I'm just imagining pre-reboot Archie Sonic and IDW Sonic hanging out, and somehow ended up talking about their lrelationships. And it gets a bit chaotic.

what are your thoughts on steve and tommy ever having feelings for each other? i know tommy's actor said he thinks tommy liked steve romantically. knowing steve and his lrelationships with people i sort of saw it more that steve cared more for tommy. steve is always such a bleeding heart for people he loves. i like the idea that steve became king for tommy. did things he didn't want to for him, followed where he led so tommy would like him, so tommy would be happy. i dont mean to say that steve had no thoughts of his own, its hard to find your identity as a teenager, but i could see him shape himself to the mold tommy encouraged but that can only be sustainable for so long. also sorry for so many asks recently i hope im not bothering you

Okay so I don't know if this is a popular or unpopular opinion, or maybe it's just an opinion tbh, but I feel absolutely nothing about Tommy. Perhaps if they had given more to his character I would feel more for him, but I feel like he was just an archetype of like 'Asshole guy Tommy' the way kids are trees in school plays. It's got nothing to do with his actor, who I've seen a few videos and stuff about and he's a very sweet guy so it's definitely not a reflection of his skill, Tommy just wasn't someone that caught my attention character wise.

That being said, if I were to look deeper into their relationship, I'd definitely say that if their were romantic feelings they would be from Tommy to Steve but they would be unreciprocated. I feel like Steve would see Tommy as a link to the person his parents deem acceptable, so he wouldn't even make room for the idea of something romantic. Steve had this life laid out for him and was expected to follow the rules, so I personally view his transition into King Steve(tm) as a means of survival. With that thought, I do think he'd let himself be led in whatever direction his friends would shove him towards.

yes doing things apart is definitely a needed thing in a lrelationship and I understand that u can't do EVERYTHING together but it's a little different when he can hang out w his friends if he's doing something without me but if I do something without him it has to be alone bc I don't have anyone to do anything with :,)
