Esta es la que menos me gusta, así que la dejé de último. No pensaba hacerle el pelo largo, pero creo que fue una buena decisión.

Tal vez los rasgos asiáticos en sus ojos no se noten por que los tiene cerrados, pero sí los edité. Además, traté de hacer su piel un poco más pálida y pinté su rostro con el clásico maquillaje chino.

Difuminé todo el line-art para que encajara bien con la imagen y no se notara tanto la diferencia con las líneas originales.

..................... Y aquí acabamos con la serie de princesas racebent. Me gustaría hacer una segunda parte con las princesas 3D, pero ya veremos, mis habilidades en photoshop están más o menos xd.

Let Fiction Stay as Fiction:

This is part 2 of my previous journal "Raceswapping/Colorswapping".

I will continue to defend this stuff and I'll keep repeating it as much as I like. (I re-wrote the part about conservatives and liberals in this 2nd journal. I meant "some", not "all".)

Fiction is fiction. Artists are free to give characters any skin tone they want. As long as they're not trolling/harassing people while doing so, or claiming that they "fixed the character's skin tone", then it's completely fine. Ignore it if you don't like it. (Also, people irl are free to cosplay whatever character they want too). Stop telling innocent artists that "this character has the wrong skin tone" or "umm this is racist, but nice art tho" in their comments. People can raceswap/colorswap characters without being racist/colorist. Characters are recognized by their outfits & hairstyles. Not by skin tone.

I even let people color my ocs (Oakley and Viko) however they want:

I can still tell they're supposed to be my ocs because of the outfits & hairstyles I made for them. Choosing skin tones, hair colors, & eye colors is easy. Coming up with outfits & hairstyles takes time because I want the oc to be recognizable.

We can change our clothes & hair in real life but not the skin tone we were born with. In fiction however, there's no limits. If you think some artists are racist/colorist over a drawing then oh well. Some artists simply like to express their love for different cultures through fiction (including me). Just block them and don't harass/write back-handed compliments on their art.

It's time for people, especially *some adult conservatives and liberals, to start focusing on racism & violence happening right now in real life.

If you see people trolling/harassing people with raceswapped/colorswapped fan art, or claiming they "fixed the character's skin tone, they look better now", then they're the racist ones. Block them and move on. Don't give them or their art any more attention. If you comment something like "this character has the wrong skin tone" or "umm this is racist, but nice art tho" then you're the one being racist because you're seeing skin tone as an issue. Skin tone is not an issue. Let fiction stay fiction.

hannibal nbc is groundbreaking it changed my life I watched it when it aired and I was tuned in every single fucking time. I somehow got my mom to watch with me. It's also kinda a bad show in some aspects and just horrible in others. Such a white ass show. Bryan Fuller really racebent Jack Crawford into a black man then made him aggressive and loud and he's not like that in the novels or any other adaptation. Don't get me started on Chiyoh's lost potential. Season 3 has some like incredible highs some of my fav moments but also is such a fucking mess. Actually ok one of the most aggravating things to me in the show is the fact that Hannibal is only smarter than everyone else bc everyone else is written to be dumb as shit at very key moments. I can totally buy the layers of sorta surreal dream logic with Hannibal being able to get away with the physicality of some kills (like the human tree and the heart) since he is sort of this Lucifer figure like I honestly love that. And the cannibal puns are fine. But when other characters gotta lose their senses all of a sudden for him to get away with something it's like ok well is he really that talented or is the show secretly commentary on the violent and incompetent nature of the US justice system. This show sucks actually. Ignore the fact I'm collabing on a Loumand Hannibal au fic rn. Also Jack and Bella and Hannibal should have had a sexual history together.

Asoiaf modern AU fanfic, with a racebent Dany as korean, whose family had lived from some time in the US before emigrating back in Korea when she was born. And to be cliche, let’s say she end up in a Kpop group, with Irri, Doreah, and Jhiqui. The story would talk about racism, friendship, homosexual love ( between Irri/Dany) and homophobia, as well as the danger that came with slave contract that kpop artist have to deal with.

Oh, can I still ask for headcanons for an AU? Longmire AU in which Cady is biracial (Martha having been afro-american)?

Oh wow... this changes a lot.

You kind of have to start with Martha here and how different her clash with Nighthorse over the casino reads as a woman of color and how differently the very white population of Longmire’s county would see it. Martha always thought that the casino would bring them bad things, but as a woman of color she’s more aware that it is the tribe who will suffer some of the worst consequences, that this deal with the devil will hurt them in ways they cannot yet imagine. Of course, the public always like to criticize black women for being shrill or strident, so she wouldn’t enjoy the same kind of public support.

There would be a lot more suspects in her murder. And her actual murderer: On the show Barlow takes out the white sheriff’s white wife who is basically seen as trying to keep her husband’s job from becoming more dangerous in order to profit off the reservation casino she’s fighting: despicable. But now, white wealthy man that he is he’s killing a black woman who is in the way of his exploiting the local native tribe.

I also feel like the change in her heritage would impact her dynamic with Henry as well. You never get the sense that they didn’t get along on the show, but Henry’s attachment to dealing with her murder is very much “Walt’s wife” “Walt’s pain” etc. I always get the sense that Martha had her own life, her own friends, her own community, beyond Walt’s. They were all friends, but now you make her visibly an outsider and her world shrinks down. She’s clearly not from Absaroka County now and not local Martha who is going to be visibly marked as “other” to everyone needs a real friend in Henry, not just the support of her husband’s best friend because she’s good for his friend and the mother of the closest thing he has to a daughter. Henry steps up, maybe initially because her loneliness hurts Walt but also because that’s who he is, he steps up, and maybe it starts as “because its the right thing” but it grows over time into a true deep friendship.

2) Bi-racial Cady grows up tougher than white Cady. She has to. Its hard for Walt to watch his little girl suffer and get picked on and teased in the way she inevitably will. That’s why he pushes her more strongly to get out, to go further away for school even though it breaks his heart to think of her not being there. She still becomes a lawyer but she leaves Wyoming to do it. Of course, she still comes back when her mom gets sick.

3) This Cady becomes friends with Vic sooner and with more impact. They talk about a lot more stuff, though, of course... there’s always the elephant in the room, especially as the seasons go on.

4) It is harder for Cady to find a law job initially when she gets back home. She ends up working for Henry earlier on and Vic is like “why don’t you come work with us” after Branch (a relationship she tried ever harder to keep a secret in this AU but still got out) leaves an opening, but both Walt and Cady resist her suggestions on this front.

5) The legal aid on the reservation plotline reads a little differently. She’s still an outsider but she’s not a white woman exactly. Still, she has to earn their trust the same way. The big difference is that this Cady is far more used to people not liking her and saying hurtful things. She’s got thicker skin. She doesn’t give up like white Cady. She stays the course and earns people’s trust back. She learns more.

Raceswapping/Colorswapping:

I feel like I'm the only person on earth who truly doesn't care about raceswapping/colorswapping characters.

These are my ocs, Oakley and Viko, who are Native American. Their original skin tones are on the left. I could care less how people want to color them. They're fictional characters. I still recognize them as my ocs because of their outfits and hairstyles:

Anyone of any ethnicity or nationality can be light, medium, or dark skinned. People tend to forget or ignore this a lot.

In my opinion, I believe that racebending/colorbending/raceswapping/colorswapping (however you call it) is not racist unless: 1.) someone intentionally draws to troll or hurt people's feelings or 2.) if someone claims "I fixed this character's skin tone! They look better now!"

I don't care if Princess Tiana or Black Panther are white. I don't care if Snow White is latina. They could be from an AU where the story takes place in a different country or in a multiverse (Thank you, Spider-verse!), who cares. I say let people have fun & draw and cosplay whoever they want. Don't like it? Ignore it. This has been a thing way before Twitter complained about it. (see "disney princesses racebent art" on Google or "Alternate Stories of Disney Princesses in Different Countries")

People (especially adult conservatives and liberals) need to start worrying about actual racism/violence that's happening in the world right now and stop screaming at their screens. Not every single artist raceswaps/colorswaps with bad intentions. Some just like learning about different cultures & expressing it through fiction, like me.

If you think I'm racist/colorist for raceswapping/colorswapping after explaining all of this, then that's your opinion. Block and ignore me.

I'm not the one who's intentionally drawing questionable caricatures/trolling & hurting people's feelings, or going around innocent artists' accounts & telling them how "racist" their fan art is. People who do this stuff tend to be the racist ones.

You can raceswap/colorswap without having to be racist/colorist. It's not that difficult.
