so it's possible that he's already broken down and understood Azul's unique magic just from Yuuta's descriptions.

This is exactly why the writers are avoiding Malleus' participation in events and kept his appearance, while plentiful compared to the other overblotters, to a minimum in the main story before Book 7. No problem really has any chance to challenge him.

THANK GOD next update likely isn't the final chapter since the story SSR is ROOK and not a Diasomnia member. I mean it's ridiculous if they're gonna end the highly anticipated Book 7 with Rook omfg. I'm thinking maybe at least two more for SSR Silver and Malleus? Twst is unpredictable so I can't guess with confidence, but I'm thinking they would at least release dream Malleus in king or dragon form as a final hurrah for Book 7.
