There's a lot of fandoms I don't leave – World of Darkness and Warhammer 40k predominantly as settings I always have another angle I want to see explored in!

I do however have the Magic the Gathering bug, even though I haven't really played in years and years now – but card interaction as a generation for narrative has always kind of captivated me? Like there's a couple big mean Ogre cards that make Rats more dangerous, but due to the way the systems work they also empower the Ratfolk of Kamigawa, the Nezumi, as they count as 'Rat' cards still. So big Ogre spellcasters improving Rat people as part of a contained bit of narrative kind of fascinates me as a concept.

Plus each deck presupposes a Planeswalker character who's casting those spells – and I was always intrigued by that notion and so most of my OCs are representative of decks I played (or wanted to :P) and then in turn each Planeswalker needs a Plane to come from, probably from a still existing culture on that Plane too, and so it can kind of wonderfully reverberate inspiration.

Like how every VTM Kindred OC presupposes a Sire!

I'm making a TTRPG!! It's a Powered by the Apocalypse engine game, about serving as the primary field agents of a faction of people who need your support and protection. Because if you're going to be a hero, who are you doing it for if not your kin?

Setting agnostic as hell, excluding some implicit need for magic in the class moves – I'm prepping to playtest this in sci-fi and fantasy settings to see how well my mechanics hold up in both swords and firearms based stories. Plus I'm going to explore a variety of perspectives of what the faction can be – from ethnic groups, to gangs, to guilds, to neighbourhoods.

THOUGHTS WHILE WATCHING GILMORE GIRLS: SEASON 3, EPISODE 3-“Application Anxiety"

I'm once again going to need my mutuals to tell me if they see this on their dashboard. It occured to me that I'd suddenly experienced a massive memory black-out about what happens in S3 between episode 3 and up to the Dance Marathon. And I fancy myself pretty knowledgable about season 3. In addition to Francie and her squad, I'm assuming that the truly insane number of new characters that are intoduced in s3-Alex, Nicole, Lindsay, Dave Rygalski and the other members of Hep Alien and probably more I'm forgetting- may all be introduced in this span of time? It's going to be a jam packed roller coaster ride of new people. Soo jammy. Oh god, and I just remembered LIZ. Does she make her debut in season 3 or 4? I don't know. I fear it may be season 3. Have mercy on poor Salty. I'm scared. Fun fact: I was on YouTube recently, and rediscovered an early 2000's MTV cartoon called 3South, a truly absurd work of art about a pair of idiot college students. This is the type of stuff I was watching while the rest of the Youth at the time were watching...Gilmore Girls. Anyway I heard an an unmistakable voice and realized it was none other than Kathleen Wilhoite (Liz Danes) playing.... a raging alcoholic who frequently gets run over by cars.

This episode is called "Application Anxiety". The Netflix synopsis hints at the introduction of the fandom's fave, and also the favorite snack of the Male Gilmore Girls Character California Wormhole, Rygalski. Other than that, mayhaps we have a sort of filler episode on our hands here. I can remember the events of most S3 episodes by their title, but this one isn't ringing any bells, besides the fact that Rory and Paris must, uh, be anxious about college applications. I call anything "filler" that doesn't involve a lot of man or boy drama. The episode opens with Lorelai and Rory snarking on some more corny entertainment from the days of yore, this time some kind of Brady Bunch variety hour. Fine. It's at least more fun and modern than "Shane" and Andy Hardy, it's recognizable to the masses watching GG, it's in color, and they're having fun watching it. Two...no, three...no FOUR observations:

1.Lorelai keeps a picture of Sookie and Jackson on her living room end table 2. The mailman, Eddie, walks through their open door and directly into their home without knocking or announcing himself to deliver the mail. Rory and Lorelai don't blink at the intrusion. Eddie looks like a catch, Lorelai. Steady government job. Enjoys sticking his package into slots. Has no respect for privacy or personal boundaries. You love that shit. Go for it. 3.Clown Pillow. 4.Lorelai's shirt. CUUTE.

I let my guard down for mere seconds.

"Holmes & Yoyo is an American comedy television series that aired on ABC for 13 episodes during the 1976-1977 season. The series follows police detective Holmes and his new android partner, Yoyo, on their misadventures investigating crimes." You have GOT to be fucking kidding me, AmyShermanPalladino. At least I've heard of HeeHaw.

Rory looks like a scared little mouse holding her Harvard application. Rory references a book she's been reading called Dead Souls. I looked it up. "Dead Souls is a novel by Nikolai Gogol, first published in 1842, and widely regarded as an exemplar of 19th-century Russian literature. The novel chronicles the travels and adventures of Pavel Ivanovich Chichikov (Russian: Павел Иванович Чичиков) and the people whom he encounters. These people typify the Russian middle aristocracy of the time." Some light reading right there. When I tell you Lorelai (not Rory) nearly has an orgasm holding the Harvard envelope (it's not Rory's acceptance/rejection letter, it's just the application itself). She needs to get laid by someone who isn't Crusty. #AlexAlexAlex A moment later Rory and Lorelai are in the kitchen going over the application. Lane suddenly barges into the kitchen out of nowhere, states her dilemma in under a minute, then immediately exits. Bye? I feel like we haven't seen Lane in a while, but now we're going to get a lot of her this season. Lane is planting the seeds for Hep Alien and has placed a "Drummer seeks Rock Band" classified ad in the paper (how quaint). I just saw Adam Brody's name in the opening credits, so it's almost Rygalski Time. I like Dave, I really do. But I guess I just don't assign him the God- like status some people do. I only worship one deity and it's Jesstopher Mariano. And he's a fucking full time job.

Rory is drinking a can of Hansen's brand soda. The brand apparently still exists, although I have never seen it in the wild. I'm thinking Hansen's sponsored this show or something because this is all Rory ever drinks soda wise, including at the Chilton cafeteria, along with her favorite sandwich of two slices of white bread with nothing in between. And a better shot of Loreai's shirt. I want one.

Lorelai says this in reference to the application asking for Rory's picture (is that actually a thing?) Ladies and gentlemen, TWO Modern Entertainment references (the caption cut off Spongebob). Back on her home planet, AmyShermanPalladino must have just signed up for the ultra deluxe premium Earth cable package that included Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon. Welcome to the early 21st century. Straight off of Harvard's own website, from their archives, dated October 3rd, 1958: "The University will not require photographs from any applicants to the Medical School, the Law School, and the College this year. This decision was made in compliance with the Massachusetts Commision against Discrimination's December, 1957 ruling that all schools in the state must stop requesting pictures from applicants." Yes, since 1957 it has been literally illegal for colleges in Massachussets to ask for photos from applicants. Carry on.

Who's "they"? Luke knows Lorelai, and Dean Forrester's mom doesn't acknolwedge she has a son so she can't care if he drinks coffee. Where is the display stand of Doritos that used to be behind Luke? Is there a Dorito shortage in Stars Hollow? There is little else to make life in Stars Hollow worth living.

Dean's chores: Whacking off to pictures of Lorelai, hogging oxygen from more deserving people, stacking cans of corn at Doose's.

Rory doesn't know anything about jobs. Full time, part time, hand, blow...none of it.

Oh god. Not another negotiation! What is Rory going to agree to this time in exchange for Dean agreeing to a movie she wants to see?

Dean was actually paying attention to Rory when she discussed her plans for the weekend? That was a plot twist I never saw coming. Me keeping my little eye on Dean because he's acting a bit too nice right now

Rory informs Dean she is going to write her college essay about Hilary Clinton.

WHAT? DEAN IS BEING SUPPORTIVE? HE'S UP TO SOMETHING. At first I was going to put my money on Dean making a sexist remark about women in poltiics, then I thought he won't because he doesn't even know who Hillary Clinton is and he'll probably ask Rory, because he has melted crayons for brains, and I was right. Rory asks Dean if he's ever watched Hilary speak and we come to find he only knows who she is because of Rory's insistence that he watch her speeches.

I'll give you this one Deano. That sounds like literal hell on earth and I'm sorry you had to endure that. Even you don't deserve that. I hope Rory at least gave you some handjobs for that one (she didn't) Still a long 14 years away from the 2016 presidential election fiasco, Rory speaks of Ms Clinton's future in politics with sunny optimism. Nobody tell her. Dean tut tuts and shakes his head while Rory talks about Hilary but he appears to be listening and keeping his trap shut, so that's a first. Rory skips out the door without paying for her breakfast as per yoozh, leaving Dean to pick up the tab. Luke strolls by the table. L:She's fast. D: It's the coffee. L: Not your face? Hahahahahaha!! GET HIM LUKE! She has picked up a nice fear-sprint in the two years she's been dating Dean though. Making a quick exit is a vital survival skill when you're dating a serial killer psycopath. Luke looks out the window to see Taylor photographing the building in a suspicious manner. Cut to Chilton and Paris is having another nuclear panic-meltdown over the non-perfection of some school related mumbo jumbo. Rory and Paris are hosting a seminar at school about the college application process.

Both some college admissions reviewer dork attending the seminar and Paris agree that writing essays about Hilary Clinton is passe. Admissions Dork says reading so many essays about Hilary Clinton is making his head explode. Paris says nobody over the age of 12 would write about Hilary Clinton. IMMEDIATE rejection to Harvard if you write your essay about Hilary Clinton. If you write your essay about Hilary Clinton, some goons from Harvard will visit your home in the middle of the night and break your kneecaps. You're fucked, RoryGil. This is a deeper and more detailed version of the 20 questions for AO3 fanfic writers. @nottawriter hit me with a tag, I have been attacked lol.

1) How do you keep getting ideas for your ship / fandom? A dash of shower thoughts, with a pinch of I watched a movie and couldn't help but think... Yes, that will work. They often feel like the come from nowhere.

2) Which authors inspire you in your fandom, and why are they so freakishly good? That's not fair how dare you ask me this!!!! Uhhh I'm mostly reading Supercorp stuff these days sooo... @jazzfordshire, @mycatismyeditor, @fazedlight, @innamorament0, @scribblingpunk, @fyonahmacnally to name a few. AAAAND my co-author and a vast array of things @tomatopudding! Why? Idk, I just get drawn a lot to these works and think they're lovely, and I love their depictions of these characters I love.... with @tomatopudding we just vibe very well, sharing the same five brain cells helps.

3) Aside from the characters of your main ship, who are the characters you love to write? If we're talking Supergirl... That's so hard, but I might have to say Brainy and Nia if really pressed... and Alex. I really enjoy Alex.

Otherwise, my other faves include all of the Les Amis from Les Miserables (if you know you know), specifically Courfeyrac and Marius and their hilarious dynamic. Other faves include Eliza Schuyler-Hamilton, Eponine Thenardier and... This could go on for a very long time, are you sure you have time?

4) Are there pairings or tropes you know for sure you’d never write about? Which ones? Not putting Kara and Lena together just makes me sad... So Supercorp ftw all the way, they are my top (I am a lot more amenable in other fandoms I've written for)

Tropes... I'm unlikely to do Omega-verse, I haven't done it and I can't see myself starting even if I sometimes read it.

5) What is your writing process and why is it cursed?

When I worked in retail I wrote on stupid little scraps and probably lost about 75% of them. Sometimes the method is hand writing, and then typing and making edits during that process as well. The handwritten can vary drastically from the typed draft lol.

I tend to fly by the seat of my pants unless someone is keeping me in line. I'm pretty darn chaotic.

I doubt myself a lot, so I always think whatever I write is garbage no matter how much proof there is that's not true. Also, sometimes I get burnt out, or my muse dies and then I feel terrible. Yay.

6) What is your favorite part of your writing process? Falling down rabbit holes, looking into fun topics. Likely ending up on a government watch list for the stuff I've searched up over the years

7) What’s the weirdest thing you’ve had to research for a fic? Uhhh.... hmm. I have no idea what the weirdest is lol. Cause it's on my mind, probably looking up what types of wood are easiest to chop, and why. (There is definitely weirder, but I don't remember right now).

8) Is there a particular writing rule you struggle with (grammar, spelling, tense, reality in general)? Commas. They hate me, and I hate them.

9) What was your hardest scene to write so far and why? Oof. Uhhh... This is so hard! Honestly there is a lot of stuff in my co-written very long series Hamilton Family Album that was *a lot* between research and feels.

Especially when you're co-author hits you with unexpected feels out of nowhere that you weren't anticipating (YOU KNOW WHAT YOU DID).

10) Have your characters ever done something you didn’t expect, changing your plot completely? Of course, they have. It happens all the time.

11) If you could converse with any of the characters, who would it be and why? Ohhh... Hands down Kara and Lena, I wish they could be my friends and we could hang out. Why? I think that they are absolutely incredible, wonderful and I could just sing their praises for ever.

12) What are some of the tropes or themes that you find yourself returning to in your writing? Oooo, I'm a sucker for fluffy romances, and I've been dabbling in smut recently. Other themes for me can be like found family is a really popular one for me.

Since I've written both a lot of Les Mis and Hamilton stuff (among other similar things) I've done a lot of "Modern AU's" as well, which are uhhh varied to say the least. If I can treat anything they way the treat most Shakespeare pieces these days I do it.

13) What’s your most important resource as a writer? Asking for help! Soundboarding with other writers, I love doing it. It helps me make sense of my ideas... Or decide they're maybe too out there (almost never lol)

14) Can you share some of your strategies for editing and revising your work? Reading it out loud, I have a hard time noticing errors otherwise. Asking someone you trust to look it over as well, take your time and double and triple check if you're unsure about something.

15) Which is worse: making the summary, picking the tags, or the anxiety when you post your fic? D. All of the Above

16) How do you define success for your fanfic - hits? Kudos? Comments? Bookmarks? Or just if you like it? I try to just write for myself, usually because I haven't seen something like it and think it should exist. I do really enjoy getting comments if only because I'm always curious to hear what readers think about my work.

17) Do you have a playlist for your favorite character / ship? I don't, and if I did it would be odd... I'm the most massive theater nerd. I do have songs that I think fit the vibes, and some shows I listen to have more apt things than others. Or if it's Les Mis it's the whole dang album lol.

The thing I'd love to see art for isn't up yet and I just think it would be fun but it will be called What Was I Made For... And we're gonna leave at that for now.

19) How many WIPs do you currently have? I'm finishing up You've Got New Followers (One chapter left!), I think three other WIP's (two more plotted than others) and my WIP for May-Hem... So five?

20) What’s your advice to new fanfic writers? Don't be afraid just because you've never done it before. That's why fanfic is amazing. You can do what you want and in reality no one can stop you, just make sure you're having fun.

How many times would you guess you watched the first back to the future movie?

Since I only hopped on this time train towards the final third of the year lol: fully all the way through, at least 4! Otherwise I've jumped around a lot while looking for clips and references and stuff. So if I stitch all those together, then we'll say approx 5ish :) The first movie is my favorite one!

Did you create any bttf fanart or fanfic? If you did, what one(s) are you proudest of?

Yes I did !!! It is actually the most fan content I've ever made for a fandom since I was in... maybe junior high? So like YUH. Tbh, it's very difficult for me to find what you would call 'pride' in my art so ehh >_>; that being said, I do think that I had a lot of good IDEAS for Doctober (esp days 19 and 28), but my execution wasnt really the best. I would have liked to draw days 17 and 24 (+ time travel day) a little more properly too; like, I'm not as disappointed at how they turned out, but I still wish they were better and/or I could have given them more time. The ones I most actually-tried-and-dont-mind are days 7, 9, and 21 + under the sea dance day. (So many links was probably cheating but tbf I've kinda bent the rules for the past few questions so... whatevs lol). I've ALSOOO still been working on my godforsaken essay, it is 40 pages rn but even tho it's not done, I'm INSANELY proud of it Q_Q

How many times were you late for school this year?

None! B) For one thing I'm graduated lol, but also I'm typically early gang. I'm that person who'd sit in the classroom by myself for like 5 minutes before everyone else would show up LMBO ^^;

Yess I did!! A... lot actually :0 Most of them were by chance/pre bttf era, but still :P Here is my list as well as I could find, sorry it is soooo long, but what are ya gonna do:

Star Wars/The Mandalorian; The Addams Family (1991); The Tale of Desperaux (2008); Cyberchase; & Clue (1985) -- Christopher Lloyd, havent rewatched the latter 3 since I was a kid and literally went :0 to learn he apparently was in them. Also Kings Quest (2015) which isn't a movie/show but I think it counts uwu

Stuart Little (1999) -- Michael J. Fox, which also rocked my world to discover O_O like hearing it now I'm like "yeah thats him alright" but as a kid I would never have been able to tell you that was the same guy from that time travel movie, despite watching both way too much LMBO

Elf (2003) & Last Vegas (2013) -- Mary Steenburgen, nothing much to say except that she slayed ^_^

Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron (2002) & Curious George (2006) -- apparently these have Donald Fullilove (Goldie Wilson) in them? Same w Jason Scott Lee (Whitey) in Lilo & Stitch (2002)??? And Star Wars/Kenobi show apparently had Flea (Needles)????? ...HUH.

I binged both the entirety of Law and Order: SVU as well as Seinfeld this year w my sister; apparently Mary Steenburgen, Lea Thompson, & Casey Siemaszko (3-D) are in at least one episode of the former, while Elsa Raven (Clocktower Lady) and Ricky Dean Logan (Data) are apparently in a random episode of Seinfeld each. So like, technically I saw them, tho I don't distinctly remember it :'D Also, I have been making my way through Little House on the Prairie recently, which has Matt Clark (Chester the Bartender) in a few episodes !

Finally finally finally, I watched I Don't Feel at Home in This World Anymore (2017), as well as the LOTR trilogy like. Twice? And they all have Elijah Wood of course >:3c

None in the wild, no :P But I did end up being in the top 0.1% of listeners for Huey Lewis this year... so UHHHHH take that as u will LMBO

Nooo, I didn't even know it existed until like October !!! It looks super fun but atm/last I checked it doesn't come to where I live so :( I should listen to the soundtrack soon!

If you could describe your year in a BTTF quote, which one would it be?

The year in general is definitely "Oh great, the atrocity channel!" LMBO (but when hasn't it been since like... 2020? 2016???). For me personally, I think it's either "I don't know if I could take that kind of rejection." or "Don't talk to anyone, don't touch anything, don't do anything, don't interact with anyone, and try not to look at anything." ^^;

1. Who or what got you into F1?

Basic bitch answer but my dad. He was a big fan, and his dad was a fan. I was plonked infront of the TV to watch it as a kid, and grew up never missing a race. That was until Sky Sports braught it off chanel 4, and now my family can't afford to watch it anymore. I have to pirate it now coz I AINT PAYING 50 A MONTH go fuck yourself Sky Sports.

2.Who was the very first F1 driver you supported? Do you support them now? Have your opinions on them differed or stayed the same since then?

Probably Lewis? Or Jenson? I was (still am) a Mclaren fan as a kid, and my dad always cheered on English drivers, so I just copied him. I still love them both now, my opinions havn't changed on them at all!

3.Who’s your current favourite F1 driver?

Current grid? Probably Max, Fernando or Oscar. They are all so so talented, it's just a pivalidge to watch them drive. I think they're all really funny in their own ways too.

My favourite driver ever? Senna, obviously. Or Prost.... Can't ever pick.

4.Is there a driver pairing or pairings you support? What made you attracted to that pairing in the first place?

I support all and any pairings. F1 RPF in all forms is delicious thankyou. My faves are: Prost X Senna, Carlos X Lando, Max X Charles, Peroni X Villeneuve, George X alex, Mika X Michael, and Nigel X Elio.

The only ship I don't really vibe with is Pierre X Charles? Like idk I just don't feel it. But I'll still read it so lol

5. Do your parents, siblings or relatives have a favourite team and/or favourite driver(s)?

My dad supports Mclaren same as me. My sister isn't really into it? She finds charles hot and will watch edits of him but shes never watched a race or really gives a shit about the actual driving. Shes here for the thirst traps and Ferrari merchandise and I respect that so much.

6. Do you have any favourite races? Are there any that stand out to you the most?

Dallas, Texas 1984. What a fucking shit show. Absolute comedy sketch. Everything about that dumb race is so funny to me.

7. Do you have a favourite circuit? Can be from the past or from the current calendar.

Hungaroing! It was the first F1 race I ever attended, and the joy I get out of watching it and screaming 'IVE BEEN THERE IVE BEEN THERE' never leaves. The first race in person was special, so hungaoring is special now too.

8. Have you ever been to an F1 race in real life? Feel free to tell us your experience going to one if you like

Yes. And I don't know why but I was so shocked at how friendly everyone was. I think I was expecting it to be like football, but everyone got along so well no matter the teams ect. I always get general admission now, because its so much fun to sit and make new friends with other F1 freaks!!! Everyone shares food, alcohol, blankets, brollies ect- its alwaus such a good atmosphere at everywhere I've been.

9. Have you ever met an F1 driver in real life?

Yes. Seb and Jenson. In the same day. I nearly exploded, but actually managed to come off very normal and composed.

10. Do you have a favourite F1 car? If so, what is it?

McLaren MP4/4 1988.

so jeremy is like... very clearly the angry young man trope right. he is Looking for an excuse to get in trouble, to get in a fight. he doesn't let bullshit fly and he doesn't take anyone's shit. except... for patrick's. patrick gets to tell him he's being annoying. patrick gets to tell him he's a ball hog. if anyone else said that he'd fly off the handle. but patrick gets MAYBE an off-the-cuff "shut the fuck up" and then otherwise he doesn't say anything. the one time he actually raises his voice at patrick is when alex gets hurt. meanwhile patrick has the patience to let jeremy get away with stuff that no one else lets him get away with. he makes a bet with him and jeremy's not even worried about it because he knows patrick won't actually make him pay up. patrick is the only one able and allowed to call jeremy out on his shit because he knows that patrick doesn't mean it in a bad way - in fact patrick's probably the only person to see him for who he really is and accept him like that. and jeremy's the only one patrick will ever talk to that way because it's how he lets jeremy KNOW he sees him, he understands him, and he'll take him flaws and all.

i don't really think that much about her tbh. i mostly think that as every other girlfriend she gets a lot of hate for literally just existing which is mostly rooted in misogyny. you have to be deeply delusional as a fan to believe you could ever have a chance with your fave lmao and just because she managed to do it thanks to the right connections it still doesn't mean you get to hate on her just because she's your celebrity crush's girlfriend. be so for real and touch some grass

of course she did some problematic stuff in the past (though still """less""" problematic than what taylor did, at least from what i know), but that still doesn't justify people going on her socials and bashing on her every chance they get. you are entitled to your own opinion about her and obviously you can dislike her - but still, without sending her hateful comments/messages.

personally i don't really love her, but i don't hate her either. as i said, she did some problematic stuff in the past - although cancel culture is a problem in and of itself; she deserves at least a chance to redeem herself, and i want to give her the benefit of the doubt and believe she understood what she did was wrong and learnt from her mistakes. still, that doesn't mean we should forget about her wrongs and defend her at all costs like cringe amtwitter does

but strictly speaking of her relationship with alex... the reason i don't like them that much is that from what we've seen of their relationship it doesn't exactly seem to be the healthiest thing. first of all because of the nasty way it started, and by that i mean him cheating on taylor - which i think is safe to say is probably what happened, and if it is, then that was very very yikes of both alex and louise. also the fact that she used to be a fan and idealised him as well as his relationship with alexa (huge power imbalance + her most likely trying to hide her true personality to fit his "aesthetic") and in general the fact that they really... don't seem to have that much chemistry with each other? they look cute together, sure, but they really don't seem to bring out the best in each other, if that makes sense. there are like three (3) pictures of alex where she's in close proximity and he doesn't look like he wants to be kicked in the balls and die on the spot. they just seem very... boring. and bored with each other, also.

but then again, we really don't know what they're like in private. we don't know them personally so we don't know how their relationship with each other works. maybe it's perfect and straight out of a fairy tale! maybe they're actually in love even if they usually look miserable when close to each other! who knows, right? my point is: alex is a grown man and if for whatever reason he chooses to stay with her, then so be it, regardless of what we as fans might think. if she makes him happy, then as a fan of him that's all i care about.

I'd like to? I do love reading fics that include Spanish dialogue. But my second language (Tagalog) is kinda useless for this? 😂 You'd think it'd be helpful cause it uses a lot of Spanish words/phrases, but it's too much of a different language overall to be of any use. (lol I'll read fics with Spanish dialogue and randomly be amused when I recognize a word that's the same in Tagalog - "I know that word!!!")

first of all, you're my first ever ask, i got SO excited!! i have to say that i couldn't think of answers to some of these so i just left them out.

- i don't have one specific ice cream flavour i prefer, but i probably get pistachio and stracciatella the most.

- i only got interested in f1 halfway through 2023 and didn't have the opportunity to watch a lot of races, so the majority of my feelings regarding the drivers are based on sympathy. as is pretty obvious from my blog, i think, my favourite drivers are charles, oscar and alex. lando is definitely up there too.

- why are they my favourites? i will hold back from going into way too detailed analyses of these people and just say i like their personalities, as far as we get to see them from our limited perspective as fans. for alex and charles especially, i admire their resilience and strength. for oscar, i admire his calmness and level-headedness. these are all traits i don't have and kind of look up to them for.

- i would love to go to ireland and/or scotland!! i was actually supposed to go on a course trip to ireland with my english class in 11th grade, but then the pandemic started and that plan tragically failed.

- about driver pairings, i really enjoy lando and oscar as well as charles and carlos. i obviously enjoy reading rpf about these pairs, but aside from that based on the little i've seen so far i really like their team dynamics and find them incredibly entertaining and the most likable in combination with each other.

- i wanted to become a vet when i was little! that lasted until i was about 14 and realized i can't even watch a tv show about vets without bawling my eyes out when they have to put down a pet. i'm a student rn and i plan to either go into publishing or become a librarian later on.

- my favourite animals are, very boringly so, dogs. they're great. my family had one for 15 years and he was a delight to have around. i also really like horses (yes, i took horse riding lessons for ten years, thank you so much for asking). wolves are pretty cool. and snow leopards.

My Favorite Astoria Kiss CGs

Alex:

THIS CG is one of my top favorites of theirs in general, the art is just gorgeous, they're being so casually intimate, MC is moving into their apartment, the little deer she's had since she was a kid is with her.... so soft, so sweet. Eternally a fave. It's the background of every computer I use at work when I log in. When I worked on day shift at my job, my supervisor saw me changing my background so he took away the ability to set backgrounds on the computers for everyone.... but I can still manually go to the photo and set it as background so check mate, boss, Alex x MC will reign supreme for all time <3333 The perfect computer tile background AND the perfect photo in general, I love EVERYTHING about it

Hydra:

MY ICON!!! At the time of posting this anyways. They're so cute, their expressions so serene. Hydra's gentle (but firm) hold..... this art is so pretty, I could legit stare at it for hours and not get tired.. It's so soft and pretty and the colors are so vibrant, they really make this CG come to life <333

Medusa:

What's better than snuggling in bed and kissing in the morning light? Nothing!!!! And they know it, look at them!!!!! Their sleep-tousled hair, MC's hand gripping into Medusa's.... Medusa holding her close.... perfection <3 Also a sifentoe that MC's underwear are just. really cute. I love the underwear-sleepshirt combo.

Astraeus:

It was hard to pick between this and Astraeus' first CG, but DAMN if this one doesn't take my breath away Every Single Time. The lighting, the positioning, MC in her cool armor, the way theyr'e sitting together.... Oh, I love them so much <33333 Everything about this is just too good, too amazing, too wonderful <3

Cerberus:

Look at this. Look at the glow of the sun haloing them. Their first kiss, before they're even together. It's a cover but you can't even tell just by looking at it because they're both that into it, they both want it as much as the other. It's MC taking the lead, you can tell- her arms wrapped around Cerberus' neck, while his own are at her back to keep her steady. Augh. AUGH!!!!! They're already so in love it's insane!!!! <3

Hades:

THIS ONE IS SO CUTE WAAAAH!!!!! MC is so short compared to Hades that he has to bend over a little to kiss her... the background is so pretty, it sets the mood so nicely.... but most importantly.... SHE'S HOLDING ONTO HIS LAPELS!!!!!!! Iconic <3 Will never get enough of them. Will never get over the LAPELS!!!!!!!!!!! The lapels. The lapels!!!!!!!! I'm obsessed. MC probably is, too, it's fine.

Chimera:

This one is probably tied for my favorite Chimera CG in general. THE STRADDLING. The straddling. Need I say more? No. Will I? Yes. THEY'RE SO CUTE, MC's outfit is to DIE FOR and I don't think this particular outfit shows up in any other CG??? She's so cute though and I'm so weak. Chimera is, too, look at him. He's a goner. Relatable.

unfortunately i couldn’t finish my halloween connor drawing for this year, i started my own tradition of making a piece of connor w tate’s skull makeup every year, & i wanted this year’s to be even more elaborate bUT i didn’t have much time ( or motivation ) .

i also had in mind to finish it for dia de muertos , but i thought it wouldn’t be rlly fitting to make a drawing of a white american for that 🧍🏻🧍🏻 ( was going to make one of miguel & connor to at least use one (1) mexican character LMFAO but again , couldn’t find the energy )

SOO take con’s corpse bride post as this years halloween post <3

AND here’s some headcanons to make up for it ! ( for my own version of connor )

- i believe connor wouldn’t enjoy halloween as much now that he’s older & he’s gone through all the consequences of his past actions . he would stay at home under a million blankets , listen to the kids laugh & ask for candy with melancholic nostalgia & try not to cry his eyes out . he misses when he used to take zoe trick or treating with silly matching costumes & make her give him all her sour candy ( in exchange , he would give her the coconut ones )

- throughout my lore , connor meets various characters that could be considered friends ( i write as connor , & the friends are usually my writing partner’s oc’s or other canon characters for crossovers ) some that he’s grown very close to & he would def go have some fun with , but he would still feel very melancholic during halloween , & prob walk around with a very sullen expression & ask to leave early bc he’s just not doing well .

- my version of zoe is very resentful towards connor , but she looks back to their halloween memories with fondness , so she would probably come home & leave some sour candy for connor to find on his door .

- connor’s costumes would consist of characters from very niche source materials or from classic films . i once dressed him up as alex delarge ( from clockwork orange , matching with tate , since i hc that it’s his fave film & novel ) frank - n - furter ( self - indulgent since it’s my fave film , but unrealistic since connor is very insecure of his body so a revealing costume wouldn’t rlly be his go to ) & this year corpse bride mostly for the ship art & character design ( wouldn’t be canon in the lore since the movie didn’t even exist in the 90’s ) he would also prob do pun halloween costumes or use the ‘ this is my costume ‘ shirt .

- in conclusion , connor thinks of halloween with excitement , but his demons are far too strong for him to be able to enjoy it now .

SEE this is such a hard question bc i've been so bad at reading x reader and i've read SO much stucky so i'm gonna rec some of both. i have a terrible memory so i'm probably just going to do from the last few months or ones that really stood out bc i could tell you maybe 3 fics i've read this year off the top of my head

forever and always will scream from the rooftops to read time after time by @intrepidacious. the massive amount of work nika has but into this story and its intricacies have me literally in awe and it is one of my favorite fics i've ever read

rising tide by @pellucid-constellations is one of my favorite steve fics and we all know i love a good au so surfer!steve is such a treat

after and the garden boy @wkemeup were another couple favorites. i absolutely adore all of kas’s work but if we're talking about ones i've read just this year, these are great

Rules: List five things you never get tired of writing. It can be tropes, themes, characters, phrases, whatever brings you joy. Then tag five people!

@cha-melodius tagged me to share my five things - thank you! This was one I really had to think about!

1. Banter - I have a lot of fun writing dialogue, sometimes when I write I get all the dialogue for a scene down first and then come back to fill the rest of it in, and I especially love writing playful banter between my faves. The underlying banter and snark that all of favourite pairings (David & Patrick, Alex & Henry, TK & Carlos) have is part of why I love them so much!

2. The italicised oh - It speaks for itself really, who doesn’t love getting to that moment of realisation?

3. “Oh no I caught feelings” - this is probably wrapped up in that “oh” moment a little bit, but it’s so much fun to write them being a little oblivious to what is painfully obvious to everyone around them.

4. Looking at my fics, I clearly enjoy writing a FWB to lovers story and it’s probably related to my love of writing oblivious idiots who fall in love and don’t realise it.

5. Feelings - I just really love writing about love and the different ways that might manifest when a person looks at or thinks about their partner or feels seen by the person they love. Give me all the little domestic, intimate moments as well as the Moments.

sexuality headcanon: abstain. i can't even begin to parse what's going on with ben. gay man?? maybe??? but he did have a crush on juliet that one time (presumably the writers were setting up something with his dead wife—annie? idk she only existed in the writers' minds—but they forgor 💀 so "you look just like her" could only be about his dead mother, the literal only other important woman in ben's life. i'm not going to unpack all that). i dont think hes ever come close to a romantic relationship. i think he and john locke had an awful sexual encounter in jacob's cabin on december 25 2004
