What if only someone else can name an ability? Like, you can't pick a name for your own ability. Like, Dazai named "Beast beneath the moonlight". And what if Mori picked the names for "No longer human" and "Thou shall not die"? I dunno, I just feel like it makes sense. And Fukuzawa named "Ultra deduction" and professor N named "For the tained sorrow". I just feel like it would made sense. And the one that picks the name must be some "mentor" like person. And I think Natsume must've picked "Flawless" (Odasaku's ability).

But who could have named Rashōmon? It can't be Dazai, because Aku uses the same name for it in Beast. Could it be Natsume? Irl Natsume was irl Akutagawa's mentor so this could be it.

And who named Mori's ability, "Vita sexualis". I know that technically speaking Natsume is Mori's mentor, but I don't think he named it. Maybe his superior in the war?

And who named "Crime and Punishment"? Jesus? (Jk, don't kill me) But it would make sense. Like, we know Fyodor is hella old and we know he's looks up to God. So I feel like it would make sense. (But Asagiri won't say this even if it was true)

Disclaimer: this is just a theory and I don't exactly remember everything from the series and I'm only like 60% sure abt the fact that Natsume was Akutagawa's mentor irl. So if it doesn't make sense I'm sorry.

my mori headcanons because people are wrong too much

1. he listens to oingo boingo. why? hes insane. a freak. he murders for fun with a scalpel and a little girl soldier that has a giant syringe. this guy fucking loves oingo boingo

2. he has two (2) consecutive outfits for mafia business. this is because in his natural habitat he dresses like a divorced father and the rest of his wardrobe is as such

since i'm not sleeping

kouyou is the only high ranking mafia member with decent sleeping schedule. "oh, you need me to torture someone? wait until 8 pm, good night"

chuuya and mori so often sleep in the mafia headquarters that they keep toothbrushes in mori's cabinet and never speak about it, just wake up on chair/under the table and go to the closest bathroom to brush the teeth. apparently, mori's status as a doctor makes it less uncomfortable to have two used toothbrushes on the shelf, so that's why chuuya doesn't keep one on his table.
