Zhongli sighs and looks around the Golden House as the ginger kept ‘flexing’ the powers he gained from the Abyss, but then he chuckles slightly.

“Xiangsheng, you flatter me, calling me by that name…” Childe wriggled his eyebrows, making Zhongli facepalm. “You envy my abilities, don’t you?~”

Zhongli looks back at him.

“Envy your abilities? Why should I even—"

The Harbinger shushed him.

“Tell me Xiangsheng, do you want me to show you what am I capable of?” Childe grinned.

“I know what are you capable of, Ajax…no need to. But I don’t understand what is it exactly that I should envy.” Zhongli shrugs

Childe just smiled.

“Любовь (Lyubov'), I bet you’ll change your mind the moment I’ll show you…well, that ability.” Childe said teasingly, gently cupping Zhongli’s cheek with his hand as he looks slightly down at him.

Greetings to the esteemed fan base. I am the newest victim of IDV propaganda, finally enticed by the sheer ridiculousness of the Composer's gameplay, sent to me by an old time friend who's been playing this game for as long as I have known them. Granted, I did start a good two weeks prior writing this post however with recent events, it has come to my attention that I Must inquire the following:

Is it just me, or does Frederick constantly get targeted first?

I have no fucking clue on where to begin with this. I admit quite shamelessly that I am a coward and very new to the PvP game scene, previously only religiously playing otome games and then mmorpgs (PvE type). Henceforth I chose to solely play as a decoder (after taking a liking to the Composer's play style) FOOLISH THINKING, that I could avoid confrontation with the Hunters. AND YET, as you can probably deduce from my question, I am CONSTANTLY targeted first.

Does the man have sweet juicy ass that attracts hunters in general? Are Composers just so rare to find that hunters can't help but to HAVE to chase the one guy with the tuning fork that speeds him away?

I quote this conversation yesterday, with my dearest friend who got me into this mess in the first place, AD VERBATIM,

My dearest friend, grits teeth, has been unabashedly laughing at me for the sheer misfortune of attracting all the hunters in the world. You may laugh as well, fellow netizen.

Not every single match of course, I would've known that the world was dead set on killing me off first in that way but No. Maybe a 7/10 matches, I'd get targeted first. Maybe twice or thrice I'd get the doki dokis and nyoom away in time, God forbid if I get tracked down then on the small chance I'd still successfully kite for a while and then get the fuck away from the hunter. Or maybe, just maybe, for that peaceful few matches, I can decode. In. Peace. But nooooooooo, next match they'll DEFINITELY come back with Vengeance.

And so, as you can see, I am truly in a pickle. Please send help.

For clarification, as some of you may think "awww this newbie's throwing a fit over skill issues"

First and foremost,

Yes I am. I will admit it.

2. No, I do not vault over stuff for no reason anymore (yes I used to, as Gardener in the first 3 or 4 days before I got Composer, sue me)

3. I don't constantly miss combos (I know 3 misses will alert, collectively and not consecutively), so I'm definitely sure that's not the issue, I am pretty consistent with my combos usually reaching 100+ on lvl 2 IF I ever get a peaceful time ciphering away from the hunter/them having another unfortunate soul to harass.

4. I'm... Well. I'd like to think I'm a decent player as a Composer as I do have some mastery over his kit. It's to the point that I have 100% deduction on Frederick as I have played him religiously for these two weeks and yes, of course clearing the escape using tuning fork missions were one of those that got quickly cleared due to the sheer frequency of me getting hunted.

THUS AND THEREFORE I REQUEST OF THEE, AN ANSWER.

IS COMPOSER HOT SHIT FOR FIRST GRABS OR IS IT TRULY!!!! TRULY JUST ME.

Fellow Composer mains please reply, I am in dire need of validation.

A 2 week old Composer main, fresh off a match where I contained Fool's Gold for 3 ciphers in the circus map, got chaired, then saved by Embalmer, then the man gave up when I speeded away and he chased Embalmer in the seats while I, trying to realize my Norton x Frederick delusions, ran back to decode the last cipher machine right next to them.

(Eventually someone else completed the last cipher and along with the rest of the crew we made our merry little way to the gate, Fool's Gold randomly throwing his silly little pickaxe around while we left behind a graffiti mess and the poor fellow as we escaped. A bittersweet victory indeed.)

yeah, maybe because of whats happening right now - eddie being wanted for murder and being watched like a hawk by steve the hair harrington - he may be a bit more quiet than usual, but it was….unusual.

apologies for the double use of the word usual, but none of this is normal.

she turns her head over to her boyfriend- or atleast tries to- but he’s not there.

“eddie, baby?” i just saw steve 🤭😍

she stands up quickly, turning around so fast she might get whiplash, just to see she’s not in the boathouse.

“m-mama, please.” her hands reach to cover her ears as she sinks to the floor, hiding her face in eddie’s her flannel. tears drip uncontrollably down her face as she grips her hair.

why cant everything go away?

everything stopped.

the knocking, the banging, the twisting of the doorknob, her mothers screaming — it all stopped.

Jimin’s bday WeLive v.2022

As I am listening in the first few minutes, I am having difficulty determining if the background sounds I am hearing are a door opening and closing and perhaps someone moving around in the room or is that his feet and shoes under the table? Like maybe it’s the shuffling sound of his shoes/feet? And he does look off to the side every now and then, sometimes just glancing at nothing? but also a few times actually looks as if his eyes focus on something specific...or not. Maybe not.

You know, I have seen the comments about hearing a certain someone whisper “Jjyaman” during a moment but me, being the skeptical asshole I am, just pooh-poohed that... y’all are reaching! don’t be like them! But now.... (listens very very carefully now). Hmmm.

Jimin putting up his own printed out birthday decor on the wall and he can’t seem to hang them correctly and me over here with my most basic of basic, like SCREAMING basic knowledge of Hangul can tell right away that he is hanging some of them upside down... Jimin, hun.... you are a born-and-educated-in-Korea, Korean... full bleed as we say here. It’s upside-down, babe.

Ok, Jimin sucks at handling tape. We know its not his first time too...

Finally he sees his mistakes and corrects the ones hanging upside-down... goodness. But now I am spurred on to get on with it on my Hangul lessons. FIGHTING! Anyway.

OMG him singing Happy Birthday in English, his pronunciation is immaculate. Him reading some of the comments in English! He understands that Army is majority international and I am grateful to him for making the effort to sharpen his English skills. I will do the same with Korean.

I can also hear traffic in the background... that room must be on the ground floor of the building or close to/facing Hangang-Daero (the main thoroughfare that the HYBE building is on). And it’s midnight there and that traffic still sounds like hell.

Ok, I got to the part where everyone swears it’s JK whispering “JJyaman” but I think it’s just Jimin saying “jyah” just like he did 17 seconds prior, only softer the second time. Yep, that’s me, crusher of delusions. Sorry.

I love how he’s so confident he can make this LEGO flower in no time and immediately can’t find the correct parts.... hahahahah... and his need to prove he can multitask... so cute of him. Relax, Jimin, it’s a LEGO kit, not a 4-minute high impact complex choreography in which you have to sing and hit the high notes on key. We know you got skillz. You don’t need to impress us with a LEGO kit.

Hahahaha! “You should read the instructions first” he says 30 minutes into it... that’s the left side speaking there... if you know, you know. Also, why does he have to pick the most difficult kits to be his first go at it? He’s such a nerd doing this. And I love him 2000% more for that. Then he realizes it took him 45 minutes to make that one flower hahahahahha!

BRO I WENT THROUGH RUKAWA'S COVERS THIS MORNING BECAUSE I WAS REMINDED THAT HIS EYE COVER EXISTS 😭 listening to them after months of not listening to them bonked me so hard because fuckkkkkk they were just so good. I also had an anon who really loved Rukawa's stuff and would bulli me about joining one of his livestreams WWWWWWWWW I wonder where they are now, they were pretty iconic and one of the few anons I really remember lel

If I may ramble a bit on them HAHAHAHAHHA I'm super picky about anyone who dare tries to voice Azul because it's one of his absolutely best features. If you tell me that someone sounds like they'd be a good match for an EN dub Azul, I will judge the hell out of it and 99% of the time, I'll say no. Like yeah, maybe I can hear it, but it's not quite Azul enough for me to be convinced. Obviously, Rukawa by far is the best voice impressionist for Azul (probably the only one on the JP side or if there's someone else 👁👄👁)

Even then, Rukawa's performances have their ups and downs. For anyone who hasn't listened to Rukawa's Azul covers yet, I personally rank them, in descending order (noting that these are the Azul-only covers, not the dorm leader covers he's done with other people):

Friend Like Me -> the ABSOLUTE BEST!! IT'S LIKE TAMARU HIMSELF WAS SINGING IT 😭 I really believe this is Rukawa's best performance with Azul's voice. Firstly, he really hits that sweet spot between low and high pitch. Azul's voice isn't that deep, but it isn't really high pitched either (for a guy). It managed to capture his smugness and youthfulness all at once, as well as that airy and wholeness quality that his voice has (I hope I'm using the right adjectives 😭). And THE LAUGH IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SONG!! THE LAUGH WAS SO PERFECT, THAT I WANT TO MELT FROM IT HUHUHHUU I distinctly remember after listening to that cover the first time, when I was about to listen to the actual Friend Like Me in a Disney playlist, I had to pause said playlist because I got immediate brainrot from hearing the first notes to Friend Like Me 💀 that's how I knew that that cover got me horribly bad. But for me, the most important thing about this is how effortless Rukawa sounded to sound like Azul. Most of his covers kind of sound like he had to put a lot of effort in sounding like Azul, but this one sounds like he didn't have to struggle to sound like Azul. It's like he wasn't so focused on the Azul aspect, but he let himself sing it as if he himself was Azul, and he was able to carry it out really well.

King -> I distinctly remember the night this was uploaded. It was 1am, it was around the summer months, and I was about to go to sleep when someone in a server sent that cover. And I went absolutely bALLISTIC because I was having a horrible brainrot over King at that time, and to end up hearing Azul's (imitated) voice singing that song was gonna be death to me. I went to sleep though and listened in the morning. Anyway, WHEN HE SPOKE BEFORE THE SONG REALLY STARTED, THAT REALLY WAS OUGHHHH 💀 dead. AND THE INSANE LAUGHTER AT THE END I 🫠🫠🫠 I think I went on my knees. Rukawa nails the more seductive sound Azul's voice can take very well here. You really hear this especially in 0:41-0:56. He managed to get the cadence and smoothness that Azul's voice can take when it goes to a deeper more seductive tone. I really get shivers there 😩 My one comment though would be that Rukawa does struggle a bit when imitating Azul's voice while singing. My pickiness really starts coming out here because there are some parts where I hear Rukawa and not Azul. But otherwise, it doesn't take away from the overall experience, and it's a great cover. Definitely deserves the almost 780k views.

Eye -> Almost on the same level as King actually. The thing that brings this lower than King is that it loses a certain energy that the original and other covers hold, whereas at least King managed to retain the energy that the original should have. Aside from this, you really get to hear more of that sweet seductive voice 😩 the pre-choruses especially have this. AND SPECIAL MENTION TO 0:34-0:36 AND 1:34-1:36 BECAUSE RUKAWA REALLY FUCKING NAILS THAT DEEP SEXY VOICE 🤡 1:16-1:27 also nails this so well too. oughhh let me be your Lindo, Azul 😳

Poor Unfortunate Souls -> Man, this one is actually a really big drop from the other three. It's not bad by all means, but I really could hear Rukawa struggling to breathe. At times, he sounds really strained. Then there's also the energy of the song :') like, I guess because it is hard to capture that sassy energy while retaining a certain voice, it would affect the performance as a whole. But still, it felt like Rukawa was so focused on sounding like Azul that he couldn't focus on being able to present his character. I'd think Azul would be more out there, more confident and sassy, but he was really muted here. I would have wanted the energy from Friend Like Me. There are times where I hear more of Rukawa than Azul as well, which is a small comment compared to the rest of the comments I have, but again, pickiness coming out. Aside from those things, I do like his voice when he's talking. I can hear Azul there, so that's still a huge plus for me.

To answer your second question, no it's not a glitch HAHAHAHA I really set it to be like that xD don't worry, my blog is fine (minus the fact that it's shadowbanned ._. which I'll get fixed soon hahaha,,,,)
