And you have other Democrats running for office and judiciary seats, against Trump-loving Republicans who still openly support the January 6th insurrection.

And there are THIRTY ONE JUDGES on the ballot!

Vote for Robert Hillard Patillo, a Civil Rights Attorney running against Scot McAfee, the Kemp appointed judge overseeing the Trump trial.

Voting by itself isn’t the solution, but voting IS a necessary, yeah-you-gotta-do-it-every-fucking-time, part of the solution. Stated differently: your vote is necessary, but insufficient if you expect it to work miracles without local organizing and activism.

This post is way late, but the polls are open until 7pm. Please get out there and vote every single Republican candidate out of office.

📢 PSA on COD gif thief & edit reposter

just a heads up that the user @/staytrueblue has been caught stealing and reposting gif sets from call of duty gif and graphic makers. she has blocked people who have called her out on it. she excused her behavior by lying and saying she is "new to tumblr" — when other users have vetted she has been on this site since at least 2022.

examples and proof are below the cut.

when this individual was called out, they gave a half-assed apology and still seem convinced/entitled that they could repost entire gifsets with credit (also see below cut). they then blocked the original gifmaker and then began to make passive aggressive, snide comments toward those creators in their future posts.

this is why i encourage people to reblog from original gifmakers and graphic artists—not just liking posts—in order to support them. it's not fair that these plagiarists gather clout, followers, and interactions from work made by other people.

Up till now I'd thought there was no way to filter by item location on ebay, because that option never showed up for me in the sidebar, and I was super frustrated by it because most of the search results are from the U.S. and the shipping is SO EXPENSIVE.

But it turns out they DO have that option if I use ebay.ca instead of ebay.com? And it's functionally the same website in the same language, but the account I have on ebay.com doesn't work here, so I need to make a whole new account??? I think that's very stupid but I'm glad I can now search for only items within Canada.

Edit: Oh ok I can "link" the accounts, that seems more reasonable and more like they're still the same account.

Just figured I'd post this in case anyone else is having the same problem. Hopefully putting the specific letters for your country at the end of the url will rectify it!

Thin does not automatically equate to an eating disorder and you should refrain from throwing those accusations around

I was watching a video on a girl awhile ago and she struggled to gain weight and a lot of the comments weren't taking it seriously as in they didn't see it as a problem. And a couple people were saying things like "you know she throws up her food."

Even if someone looks pretty thin, it doesn't necessarily mean that an eating disorder is the reason why

There are individuals with a fast metabolism or those that have medical conditions like marfan syndrome or whatever the reason is

But some people throw anorexia or bulimia around because they're jealous of the person or as a "joke" and it's not okay

"Don't like, Don't read" but I think people gotta understand that that means friends too.

Your friends may not want to read certain content that you make. You shouldn't see that as a sign that they don't care about you or love you any less.

Even if they have seen or interacted with your other creations before, they may not want to see certain ones. Whether it's a ship they do not like, has their triggers, or whatever it may be, that's not an attack on you. You can have someone else look it over if you need to.

Nor does that mean that you have to cater to your friends for them to care about you or stop creating that content! Friends don't pressure other friends to stop creating what they enjoy. Put up boundaries or drop them, if that's the case.

Either way, continue to make your good shit regardless!

From what I understand this is already being implemented for Americans, with no opt-out option, but there is apparently a form you can fill in to ask them to remove all your data.

For us in the EU, we can fill in a form to object to our stuff being added, but there are some things we need to pay extra attention to:

Meta has to approve of the objection — meaning that sending it in doesn't necessarily mean it will go through

In the country they want the ISO country code (e.g. SE for Sweden). I read that someone got it to work by writing Italy rather than Italia, but I am unsure if that works for all countries

EVEN IF YOUR OBJECTION IS APPROVED, YOUR STUFF CAN BE ADDED TO META AI IF SOMEONE WHO HASN'T OBJECTED TO META AI SHARE YOUR POST/IMAGES TO THEIR PAGE

A verification code will be sent to your email, so make sure you write in the email you use for fb correctly and be prepared to check the spamfolder

It's supposed to be implemented the 26th of June here, so do it asap

I don't know what the situation about this is for people outside EU, so if you happens to know please add to this with whatever information you have!

Check the notifications on your fb account and you should find one from Meta with all the relevant links there!

I will also copy what I wrote in the form into the comments on this post (for easy copying) in case someone doesn't have the spoons to write their own reasons. It's far from perfect but it's better than not doing it at all.

Also I don't know if this includes Instagram, I couldn't see anything about it over there, but I imagine it does or will soon enough, so keep your eyes open for that too.

EDIT: If you're still having problems, it might help to switch from "Save/Save as" to "Export (as a) Single Layer". Just. Make SURE the box labeled "Expression Color" is set to RGB. I've been messing with this all day, and it looks like this combination of settings will allow exported PNGs to maintain their colors perfectly. To you. So far both Discord and Toyhouse still only display desaturated images and I cannot for the life of me figure out why

This is a friendly reminder to never, ever publish your book with a publishing company that charges you to publish with them. That is a vanity press, which makes money by preying on authors. They charge you for editing, formatting, cover art, and more. With most of these companies, you will never seen a cent of any royalties made from sale of your book. A legitimate publishing company only makes money when you make money, they will never charge you to publish with them. If a company approaches you and says "Hey, we'll publish your book, just pay us X amount of money," tell them to go fuck themself and block them.
