March 11, 2024 - Exhortation
You are now being deployed into your destiny. You may feel unequipped but God doesn't call the equipped, He equips the called.
You are a “called out one,” and not by might, not by your strength, but by His Spirit you will always have exactly what you need to accomplish all He has called you to. Be brave and very courageous, because the Lord your God goes with you wherever you go, and He shall be your victory and your mighty God who saves over and over again!
If you will reach true spiritual maturity, you must learn to overcome self (the great opposer of God) and anything that doesn’t match up with Heaven -- you will begin to truly discern the enemy, move in Christ’s authority, and learn perseverance in the fight of exercising the God kind of faith.

Have Some Spiritual Discernment (Deuteronomy 13:1-5)
"It is the nature of false prophets to create a conscience where there is none, and to cause conscience to disappear where it does exist." Martin Luther
Prophet, by Théophile Alexandre Steinlen, 1902 Prophets or interpreters of dreams may promise a miracle or a wonder, in order to lead you to worship and serve gods that you have not worshiped before. Even if what they promise comes true, do not pay any attention to them. The Lord your God is using them to test you, to see if you love the Lord with all your heart. Follow the Lord and honor him;…

Quote
Walk more closely with God. Get nearer to Christ. Seek to exchange hope for assurance. Seek to feel the witness of the Spirit more closely and distinctly every year. Lay aside every weight, and the sin that so easily threatens you. Press towards the mark more earnestly. Fight a better fight, and war a better warfare every year you live. Pray more. Read more. Subdue self more. Love the brethren more. Oh that you may endeavor to grow in grace every year, that the end of your Christian course may be better than the beginning!

SURRENDER
• I am not in control. If I ever try to make my own decisions without consulting God or decide against His plan I am betraying God and condemning my soul
SACRIFICE
• Do not cling to dreams, friends, health, nonbiblical inspiration, comfort, or hope that anything in this flesh life is ever going to be important or matter. Only serving God matters. And no it's not ok to care about unimportant things sometimes. Only care about pleasing God
SUFFER
• God is best pleased when you lose, when you deny, when another part of you dies, when you collapse in defeat after fighting Him and His will. Embrace suffering as a blessing and rejoice in it. Suffering should not be the opposite of happiness. It should be the cause.
HATE YOUR LOVES. KILL YOUR LIFE. MAY IT PLEASE THE LORD.

All In: Daily Devotion
All In: Daily Devotion
Hebrews 5.11-14 Paul says it this way in Romans 12.2, “…do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.” By spending quality time in God’s Word every day, the Spirit takes the truth that we have read and begins to transform us, so that whatever the situation, we can…

Problems cannot be solved at their own calibrated level of consciousness, but only by rising to the next higher level. Each solution has within itself a new set of limitations ad issues to resolve. Our society is one of excesses; it swings like a pendulum too far in one direction and then too far in the opposite direction because it gets caught in the duality of either/or and this or that. Maturity results in a middle way that allows for both ends of the spectrum of human behavior.

Remember Passover (Deuteronomy 16:1-8)
Perhaps we ought to stop trying to always have takeaways for everything – as if the Bible can be boiled down to some neat personal application for my life.
Exodus, by Yoram Raanan Observe the month of Aviv and celebrate the Passover of the Lord your God, because in the month of Aviv he brought you out of Egypt by night. Sacrifice as the Passover to the Lord your God an animal from your flock or herd at the place the Lord will choose as a dwelling for his Name. Do not eat it with bread made with yeast, but for seven days eat unleavened bread, the…

Living His Word

LORD, my heart is not haughty, Nor my eyes lofty. Neither do I concern myself with great matters, Nor with things too profound for me. Surely I have calmed and quieted my soul, Like a weaned child with his mother; Like a weaned child is my soul within me. - Psalm 131:1-2
Those who are immature in the faith may still have a problem with haughtiness. They may still harbor selfish ambitions and grand illusions, refuse to associate with anyone who can't help them get to the top, and act wise in their own minds (Romans 12:16). Such people may also have eyes that are lofty. That is, they look past and refuse to acknowledge anyone they consider inferior to themselves. They have the "proud look" that the Lord hates (Proverbs 6:17).
The haughty also tend to concern themselves with great matters. They concern themselves with matters beyond their capacity and station in life. They take positions on issues they know nothing about and they hold firm opinions on everything, regardless of the complexity. Further, the haughty even concern themselves with profound things. That is, they concern themselves with things that supersede human comprehension. Instead of humbly sticking to the things that have been revealed to us, they vainly speculate on the secret things that belong to God and God alone (Deuteronomy 29:29).
The mature in the faith, in contrast, are not like the haughty. They have calmed and quieted their souls. In place of the petulant striving and struggle of the proud soul to stay above the next guy, in place of the arrogant reflection on matters beyond them and futile speculation on things above them, they have humble souls at peace with their God-ordained place in life and untroubled by great and profound matters.
The mature soul, like a weaned child that has gotten past the need for mother's milk, has gotten past the immature pride of the selfishly ambitious and the infantile conceit of the haughty mind. Like a weaned child, the mature soul has achieved its growth and does not need to go back to where it came from. It waits patiently for the next stage of life and the wisdom that comes with it.
Today, be at peace with where you are in life and with the wisdom you have been given. God will see to the next stage of your ascent and see to the wisdom you need at that time.
