So if the gemstones are new, they are probably London blue topaz which is the darkest of the three main blue topaz varieties. Natural blue topaz is extremely rare so any that you see in jewelry is colorless topaz that has been treated with heat or radiation to be a specific shade.

I would have called the previous ones sky blue topaz which is the lightest.

It's still possible that it's just a trick of the light so hopefully we get some better pictures soon.

I don't know! I can't decide if they are a new stone or if it's just the lighting making the blue topazes look really dark.

The more I look at them the more I think that they are too dark regardless of the lighting to be the blue topazes.
