Color Code Cross Guild and make sure the three didn't have same Theme Colors #Like Mihawk's dark magenta got switched out for yellow for some god forsaken reason #And I can only imagine that's because Buggy is already themed with the color red (not just the nose but his outfit too) #And the color red is lowkey representative of the main leadership position in OP #(Saw a post the other day about how Luffy wears red when he's the captain of his ship) #(But when he abandons his duties as a captain to go save Ace he wears yellow in Marineford) #(And yellow is the color he's associated with as one of the ASL brothers. So he goes save Ace not as a captain but as a brother) #IDK why they picked YELLOW for Mihawk of all fucking colors but my point is #If they wanted to do the main Primary Colors for Cross Guild then I GUESS making Crocodile's vest blue makes sense #And I guess going magenta -> yellow and green -> blue makes the most sense??? #But yeah considdering green is ARGUABLY Crocodile's theme color I think it would've made more sense if they had kept it #(Like yes he wears that orange vest + blue in his Alabasta outfit and Marineford is like. #maybe it's just me but I always got the impression that the primary audience for bfu/watcher is middle schoolers-twenty somethings #I started watching bfu when I was like 12-13ish? so did a lot of my friends #now I'm about to be a twenty-something and I'm a jobless student who still lives at home 😭 #as a dependent I wouldn't have asked my parents for this either cause they're frugal (and most people are in this economy now...) #so I wonder how this'll effect the audience demographics. #I also feel like watcher itself isn't enough to warrant a whole streaming service for 5.99 a month #are there really so many diehard watcher fans that watch most/every single show? cause like I love the boys but #I've only seen two maybe three of their shows and I wouldn't consider my attachment to at least 2 of them enough to justify that kinda #purchase. anyway this is just me speculating! like I said this won't have a huge bearing on my life it's just kinda disappointing

#fun fact I designed green amy primarily because I got a double of amy from the sonic blind bag bag clip figures u can get #and I wanted to paint her an alt colour palette for fun #and I thought #‘hey Amy is grouped with team sonic so often but while team sonic on their own are primary colours amy breaks that by being red like Knox’ #knux* #wtf autocorrect #anyway my solution was ‘well what if she was green?’ #and then it was like holy shit wait this can actually tie into both her role as a fortune teller with a tendency towards clairvoyance #AND her original classic sonic design #so for green Amy I just took all the colours left behind by the modern amy design and made those three colours her whole colour palette #like classic amy’s colour palette getting split into two different Amys #one pink and red one green orange and navy blue #SO HERE’S BOTH OF THEM #because I love her original colours a lot too as well as my regular non-green redesign for her #so here’s both #sth #sonic the hedgehog #Amy rose #redesign #Amy rose redesign #sonic redesign #moodle’s mcdoodles

I don’t ever imagine Marik having like a career I think between whatever offshore crime syndicate money he has squirreled away and mooching off of Ishizu’s government income he’s just going to do whatever he wants forever. So I originally wrote this back in August when this release was fresh and then!!! APPARENTLY!!! just COMPLETELY forgot to post it!! so you get it now, three months late.

Some of the dialogue from the Guardian Tower has been living rent free in my head and now I want to yell about it because it’s SO GOOD for background lore

Okay, so, on the first floor, Mindi tells us this:

I really like this because it helps illustrate one of the logistical problems of the Rose. Like, even if you took away everything else that makes them bad (which, admittedly, is most of the organisation and its purpose), the fact that they tend to, by default, present themselves as the only option and drive out competition is bad. On paper, a force of people trained in combat against magical threats, with reasonably easy access to that training, which has garrisons stationed across the land, is actually a pretty good solution to the whole Recurring Evil Magical Threats thing. We know this because the guardians and the paladins and the dragonslayers exist! They do this! The Rose seems to make membership easier to access but, frankly, I suspect that is in part because their training is less thorough.

And when the Rose show up and drive those other groups out (like they’ve done with the Guardians), they don’t actually improve anything. Best case scenario, everything is exactly the way it was before. More likely, things would get worse, because the people with active experience defending a particular area have been driven away and now the Rose members have to play catch-up

(A good example of how on paper a group like the Rose could help an area is Book 3 Amityvale. The local Guardians were long gone, so the Rose were able to help without doing that extra damage and made Amityvale a safer place to live....... but that’s specifically for the human inhabitants. Plus, we know they’re affecting the magic of the area - Amaris’s moon has started having phases - and that’s! probably not good! Also see: Raven having to flee for her own safety after getting bitten by a werewolf. Even where they are ostensibly doing the most good, the Rose are still an active danger to many, even their own in the wrong circumstances)

And, meanwhile, on the ground floor...

......further proof that the Rose actively try to drive competition out of the area. Falconreach has repeatedly made it clear that they want nothing to do with the Rose and they keep picking fights with the patrols.
