Physique update 💪 - Still sitting around 151lbs. - Had to take a bit of a step back the last couple weeks with food to give my digestive system a little break, but ready to get back at it. - Eating has become quite the chore. I’m rarely hungry for actual food anymore but I’m hungry AF for progress 💪 - If you want something bad enough, you will find a way to make it happen. - It won’t be easy or quick, but if you keep putting in the work, you will get there. - If you are feeling discouraged with things right now: I feel ya, I get discouraged too. I’m not a machine. I’ve had moments where I feel like giving up just like anyone else but I’ve made it clear to myself that giving up is not an option. - Feeling down and discouraged sucks. But these feelings will come and go. One week into my 30 Day Challenge and I have to say I feel great!! I’ve got a #transformationtuesday (shh I know it’s Wednesday) for you today as I was scrolling through some old posts the other day and honestly I was shocked by how far I have actually come. It’s super easy to miss all the little improvements when you’re constantly working towards better ya feel? So I def think it’s good to look back sometimes and give yourself a pat on the back for the progress you’ve already made (e.g. woo go me *pat pat*)⁣ ⁣ Wuuuuutttt! Old Nikki is old. New and improved Nikki is better.⁣ ⁣ My current body goals are to keep going strong on the current cut, then move back into a lean bulk and make some serious strength (and muscle) gains baybeh (yayyyy eatinggggg my favouriteeee) Overall gains will be made with a particular focus on squat progression and some leg/glute development, and shoulder and lat development because ya girl wants to be the beauty AND the beast (greedy/typical female can’t make a decision)⁣ Ye I know I’m a coach but that doesn’t mean I stop working towards my own goals and keep trying and learning and growing. My refeed days have been refeed long weekends since my last #physiqueupdate five weeks ago, so my body weight hasn't changed, even though my lower abs are starting to make an appearance. I recomped (gained muscle and lost fat at the same time) for the first few years of my training, only switching to traditional #bulkingandcutting phases three years ago. Saturday check-in! 9 weeks out from my physique show. 🙌 - Left pictures are from last Saturday. - Right pictures are from today. - Starting to lean out a bit more—especially in my back, although my back pose was also improved so that has something to do with it too. 💪 - Overall things are going pretty well so far. Getting a bit hungrier these days 😂 - I’m still seeing progress so my calories and cardio will stay the same this week. Luckily nothing too torturous yet. 😁 - My main source of cardio at the moment is walking and then 20 mins on the stairmaster post workout so far. Just a little update on how I am looking physique wise. So let's break down what I am doing: -Intermittent fasting. I stop eating around 8p.m but I usually don't have my first meal u til anywhere between 11a.m and 1p.m. but that all depends on the work day. I drink coffee and water and then break.mt fast with a healthy breakfast. But sometimes I slack off and just use a protein bar. Not the beat but sometimes I forget to make food and I'm in a rush. So I use protein bars and protein shakes. -working out 6 days a week. Coaching grit 3x a week, and teaching LIFT 1x a week. I do added cardio 3-4 days a week but some weeks I may only do extra 1-2x. Life happens. Its okay. -loosely tracking. I try snd stay at a certain calorie and protein amount for each day and just loosely track it in my fitness pal just so that I stay on top of it and don't under eat or over eat So that's my little update for you.
