Today we celebrate the Holy Martyr Sophia with her three Virgin Martyr daughters, Faith, Hope and Love. The three virgin martyrs were subject to cruel and viscious torments which eventually had them killed right before their mother's eyes. Their mother Sophia was forced to watch as a punishment from the torturer, but rather than pleading for the tortures to cease, she encouraged her daughters to persevere in the faith, saying that the suffering will not last long and that they would soon meet their Bridegroom in Paradise. After all three daughters had been killed, Sophia reverently buried them and reposed in the Lord soon after while praying at their graves. At the time of their martyrdom, Faith was 12 years old, Hope was 10, and Love was 9. San Giovanni Suergiu (Sardinia). Is Pistis (furriadroxu). That of the "furriadroxus" is a particular story, concerns above all the territory of Sulcis and the Gallura (where they are called "statzus"). Are dealing with agro-pastoral settlements, sorts of farms. Furriadroxu is equivalent in Sardinian to "place where you return" and refers to the abandonment of territories due to the raids of Moors, Saracens, North African pirates, throughout the modern and medieval ages and the subsequent return to those territories at the end of the phenomenon, towards the mid-nineteenth century (concept also extended to the pastoral function as a place where the animals return). Sulcis was heavily hit by Berber raids and complementary phenomena, but before the piracy of the Moors/Mauris (Mauritans, Moroccans, Algerians), contact took place through deportation/transfer by the Vandals, whose kingdom, starting from the 5th century, included Sardinia, Corsica and the Balearic Islands together with North Africa. In Sardinia even today, also by extension, the citizens of Sulcis are called "Maurreddus" as those populations naturally mixed with the resident population, then spreading throughout the territory. The situation during the Byzantine domination becomes even more complicated. Less reliable is to trace the etymology to sa meurra (blackbird) or to the bishop Maurus. Su furriadroxu is generally a single-family, settlement as indicated by the denominations including the surname together with the article Is, and are distinguished from "medaus" (metatum, enclosed) which includes several families. Is Pistis (21 inhabitants), in the photo, which I visited during my holiday, is a furriadroxu of San Giovanni Suergiu, a seaside resort about 4 km away. -Alibaba, Aladdin, and Morgiana all refer to each other as Big/Little Brother/Sister. They're all siblings and you can pry that from my cold dead hands

-Hakuei has a habit of calling everyone 'baby' or 'sweetie' or 'babe' or 'bao' or 'baobei', just pet names in general. With her actual significant other the pet name would be something based on their name

-Hakuryuu and Kougyoku are one of the best and strongest Ren sibling duo PERIODT. Empress and her loyal General dynamic, the babies of the family but they have THE tightest bond

-Pisti and Masrur have tea parties every Thursday. Sometimes Masrur brings Sadi and Pisti will dress her up, and then she'll insist they all need to be dressed up and then all of a sudden Masrur's in sparkly dress. He's completely fine with this because it makes Sadi smile and that's the one thing he always strives to do for her

-Yamraiha once told Sharrkan that he 'looked like he reads at a third grade level' and for some reason it made him start crying

-Kougyoku knows disturbing facts about the ocean, Hakuryuu knows disturbing facts about bugs and plants and bones, Judar knows disturbing facts about space

-Whenever Marga draws something, Titus and Sphintus put it up on the fridge. When there was no more room on the fridge, they bought a whole new fridge

-Morgiana and Alibaba take turns helping Aladdin braid and brush his hair. Alibaba actively tries to help Aladdin figure out how to do it himself while Morgiana mostly just wants to get it over with. Before coming to the real world Aladdin didn't really take care of his hair very well, but he cherishes these moments with Alibaba and Morgiana more than anything

-idk if I've mentioned this before but Alibaba is absolutely THAT annoying bitch when it comes to chai. Never say 'chai tea' in front of this motherfucker if you don't want a twenty-minute lecture

-Building off on this ^ Judar only refers to it as 'chai tea' just to piss Alibaba off

So, interesting thing about Sophia's name that caught my eye as a practicing Gnostic.

In Gnosticism, Sophia is an Aeon, which is an aspect of the godhead. There's different incarnations of God through the Aeons. Sophia is said to have created the world around us by trying to emulate creation on her own without a partner. She accidentally created a being that we call the Demiurge, which is what we regard the Old Testament god, a very jealous god. In turn, the Demiurge created the Archons (angels) and they created humans and the world around us.

This is basically a Gnostic answer as to why the world is flawed and not perfect. There is more to the creation story as well as a deeper dive on Aeons, but I'm surmising this for simplicity.

Now, Aeon Sophia is regarded as Wisdom. In the Holy Trinity, Sophia is the Holy Ghost. Through Sophia, we obtain wisdom, gnosis. We all have a divine spark that we can awaken gnosis and this is a bit of a higher consciousness that we are able to connect to.

Here's what I love about this: the higher being and consciousness that we can all connect to is referred to as Monad. Monad is essentially the Godhead, that we all (including Aeons) come from, we obtain the divine spark and return to the light, Pleroma. Monad, however, is genderless, god has no gender so we refer to Monad as the Mother-Father.

So, to me, the concept of Ergo is a very similar concept to the divine spark (gnosis) that all beings emulate and their "whispers" can be heard. It makes a lot of sense to me that Sophia is regarded as a Listener and is associated with time because it really fits her potential namesake.

Since there's no concept of Hell in Gnosticism, the world that surrounds us is the closest we have to it, as well as limbo/purgatory. It's a neat part of the story P can be seen as a bit of a reincarnation of Carlo, because Gnosticism tells us that if we do not obtain gnosis, we are reborn until we achieve it. And gnosis isn't just knowledge, it's a sense of self. Know thyself. That inside of us, is Heaven and God, and all we need to do is find it.

So P's journey can have a Gnostic leaning to it (at least to me) because he's gaining a sense of himself and that he is separate from Carlo. In the good ending, him in Sophia's lap is him obtaining gnosis, not just humanity.

I don't know if this was intended by the devs or not, so this is largely a Gnostic interpretation.
