That is a blessing.

There’s a reason why you are still walking with Him and continue to seek Him despite your hardships. I believe it’s because underneath your desire for an easy life, you know without a doubt you would not be where you are today. You’re a more resilient and strong person, and you know it would be so much more difficult handling situations if you didn’t seek God. Make sure to encounter gladness in your heart when you surrender your pain and suffering to the LORD. Okay y'all, after that clusterfuck that was Az's POV, we have a love pentagon on our hands, and it honestly could go anywhere. Before, I thought that all the ships pretty much had an equal chance of being endgame, but I went back and read ACOSF, and I noticed something that made me think otherwise.

This is when Cassian visits the Band of Exiles. They notice that there are flames in Vassa's eyes, which means that her time as a human is running out and she's about to turn back into a firebird. Lucien looks at her with what Cassian describes as pain on his face. And then when Vassa talks about her enslavement, Cassian says that it looks like Lucien is setting his target on Koschei. Idk but this looks like foreshadowing to me. A lot of people have been speculating that Elain will be the one to take down Koschei since she has visions of him, but I think it will be Vassa. And honestly, that makes so much more sense to me. Elain will definitely play a role, but Vassa should be the one to destroy Koschei, because she is the one closest to him, and she is the one that he has enslaved. And Lucien clearly has an intent to help Vassa with her curse and he has been to Koschei's lake before. And let's not forget that Lucien is the son of Helion Spell-Cleaver. Lucien probably possesses those Spell-Cleaving abilities too, and they're definitely gonna come in handy with Vassa's curse. Also, SJM has said for a long time that she wanted to write a Swan Lake story, and this is it folks.

Now, we also know that it's been confirmed that Elain is getting a book, and we all know SJM is obsessed with Az and has already talked about his bedroom habits. Why talk about him being kinky if you're not gonna write it? If one book will be about Lucien and Vassa/The Band of Exiles, that means the other book has to be Elriel. And besides Koschei, there's also the threat of Beron and the remaining queens, who I think will be the main antagonists in Elain's book. Also, the Band of Exiles literally has a name, just like the IC. If they weren't important, then I don't think SJM would have given them a name. And honestly, they have such an interesting dynamic, I would love to have a whole book about them and my baby boy Lucien. I also wouldn't mind if they were an OT3, because you can't lie, that would be epic.

I'm also leaning more towards Elriel than Gwynriel because of the way all that shit with the necklace went. Azriel literally have Gwyn a necklace meant for another female. That is not the basis of a good relationshipn imo, and my baby Gywn deserves better than that. I love Az, too, but that was a dick move. We also got a healing arc with Gwyn already, while we know so much less about Elain. Not to mention, the Feysand POV said that there was more to Elain than meets the eye. Baby girl is a mystery in terms of her personality and her powers.

Now, I could be completely wrong about literally all of this, and I'm not entirely sure, but this is just the way I'm leaning. But, based on what we've seen so far, I think the next two books are more likely to be Elriel and Lucien x Vassa. I might also be biased a longtime Elriel shipper lol. And this is in no way meant to bash other ships, feel free to ship whoever you want and disagree with me.
