Anne and Cathy’s first kiss
Anna and Cathy’s first kiss happened on a rainy Saturday, while the rest of the queens were asleep. It was one in the morning, and Cathy was awake writing. Like always.
Anne had stumbled into the kitchen to grab a cup of water, when she noticed the other queen, tapping away on her laptop. Cathy had been too engrossed in her writing to notice Anne, and too engrossed still when she didn’t react to the water being turned on and Anne filling up her cup.
“Shit,” Anne muttered. The glass she had been holding was spilling over and getting on her hands. Pouring out a bit of the water and grabbing a towel to dry her hands, Cathy’s eyes finally glanced up.
“Anne?”
Anne blushed slightly. “Sorry, I-I didn’t mean to distract you.”
If only Anne knew how often Cathy got distracted by her smile.
“N- No it’s fine, I was nearly done anyway,” Cathy said, attempting a reassuring smile, but it came out more like a grimace.
Anne, picking up the glass, made her way to Cathy. She sat down on the seat next to her, looking at the other girl’s face illuminated by the light of the computer.
“What are you working on?” Anne asked.
“Uh, nothing much,” Cathy said, repositioning herself on the chair. “You can read it if you want. But you don’t have to, I mean no pressure or anything. It’s probably stupid anyway.” Cathy stared at her hands. She hadn’t meant for it to all rush out like that. Damn, she hoped Anne didn’t think she was being pushy.
“No, I’d love to read it. I’m sure it’s great,” Anne smiled, taking the laptop and propping it against her knees.
Cathy watched the other girl’s eyes move from one line to the next. Anne was smiling softly, and when she neared the bottom of the page, she reached out and held Cathy’s hand.
“It’s really good,” Anne said enthusiastically, with a twinkle in her eyes when she’d finished.
Cathy dipped her head, smiling at the praise.
She took the laptop and placed it on the table in front of her. She looked back at Anne, who was fidgeting with the hem of her pajama shirt.
“Can I kiss you?” Anne asked suddenly.
“What?” Cathy said, despite hearing Anne perfectly well.
“Can I kiss you?’ Anne repeated, looking at Cathy’s lips and then her brown eyes.
Anne’s mind was going in spirals. I shouldn’t have said that. What if she doesn’t like me? What if she says no? What if I’ve ruined everything?
“Yes,” Cathy's soft voice cut through Anne’s thoughts.  Anne’s eyes widened. She couldn’t believe what she was hearing.
“Of course you can kiss me.”
Anne hesitantly put a hand on Cathy’s cheek, playing with the curls by her ear. She moved her head closer, just barely connecting their lips.
Cathy felt the tickle of breath against the top of her lip, Anne’s soft lips brushing gently against Cathy’s. She couldn’t wait any longer. She wouldn’t wait any longer.
In a burst of newfound bravery, Cathy pushed her lips closer to Anne, taking the other girl’s face in between her hands.
Anne opened her eyes momentarily, shocked by Cathy. She smiled into the kiss, moving her hands onto Cathy’s waist.
The two eventually broke apart, smiling giddily. They ended up sharing kisses all the way into the morning, when they were found by Kat they were cuddled together in each other's arms and fast asleep.

We fell in love in November
YEah, we back at it with another one shot... I don’t normally write these but after my recent post and the Parrlyn discord, now could I not 👀 Anyway, this took wayyyyyy longer than i thought it would - Part 15 of She Used to be mine is out tomorrow :)
Tw- implied nudity (nothing over PG-13), bad language, coming out.
The euphoria Cathy Parr felt around Anne Boleyn was extravagant. Even now when they lie in bed together trying to come down from their high, Cathy still felt energised. The writer rolled over to face her girlfriend, with the bedsheets pulled up to her neck and subtly smiled. Cathy ran her left hand through the Boleyn girl’s hair and cupped her cheek with the other.
“You look so beautiful,” Anne opened her eyes and grinned when she met with Cathy’s.
“As are you.” she simply replied as she moved forward to tenderly kiss her girlfriend. No one could’ve expected that Catherine Parr and Anne Boleyn would become a thing in their second life. Heck, they didn’t even know they had the possibility of a second life! Anne paused their kiss and Cathy looked unexpectedly at her gremlin, “You should tell Aragon.”
The moment was ruined.
Cathy tensed as she sat up, pulling the duvet with her and laughing when she pulled too hard, so Anne was left bare, “What?”
“I said-” Anne smirked as she deliberately rolled onto Cathy’s chest, making her blush, “You should tell Aragon.”
“What if I don’t want to tell Aragon…” Cathy whispered, not looking away from Anne’s eyes.
“You can look at my tits, Cath, I don't mind.”
“ANNE!” Cathy profusely blushed and shoved the Boleyn girl to the side,
Anne snickered and pulled the writer into a cuddle, “It isn’t like you haven’t seen them before.”
“But seriously,” Cathy hummed when she went back to being serious, “I don’t want to tell my godmother, she might not like it.”
“But she came to pride last year and threw confetti at that proposing gay couple?”
“That’s different. Not only am I her goddaughter, but I’m also dating the woman who stole her crown.”
“Yeah, I feel a little guilty for that,” Anne confessed.
“You shouldn’t. ‘Lina isn’t mad about it now because we know you were forced to do it,” Cathy snuffled closer, “but it still doesn’t change history.”
“She’s family Cath. I told Kat, now you should tell Aragon.” Anne gently kissed Cathy’s curls before removing her grip around the writer’s waist, allowing her to go downstairs.
“I might.” Cathay smiled as she grabbed her underwear and a towel from Anne’s floor, “I love you.”
“I love you too, Cath.”
Both queens had been dating for a significant amount of time, and their story started when they ‘accidentally’ made out in Cathy’s dressing room after Anne trapped them for an hour. After that, there had been a series of confessions, secret glances and planning from both parties, so they didn’t come across as suspicious. Then, once they felt ready, Anne told Katherine who has been a useful distraction when the lovers want some alone time.
One of the first things Catherine proposed was developing small ‘habits’ that the others would believe. For example, Anne was known to sleep in, so they both took advantage of that when Cathy would sneak out of her room and cuddle Anne in the early morning before heading downstairs for breakfast. Another trick was when Cathy ran out of coffee and needed to take a last-minute trip to Tescos. Anne would always hide the coffee and midnight then plan a Tescos trip the next day when Cathy would happen to tag along.
And it worked surprisingly well.
“Morning Mija.” Catalin de Aragon was at the head of the kitchen table, reading a novel and drinking tea, alone.
Cathy walked over to her coffee machine, “Morning ma, where is everyone?”
“They decided to go on a walk. Katherine said something about trees helping you live longer,”
Cathy suppressed a laugh, Anne...
“Yeah, I read that too.”
“Of course, in our second lives, no one wants to take any chances!” Aragon continued, oblivious, “Knowing Kat, she probably just wanted to look at the dogs.”
Catherine picked her fingernails, and her stomach churned over, “Can I confess something?”
“Of course…” Her godmother removed her reading glasses and gestured for Cathy to take a seat.
“I’ve been seeing someone,” A beat, “romantically.”
The confession slipped out and jumping the first hurdle was surprisingly easy, but unfortunately, it wasn’t as straightforward as that.
The godmother corrected her posture and licked her lips, “Oh? For how long?”
“About 4 months.”
“And you never told me?”
“I didn’t think it was necessary,” Cathy replied, sheepishly.
While Catherine may not be her mother, it didn’t change how she acted like one. One of Cathy’s strongest memories was when Aragon comforted her every night after she was reincarnated.
“What’s his name?”
Another hurdle appeared that Cathy had to somehow jump over - the gay hurdle.
“He’s a she.” Catherine wouldn’t say she was scared of her godmother, but she certainly valued her approval and beliefs.
The Spaniard paused to think this over before leaning back in her chair, closing her eyes, and smiling. The smile grew, and a flower of hope blossomed in the Survivor’s chest. Aragon then opened her arms for Cathy to hug her, and the writer reacted all too quickly.
“I’m happy you felt comfortable enough to tell me.”
“Does this mean you’re okay with this?” Cathy mumbled into her shoulder,
“Of course Mija! Now, who is she?”
“Okay, okay” Cathy could burst with excitement! Even though her godmother didn’t know it was Anne, Cathy could still describe her lover in perfect detail. “She has dark brown hair, which has a subtle wave at the end. She is pretty pale, so her freckles stand out but her cheeks are always red because she is somehow always blushing!” Cathy continued to gush, “Her eyes are grey, but they change with the light, and her favourite colour is green-”
“You told Aragon yet?” Anne Boleyn leaned in the doorway with a giant smirk on her face, “or are you just going to keep describing my facial features?”
Silence.
Anne stopped as she realised what she’d said.
Cathy looked between Anne and her godmother. She loved the gremlin, but she really needs to learn to read a situation.
Aragon stood and looked between Anne and Cathy. Her brain slowly puts the puzzle together in an organised fashion. The hair, the skin, the freckles, the blush, the eyes and finally, the favourite colour.
The history hurdle.
The grinding of Cathy’s chair against the kitchen floor wasn’t enough to pierce the tension between the 1st and 2nd queen. The writer took Anne’s hand, and cautiously walked her over to her godmother.
“Anne, this is my Godmother. Ma, this is-”
“I know who Anne is.” Catherine’s voice was a deadly monotone.
The awkwardness had obviously got to the Boleyn girl who proceeded to bite her lip as she glanced around the room, eyeing the wall tiles with great curiosity.
“Boleyn.” Anne’s head snapped back to the situation as the Spanish queen addressed her. “Are you dating my goddaughter?”
“Well-” Anne didn’t know what to say, and thankfully, Catherine didn’t want to hear it.
“Catherine Mary Parr.” Cathy flinched at the use of her full name.
“Your middle name is mary?” Anne tentatively asked before Aragon shut her off.
“Are you dating the woman who stole my husband?”
“Well, when you put it like that…” Cathy trailed off as her godmother rubbed her temple.
“After all these years?” Aragon tried so hard to keep her composure, she really did. But some situations are just too much. “No puedo creerlos a los dos!”
“I can’t fucking believe you both.” Cathy translated.
“Después de todo lo que hago por ti,” The Spaniard flung her arms around, “así es como me pagas?!”
“After everything, I’ve done for you, this is how you repay me?”
“Mierda, mierda, mierda, odio a los malditos franceses!” She turned to Cathy “Te estas follando ella?”
“Fuck, fuck, fuck, I hate the fucking french, and I verbally can’t repeat the final phrase.”
“Are you?” ‘Lina demanded to know the answer.
“sí señorita.” Cathy’s reply was quick and timid.
Catherine turned to Anne, “First, you stole my husband, then you stole my crown, and now you steal my goddaughter?!”
“Oh, I stole more than that from her,” Anne winked at Cathy who couldn’t hold her laugh as she remembered the recent events. She buried her head in the Boleyn girl’s shoulder to try and stifle it. Forgetting all about the angry Spaniard, Anne kissed the top of Cathy’s curls and smiled fondly down at her.
That wasn’t normal. Catherine of Aragon knew how Anne Boleyn worked when it came to a relationship. She would look at her target with a seductive smirk and a classic wink, she would follow them around before leading them out the room in the dark and alone. Anne Boleyn would destroy families and ruin a country. Manipulate the king and destroy the church, but she would never look at someone with such value.
In all the years Catherine had been alive she has never seen Anne Boleyn blush as much as she did now or look at someone with so much compassion and… love?
“No me importa que seas gay” Aragon finally sighed.
Cathy swiftly removed her head from Anne’s shoulder to translate, “I don’t care that you are gay.”
“And I shouldn't care who you date either.” Catalina looked at the interlocked fingers. “Forgive me for being so crude, it was a shock.”
“It was a shock to me too!” Anne quipped but received a slap from Cathy.
“I apologise for my use of language too, it was-”
“Descriptive?” Cathy finished.
“Extremely.” It was still a little awkward between the trio, but ‘Lina was determined to settle things, “I just want you to know that I accept you both as family and as lovers.”
“Thank you, ma.”
“I really appreciate it.”
“Now, I know the others will be getting back soon so we should really get started on breakfast.”
“Let me reheat your coffee, babe.” Anne carefully took the mug from Cathy, who whispered a ‘thank you.’
“I have to admit,” Aragon cleared her space on the table and handed her goddaughter the placemats, “You make a pretty good couple.”
“Right?!” Anne beamed with delight,
“Does anyone else know?” Catherine continued,
“Only Katherine and you. We both wanted to keep it on the down-low, but Anne said I should tell you because you’re family.” Cathy explained.
“Well, I’m glad you told me, even if it took some convincing. And know that I’m here for the both of you if anyone tries anything!”
“We’re back!” The younger cousin’s voice echoed off the walls, and she bounced into the kitchen to see Cathy kissing Anne’s cheek as she was handed her mug and ‘Lina placing the apple juice on the table.
“Did the air work?” Cathy asked Kitty as she took her seat next to Anne around the table,
“I feel younger already!”
“I’m definitely going to be immortal by the end of the century.” Anna threw her hoodie over the back of her chair and poured herself some apple juice as Jane finally walked in.
Once everyone was sat, Anne nodded at Kat from across the table and tried to suppress and smile as Cathy subtly linked their arms together. A small gesture of affection which had humungous meaning.

Anne didn’t claim to be the smartest of the queens.
She took herself for a complete dumbass, honestly.
Why?
Well, there were many reasons. Too many to list. But she supposed, if she had to pick one specific moment to represent her limitless stupidity, it would be this moment. Right now. The one where she’s kissing Catherine Parr.
She wished that she could give a reasonable explanation for why this was happening. She really, really did. She even wished that the stupidity of this moment came from the fact that it was intentional, spawned of a hope that Cathy would be reciprocal. At least that- although foolish- would come nowhere close to the actual dumbassery that landed her here.
What was that dumbassery?
Well. She’d be quite happy to tell you.
She and Cathy were sitting next to each other. Closely. Probably a little too closely, but Anne didn’t have the time to analyse that right now. They had been watching a Christmas film with Anna, who left the room to get something (Anne in her dumbfounded state couldn’t tell you for the life of her what it was) a minute or two prior, leaving Cathy and Anne sitting on a couch.
Very close together.
Alone.
But this story gets better. You see, Cathy- ever intrigued by current politics- had heard of a shop called Lush. Knowing of its vegan, cruelty-free status had apparently been enough to justify spending £7 on a lip balm. Which, okay, fair enough- who was Anne to judge? She (once again, in her boundless idiocy) was prone to slightly extravagant purchases. And the lip balm did smell good. A glance over at the small pot it was kept in when she heard Cathy open it had told her it was honey, a cartoon bee decorating the simple silver container.
A reasonable assumption, then, if the lip balm smelled good, is that it would taste good, as well. And another reasonable assumption is that Cathy would want Anne- her friend- to also experience the lip balm, to see if she liked it, or to maybe get back at the amused side eye Anne had given her when she was told of its price.
But when Cathy had said, “Anne, try this lip balm”, with the pot in question held out towards her, those two perfectly valid assumptions hadn’t been enough to save Anne from herself. Because, apparently, in Anne’s mind, simply swiping a finger over the honey substance and putting it on her lips- like a normal person- just wasn’t practical. No. Instead, she had decided to turn her head and kiss Cathy, because her first thought wasn’t to use the lip balm in the aforementioned method, but to just taste it straight from Cathy.
Again- dumbass.
It lasted far longer than it should have. They were both too shocked (and too scared) to pull away, but were blessedly saved by Anna’s expletive upon witnessing the scene. It had made them jump apart despite its fairly quiet volume, heads whipping to look at Anna, and feeling rather like deer caught in headlights. She raised an eyebrow, cradling a couple blankets in her arms. When no one gave an explanation (or even blinked), she walked further into the room and settled back onto her own armchair.
“I didn’t know the lip balm was that good, Cathy,” she commented. Nothing more was said on the matter as she seemed to contemplate the bundle she held, ultimately throwing them both a single blanket and keeping the other two for herself, situating the sheets and returning her attention back to the film.
And Anne was surprised she even heard any of that over the blood rushing in her ears, surely to add to the crimson flame across her cheeks. She was also surprised to have felt the blanket’s delicate thump against her lap, as apparently her entire nervous system was focusing on the tingling in her lips where Cathy’s own had been seconds ago. Her stare hadn’t strayed from the doorway that Anna had entered through.
She felt Cathy move the blanket off from her lap and throw it around herself. She extended the arm closest to Anne to wrap the limb and the fabric over her shoulders, pulling her into a cuddle that made her cheeks heat impossibly more. The arm didn’t move, either.
She looked at Cathy, then, engulfed in her warmth, and found the same flaming blush mirrored on the woman’s cheeks. A shy smile was on her face as she looked back at Anne.
“Told you it was worth £7,” she whispered.

Anne shifted impatiently on her bed as she watched Kat closely observe each color on her eye shadow palette, indecisive on which one she should apply to her restless subject.
“Kat, I don’t have all day,” Anne complained as she looked down to Kat’s palette. To Anne, they were just a mix of lighter greys and darker greys, a sign that she still had yet to find her soulmate.
Anne thought briefly about the moment she would meet her soulmate and her monochromatic world would slowly turn into one of color. She longed to experience the wonderful sight of color that Kat had tried describing to her. Despite her best efforts, Anne still struggled to imagine what color was actually like. Though, Kat’s overt excitement while explaining the different shades and sights made Anne bubble with anticipation at the thought of sharing that first colored glance with her soulmate.
“We’re going to brunch with Anna,” Kat muttered absentmindedly. “We could literally have all day, if we wanted.”
“But you always spend so much time picking colors!” Anne whined as Kat finally picked one of the lighter greys to apply.
“I want to make sure those green eyes of yours pop if you happen to meet your soulmate today,” Kat replied as she began working on Anne’s makeup.
Anne paused for a moment to think about what Kat had said. “What is green like?” Anne asked dreamily after a few moments. She had asked this question countless times before but she never got tired of Kat’s answer.
“Green is like a gentle stroll in the park, surrounded by nature. It’s peaceful and quiet, like the feeling you get when someone truly knows you,” Kat answered as she moved from Anne’s left eye to her right. “At least, that’s what I think of when I see green. It reminds me of you. Because your eyes are the prettiest shade of green I’ve ever seen.”
“You and Anna are so lucky,” Anne whispered. “You met each other in elementary school. And I’m stuck here wondering if I’ll ever meet my soulmate.” Anne sighed despondently at the thought.
“You will, Anne!” Kat exclaimed. “And they’ll be the most amazing person ever!”
“I hope so,” Anne responded, silently dreaming about her soulmate as Kat finished doing her makeup.
~~~
Cathy grunted quietly to herself as she heard the front door of her apartment swing open. The two voices chattering to each other cut through Cathy’s concentration, causing her to stop halfway through writing her sentence. She set down her pen with a huff as she threw her head back in frustration.
This had become Cathy’s new normal, much to her distaste. After her roommate Catalina had found her soulmate early last month, the two lovebirds had become practically inseparable. They had spent the majority of their time together, enjoying the new sights and sensations that came as new soulmates bonded. And, all the while, Cathy had never felt more alone in the world.
Of course, Cathy felt guilty about her emotions but she couldn’t help feeling irritated when she saw Catalina with Jane. Cathy was sure Jane was a lovely woman but it stung when she remembered that she had been completely replaced by her.
It used to be Cathy that Catalina would sit and watch movies with. It used to be Cathy that Catalina would tell all of her thoughts to. It used to be Cathy that Catalina would want to spend time with. Now, Cathy had been reduced to a passing shadow in the background of Catalina’s life.
Cathy shook her head to clear her mind of those depressing thoughts. She shouldn’t be blaming Catalina for how lonely she felt. Deep down, Cathy knew she was just longing to have a connection with someone like Catalina had with Jane. She wanted to spend an endless amount of hours talking and laughing with someone that gave her butterflies. She wanted to experience color for the first time with her special someone and watch as her greyscale world slowly came to life. She wanted to find her soulmate.
The sound of giggles broke Cathy out of her thoughts, as she looked down at her journal with a sad expression. She wouldn’t be able to focus enough to write with all of the background noise coming from the living room. So instead, Cathy decided to leave the apartment altogether and head to her happy place: the library.
In a hurry, Cathy threw on her favorite hoodie before grabbing her phone and keys off her desk. She hoped that she would be able to get past the living room and out the front door without any awkward conversations.
Of course, luck was never on her side. A few paces before Cathy reached the door, Catalina noticed her. “Hey Cathy! Where are you going?”
“The library,” Cathy grunted as she reluctantly turned to face the couple that was cuddled up on the couch. Cathy did her best to refrain from wincing visibly at the sight.
“Hey!” Jane’s sickenly sweet tone made Cathy narrow her eyes skeptically. “I like your jacket!”
“Yeah! It’s blue,” Catalina said excitedly, which only added insult to injury. It was bad enough that Catalina had seemingly forgotten about Cathy in the past month but jabbing at her inability to see colors yet was a step too far.
“You know I can’t see color, Catalina!” Cathy finally snapped. “But thanks for rubbing it in my face that you can!”
“Cathy, I didn’t mean it like-” Catalina’s frantic response was cut off by Cathy slamming the door on her way out of the apartment. As she walked down the stairs, Cathy was overcome by guilt for acting out of anger and lashing out at Catalina. She almost turned back to apologize but decided against it, knowing it would be best for each of them to have their own space for a while before talking it out.
With that reasoning in mind, Cathy exited the building and rushed off to the library, hoping to find some solace among the endless shelves of books. Even if her sight was in black-and-white, she could always paint a vibrant picture in her head of the stories held within the bindings of a good book.
~~~
Anne turned off her motorcycle as she pulled into one of the spots in front of their favorite restaurant. She looked around the outdoor seating to see if Anna had arrived before them. Much to her surprise, she found Kat’s soulmate sitting at one of the tables with a menu in her hands.
“She’s actually on time for once,” Anne mused as she took off her helmet and slid off her motorcycle.
“I told her that she would make me sad if she turned our brunch into a lunch again,” Kat piped up from beside Anne as they approached the table.
“Did you give her your puppy dog eyes?” Anne asked and received a devilish smile in return.
“You bet I did!” Kat answered as Anne laughed and nudged her cousin’s shoulder affectionately.
“I taught you well,” Anne responded, winking at Kat with a smile on her face. “I’m so proud of your progress.”
Kat giggled before walking up behind Anna’s chair and covering her soulmate’s eyes with her hands. “Guess who it is!”
Anna paused for a moment, pretending to be deep in thought. “I think it might be my beautiful soulmate who also has extremely soft hands. Or her obnoxiously loud cousin.”
“Rude!” Anne scoffed jokingly at the last comment directed at her as she took a seat in the chair across from Anna.
“It’s me!” Kat exclaimed excitedly as she popped her head next to Anna’s. In turn, Anna smiled at her lovingly before pressing a quick kiss to her lips.
Anne watched the small exchange with a longing expression on her face. She couldn’t be more happy that her cousin had a perfect soulmate. It seemed like they were made for each other and Anne knew for a fact that nobody made Kat happier than Anna did.
Yet, seeing her interact with Anna made her heart drop slightly in her chest. Anne longed to share small moments like the one she had just witnessed with her own soulmate. She wanted to hug and kiss them, cuddle up on the couch and watch a movie together, and even invite them to brunch with Kat and Anna so that Anne would finally feel less alone. More than anything, she wanted to find her soulmate.
“Earth to Anne!” Anna’s exclamation snapped Anne suddenly out of her thoughts.
“Sorry! I got distracted,” Anne mumbled out as an apology.
“No worries! We were wondering if you were ready to order,” Kat chimed in.
Anne briefly looked down at the menu in front of her before nodding her head. She practically had the thing memorized after so many visits to this spot. “Yeah, I’m ready.”
Not long after, the trio ordered their food and settled into casual conversation. They talked and laughed together until their waitress set down their plates and they began eating in silence.
After a few minutes of quiet, Kat piped up and said, “Anne, I can’t wait until you meet your soulmate!”
“What… what makes you say that?” Anne asked, caught off guard by Kat’s sudden confession.
“She wants you to start doing your own makeup,” Anna joked before Kat smacked her lightly on the arm. “Ow!”
“No, I love doing your makeup!” Kat exclaimed. “But brunch would be so much better if there were four of us.” Kat gestured to the empty chair in front of her, the perfect place for Anne’s soulmate to sit. Anne turned to look at the chair with a small smile on her face, imagining a near future where she could hold hands with her soulmate under the table as they ate brunch with Kat and Anna.
Anne was about to respond when something in the crowded sidewalk caught her eye. Her attention shifted completely away from her brunchmates as she turned to get a better look at what it was. She gawked as she saw the sight of a pretty woman rushing past their table, wearing something… colorful.
Anne suddenly pushed back her chair and stood up, turning around as she watched her soulmate run further down the street. “T-that was…” Anne stuttered as she turned back to Kat and Anna, who each had wide grins on their faces. “... color.”
“Go get ‘em!” Kat cheered and motioned for Anne to leave. Anne smiled back at her before quickly taking off in the direction her soulmate had gone.
After a moment of stunned silence, Anna spoke up. “I think you just summoned her soulmate, Kat.”
“Yes. I did,” Kat replied and lifted her head in pride. “I take full credit.”
“Do you think Anne is going to finish that?” Anna asked and gestured to her half-eaten plate of food.
“Probably not,” Kat answered and watched as Anna scooped the leftover food onto her own plate. She looked back up in the direction her cousin had gone in pursuit of her soulmate before continuing. “I doubt she'll be back any time soon.”
~~~
Cathy pushed open the library door with a huff before a sudden calm washed over her. The library atmosphere instantly soothed Cathy’s temperament as it brought back the many good memories she had made while reading her favorite classics.
Before Cathy could think about where she was going, her feet led her to the shelves holding the literary classics out of habit. As she browsed the different titles in search of a new one to read, Cathy felt her phone buzz in her pocket. She pulled it out and sighed when she saw several messages from Catalina asking where she was and apologizing profusely for her earlier behavior.
Cathy quickly grabbed a random book from the shelf before walking over to the seating area and picking a spot to sit away from the others who were reading. As she sat down, she slid the book on the table and began messaging Catalina, letting her know that she was at the library and also apologized for her sudden outburst. Cathy knew that they would still have to talk about why it had happened but for now it was nice to simply be forgiven.
After letting Catalina know she would be home in a few hours, Cathy slid her phone back in her pocket and turned to see which book she had grabbed from the shelf. A scowl passed over Cathy’s face as she let out a frustrated sigh. Sitting on the table was a hardback copy of “Romeo and Juliet,” one Cathy’s least favorite books.
The title seemed to mock Cathy, reminding her of the soulmate she still had yet to find. The first time Cathy read the book, she had been enamored by the love that Romeo and Juliet had for each other until she realized how disastrous their choices turned out to be for themselves and their families. Their love had been selfish and brash, a complete opposite of what Cathy hoped for herself and her future soulmate.
With those thoughts swirling in her head, Cathy slid the book away from her and resolved to find a new one when a voice spoke up beside her. “I’m not much of a fan of ‘Romeo and Juliet’ either.”
“Finally someone agrees! I think it’s a terrible portrayal of love for teens to read, especially when considering how much society has evolved since Shakespeare’s time and-” Cathy’s flow of words suddenly stopped as she turned to look at the person standing beside her chair. Her breath caught in her throat and for the first time in her life, Cathy was truly at a loss for words. Because nothing could describe the sight of the stranger’s eyes, glistening in a new shade that Cathy had never seen before.
She was utterly speechless as she stared in shock, suddenly realizing that the beautiful woman she was staring up at was her long-awaited soulmate. The girl shuffled nervously before flashing Cathy a quick smile. “I- um- can I sit with you?” Cathy’s soulmate stuttered as she gestured to the empty chair across from her own.
“Yeah, absolutely!” Cathy exclaimed eagerly as she broke out of her daze. She watched as the woman took a seat and looked back at her with curious eyes, causing her eyes to sparkle even more brightly than before. Cathy looked down shyly, almost unable to bear the intensity of the color in them.
“I’m Anne Boleyn. And I guess we’re soulmates,” Anne said with a nervous chuckle.
Cathy gave Anne a warm smile before introducing herself. “My name’s Catherine Parr. But most people just call me Cathy.”
“I like your jacket, Cathy,” Anne complimented. “Do you happen to know what color it is? Because it’s the first color I can see.”
In that instant, Cathy was incredibly grateful for Catalina and vowed to not only apologize profusely to her when she got home but also treat her to a nice dinner to show her gratitude for telling her the color of her jacket before she left. “My friend said it was blue,” Cathy replied as she looked down at her sleeve. The faintest hues were starting to seep into the fabric, though they were still too faint to differentiate from the grey the jacket was before.
“Blue,” Anne whispered to herself. “I like blue.”
“Anne, your eyes…” Cathy couldn’t even finish her sentence as she became enraptured once again by the beautiful colors in Anne’s irises.
“Oh, yeah! My cousin says they’re green,” Anne mentioned, proud of herself that she remembered the color.
“Green is beautiful,” Cathy said and admired the way Anne’s eyes lit up at the compliment.
“You’re beautiful,” Anne blurted out before ducking her head in embarrassment. Cathy blushed at the sudden praise and reached across the table to take Anne’s hand in her own.
“That’s really sweet, Anne,” Cathy nearly whispered as she gave Anne a soft smile. Anne returned Cathy’s smile with one of her own.
In that moment, Cathy felt the pang of loneliness she had carried around with her for so long finally dissipate into thin air. In its place, a small bud of love had sprouted for the woman sitting front of her, the same woman that also happened to be her soulmate. An elated feeling spread in Cathy’s chest at that thought. She couldn’t wait to get to know Anne better. She couldn’t wait to bond with her soulmate and live a life full of color with her. And she certainly couldn’t wait to fall in love with the green-eyed goddess sitting in front of her.
~~~
The two queens stayed in the library and talked with each other for quite a long time until eventually the librarian got tired of asking them to stay quiet and politely asked them to leave. Anne and Cathy apologized for being disruptive before leaving the library as they quietly giggled to themselves.
“That’s the first time I’ve ever been kicked out of a library,” Cathy commented as they walked hand-in-hand down the street.
“Oh, I’ve probably been blacklisted from every library in town for being too loud at this point,” Anne joked and nudged Cathy’s shoulder lightly. “Where are we off to next?”
“There’s a park not too far from here,” Cathy said with a question in her eyes. “I’d like to see it in color, if you’re okay with that.”
“I’m more than okay with that, Cathy,” Anne responded and squeezed Cathy’s hand in reassurance. “I love spending time with you.”
Cathy looked up to Anne with a shy smile on her face. “I love spending time with you too. I know we haven’t known each other for that long but you’re my new favorite person.” Cathy bit her lip nervously at the confession, watching Anne’s response to see if she had gone too far.
Anne visibly lit up at Cathy’s words. “You’re my new favorite person too!” Anne exclaimed excitedly before taking a moment to pretend like she was pondering thoughtfully to herself. “It’s almost like we’re soulmates or something,” Anne joked, eliciting a small laugh from Cathy.
“Maybe it’s because we are soulmates,” Cathy said with a smile on her face. Anne took that opportunity to look at Cathy for a moment and admire how beautiful Cathy really was. A lively color had seeped into her skin in the past couple of hours, contrasting from the dull grey it was before, giving her an almost angelic glow in Anne’s eyes. Her smile literally lit up Anne’s world, making the colors that had appeared in her surroundings over time a little brighter than before. Cathy’s gentle touch made Anne crave every part of her, filling Anne’s mind with daydreams of them cuddling and kissing one another as Cathy led her to the nearby park.
Anne was broken out of her thoughts by Cathy gasping next to her. She looked around for a moment before having a similar reaction to Cathy. Anne stared in amazement at the beautiful park in front of her, practically glowing with a newfound life that Anne had never experienced before.
Anne tore her gaze away from the sight of the park to steal a quick glance at Cathy. She smiled subconsciously as she watched Cathy look around, taking in every new color and committing it to memory. After a brief moment, Cathy turned to look at Anne and they shared a smile.
“Well, what are we waiting for? Let’s go!” Anne exclaimed excitedly and pulled Cathy towards the entrance of the park. Cathy eagerly followed her, sharing in Anne’s excitement to experience their first walk in the park together in color.
The new soulmates spent most of their early afternoon roaming along the park’s walkways, admiring their surroundings as the colors around them became more vibrant and lively. They chatted as they walked, getting to know each other better as they exchanged interests and a few laughs as well.
Anne felt so at peace in the world, relishing in the park’s atmosphere and bright colors as she brushed shoulders gently with Cathy. There was no feeling like it. For the first time in her life, Anne felt truly whole. Of course, her upgraded eyesight was amazing but the real reason for her happiness was the beautiful girl beside her, the girl she was quickly falling in love with.
“Everything is so much more beautiful now,” Cathy breathed out as she scanned the park briefly, her eyes landing on Anne. “And it’s even better than everything in the park is also green.”
Anne tilted her head in confusion as she looked around at the trees and grass, noticing that their hue was the predominant color in the park. She looked back to Cathy. “You mean my eyes are the same color as the trees?” Anne asked, almost in disbelief.
Cathy nodded. “Though, your eyes are brighter than the leaves.”
“Wow.” Anne was at a loss for words. Kat’s description of the color green came back to Anne’s mind and she suddenly understood what Kat had been trying to explain. Colors enhanced moments that would otherwise seem ordinary, making them all the more exciting and memorable. They helped make connections between memories and surroundings, similar to how Anne’s favorite color had quickly become blue because it reminded her of Cathy.
Cathy led Anne to a bench and they sat down next to each other. Cathy turned to Anne and brushed the hair that was covering her cheek behind her ear. Anne blushed at the gesture as Cathy brought her hand to rest on Anne's cheek. She leaned into the touch as Cathy softly stroked her cheek.
Slowly, the two of them leaned in for a kiss and Anne felt a million butterflies erupt in her stomach. When their lips touched, Anne felt her heart flutter in her chest and she was certain that she could spend the rest of her life kissing Cathy.
They parted after a few moments and Anne felt a small smile play on her lips as she watched Cathy look around in awe at the park that had suddenly become much more vibrant and alive than before.
“Do you think that happens every time?” Cathy asked as she looked back to Anne with an excited smile on her face.
“I think there’s only one way to find out,” Anne said with a smirk. Cathy raised an eyebrow before licking her lips and pulling Anne in for more kisses. Though Cathy didn’t look back at her surroundings after that, instead keeping her eyes closed and enjoying the sensation of Anne’s lips on her own.
Anne quickly lost track of time, too caught up in losing herself in Cathy’s arms and in their later conversation.
“Hey! I’m curious, Anne,” Cathy began after her giggles had ceased from Anne’s stories about her disastrous experiences while attempting to cook. “How did you find me? At the library, I mean.”
“Oh! I didn’t actually,” Anne replied. “I saw you run past the restaurant where I was eating and tried to catch up to you. But, you’re really fast! I saw you walk into the library and then it was only a matter of time until I found you.”
Cathy’s eyes flashed guiltily as she remembered why she had been speeding to the library. “Oh. Yeah, I was upset after a fight I had with my roommate. Going to the library helps me calm down.”
“Is everything okay between you too?” Anne asked as she rubbed Cathy’s shoulder, sensing her distress at the memory.
“Not… exactly,” Cathy managed to reply. “She found her soulmate recently as well and I felt like she replaced me in a way. I got angry with her and snapped at her before I left. We apologized to each other but I know we still have to talk it out when I get back.”
“I know how you feel. When my cousin and I moved in together, I felt like she was spending more time with her soulmate than with me,” Anne empathized. “I talked with her about how I was feeling and she made sure to include me more and have one-on-one time together after that. I know it’s pretty cliché but communication really is key.”
Cathy pondered over what Anne had said before a look of determination passed over her features. “Yeah, you’re right. I’ll go talk to her.” Cathy paused momentarily and looked back to see Anne’s proud smile. “Thank you, Anne.”
“No problem, Cathy,” Anne said, before a look of complete terror passed over her face. “I totally forgot I left my motorcycle at brunch!” Anne exclaimed as she dropped her head in her hands in embarrassment.
Cathy giggled at Anne’s dramatic reaction before saying, “Hey, it’s okay. Let’s walk back to your brunch spot and then I can walk back to my apartment to talk with Catalina.”
“Yeah okay,” Anne breathed out as she stood up, followed by Cathy. “I could drive you to your apartment, if you’d like.”
Cathy smiled at Anne’s offer. “That would be nice.” The soulmates smiled at each other before making their way to the small restaurant where Anne had first seen Cathy. Much to her relief, her motorcycle was still parked out front where she had left it. Kat and Anna were gone but Kat had placed Anne’s helmet on the seat of her motorcycle. Anne picked it up and handed it to Cathy for her to put on.
Anne turned the motorcycle on and felt it roar to life under her. Cathy slid behind Anne and wrapped her arms around Anne’s torso, causing Anne to smile widely at the action.
As Anne navigated the streets following Cathy’s instruction, she was overcome by how suddenly her life had changed. In the morning, she had been dreaming of what it would be like to have a soulmate and now she had hers pressed softly against her back. In the morning, Anne was longing for someone to fill the void of loneliness in her heart and now Anne’s heart was overflowing with love for the beautiful woman behind her. In the morning, Anne’s world had been in black-and-white and now it was in screaming color.

truth or dare
a parrlyn fanfic
just a little something i wrote for my ao3
trigger warning: none. if there is, tell me pls
word count: 2020
“You’re staring.” Kitty whispered to her cousin after nudging her on the stomach with her feet.
“Don’t do that. And I’m not staring at anything, I’m just thinking.” Anne whispered back, and turned away.
“You were. You were staring at Cathy.” The younger girl shot back, her voice still quiet. “There’s nothing to think about, Anne, we’re watching Tangled.”
“Shut up.” Boleyn told her.
“C’mon, Annie, I know you have a crush on Cathy. You can tell me about.” Kat insisted.
“She’s my friend. That’s it.” Anne looked at Parr on the other side of the room, then looked at the blanket on her lap.
“You know it’s okay, right? Even if she’s your friend, it’s okay to like her.” Howard told her.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about.” Her cousin said and heard someone clear their throat.
“Since no one is paying attention to the movie, why don’t we stop and do something else?” Jane asked after pausing the film and turned on the lights, receiving a collective groan.
“I actually think that it’s a great idea. We could play a game, like maybe, truth or dare.” Anna suggested and look at Kitty, whose face immediately lit up and she smiled.
“Yes!” she said excitedly. “Please, please, please.”
“Alright, we can play truth or dare. Just one rule: you can’t dare someone to do something illegal or dangerous. And yes, that includes having over five spoonful’s of anything.” Catalina told them.
“But then it’s no fun.” Anne complained.
“We can totally make it fun even without those dares! There are other dares we can do.” Kat told her, shooting a glance at Cleves.
“You two are up to something.” Jane concluded.
“No, we’re not.” Anna chuckled.
“We just really like truth or dare.” Howard tried suppressing a giggle.
“Well then, you girls have fun. I have to finish a few things.” Cathy told them, getting ready to go upstairs.
“No, Cathy, stay! It’s almost midnight on a Saturday, you don’t have to work.” Kit pulled her by the hand, and she shot Aragon a pleading look.
“I’m sorry, mija, if I’m playing, so are you.” She said, and Parr groaned. “Just a few rounds, you can stop if you don’t like it.”
“Fine. Just a few rounds.” She sat down again, and looked around. “So? Who’s going first?”
“I can go.” Kitty raised her hand slightly, and the others nodded. “Okay, Jane: truth or dare?”
“Hm, dare?” Seymour smiled a bit.
“I dare you to… go two days without sewing or knitting.” The younger queen smirked.
“What?! Seriously?” she looked around, trying to ask for help. “Fine, I’ll do it.” Jane put her head on her hands, before looking up again. “Cathy, truth or dare?”
“Truth.”
“Why didn’t you want to play?” the third queen grinned, satisfied with her question when she saw Parr blush discretely.
“I don’t know, I guess I didn’t feel like it…” she cleared her throat.
“This is truth or dare, not to truths and a lie, Parr.” Anna teased her, receiving a glare.
“I- Fine! I was scared what you were going to ask. Not even the Lord knows what’s going on inside you guys’ heads.” She finally admitted. “Moving on. Anna: truth or dare?” Catherine added before anyone could say anything.
“Truth.” Cleves smirked.
“Okay, hm, have you ever committed a crime?”  Parr asked.
“Surprisingly, not yet.” Anna smiled and looked at Anne. “Anne? Truth or dare?”
“Dare.” Boleyn smirked.
“I dare you to kiss Cathy.” The other woman her eyebrows, and Anne’s smirk faded.
“What? No, that’s not how the game works.” She said, wide eyed.
“Yes, it is. It’s not against the rules.” Anna told her. “Or you could chicken out.”
“I- I don’t…” she looked at Parr. “Only if you’re comfortable…”
“It’s just a game, Anne, it’s alright.” She smiled and Boleyn got up, sitting on her legs in front of her friend. She shyly put her arms around Catherine’s neck, and felt her arms go to her waist. They inched closer until their lips touched, barely, and stayed like that for a few seconds, until they parted. ‘Shit’, Anne thought, ‘Kitty is right. I do like Cathy. Damn, how did I not see this before, all the signs were there, I’m so stupid.’
“C’mon, that was barely a kiss. Do it right.” Cleves teased and the two girls sighted.
“You don’t have to do it, Cath.” Boleyn told her.
“I can’t let you chicken out, can I?” Catherine joked and held Anne a bit closer.
‘Here goes nothing. Or everything.’, she thought before crashing her and Parr’s lips together. That kiss was deeper, and passionate, dare Anne say. Cathy’s lips were soft, but firm, and she melted into the kiss. She chuckled and hugged her closer, and Parr moved herself to position her in her lap. They didn’t know how long they spent in the kiss, but it was long enough for the other queens to get uncomfortable and clear their throats.
“Alright, that’s enough, there are children here.” Catalina told them and they left her trance.
“I- I’m sorry, I have to go.” Parr said before getting up and running upstairs, leaving a shocked Anne Boleyn sitting on the ground. Her face turned into rage and she turned to Anna.
“Are you happy now?” she asked and also stormed up to her room, feeling tears run down her face. She was followed by Kat, who called her all the way until she slammed the attic door behind her, not noticing her cousin.
“Annie? Can I come in?” she asked and hers a small grumble of ‘yes’. “What happened down stairs?” she asked after sitting on the edge of Anne’s bed.
“I ruined it, Kitty, I ruined it.” She cried.
“What did you ruin, Annie?” Howard asked softly.
“Things with Cathy. You were right, I do like her. I’m such and idiot, Kitty. I shouldn’t have agreed to that dare. I shouldn’t have done it, I shouldn’t have kissed her.” Boleyn kept going and Katherine just shook her head and hugged her, caressing her hair.
“Don’t say that, Annie. You didn’t ruin anything.” She reassured her, but still, Anne shook her head. “Let’s sleep on this, okay? You will figure this out tomorrow.”
“Okay.” Boleyn’s voice sounded heartbroken and weak, and she curled up in the corner of her bed, and slept. She was drained, and she would think about that at another time.
She avoided Catherine in the next morning. And afternoon. She couldn’t stop the thoughts that were spinning through her head, and she was scared she would spit them out at any second, so she didn’t talk much. Until Parr pulled her into her room.
“I’m sorry, okay? I’m sorry for being all weird and running away, but please don’t shut me out. It was just a dare, it didn’t mean anything.” She plead, her eyes watering. Anne just stared at her in awe, feeling tears form in her own eyes. “Please say something, Anne.”
“I’m sorry. I didn’t want to make you uncomfortable.” She whispered and left the room, not looking back.
Another week passed and they hadn’t talked properly since. Boleyn was hurt by what Catherine had said, and she didn’t want to make things worse. But then, there was no way that it would be worse than how it was. The two queens completely ignoring each other was even worse than sharing glares.
“Kitty? Can I talk to you?” Cathy asked the younger woman, entering her room.
“Sure. What is it?” Howard smiled, and the other closed the door and pulled the chair of her vanity, so she could sit in front of the girl.
“I messed up big time, didn’t I?” she asked, and Kitty turned her head, a bit confused. “With Anne. She hates me, doesn’t she?”
“She doesn’t hate you. She just doesn’t know what to do. You guys should seriously talk.” She said.
“She has been avoiding me all week. I can’t take this anymore, but she doesn’t want to talk to me.” Catherine said.
“Tell her that. And just say how you feel. I’m sure she will appreciate it.” Kat smiled.
“But I’m scared… I don’t want to mess things up again.” Parr said and buried her head on her arms.
“Okay, Cathy, I didn’t want to tell you this, but apparently I have to. Anne wants to talk to you. She’s just terrified about what you’ll say. She cares a lot about you. Talk to her. Please.” Howard said and the other nodded.
“I’ll try.”
Anne knew she couldn’t ignore Parr forever. But she wanted to. Now that she realized it, she couldn’t hide the fact that she liked her, and after that kiss, she didn’t know what to do anymore. Boleyn felt herself get further and further away from her friend, and it hurtled, but she knew it would be better than rejection. She wanted to tell her how she felt, but she couldn’t, so she would keep her mouth shut. Until the one and only Catherine Parr knocked in her door.
“What do you want?” she asked.
“I just want to talk. Please.” Cathy looked at her, her face filed with pain and guilt.
“Come in.” Anne motioned to the spot on her bed in front of her. “Close the door, please.” She didn’t dare to look Parr in the eyes; she knew that if she did, she wouldn’t let her say what she wanted to say.
“I’m sorry, Anne, for everything I did wrong. I get it if you need space, but please don’t just shut me out like that. I can’t take it anymore. Having you avoid me hurts, Annie, a lot. You mean so much to me, I can’t lose you, especially not for that stupid dare.” Catherin said after she sat down in front of her, reaching out to hold her hands. Reluctantly, Boleyn let the other queen take her hands on hers.
“I’m sorry. I thought you were mad…” she whispered, but Cathy shook her head.
“That’s not it… not all of it… talk to me, Anne, please…” she plead again, and Anne breathed a shaky breath.
“It didn’t mean nothing, not for me… I didn’t want it to mean nothing… but it did, for you it did… I’m sorry.”  Her voice was barely audible, and Catherine let go of one of her hands, only to pull her chin up softly, so they would be looking into each other’s eyes.
“Anne I- I’m sorry… I had no clue…” she whispered.
“It’s okay… I knew you didn’t feel the same way, so I just thought it would be better if I stopped talking to you, so you didn’t get uncomfortable.” Boleyn told her and smiled. “I won’t do it again.”
“Which one? Kiss me, or push away?” their voices were nothing but a whisper.
“Both.”
“No. Don’t push away… but please kiss me…” Cathy inched closer, until their faces were almost touching. “I freaked out, Anne, I thought you didn’t want it, I was scared you would hate me if I… I don’t know, if I acted like I liked it… so I just said it wasn’t a big deal.”
“You like me back?” Anne asked and the other woman nodded. “You’re not just saying this because I told you…”
“No. I like you, Annie, I really do. For a few months now. I was just denying it, I guess. I didn’t want to mess things up… but still, somehow I did.” Parr told her.
“We both messed up… but we’ll figure things out, I promise.” Anne whispered, leaning into her.
“Can I kiss you, Annie? Can this time mean something?” Cathy once again had a hand on Boleyn’s waist, while the other caressed her cheek.
“This time, it can mean everything.” Anne said, and their lips finally touched.
It wasn’t the ideal start of a relationship. It was messy, full of too many emotions, both good and bad, and the way they got their hurtled. But if it weren’t for that truth or dare game, they wouldn’t be there.

Oui, Oui, Bonjour
 A/N: In french, "excité" means horny and many English speakers tend to think it means excited instead. Anyways, this oneshot is a birthday gift for @universe-universe-youre-m-i-ine so please wish her a happy birthday! (I may not be that good of a writer but at least I tried¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Hopefully some of you can enjoy the Parrlyn fluff)
--------
  Anne took pride in being bilingual. She loved having the ability to speak another language, especially one of which no one else in her household could speak. However, she wasn't the only one who was able to do this. Both Catalina and Anna were bilingual as well, the former speaking Spanish whereas the latter spoke German. Anne was fine with this, seeing as though no one else knew French.
  What she didn't know, however, was that one of her fellow queens had been studying the language. Seeing as though she seemed to spend most of her time working, it wasn't out of the ordinary for Catherine Parr to be jotting down notes as she scanned her laptop screen. To Cathy, the French language seemed intriguing, yet frustrating.
  "Who the hell decided to give objects genders?" She mumbled to herself. La chaise, le chaise. Who cared! Cathy let out a low groan as she facepalmed. What was the point of learning this cursed language? She was just about to give up for the day when suddenly, she was struck with an idea. Hurriedly, she made her way downstairs to the living room, where she knew Anne would be.
  Surely enough, Cathy was right. There she was in the midst of playing Mario Kart with Anna and Kat. Not wanting to disturb them, she took a spot on the armchair and waited.
  "Yes!" Anna exclaimed, pumping her fist into the air. "How does it feel to lose?" She smirked.
  "I sacrificed myself for Kitty's sake." Anne lifted her chin,  "If I hadn't lost on purpose, she'd constantly be in last place."
  "Hey, I'm getting better!" Kat pouted.
  "Yeah, sure you are." Her cousin chuckled, ruffling her pink locks.
  "I bet Cathy could beat you both." She shot back. All heads turned to look at Parr, who was somewhat surprised with the sudden attention.
  "Well, as much as I'd love to have your asses handed to you-"
  "Hah! She doesn't wanna admit that she can't play!"
  "Shut up, Cleves!" Anne shouted, elbowing her friend.
  "Anyways, I wanted to show something to Annie." She paused. "Or rather, tell her something."
  "Oh mein gott, it's happening." Anna whispered, grasping onto Kat's shoulders. "She's confessing her undying love."
  "I can hear you, dumbass." Anne rolled her eyes, trying but failing miserably to hide her blush.
  "So lately, I've been trying to study French. And I thought I could demonstrate a bit of what I've learned and have your opinion on it, if that's alright?" Although she was internally smirking, Cathy appeared calm and composed.
  "Oh sure. Go ahead."
  "Je suis tellement excitée de te voir!" At this point, she practically had to bite her lip to stop herself from grinning.
  Needless to say, Anne's reaction was priceless. Cathy could've sworn she'd never seen someone's face redden so quickly.
  "I-" She paused for a moment, attempting to collect herself. "D-do you know what that means?"
  Biting her lip wasn't enough for her anymore. She began to pinch her inner thigh in attempt to contain her laughter. In the most innocent voice she could muster, Parr spoke.
  "Yeah, it means 'I'm very excited to see you!'" She exclaimed in a tone of faux innocence.
  "Ca- Cathy? Excité doesn't mean excited" Anne had begun to fiddle with the hem of her shirt, attempting to avoid the other woman's gaze.
  "Oh? What does it mean?" God, this was so entertaining for her. Anne proceeded to mumble something.
  "What was that?" She questioned, her voice laced with amusement. "I can't hear you."
  "It means horny!" Anna interjected. Anne shot her an incredulous look.
  "How did you even know that?" The German queen simply winked at her before starting a new game with Kat.
  "So yeah... You accidentally said 'I'm very horny to see you' instead."
  "I know." Cathy laughed, not being able to hold back any longer. The other woman's eyes shot up to meet hers.
  "Y-you- What?" Anne was lost for words. What the hell just happened?
  "I knew what it meant. I was just trying to get a reaction out of you." Once her laughter was now reduced to a few giggles, she continued, "And it sure as hell worked."
  "Cathy, you bitch." Anne leaned back, pouting.
  "Don't worry 'bout what I said. I'm just tryna have some fun." She quipped, earning a playful shove
  "You did not just fucking quote my own song."
  "I so did." She replied, sticking her tongue out at the second queen.
  "Then I guess you don't need my love." Cathy let out a mocking gasp.
  "I kid! I kid!" Anne raised her hands in surrender before leaning into her and wrapping her arms around the woman's waist.
  "Damn, that's gay."
  "Shut the hell up, Anna."

Helpless - Parrlyn
kinda like a prequel to my ‘that would be enough’ & ‘I hope that you burn’ fic:)
Anne arrives at the ‘Winters ball’ to meet her soon to be wife, though she doesn’t know it yet, and best friends, Catherine Parr alongside her friends, Katherine Howard, Anne’s cousin, and Catalina De Aragon
~
Anne grins as she walks into the ballroom, Anna and Jane at her side, “If you could marry a sister, you’re rich, son” Anna comments as she looks the three sisters up and down, Anne grins “Is it a question of if, Cleves, or which one?” Anne says wrapping an arm around Anna’s shoulders
“Hey!” Jane scolds, knowing how the two get when together, “Don’t objectify them” She tells the two, who look at her unamused “Well, I for one am going to shoot my shot with Ms. Catalina” Anne says with a smirk walking over to said girl
“You strike me as a woman who’s never been satisfied” Anne says cockily as she approached Catalina “I’m sure I don’t know what you mean, you forget yourself.” Catalina says in response causing Anne’s smirk to widen
“You’ll like me, I’m never satisfied.” Anne informs the girl who raises a brow “Is that right?” Catalina questions softly, Anne nods taking her hand in hers “Ive never been satisfied” Anne repeats as she kisses the girls hand softly
Catalina takes a deep breath “My name is Catalina De Aragon” She says introducing herself, “Anne Boleyn” She informs the girl in front of her “Where’s your family from?” Catalina questions causing Anne to fidget with her hands “unimportant there’s a million things I haven’t done but, just you wait, just you wait.” Anne tells the girl before going back to her friends
“How’d it go?” Anna questions, Anne shrugs “She asked about my family and I dipped, no way would Aragon willing get with me if she knew.” Anne mumbles sadly, “Think again.” Jane says with a happy smile
Anne looks confused but it quickly changes when a hand grips her arm “Come with me” Catalina says, almost sadly, Anne nods as she walks alongside her “Where are you taking me?” Anne asks after a moment
“I’m about to change your life” The taller girl informs her, causing Anne to smirk “then by all means, lead the way” But what happened next, Anne wasn’t expecting.
“Catherine Parr, it’s a pleasure to meet you” A girl in blue says as the two approach her “Parr?” Anne questions, looking at Catalina “My god-daughter” She informs Anne who nods before turning her attention back to Cathy
“If it takes fighting a war for us to meet, it would have been worth it.” Anne says softly kissing the girls hand, not noticing Catalina leave, “Thats very kind of you so say, Ms...” Catherine trails off not knowing the girls name
“Boleyn, Anne Boleyn.” She introduces herself with a smile
~
ONE WEEK LATER
“She’s writing me letters every night, god my life just gets better and better with every letter that she writes me.” Anne rants to Jane who smiles softly as the girl
“I’m just saying, if you really loved me, you would introduce me to Catalina.” She points out, Anne wiggles her brows at Jane “someone has a crush” she says teasingly as Janes face goes read
TWO WEEKS LATER
Anne felt more stressed then ever as she practically begs Cathys father for his blessing on their marriage, Anne knew she loved Cathy and as long as she was with her, she would never feel helpless.
Anne looks even more nervous when Cathys father places a hand on her shoulder “Be true to her, Anne” He says softly causing Anne to grin widely, Kitty was the first one to hug Anne, then came Catalina and then, Cathy, who pulls the girl into a kiss
The others leave the two alone and Anne takes a breathe “Cathy, I don’t have a dollar to my name, an acre of land, a troop to command or a dollop of fame, all I have is my honour, a tolerance to pain, a couple of college credits and my top notch brain” Anne starts off, holding Cathy in her arms
“It’s insane how your friends brings out a different side of me, Kitty confides in me, Catalina tried to take a bite of me” Anne says awkwardly before noticing the panicked look on Cathys face
“No stress! My love for you is never in doubt, we’ll get a little place in Kent and then we’ll figure it out.” Anne says softly, placing a kiss to cathys forehead “Ive been living without a family since I was a child, my father left, my mother died, I grew up buck wild but, I’ll never forget my mothers face that was real, as long as I’m alive, Cathy I swear you’ll never be helpless” Anne says kissing Cathy passionately
~

[chapter 5: Turning Nightmares to Daydreams]
Summary: Cathy knows she definitely doesn’t have a problem. No, it’s totally normal to drink close to six cups of coffee a day and not go to bed until 4 am then wake up at 7 am, that would be absurd.
But for some reason, the other Queens think she definitely does have a problem so enter Anne Boleyn with her … unique methods—to say the least—to help her out.
TW: mentions of past death, mentions of s*xual a**ult (what happend between Elizabeth and Thomas S), crying/nightmares (?)
A/N: I accidentally wrote 5k words :) here’s your hurt/comfort finally you useless gays

Addressing the situation
Right, I owe an explanation. When Politics-notmything was first made. I co-owned it with a girl called Nikole. (pronounced Nicole | Tumblr: Nikole-flux (WARNING: Blog contains some very nsfw stuff)) We met on a Mean Girls discord and she wanted to start a SIX Tumblr blog with my help. I said 'sure' and we started writing incorrect quotes. Nikole eventually said "i don’t wanna do this anymore" and sent me a chapter of this parrlyn hanahaki au that she ‘wrote’. Nikole mentioned nothing about it being plagiarised and me not being on ao3, published it the next day as ‘Can you see us down here’ saying that she didn't want credit. She decided she didn't want to be mentioned on the blog at all and therefore took all her posts down which mentioned her and only proceeded to post fics and giving me all credit. I was confused as to why she didn’t want credit but overtime I asked she only said “As thanks for getting me out of a sticky situation.”
Nikole continued to write fics for me (now of which i know where plagiarised) and publish them without wanting credit. Nikole claimed to have all these 'chapters pre-written and linked me to her google doc with everything. This doc contained chapters, plots, entire stories and one shots all written - she mentioned nothing and didn’t want to be mentioned. In January 2020 I was taken out of my previous school to join a new one. I claimed I needed a break from the blog to get my life together but Nikole, (thinking i was leaving her and not understanding my reasoning that i was being bullied) argued with me. I then i found out she was a terf when I mentioned about my aunt being Trans and i dropped her, removed her and blocked her from the blog. Of course, she'd left me with a shit ton of pre-written fics (she used to be mine, Can you see us down here and other oneshots considering she wrote them around christmas time in 2019)
I was totally oblivious to the fact she'd copied them from the internet but needed content as i adjusted to life in a new school. I posted them oblivious to everything. However, not all my fics are plagiarised. The ones i wrote myself are still on there, its only the GINAT ASS series that were given to me. However, this did in fact happen on my blog so I must take responsibility and I accept all the backlash that will come from this.
However, It has come to my attention that fics which were on the doc Nikole shared to me have been posted over the course of this year (one being posted in November 2020. I have no idea what this could be, I simply posted fics which I thought were written by my friend.
https://docs.google.com/document/d/19l8FpiP0aiCCkpngKvXrtQSyi8GLZKIaHGmPfKPK3Pc/edit?usp=sharing
 Luck be a Lady is in fact mine- The doc above is my irl notes. wolf1Ez is an account run by one of my closest friends. We worked together on the fic but it wasn't getting love in the overwatch fandom so she said i could post it onto the six fandom
UPDATE: I have deleted the plagiarised fics on ao3 and take full responsibility for this issue as it was publish on my blog, under my hand. Im extremely sorry, I owe you all an apology
