Frankly, it's the most adorable thing he's seen in his life. (And Jimmy doesn't quite have the heart to tell him to stop when Tango starts carrying his tiny rancher around everywhere he goes.) OR: Scar tries to get Tango to stop carrying around the shrunken Sheriff, but his words go in one ear and out the other. Not that Jimmy really minds all that much when it's Tango.

The Joker is Wild is an episode that really doesnt work where it is in the show

the idea that BJ is set off by like. jealous rage or whatever over Hawkeye comparing him to Trapper just doesnt work so late in the show when there's been 0 indication that BJ is jealous about Trapper at all. it feels like it comes out of nowhere, just a half-assed sort of reason given to set him off

ive mentioned this before here and I know its a hot take within this fandom but the supposed Trapper Complex just doesnt exist. in the 8 seasons that BJ is present in the show, I can think of three times Trapper's name comes up around him

Period of Adjustment, where he brings up that he feels like he hates Trapper. should be noted that BJ here is at about the lowest point we see him at, he's in complete despair, and he's also blind drunk. he also specifically brings up that he feels this way because Trapper has gone home- it has nothing to do with Hawkeye

Depressing News, Hawkeye refers to BJ as being the 'same size, same shape' as Trapper, and BJ's reaction can be construed as being not exactly pleased about it. I think this reads more as him just not being happy about literally being called Trapper's replacement, not him being jealous

then, of course, The Joker is Wild

because of this it really just doesnt make sense for BJ to suddenly have this jealousy in The Joker is Wild, not this late in the show. it would've honestly worked so much better if this episode happened back in season 4, because then you could've made that jealousy believable with BJ still establishing himself in camp and Hawkeye still dealing with Trapper's departure. but as it is, set in season 11, it really just doesnt work. its such a He Would Not Fucking Say That episode

In terms of Crimson I actually think his behavior is going to be a lot like Val is going to be tbh, except with Val I think, unless you're a business associate or rival/enemy, that he wins you over emotionally or waits until he has something on you before he shows his darker side, since the Overlord is also a drug dealing mafioso of the Pride ring (also what's the deal with like shark people being criminals? Is Mammon a shark or something aquatic too? And when's gender daddy Asmodeus coming back, him n Val can pass me like a blunt 😩❤️). It's kind of stereotypical Mafia shit, everyone has ranking, loyalty is everything, obey orders unflinchingly, don't you dare talk back. Honestly, I think it’s weird how it’s written and implied that the Marauders were out there bullying and hexing people just for the fuck if it.

Because when I read the books and we find out the history between them vs Snape, I always got the feeling that James and Sirius simply got on Snape’s bad side and vice versa, but I never really imagined that from then on they decided to specifically torment him.

I always imagined it as when the Marauders started pranking people, it was more like a generalized prancing, like maybe whichever Slytherin walking down the third floor corridor after the lunch bell gets covered in spell resistant slime. And maybe by coincidence Snape was there, and he took it personally (because it’s shown that he is an angry man who took anything as a personal front against him) and decided to get payback. And it becomes a cycle of Marauders pranking, Snape getting revenge, Marauders retaliating until it becomes their habit where the Marauders attacked on sight and Snape played the victim, especially to Lily, which adds fuel to the fire as James begins to fall in love.

As for the other students I always believed that maybe the Marauders saw themselves as sorts of knights in shining armor and because of having the map and invisibility clock they saw and heard more than what they should know and acted accordingly to their “morals”, like hexing a sixth year Ravenclaw to sprout hair out everywhere because they saw him torment a little first year, things of that nature.
