Crown Prince Hussein of Jordan & Rajwa Al Saif's Upcoming Wedding

Only one week day left until the wedding of Crown Prince Hussein of Jordan and Rajwa bint Khaled Al Saif! It will be held on June 1st at 4:00pm at Zahran Palace followed by a reception at Al Husseiniya Palace. The future Crown Princess Rajwa's engagement ring features a large pear shaped diamond but for her henna party she wore a different ring with tilted marquis cut diamonds.

If Rajwa chooses a tiara that already belongs to the JRF, my choice is Queen Rania's Arabic Scroll Tiara. She has already worn several pairs of earrings loaned by her future mother-in-law so wearing one of her tiaras is a strong possibility.

However, my prediction is for her getting a brand new tiara especially after Princess Iman debuted a new tiara at her wedding earlier this year. The tiara might be a gift from either from the JRF or from her own family, who are apparently quite wealthy, but I very much doubt that they will release any information about the tiara like they will for the gown.

Queen Rania hosted the henna party on May 22nd at Raghadan Palace (here's a longer video and the highlight video is below) and King Abdullah will host the sahra party on May 31st at the Bani Hashem Matharib. There's also a concert on the 29th and practices are underway for the parades and drone shows so I expect this to be a pretty big celebration.

The dress code for the guests will be long dresses but no tiaras. The Jordanian royals aren't very big on tiaras so I wasn't expecting the dress code to include them. Update: Saad Salman is now reporting that the guests will also be wearing tiaras most likely at the banquet following the wedding.

Idk how much you care about history but I just learned this

In 1806 Napoleon incorporated Liechtenstein in the Confederation of the Rhine and made it a sovereign state. At the Vienna Congress the sovereignty of Liechtenstein was approved. Liechtenstein became a member of the German Confederation in 1815. This membership confirmed Liechtenstein's sovereignty.

And now I can't help but imagine some noble school AU or something where Liechtenstein is getting kinda pushed around by other students as "not a real noble" or whatever, only to be swept off her feet by France as he tells everyone to back off and respect her as one, and she's just there thinking "oh god, why does my face so hot and heart so fast all of a sudden"

Also uh yeah any ideas on France and Liechtenstein's relationship?

Honestly i was going to draw a small comic about that scenario but i don't have too much time as i start working so ill just add things about them!!! For me FraLiech is so cute in Cardverse but i want to add a bit of Shoujo spice in it so, ദ്ദി(˵ •̀ ᴗ - ˵ ) ✧

Francis is a crown Prince of Diamond, known for being this playboy lil shit who got himself to lots of problem because, well, considering he will become a King one day, he just though his freedom to fool around would end as soon as he's crowned (alas he would just say he found things boring because being melancholic seemingly would become out of character for the image he have in the public)

But despite this 'imperfect' behaviour of his, he's still adored by the peers and girls in this royal school since he's very good being this charming playful Prince that's kind.

Though it need to be known he's not really favoured by the nobility because of his 'image' since the motto of Diamond is like, "A diamond earns its sparkle from the pressure it endures" so he do got lots of whispers, gossips and the likes despite how hard he tried to be perfect. Basically this Prince always pushed to strive more than just enough because as he's going to be a King who represents the richest, flamboyant and vain Kingdom, he better be suited to carry the burden. (So ye you get why he can be a very mischievous and a huge playboy to cope)

Liech/Elise is a low born nobility who got pushed around by the high society in school. Though the school itself implemented how once students set their foot in the premise tittle should be shed, it's honestly can only be seen as suggestion often by the high rank nobility.

So one day she were bullied by her peers at the secret garden away from people to see , however, Francis just happen to be around to take a smoke (it's not allowed in the school premise, that's why he went there because nobody really go there) and helping Elise shoo'ing em away. Francis wasn't really care about Elise problem, though he do play around that he found those ladies who's bullying her were vulgar and foolish. Elise, being young and naive ofc fall for the Prince, albeit she also aware that there's no chance for them to be together because of their status. In the end though, i don't think something significant would happen between them when they were in school (at least not something to really progress their relationship romantically because at this age Francis don't really crave a serious relationship since he was aware how messy it is to pick a girl that one day would become a Queen so he pretty much just leave it his Father's vassal). Though Francis would help her around if things happen to her (Because it's would suit his 'kind and charming' image) but Francis graduate a year later and Elise stay as she's a first year. Years later Francis crowned and marrying Joan Who also used to be his personal Knight so she's also were in school. I would like to think she and Elise would have platonic friendship for a while and it's continue once Elise reach adulthood after graduating. They would have small tea parties from time to time, though Francis not often involved when the ladies have their own time. Years later, suddenly, Joan died. Struck with heavy grief, Francis mourn by himself while ignoring everything. His vassals beg for him to came out so he can quickly find a replacement for the Queen. Francis, out of spite, picking Elise, a woman with a very low status and have not much power in her family name to be his Queen.

So yeah, if im going to do RP about these two, i would probably have these as the premise lol.

Cardverse is just a fanon AU based on some designs Hima made a while back. It doesn't have anything canon story-wise like Magical Strike or some other Hetalia AUs, so usually fans just do their own thing. For the most part, people treat it like a high fantasy world, and very few details are shared by people writing it.

Most common, America and England rule Spades as king and queen (respectively), France and Liechtenstein rule Diamonds, Russia and Hungary rule Clubs, and Germany and Japan rule Hearts. Prussia and Sealand are jokers, but what Jokers are/do varies from fic to fic, headcanon to headcanon. I've seen more than one creator make Jokers act as some type of afterlife existence.

Some people change around who the kings and queens are, depending on what pairing the writer/artist ships usually. It's also common to combine it with omegaverse (partially to explain why men are queens but also just for fun). Tbh I don't think there's much to understand about it, since all the "rules" of the AU get shuffled depending on which creator/s you're following.

I had another Cardverse plot bunny idea yesterday, because of course I did.

Full disclaimer, it's not getting started anytime soon, I have a trip to go on and adulting to figure out after.

It would be called "The Queen and Her Aces", and would feature Erika (Liechtenstein) as she joins the Diamonds Court once her brother becomes the Jack. She immediately gets along with Francis and with Queen Jeanne, and her bond with Antonio is quite special indeed.

Erika gradually meets the Royals in the other three kingdoms, and begins close blonds with the other three Aces in turn (Matthew, Natalya, and Lovino). All the while, her bond with Antonio keeps getting deeper as well.

Then Jeanne dies, and Erika finds her Diamond Mark denoting her as the new Queen. As she learns to fulfill her new duties as Queen, Erika finds that her heart is torn in several directions, specifically towards each of the four Aces.

The ribbon’s colour changes with each monarch and is only issued during the life of each monarch. There is only one class of the royal family order. Each order is a miniature portrait with the monarch’s monogram on the back, surrounded by diamonds, suspended from a coloured ribbon. Female wearers wear the ribbon as a badge, while male wearers wear the ribbon as a medal.

Surprised, she backed away a few steps, but no sound came out of her open mouth as something about the individual struck her. His ears...and this giant tail, forming a diamound. His clothes looked ancient but elegant, oddly long, as if it was only made for beings that could fly like he was actually doing. But there was something else. She felt like she had some sort of ...connexion, to this creature. No, in fact, she felt like the connexion was like..restaured? "Could it be...no way...." she whispered. The weird dragon was still looking, not even fazed by her movements. He looked like something in between a contemplative painter and a cat asking for a hug. Maybe more like a cat, floating lazily and without much effort. His tail was holding a clock that would show exactly, she discovered after, the time it was in her kingdom. There was not many beings  that could fit such an odd description, Lili knew. But among all the stories she had ever read from the royal library, she would never though this long lost legend to be true. Her hand moved slowly forward, as if a little girl wanted to pet the wild cat that had just appeared, with cautious not to scare him. In response, the floating one bowed his head slowly, saluting his Queen with complete faith, but no contact was made, as some servants behind them started screaming. Lili saw the core of diamound taking altitude, flying around her, before escaping in the air, not once losing his stern look. Oh, she knew the best he wasn't scared at all by all the noise, may be just annoyed by the intempestive presence. But he was back where was his place, after so long... And as Francis her King came running to her, wearing a worried face, and asked what happened, she slowing turn to him and announced : "The Ace of Diamounds....he has returned." ' *** Here is a little sight of a story about Cardverse and the awakening of the 4 aces! Actually, seeing how long I put to draw a single piece of any of my project, I'm not sure I can do a whole fancomic about it, but at least I can draw some of the sceneries! * Diamonds : In the stories I've read so far, there's mostly stories about Spades ( I will just let "USUK" as an explanation of why! XD), and maybe a little with Hearts? I didn't saw one where the story was centered on Diamounds actually (except an Hetagame "Diamantalia"!), and among all the stories, Lili was really not a central character, if she may appear at all. I want to put each kingdom at the same place in that story; beginning by develloping my idea of diamounds. *Greece, Ace of Diamound : “Hé” is a lazy scaredy-cat Ace that can stay days floating in the same spot while making his siest. he isn’t as worse as Greece but he have more free time than a country though! Nothing seems to faze him or his face. And like a gigantic floating cat, he likes to be patted on the head by his Queen. The Kingdom of Diamound is the one of Nature, and Hé can, more than making things grow exponiancially, litteraly create a whole forrest and making it move from nothing! * King Francis and Queen Lili : May be people find that France and Liechtenstein is a weird couple, but I would say that in contrary it gives something interesting to the whole! Lili appears a frail young lady and Francis, as we saw with Jeanne d'Arc, can be a real gentleman that treats his ladies with care. But my vision of thing is more elaborate, so let me explain what I think happened on their background : Lili wasn't a noble, but was born with the mark and the magic power that would potentially make her a queen. (Potentially because she isn't alone in her case. I like the idea of Mother nature marking a future Queen, but not the one saying it's only one person, decided by fate! Let's have some choice! I will explain another time how Queen and Kings are actually chosen in much details !) So, among all the other pretendants, and despite her young age, she was chosen by Francis as she was pure, loyal, smart and cared about people. Also, she may have complete lack of knowledge about aristocracy (so she makes  mistake on the etiquettes), being a little shy in public (she will never be the one to speak loud before too many people) and may seem a little out of place sometimes hiding behind her charismatic husband, but she is actually quite sharp at noticing details and remaining calm, and her Jack knows better than anyone she is quite capable at her duty despite the wat she displays in public. I can't say Francis and Lili are in deep love because no, we can't say that, but their relation is sweet anyway so it's hard to tell for their people. They respect each other and they know they can count on the other one if something bad happens. They could even be mistaken as brother and sister sometimes, because they don't need to talk to understand each other and are quite accomplice. Francis being older (like I would say 7 years older because well, it's the middle age and I think they married when lili was around 16 and him 23!), he often guides her in her decision and teach her how to reign, even though they don't have the same role in their hierarchy. ( The rules wanting the King to be in charge of the need of the citizen and taking care of open international negociation, while the Queens have more secretive goals, studying magics to use it for the sake of the kingdom, but also controlling the undercover operation. In summary, the King is the bright side of the iceberg while the Queens are their shadows to make everything go smoothly, more or less depending on the kingdom) And no, I don't like the idea of an hidden romance between Francis and Arthur, it irks me! OuO Because they respect each other, neither him or Lili would ever go watch another woman/man (Well, not seriously, Francis actually likes to flirt with ladies to build a certain image of himself but he will never go too far. Besides, he appearing as frivolous is actually made on purpose so he can gain informations and relations  by seducing noble women who doesn't suspect it and think he's a Don Juan!! So his attitude is actually all strategic!) . In that they are quite old fashions! * One last thing about the kingdoms : Each have a magical speciality, and I choose that they would be the kingdom of nature and agriculture, being quite rich as they feed the 3 others kingdoms (with taxes, muahaha). Queens of Diamounds have the power to grow plants with their wills and accelerate the process, though Lili likes to garden like a common person most of the time. But the flowers of the Royal garden would only bloom once the Queen has been chosen! ***

Chosen Consequence

Characters: England, France/ FrUK, America, Canada, China, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, and Spain (thus far)

Summary: Seven years after being banished by the King, ex-Jack of Diamonds Arthur has been democratically elected as the new Queen of Spades. He, along with the rest of his Flush, aim to bring about some much stability after a cataclysmic event 5 years prior known as ‘The Winter of Ash’, a 6 month long period of darkness where thick clouds dropped ash on the Kingdoms, all stemming from the Kingdom of Hearts. No one has been able to get out alive ever since and it is considered too dangerous to venture across the borders.

It was contained, everything cautiously went back to normal, but as Arthur and Francis snip at each other across dinners and ballrooms dark clouds start to return, the ash begins to fall again, and Francis is definitely hiding something.
