Mafia Boss David Shaw makes so much sense to me… legs kicked up on the desk, arms folded against his chest as Asher explains the parameters of their latest job. (Milo’s at Asher’s side of course, making sure he’s speaking it back correctly because he doesn’t trust Ash to do the talking all on his own). I’m talking right white button downs (or black depending on the day), fitted dress pants, and expensive slacks. He’s the same old David- except way more violent.

Ash is still his right-hand-man, making most of the perceivable decisions of the public name- while David handles the finances and paperwork. He isn’t necessarily a hands-on type of guy, David would often explain. But truthfully, it all depended on the client.

Their alliance with the Solaire “clan” mafia, earned them a better name per Sam’s persistent recommendation of inspection. OOOOOHHH MAFIA DINNERS AT FANCY ASS RESTAURANTS.

Williams at one end of this big as table, and David’s on the other, as their respective members sit on each of the inside ends. It’s completely candlelit, and the tension is heavy at first until William shares his more- mischievous nature.

David Shaw is a monster. Well at least that’s what Angel’s coworkers kept telling them over their lunches in the break room. Their friend had kept up a huge debt with some “William” guy, and an allying group had come to…..collect it.

Yeah no fucking shit, this dude came to work three days later with a black eye, broken nose, and fractured spine. Whoever this group was, they were no joke. Especially this “David Shaw” character.

I’m imagining these two meeting in a back alley, some douchebag was following Angel on the streets one night when their phone had died. He was calling after them as they sped-walked to any corner store they could spot. Once the creep finally grabbed Angel’s shoulder, he was flung backwards into a nearby buildings brick wall. That’s when Angel saw him, a mountain of a man, glaring down at them.

Angel kept following after him ever since then, finding any possible way to thank him. And also maybe because they sorta kinda found him unbelievably sexy. “I don’t need a thank-you, leave me alone.” “Bullshit! Isn’t there anything I can do? Just to get me off your ass?” “….anything huh?” “Anything!” “Fine, follow me, smart ass.”

That’s how Angel ended up paying for David’s meal and snagging his number in the process.

ALRIGHT WITH SOME BACK STORY OUTTA THE WAY HERE ARE SOME GENERAL IDEAS:

Angel on David’s lap during meetings, no one can say anything because this guy’s the boss, they’d get their ass killed.

He’s super soft with them, so fucking gentle despite his—murderous tendencies. Yeah he’s a full blown yandere after he falls desperately in love with them. Like David would kill a man, then come home and wrap Angel up in his arms, peppering their face and neck in slow kisses before making them their favorite food.

Would absolutely kill anyone who fucked with them. David finding out someone made his Angel cry would be a death penalty.

“It makes sense. A little anyway.” Jean says. “He was there for you when you needed someone most. It would be hard to get over that. Anytime I’m hurt I go to Neil. It’s… The same.”

“Yeah. And, stupid as it sounds, I just miss him sometimes.” Kevin says, wiping his good hand over his face. “That’s fucking pathetic, I know. It was only a year.”

“A very trauma-filled year.”

Kevin nods. “I guess that’s why we were so close. Even though everyone else was afraid of Andrew, I only ever felt safe with him.”

Sunny Day Jack - Mafia AU - Family Business

After my last post about the Blouin family in the Mafia AU for Something's Wrong with Sunny Day Jack I wound up going on a little extra ramble over on my twitter (calling it X is too weird for me) about how the family business got started. I figured I'd post it here too to make it easier to read and reference later.

It all started with a small business run by the beautiful Alma Blouin and her husband ???

I'd call him [Redacted] but that alias is taken already, so let's stick with what was written in the family tree, shall we?

I was inspired by Makes me Smile, an engaging story written by Sauce that takes place in the SunnyTime Town AU, that it actually started as a family-run traveling carnival that was a cover for more shady business. The family name and business wound up taking up some permanent roots in St. Valens because of Marceau.

There were more opportunities in that crime-riddled city to do backrooms deals, score illicit substances, and other stuff like that. St. Valens was a city rife with crooked cops and people with dubious morals. Sadly, this hasn't changed in present day. If anything, it's only gotten worse. It just can hide behind a shiny new coat of paint and colorful smiles thanks to the Blouin family taking over so many local businesses under their brand name of SunnyTime LLC.

Lucy Connolly is actually responsible for the SunnyTime brand, which is one reason why she kept her last name even after marrying Marceau Blouin. Since she was young, she wanted to make it big in the city, really clean up the town. She succeeded in making it big, but somewhere along the way she got sucked into a world full of sin and vice where her formally black and white view of morality was blurred with many shades of gray. She's still trying to do the right thing, particularly for her family and people she wants to protect, but sometimes she found it was necessary to do morally questionable things to do it. It was a slow corruption of innocence in a sense.

In a way, Jack gets his more twisted view on right and wrong from Lucy, as Marceau is a bit more up front about how messed up the criminal underworld is and their involvement in it. Jack tries to keep things as "friendly" as possible if he can help it, so to speak.

Marceau started off the business in St. Valens with an entertainment club. You had to know the right signs to get access to the good stuff they didn't show on the menu, stuff that could get you thrown in jail if you didn't have the money to pay off the cops.

One night, Lucy stopped by the club that had suddenly got so popular, thinking it was entirely legitimate, and it led to that fateful first encounter between her and Marceau.

Marceau didn't think he'd be staying in St. Valens long, even if he was trying to take advantage of the place for as long as possible, but Lucy was invested in the city, as it was her hometown. She was friendly and outgoing, and she knew a lot of people there. She grew up with them.

Lucy had a good sense for business, which places would be good to snap up for a song. She knew about the issues with many local gangs and how they intimidated local businesses into giving them a cut of their earnings to not get roughed up. She wanted to stop that sort of thing from happening so that innocent people could live their lives without fear.

Which is why the Blouin family in the present does take care of the citizens of St. Valens and stomp out more unsavory practices like human trafficking. Essentially Lucy wanted justice and went vigilante. (Insert Joker reference/joke here.) When it became clear that not everyone she tried to save was good, well…

That led into her corrupted world view and a more "ends justify the means" approach.

Marceau had been taught to watch his back and stand on his own, not having the best home life. In a sense, Lucy taught him to care more about others, that he could have someone he could trust to watch her back, and he taught her how to not let others take advantage of her and those she cares for.

Really, in the present day, the Blouins own a lot of businesses in a variety of sectors, from entertainment to scientific research to home electronics to weapons manufacturing. They're spread out across not just the SunnyTime LLC brand, but plenty of sub-companies with different names that the average person might not realize is owned by them. The SunnyTime brand has become a known trustworthy across the country and are spreading out slowly internationally.

Well… technically the family business is known internationally, just not in any public circles, and not under any brand name. Marceau alone has committed quite a few international crimes, though no one has been able to pin anything on him publicly. Lucy does a good job of keeping their public facing image squeaky clean, and she won't anyone hurt or take away any of her family.

Now that Jack is in charge, it's his turn to take care of the family and the business. Despite his issues with human touch, both them, and his sunshine, are in good hands.

I’ve been thinking to much about a modern AU where Grogu is 15 instead of a baby. Luke is a cop and Din is (REDACTED)(literally no one knows what he does. ) or maybe he’s a fire fighter.

Grogu gets arrested because he took Din’s motor cycle out for a test drive and slightly wrecks it. (It’s actually his, but he can’t have until he’s 18).

Luke picks him up and is waiting for him at the police station. He’s there like wow, this kid is literally me when I was his age. But Luke was that way because his father is the police chief, and he was always striving to keep up with him. So hey, maybe Grogu needs someone another parental figure in his life, and Luke tries to bond with him in hopes it keeps the kid out of trouble.

But Grogu is just “What? No. My dad is great. I fucking love my dad.” And “My dad is going to come pick me up, and he’s going to be so disappointed in me. He’ll tell me he’s happy I’m ok, and that he’s disappointed in me. Then he’s going to give me the look, and I’m going to cry…. Then he’s going to call uncle Boba and he’ll be disappointed to.”

When Din gets their to pick him up after breaking several traffic laws in a panic, he looks terrifying. Luke is concerned for Grogu’s safety because this guy looks like he could be in the Mafia. He’s not… probably anyway. But he bee lines straight for Grogu and hugs him. He was so worried he wasn’t even speaking English for at least 3 minutes.

Luke falls head over heels in a second.

Since I indulged myself with my GB mafia au yesterday, I figured I'd do a little more self-care and ramble about my Redacted mafia au too.

Buckle up, this is gonna be a long one. (Not that my others aren't, it's kinda my thing)

The security gig is a cover up for an arms dealing business, the most lucrative in Dahlia and a staple to the rest of the families. But they're not afraid to take matters into their own hands if they have to.

The main eight are the team leads with David at the top. Everyone works in pairs, no one goes alone. Not after what happened to Gabe on his own solo mission.

There are two main forces sent when they have to go on missions. Known as the Ground Squad, though they call themselves the Smoke and Mirrors.

Milo and Sweetheart run recon and general intelligence, Milo as the field agent and Sweetheart as the one in the chair though they're known to join him in action when absolutely necessary. Deadly accurate with a sniper, they're very good at their job.

When they're done, the main act comes in. Darlin and Angel work to take threats down. Angel is the decoy, keeping everyone's attention while Darlin is their muscle who actually takes care of business. While Angel is working the floor, Darlin is backstage cracking heads together.

I said there's two main forces sent out on missions. Well, there's also one support team that waits in the wings for something to go wrong. If someone slips up or someone gets wise, then they make their appearance.

Asher and Babe do demolitions, threading through basements and storage rooms with backpacks full of explosives so that things can get solved the loud way. But running just won't do. Too slow, when they get called in then things need to move quickly. So Babe has a pair of pristine white roller skates and Asher has a beat up yet heavily decorated skateboard. They're there to place charges and get the fuck out of dodge before sitting back to watch the fireworks.

Then there's the two back home, the ones who leave the theatrics to the players on the field. Those two would be David and Sam. David stays back to watch everything from a distance, calling the shots and making sure everything goes smoothly. Sam hangs back so that if things go badly, the group doesn't lose their best doctor. Also the families at large don't know that the House and the Pack have their loose alliance, Sam showing his face with the known faces of the Pack would have informants running for their earpieces.

David, Ash, Milo, and Darlin all grew up in the mafia. When David took over and made Ash his second it was a common belief that they would stick together, that there wouldn't be anyone new.

Then Milo brought in Sweetheart. An ex-detective that had been on the case trying to unearth the arms trading ring in the city and made the mistake of falling in love. They left the force and joined their lover on the other side, now hiding from the law and their former colleagues.

The Pack wasn't too happy about Milo bringing in an officer, unsure if their intentions were genuine and to this day some are still suspicious. But as they were all reeling, David introduced Angel. Angel was a small-time athlete that often was participating at events the Pack was working. When David caught their eye, they started to pester him between matches no matter how much he tried to ignore them. He tried to push them away, tried to protect them, but after an event they were at that he was working was attacked by a rival family, David knew he had to take them in. At least then he would know they were safe.

Babe was third. A pizza delivery person who strolled around the city on roller skates to deliver all their orders. They delivered to the security company pretty often and Asher was usually the one to recieve it. He thought they were cute the first time he met them and Asher all but insisted on being the one to get the pizza when it arrived ever since. It didn't take long for the two to have the other wrapped around their finger and thus Babe made seven.

Lastly came Sam. It was an accident, really. Darlin had been going rogue to find Quinn (very much against David's orders, we know how he feels about going solo) when they bumped into Sam. Funnily enough, he was out looking for Quinn too. They tried to keep things on the down low, last thing they needed was for their rivaling families to find out they were seeing each other. But of course, Darlin is about as subtle as a neon sign and David figured it out. So he set up a meeting between the three of them and William to come to a compromise. William agreed to give Sam to the Pack on the promise that the Pack would help the House when requested and Sam would have to return when called. David agreed and their quiet alliance was forged.

I think that's everything I've got?? I've had a long day my brain is shutting down. But yeah, maybe I'll actually do something with this now that it's all written out. Who knows.

Ok so I am NOT going to try and make this cohesive at all and I will joust be rambling abt my little guys and I will NOT apologize for that . Expect many a spelling mistake and autism grammar checks

Splinter was first married to Big Mama AKA Mona Lisa AKA [REDACTED] - who is let's just say is a VERY powerful woman. I haven't worked out the exact logistics yet but basically she's a mob / mafia leader that may or may not run multiple puppet governments and have multiple a' corrupt politicians under her thumb. Kinda similar to how Big Mama basically runs the whole hidden city or at least oversees pretty much all the crime that happens within it. I imagine that Lou Jitsu was like , a solid b to a-list celebrity? Kind of similar to Jackie Chan and Bruce Lee since that's the kind of persona he seems to be based off of in the show. The rest basically follows the same premise - Big Mama and Splinter worked together at some point and fell in love but THEN instead of getting kidnapped the marriage actually went thru and they were married for a few years before having Raph.

Turns out for the both of them having a kid on the table was NOT very productive to their already very thin-fucking ice marriage. Especially since up to this point Big Mama had been rather abusive towards Splinter to the point where most of Yoshi's finances relied on her which is the main reason he hadn't Left yet. Yeah suffice to say he got him and Raph (whose abt 6 months old at the time of the divorce) the fuck out of there. And ya let's just say he got reimbursed (which was a FUCKING MIRACLE in of itself.)

Their relationship is MUCH more finicky but ik it lasted abt 2 yrs, and I imagine they had been actually talking throughout Splinter and B. Mama's marriage but it only started going in like - an official romantic direction after the two of them split up. Splinter being fresh out of an abusive marriage, suddenly being responsible for finances for the first time in over half a decade, with a Baby and the PRESS being Up His Ass decided "hm maybe marrying a rich bioengineer with a stable job charming personality who was an emotional support during a rough time in my life isn't such a bad idea." And then it was just like SIKE you have twins , your kids are science experiments, turns out he's TAKEN UR DNA WITHOUT YOUR CONSENT and made a WHOLE NOTHER BABY you had NO IDEA ABT and wtf turns out your kids are fucking super soldiers ? Fuck that that noise ! Take what you can change your name and HIT THE FUCKIN BRICKS !!!!!!!!!

Yknow it's funny when I think about Norman in the Mafia AU because when I was thinking about it, it's a human(kinda) working with and for a bunch of abnormal beings and it's funny how he would just have a big as hell binder with him of what to do and not to do with each person he comes across there.

Plus more Mafia! Norman facts and hopefully a little comic coming later;

Even though he makes good money as a dealer, he doesn't stay in certain places that often, so he hops from town to town trying to have a decent life while on the run from a mysterious person. That's until he randomly encounters the Mafia.

Even though Norman is human, he still has some rubber hose cartoon blood in him. It comes from his mother [REDACTED] and the human part from his Father, [REDACTED]. From part of being half toon, his expressions from time to time aren't as natural like he would do a creepy ass smile, and he wouldn't even know. This applies to the eyes as well. But I feel like for funny expression Mafia! Rabid would probably laugh at them.

He always has a cat following him that just sticks with him, and he doesn't know why. It's gotten to a point where he considers the cat as his little companion. He decided to call him Tex.

I feel like he would have ears everywhere because if theres someone talking about something they're trying to get, they would get it for 'em and put it in their room with a note saying it's for them.

Because of his height, most people just don't take him seriously, especially Mafia! Rabid. This is most likely the reason why people keep calling Norman "kid." For this, he always gets red out of embarrassment for getting mistaken as a kid. And I feel like Mafia! Rabid would just take advantage of this so much. (He's 5'0" btw)

Plus I feel like he can just pop out of anything if anyone is mentioning him or needing him. Like he can be there in an instant.

(Good lord I haven't realized this has gone longer than expected but CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT)

I like the rubber hose thing, I always liked the look of it from bendy and cuphead but I’m sure there’s other better examples, m!rabid wouldn’t really be startled by your popping up out of nowhere since m!moshieee does the same thing since their so quiet when they walk.

Water mayhem - Mythical water creatures live in the deepest depth to the shallowest of waters,hidden from plain sight with powers that could make humans greed and take them away.The Mad dogz are trying to find them,their intentions are unknown for now.
